3481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to be used as world currency? on: May 14, 2018, 04:15:12 PM
Bitcoin will not be world mainstream currency. There are several reasons for that and volatility and limited number of coins are some of them.
Still Bitcoin can already be considered as world currency because it can be used anywhere in the world where people have internet connection and it's accepted by many nations all around the world, it has no boundaries, it doesn't fall under regulation of only one country. I think this is enough to be considered as world currency.
3482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long Bitcoin can survive in cryptocurency industry ? on: May 13, 2018, 07:14:35 PM
Bitcoin will survive as long as users have the interest for it. That cab last forever or be finished very soon. No matter all the factors that influence the market and the price I beleive that only users itself decide how and what will happen with Bitcoin now and in near or distant future.
Form the current situation I.only see further development and progress of Bitcoin so it will not end soon.
3483  Economy / Economics / Re: 7 REASONS WHY: which one are you? on: May 13, 2018, 11:01:06 AM
I can find myself in points 1, 2 and 5.
Although Bitcoin isn't so anonimous and incognito like it was at the begininig still it's easier not to reveal the identity than with fiat money.
For me Bitcoin is also very convenient, it's available to me always and everywhere and also I like it as a way of payment, especialy if I use Bitcoin debit card.
Showing off was for many users the reason at the very begininig of Bitcoin when only few were familiar with it but now I think this has changed.
3484  Other / Off-topic / Re: what wallet can you recommend? on: May 13, 2018, 09:24:23 AM
As a mobile wallet I use Mycelium. It's great wallet, very convenient and safe too and I can recommend it to everyone.
It's also good to combine different types of wallets so I can recommend hard wallet like Ledger Nano.
The choice is rather big and depends on your preferences but just remember not to use web wallets or exchanges like wallets, they are at least safe.
3485  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you should buy Bitcoin now. on: May 12, 2018, 05:29:04 PM
I think it's all been said before, when the price is going down it's time to buy.
Currently we see some price correction, that I think it will not last for long, but as long as it lasts it's the good chance to buy some more coins at lower price.
Don't panic now and don't sell but buy more. Although there will always be some newbies and panic prone users who will start to sell.
3486  Economy / Economics / Re: What is with Buffett and Gates? on: May 12, 2018, 12:28:13 PM
For some reason and maybe because of their history we think that people like Buffet and Gates should strongly support Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. And when they don't we get disappointed.
But the truth is that they are not such big authorities in the field of cryptocurrencies and from my perspective their opinion is not so much relevant. And you can't never know what are their hidden reasons for such attitude towards Bitcoin.
I think they both live in their own worlds that sometimes don't have much to do with reality.
3487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Paying Your Crypto Taxes? A Recent Study Suggests Otherwise on: May 12, 2018, 07:25:30 AM
This is depending on the country you live. Not every country has the regulations regarding cryptocurrencies and how they treat them. But in most countries that regulate Bitcoin you don't have to pay taxes on Bitcoin itself, so if you just keep it in your wallet but you have to pay taxes on transactions, so when you exchange it for fiat or if you are registered trader like on localbitcoins.
In fact you have to pay the taxes only if you are doing some kind of business with Bitcoin.
3488  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why do people continue to invest in cloudmining? on: May 11, 2018, 07:33:09 PM
Because people are very naive and eager for money, even greedy. They are buying all kind of promises without checking the facts. Scamers actualy have easy job, in most cases they don't even have to bother too much to make some sophisticated scheems. And the less educated and informed people are they get scamed more easily.
3489  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can drop again 7K zone. on: May 11, 2018, 04:19:39 PM
It's possible I admit but I don't think the price will go down all the way to 7000$ in this round.
I can already feel how panic among users is rising, again, although in fact there is no reason for that.
Use this minor price change for buying the coins to profit in the near future when the price will go up again.
3490  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC falling like a rock on: May 11, 2018, 12:10:49 PM
Don't always look for exact reasons that price is falling, you will not find them. Beleive me, whatever someone might say it's just speculation. Some say that news from South Korea caused this but I don't support that theory.
Besides, it's not so huge price drop so there is no room for panic.
Volatility is natural part of Bitcoin, accept it.
3491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I did it! Traveling with Bitcoin and $100 only on: May 11, 2018, 11:13:39 AM
You are the proof it's possible. Although it takes some more efforts and organization and to inform yourself well.
Personaly I'm a bit more relaxed and confortable, especialy when traveling and that is the reason why I use my Bitcoin through debit card. It's far more convenient because I don't have to think where is Bitcoin accepted or not and I can pay everything with my coins, including hotels and I don't need any other money or card.
3492  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think the whales are manipulating the markets on: May 10, 2018, 07:25:44 PM
Many people beleive this is true. In general people like conspiracy theories and beleive in them.
I think this is not completely untrue  but on the other side the influence of whales is not that big and they can't manipulate the market in the way that they completely control the price.
I think they can intiate some movements in.coordinate activities but I still beleive that Bitcoin remains independent.
3493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How well does Bitcoin function as a currency? on: May 10, 2018, 12:05:59 PM
Trends and criteria are changing and evolving all the time. From my point of view Bitcoin is already functioning well as a currency although it doesn't fit to all standards. But it's flexible enough to adapt to necessary changes and requirements. Also regulations might further help with that.
3494  Economy / Economics / Re: A government can create a cryptocurrency ? on: May 10, 2018, 09:09:17 AM
Everyone can create cryptocurrency, person, organization or government but the question is whether that makes sense and will that cryptocurrency have any success.
Just because it's created and supported by government that doesn't guarantee to cryptocurrency that will be adopted by users and have any chance to compete with Bitcoin or any other successful cryptocurrency.
So to my opinion any government can create own cryptocurrency, why not.
3495  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you recommend never store cryptos on an exchange website? on: May 10, 2018, 06:57:47 AM
Absolutely! Never keep your coins on exchanges, except for trading purpose, because they are not wallets. If you keep your Bitcoins on exchange they are not so protected and are far more exposed to hackers attack than in your wallet. But many users are too comfortable to protect themselves properly and sooner or later they usualy find themselves in situation they suffer loss or some kind of inconvenience.
3496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future predictions about crypto currencies on: May 10, 2018, 05:49:50 AM
By now I think everyone is clear that cryptocurrencies are the future. But at the same time no one can't exactly predict in what direction will they go and how the future development will look like.
Nevertheless cryptocurrencies are the good choice and people that are already involved with them and have certain experiences and knowledge will have the advantage comparing to others. Because cryptocurrencies are not going to disappear but with time will become even more established.
3497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin pose a threat to banks? on: May 09, 2018, 07:01:52 PM
I beleive that banks feel certain fear from cryptocurrencies because they steal part of their business, customers and markets.
But on the other hand I don't think that Bitcoin pose some real threat to existance of banks because they will survive. They will adapt and change their business, even accept blockchain technology but they will survive.
But just because cryptocurrencies will force banks to change the way they are doing their business this is a very positive influence of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
3498  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are there any new Bitcoin debit cards? on: May 09, 2018, 06:09:22 PM
I know that WireX has found a new partnership and they started to roll out their Debit Card to UK based customer and more country will have their turn someday.

Have you ever tried Wirex in the past and where have you seen this information regarding where they are currently available? I saw in their blog article that they state "As it says in the title, we launched our new Currency Accounts and Virtual Cards across all European countries."

Also I am a bit skeptic when I see that there seem to be no spending and loading limits, plus I have some doubts because I remember I was reading that they don't provide the best service but I don't know if that has changed with time.

Do not look for the new bitcoin debit cards mate. Instead of that you will be go to research who is having the best service on bitcoin debit card hosting mate. I have found some useful BTC debit cards in the 99bitcoins website.
Please find that on below link,
https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-debit-card-compared-reviewed/

I personally suggest you to use the Advcash service. This is really good one than any card services.

As far as I know advcash is not available atm, even this article doesn't list it.

Yes, I also think that Advcash is not available anymore. At least not in Europe.

Seems that Bitcoin debit card market will stay poor for a longer period of time because all former providers are promising the new solutions and partners but I doubt that they are actualy making any progress. Maybe there is also some other reason for that, like further Bitcoin regulation?
3499  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I stop panic selling cryptocurrency? on: May 09, 2018, 12:03:27 PM
Well, admiting that you are selling under influence of panic is a great deal. Now you are aware what mistake you are maiking and you can take some steps to prevent that in the future.
First inform yourself well and be careful about that source of information. Don't react immediately on the first sign of market change and act according to your strategy. Experience will also help you to think calmly and by using your head not emotions.
3500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pay with Crypto - what's the best solution on: May 08, 2018, 06:22:13 PM
Xapo was functioning that way but they don't have cards anymore. Card was directly connected with wallet and you didn't need to change the coins before you spend them, they were converted at the moment you paid with them.
Now I'm using Mistertango but they are exchanging coins the moment you deposit them on the card and the rates are very favorite.
Still I think that Bitcoin debit cards are the most convenient and the easiest way to spend Bitcoin.
