3481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will a coin cost if the USA abandon the US dollar today and switch to BTC? on: November 29, 2021, 04:28:37 PM
It will make a huge difference in the Bitcoin price, but it will also NEVER happen... because the power of the US Dollar as a global reserve currency will never be relinquished by the USA .. over other countries.  Wink  The US government know how to manipulate the price of the US Dollar (Printing it like toilet paper) ...and they cannot do that with Bitcoin.

There are also a strong sentimental link to the US Dollar and the politicians know this, so it will be political suicide to do this. We saw the outcry from a section of the El Salvador public, when their government accepted Bitcoin as legal tender.  Roll Eyes

Mount Magmas slot is very thrilling when you get the chance to hit the mega jackpot  no strategy just rely on luck Cheesy 2nd try and still fail to reach bonus
If you are playing slots at bitcasino, please try this game you will get a different sensation from other slots

~~image removed~~

Just take note.... I reported an exploitable problem with "Mount Magmas" and due to this, it was removed from another popular casino (which I will not name here out of respect for Bitcasino)

This "bug" are used by highrollers to frequently win this Daily Jackpots, so your chance of winning these jackpots (Daily & Mega) are very slim. I loved Mount Magmas, but it was so abused... that I could not handle it anymore.

One of the owners of that casino said that Push Gaming developers are looking into this and that it will be re-introduced once the "bug" has been fixed. (I cannot wait for it to be fixed)
3483  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Social Crypto Community on: November 28, 2021, 01:21:22 PM
Is this truly a "Social Crypto" community or just another effort to create utility for the DIBIT token? The forum does not show correctly on my computer... the locked DIBIT banner/menu on the left hand side is blocking the view to the forum.  Roll Eyes  (I know you are new, but there are literally 10 posts on the whole forum) ...create some content!

When I go to pancakeswap.finance on your link it immediately pops up with this warning... " Anyone can create a BEP20 token on BSC with any name, including creating fake versions of existing tokens and tokens that claim to represent projects that do not have a token.

If you purchase an arbitrary token, you may be unable to sell it back. "  Roll Eyes
3484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The paradox of Bitcoin adoption on: November 28, 2021, 11:59:40 AM
Merchants don't adopt Bitcoin because their clients don't use it. Clients don't adopt it because merchants don't support it, and people want to have a payment method that can be used anywhere they go. How can this vicious circle be broken? Who will make the first move?

And by adopt I mean adopt for payments, not hodl it as an investment.

The vicious circle will be broken when the governments starts to re-define Bitcoin as a currency and not as a Commodity. Merchants cannot accept Bitcoin legally if their government does not accept it as legal tender. A lot of these merchants are doing this via Payment processors to bypass these restrictions.  Wink

Just have a look at what happened in El Salvador when their government accepted Bitcoin as legal tender.... the Merchants quickly started to accept Bitcoin as a payment option... even the large food chains like Mc Donald and Burger King.  Wink
3485  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible for us to hack some gambling sites? on: November 28, 2021, 10:52:47 AM
It is not impossible to "hack" a casino... but the more popular casinos have check and balances in place to immediately identify "losses" for the casino..so you will not do this for an extended time. What mostly happen is that players find some kind of loophole in the 3rd party games and they exploit it.

I recently informed Stake.com about a loophole that was being abused by highrollers on the game "Mount Magmas" and they immediately disabled the game for review.  (Push Gaming will look into it and then change the code and it will be re-introduced, after it was fixed according to Eddie)  Wink

Most of the "house" balance is stored in cold storage... so a hacker will not get to those funds.  Wink

I think a lot of the younger people might not remember "Zorro" when they play "Zorro - Wild heart" ...because it was a bit before their time. There was several Movies and Series made about him, but the most popular one might be "The Mask of Zorro"... https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120746/ (back in 1998)  Grin

For those who might be interrested.. here is some history about this character ---> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zorro

You might have noticed that the Free Spins are triggered with 3 x Black horses and in most movies this was Zorro's horse named, Tornado!
You will also notice that the whole theme of the Slot is about love.. and Zorro's sweetheart was played by Catherine Zeta-Jones and her name was Elena De la Vega (also known as Elena Montero)  Grin

Thank you Bitcasino  Grin.... you brought me back to some very good old memories... when we still read "Zorro" and "Lone Ranger" books as kids!  Wink
3487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was Bitcoin talked about at your Thanksgiving celebration? on: November 28, 2021, 07:14:13 AM
In my family ..almost everyone are into Crypto currencies..so the go to discussions are always about Bitcoin and what Alt coin is going to "Moon" soon.  Grin  Also, when people had a few drinks.. the discussions can become a little heated at times, because everyone seem to think they are the experts on the subject.  Roll Eyes

The older people seem to think it is all some "Ponzi scheme" and all of us are going to lose money, but they are quietly invested in some coin... with the help from their kids.  Cheesy
3488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Court on: November 27, 2021, 03:17:42 PM
Great idea... with loads of flaws!

1. What law has jurisdiction over all casinos?
2. Who will pay the judges that would preside over these court cases?
3. How will these courts get access to casino data? (bet history / proof of fairness etc?)
4. Some casino operators are anonymous. (Example : Wetsuit - Freebitco.in)
5. What will they be charged with and which countries laws are they breaking?

So, answer me these questions and then we can start talking about the other options that might be more effective. (Review sites/Scam accusation threads on this forum/Consumer protection sites)
3489  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Warning] luckyfish.io is CLOSING on: November 27, 2021, 03:01:17 PM
Well, it looks like their contract expired with their previous software provider, so they will most likely re-open their doors for business after they signed a new contract with a new software provider or if they had someone developing their own software?

Was there are any scam accusations against this casino that I might have missed? Sometimes they close their doors due to scam activities and re-open under a new domain.  Roll Eyes
3490  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-11-27] El Salvador celebrates Black Friday, buys 100 BTC for 20% off on: November 27, 2021, 01:00:34 PM
A new strain of the virus is going to cause more lockdowns all over the world and economies are going to struggle...thus causing less people buying bitcoins.... so the price is supposed to go down during these times. He is hoping that investors will be buying more coins, because they might perceive Bitcoin as a "Store of Value" and a hedge against possible market collapse.  Roll Eyes

Well, buying the dip is always a good idea ... but I doubt that $50 000+ is the real dip. The recovery in my opinion is going to push the Bitcoin price down to between $20 000 and $30 000 and that will be the real dip.  Wink
3491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or hardware wallet ? on: November 27, 2021, 07:13:29 AM
Hardware wallet :

- You are in control of your own Seed. (VERY important)
- You can sign your own Bitcoin address for verification purposes and if you want to put a message on the Blockchain.
- No centralized entity can block your coins.
- No ToS requirements to use your coins. (Most Exchanges do not allow gambling)
- No KYC requirements

Exchanges :

- They control your Seed
- They will in most cases not sign your Bitcoin address, if it is needed for proof of ownership.
- They can block transfers to and from your account (Bitcoin address)
- You are forced to abide by strict Terms of agreements to use their service
- You are forced to link your true identity to your Bitcoin address. (stripping all your financial anonymity and privacy)

Easy decision ..... right.  Wink
3492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saw my 1st 'hybrid' Bitcoin ATM this morning. on: November 26, 2021, 07:59:18 PM
I on the other hand... like the idea ...and I think we need innovation of any kind to push adoption. The cashier, if well trained... will be a asset to Bitcoin adoption and it will even be better if they accepted Bitcoin as a payment option.  Wink

The barrier to entry for Bitcoin adoption in 3rd world countries are education and a educated cashier in a scenario like this, will put bitcoins in the hands of even uneducated people or older people that might struggle with the technology.  Wink
3493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Facts about gambling addiction on: November 26, 2021, 04:33:23 PM
There are also the group that gets addicted to the adrenaline rush you get when you take big risks and it pays off. You can quickly spot them... they make the huge base bets and then go crazy when it hits. (Some of them also Stream with their own money... because it pays for their addiction)  Wink

A lot of people started very small ..... then they get a BIG win and they get a huge adrenaline rush from that.... they will then chase that rush for the rest of their lives. (Many go bankrupt in the process) ... it's all in the brain.
3494  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 26, 2021, 01:21:35 PM
Do you get all these email too frequent for a long period of time or just for a couple of last weeks ? I think this is connected to Black Friday. Once it is over, you will continue to receive "the usual" amount of emails. I've noticed that this and previous weeks I also got way to many emails and sms from gambling sites and online shops. My mobile beeped nearly every hours, while I am registered only on a few gambling sites/shops with this email and phone number.

Nope, I get a promotional email from Roobet almost every day now.... so it is not just over the Black Friday period. I redirect all their emails to a "special" folder, so it is not bothering me at all. I just quickly browse through them now and again... and then delete them.

It might be an issue for people who do not have email filtering or do not know how to do it on their webmail accounts. You can have a throwaway account and still use it for verification for all casino registrations, just make sure you access it regularly.. (I cannot use my work account for gambling .... so I have a webmail for "casino" stuff)  Wink
3495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: government's traditional laws can't handle Gambling+cryptos on: November 26, 2021, 11:14:47 AM
The problem with these "operators" are that they are continuously pushing the boundaries of the laws and their operating licenses and poking for loopholes in the system. A well known casino recently just changed the definition of their "Raffle" to a "Giveaway" and they could continue under their license.  Wink

So the regulators as the watchdog, will have to continuously monitor these sites under their jurisdiction (which they do not do) to make sure that they are operating according to their license and/or applicable laws.  Wink
3496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with the flaunting of irreversibility? on: November 26, 2021, 09:11:01 AM
Well, the way I address a problem like this is usually through a Escrow service, but you do not want to do it that way. (So you obviously have to accept the consequences of that decision) Now on the other hand... using Escrow services for small purchases defeats the purpose of using Bitcoin to save money on fees, because it inflates the price of the whole purchase.

I normally do a test run with the cheapest product or service to "test" the merchant/retailer and then scale up my purchases if I am happy with their service. Obviously you cannot do this for all purchases, but it helps me to "validate" if these merchants are worth supporting.  Wink

Also, the "irreversibility" advantage is advantageous for the seller and not for the buyer, because the sellers are being scammed by reversed transactions ..after they provided the service or product.  Wink

4X Reward Points (RP) promotion is LIVE and ends in 48 hours.

Redeem your RP on the Rewards page for iPhones, Hardware Wallets, Gift Cards, Free BTC, and much more...

Can someone please post any of these devices or gift cards that you received for your reward points? I have not seen a single person boasting on this forum or bragging with their "reward" that they have received from Stake.  Roll Eyes

I am not saying that it is a scam, but I would have thought someone would have shown some sort of appreciation towards Freebitco.in for some reward that they had received.  Roll Eyes  (Can you post the proof that it was send to you from Freebitco.in... do not just post the reward)

Well, Thanks to this slot..... "Black Wolf Hold and Win" I have managed to crawl out of a hole and back to playing like a King!  ....None of my favorite Slots have been paying these last couple of days and I have been chasing my losses... and digging my hole deeper and deeper. (Then this Wolf... literally gave me a BOOST! to recover some of my losses)

It is just a great feeling when you get the BOOST with 7 moons ....and then you get the feature right after that and you round it off with 3 jackpot wins...(small ones.... but still a good experience)  Grin Grin Grin

I am still chasing the full screen Moons to win the Grand Jackpot.... but it gave me enough moolah to play longer.  Wink

3499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Governments planning a Crypto Crackdown? on: November 25, 2021, 05:24:21 PM
Governments have been cracking down on Crypto currencies since New York introduced the BitLicense back in 2014. They just have to have control over everything people do and what they own, so this will never stop. We have seen the totalitarian tendencies from the so-called democratic governments during the Covid epidemic, like Australia and the USA... and this is just going to get worst.  Angry

So, when governments say they care about the people and they want to protect them, then you should be worried. They will start using scare tactics like "Bitcoin is used to fund terrorism and/or Crypto currencies are linked to Child pornography etc.." to get an excuse to ban it or to over regulate it.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
3500  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think does this Cities have that we dont? on: November 25, 2021, 01:07:43 PM
Well, from the point of view of New York.... let's just look at what happened with them in the early days of Bitcoin, namely :

Benjamin Lawsky wanted to profit from Bitcoin, by creating the most complex business license for virtual currency activities in the world (called BitLicense) and this was developed and implemented back in July of 2014. He was the Superintendent of Financial Services back then, but he knew he could make big profits by charging people to "assist" them as a consultant to adhere to all the "red tape" that was required to get that license.

So, he single handily f#%#cked the New Yorkers in the early days and created a huge barrier to entry for Crypto businesses to flourish. The bureaucracy and politics in these cities.... killed their innovation and paused their progress as a Crypto currency hub.  Angry Angry Angry
