3481  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: crypto communities on Discord on: October 04, 2022, 10:53:45 PM
I join only groups which I have interest on the projects promoted and when I think they are promising. Mostly blockchain games, so I can report bugs, ask questions and hints about the game.

Regards pump and dump groups I don't think they are worthful. You are probably going to be bombarded with tons of useless spam posts all day long. Besides bots accounts which will spot your nickname and send you a lot of useless or scam direct messages.

I believe meaningful informations don't come to you, but you have to go after them. That is, you are better to search for informations and news on google, instead of waiting they come to you through discord groups and DMs.
3482  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does anyone think it will be much harder to buy bitcoin later on down the road? on: October 03, 2022, 11:38:18 PM
Nothing will change, except by regulations which might make the whole process more difficult, but it has nothing to do with bitcoin being more or less expensive, anyway. You can access a plethora of exchanges and acquire small amount of btc like 1$, depending the platform. Of course you are going to get only few satoshis with that purchase, once bitcoin skyrockets to superior price levels, but that will still be possible, because exchanges don't want to lose their customers and especially potential adopters who start buying bitcoin in small chunks as experiment.
3483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin should I invest in other than bitcoin? on: October 03, 2022, 11:14:02 PM
Safest bets are ethereum and binance coin. Ethereum because it's the most popular chain used by tokens' developers to launch their projects with several years of positive reputation on the market (besides the expensive transactions' fees). Binance coin because it's attached to the biggest crypto exchange of the world, with its own chain as well, inspiring trust among investors, even though some criticize for being a centralized cryptocurrency because it's related to a centralized crypto service (exchange). You can also invest in other altcoins appearing on the top of crypto ranking, but it's riskier in my opinion, as we don't know if they will keep their currently marketcap position in the coming years.
3484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think this is gambling? [Collectibles & Gambling] on: October 03, 2022, 11:05:24 PM
Do you consider doing this a form of gambling?
Would you dare to do the same thing for the sake of earning money or do you think it would be a bad idea?
I think so, because it's a game of luck. There can be rare cards inside the boxes, but you never know until opening them. So you have to be lucky in order to purchase the right boxes where the valuable cards will be stored. If you are unlucky you will get boxes with common cards, which may end leading you to losses when comparing the price you paid for the box and the value of the cards inside it.

I personally think it would be a bad idea since the chances of pulling out a good card is fairly small, one needs to really like the game/cards in order to open an unsealed box of such value.
Like in gambling, if you are lucky enough you can win thousands of dollars opening those boxes. I have heard stories of people who did pretty well doing this and made successful auctions right after with the rare collectibles.
3485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling, tourism and legal gambling age for gamblers around the world. on: October 03, 2022, 06:37:36 PM
In my country the only official and allowed gambling category is the lottery which pays huge prizes, although it's almost impossible to win. Besides some lottery draws, scratch tickets are also allowed.

Theoreticallyyou have to be at least 18 years old in order to play, but I know underage teenagers who go to the lottery and buy their tickets without any restrictions. Maybe that is due to the informality of our daily life.

Good news is that there isn't a particular legislation for online gambling, so it is still possible to play virtual casinos without any issues with authorities.
3486  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Will be the Bottom of Bitcoin till 2025? on: October 03, 2022, 04:28:37 PM
The bottom by that date is still unknown, but I believe we shall see it by next year. From the middle or end of 2023 things will start improving again in cryptocurrency. The more we reach close to 2024 and 2025, the more it's likely a new bull run begins, because it's bitcoin halving time and historically it has always been a very positive momentum for btc and its loyal investors.
3487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this statiscally possible in a lottery? on: October 02, 2022, 07:41:05 PM
I suppose the winners of this draw were even more lucky than the winners from previous draws, because it's indeed an unique result we don't see frequently. We can't say it was rigged, though, as the possibility of having that result is possible by the rules of the lottery. Moreover, I believe if the game was to be rigged the result would be something less evident, involving random numbers instead of a pattern.

Anyway, you as a gambler, has always the option to bet on another lotteries if you think this one is looking suspicious to you. There are many alternatives on the internet, especially in crypto universe for gamblers who enjoy lottery draws. So you can definitely go for it next time!
3488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing and the casino business. on: October 02, 2022, 06:53:18 PM
Oh, yes, thanks for mentioning these ones, although I haven't heard positive feedbacks from the profitability point of view about these casinos. If I remember correctly someone who invested in Bitvest had his investment pretty negative (in LTC currency I think), while Bustadice didn't show expressive results too. To make this kind of investment worth I believe the casino has to be very active and popular, otherwise it will be a risky deal, since few gamblers can come in, win a big prize, go away and there won't be many customers/gamblers to cover the loss the casino and investors had. Then you might have your money stuck there for a long time just to recover the same amount your deposited initially.

And as you said, there is also this cashout fee rule which discourages the investment a little more...
I see, I understand your point, it is not so good to invest in casino right? maybe I will be just a player not an investor, I realize that you are right, what if the casino can no longer sustain the big amount of money to winners? not all casinos get huge number of players consistently everyday. To be a player is risky enough for me, I will just stay as a player so that I can go to another casinos if you want.
Yes. It's a must to check casino's traffic and how much gamblers are wagering on a daily basis before starting the investment. Some examples of good casinos to invest before, but no longer available were YoloDice and Crypto Games. Those were decently profitable (at least when investing bitcoin, although I'm not so sure about altcoins, because their results used to be much more unstable and inconsistent).
3489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing and the casino business. on: October 02, 2022, 05:04:30 PM
That is why crypto casinos bankroll investments were so good for common investors like us. You could benefit from the profit made by casinos, while investing any amounts of money without any difficult or bureaucracy. Just by signing up on crypto casinos you had access to this feature already.

However, now casinos are self-sustainable and don't want borrowed funds from investors anymore.
AFAIK Bustadice and Bitvest are two reputable casinos in this forum that still offer bankroll investment, so if you really want to invest you can choose those casinos. Although it sound investing in casinos are very profitable since the house always win, but they have a rules about withdraw fees where you want to withdraw your money from the bankroll investment. It depends on each casinos, just like Bustadice who ask 2% of the total investment.

If you didn't hold for long and withdraw your investment before it reach at least 2% profit, you'll loss.

3490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Gambling Site has a Short Signature Campaign on: October 02, 2022, 04:54:25 PM
Even during the bull market signature campaigns were already scarce, limited and restricted. Maybe recently the competition just got more fierce due to the weak market's conditions, but without any doubts that is a existing problem since a long time ago. Moreover it's a demand and supply issue like in any other niche of jobs' market. Each new day more people get aware about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, being lead to this forum, so they discover signature campaigns and want to join them for extra income, while at same time the supply of new campaigns don't grow on the same proportion, therefore there aren't spots for everyone.

In general, people are facing similar situations on every fields they try to look for a job. That is the proof of disorganized and irresponsible population growth impacting daily life. There are too many people in the world for few jobs' spots. The ones who are able to get those spots are fine, but for the rest there is only misery and pain.
3491  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency is silent why? on: October 01, 2022, 09:55:36 PM
The market is silent because the money is flying to somewhere else outside crypto universe. In every markets money talks and makes all the noise. Without money the market becomes silent and that is exactly what is happening at this moment. In order to revert the scenario crypto has to become attractive to investors again and sometimes there isn't anything we can do about it besides waiting, because it is a matter of perfect timing: that is, another sectors of finances and economy have to fail, so crypto can shine again.
3492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: determine a good project on: October 01, 2022, 06:03:20 PM
Bearish market is a good season to stake cryptovurrencies for profit, while swaping this profit into bitcoin (since it is cheap) aiming long term gains. This way you will be earning lots of satoshis of bitcoin which will invrease considerably in price once btc rises again towards the next bullish season.

So you don't only hold altcoins expecting they get more value, but use your altcoins to generate btc profit through staking programs.
3493  Economy / Economics / Re: Currencies are Collapsing Everywhere. on: October 01, 2022, 04:28:26 PM
Central banks can do anything they want, but nothing is going change the fact fiat currencies will colapse at some point, because their system has been unsustainable since the beginning.

CBDCs can be introduced, but they mean nothing different from fiat. In fact it is just a digital crypto version of fiat currencies which will remain centralized and devalued by inflation. I believe the reason central banks are going for CBDC is because it will be easier to track and control citizens' funds. It's an efficient tool against money evasion.
3494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you stake stablecoins now? on: October 01, 2022, 03:19:17 AM
When staking stable coins you must keep in mind your money isn't really growing, because your purchasing power is decreasing due to inflation much more than the APY they are paying you. Let's say you earn 10% yearly on your stable coins through Binance or any other platform, while the prices of the products at the supermarket are increasing much more than 10% on that same time period. In the end it doesn't worth to expect return over your stable coins. Better to invest in bitcoin and main altcoins expecting some nice returns in few years, while also earning interest over them if you wish.
3495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen If Bitcoin got stabled ? on: October 01, 2022, 12:37:55 AM
If Bitcoin got stable there will be no huge inflection. This will stable almost all coins. And there will be no huge up and down. All the top coins will not depend on Bitcoin.
Whenever Bitcoin got stabled, All the market will be stable in a result of that.
Question is that how Bitcoin can be stable?  If it got stabled what will happen?
Until now, bitcoin has not been stable and I can't imagine what it would be like if the price of bitcoin were stable. But there is a possibility that the altcoins will move their respective ways and it might look like the stock market or something and bitcoin will still be the leader in crypto.

Maybe bitcoin will become like gold, where with a stable price, people will try to get more bitcoins from trading altcoins with fiat or with others. What is clear is that bitcoin is not yet at that stage and will continue to move as it is today for several years. But I don't know. Maybe I'm giving the wrong example because we've never experienced it and can only guess.
Maybe if that happened we would see bitcoin being more used as currency instead of solely investment and speculative asset for trading. A stable bitcoin could help adoption increasing, because people wouldn't fear it anymore like they fear today due to the volatility. On the other hand, besides the pros, there could be also cons, as bitcoin would lose its profitability potential for new investors, so people looking for profit would have to adopt altcoins instead.
3496  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is Faucetpay paying bigger withdrawals? on: October 01, 2022, 12:18:24 AM
I think I've seen them before but I have never used them. I guess they have started as a faucet then eventually added all of those features that they have which has included casino games and some tasks walls.

It's like that they've got almost every feature and before you proceed OP, you've got that much feedback from everyone so merge all of it and think if you're going to trust them.
Actually they are a micro payment system which was supposed to receive every few satoshis you claim from faucets instantly, so you could hold all your micro earnings there until gathering a decent amount in order to cashout to any wallet of your wish paying a single fee. However, as faucets don't pay instantly to micro payment wallets anymore and force users to reach insane thresholds inside each faucet, faucetpay has somehow lost its purpose, so they had to be creative in order to remain attractive and that is why I think they introduced offer walls, gambling games and special prizes for biggest wagers.
3497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More reasons why it will always be Bitcoin for me on: September 30, 2022, 05:39:51 PM
The only problem is that by holding only bitcoin and by not using banks (centralized) services you are going to be under risk of severe volatility which can push your holdings' value downside for unlimited time period.

Even being your own bank and having your funds under your control the whole time, it still doesn't look efficient if you can lose 50% of that value in a day due to market's fluctuations.

For that reason I believe it would be better to avoid any means of currency, going for properties instead, whichis still the most solid category of investment and reliable method to store value.
3498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing and the casino business. on: September 30, 2022, 03:45:50 PM
It's definitely a smart idea to invest on casinos' stocks, but I don't even know from where to start or if it's possible for me living outside the countries where those casinos are based and living in a country where gambling is forbidden.

That is why crypto casinos bankroll investments were so good for common investors like us. You could benefit from the profit made by casinos, while investing any amounts of money without any difficult or bureaucracy. Just by signing up on crypto casinos you had access to this feature already.

3499  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is Faucetpay paying bigger withdrawals? on: September 29, 2022, 09:14:03 PM
Theoretically it's legit and paying correctly for years already, but this is the kind of thing we don't have any guarantee because we don't know the winners. They can be legit real users or they can be bots/multi accounts of the platform itself. Personally I prefer to not pursue such goals, because I fear manipulation, leading me to only lose money wagering for nothing in the end. Moreover there is always going to be someone with more ammo (money) than you to spend towards the top positions. It's a risky achievement to try.

And here I'm not talking only about faucetpay exclusively, but about every gambling platforms' rankings spreadsheets as a whole.
3500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Parents And Their Children In Gambling.. on: September 29, 2022, 07:01:01 PM
That is why examples from parents are important in childrens' lives, because a parent is a mirror for his/her children. All the actions and behaviors a kid observes from his parents at home daily he is going to reproduce later when he grows up, especially if it's an example of success. In this situation, the son saw the father wasting money irresponsibly and without limits for many years, what didn't impact them financially negatively anyway, because they are wealthy. So, when he grew up, he did the same. But if this young had received an example of responsability and austerity from his father, he wouldn't waste 50,000$ like that in a single night of racket.
