3481  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S17 Pro Issues on: January 30, 2022, 11:11:03 PM
Would you mind switching it back to stock firmware the above logs are from BraiinsOS if you can switch it back to the original firmware and run it again maybe the temp issue will show up?
And then post the kernel logs here because I'm a bit confused about the logs from BraiinsOS compared to the original firmware.

Also, I think BraiinsOS still detecting those temp you can only disable it if configure your miner to disable temperature sensor scanning(--no-sensor-scan).
I don't know how to apply it on s17 but try to post on this thread below then ask how to disable the temp sensor scanning.

But if you are looking for someone who can repair this issue then check https://www.zeusbtc.com/Repair.asp ask them if they have a repair shop near your area.
3482  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S19 Water/Snow Intake Damage on: January 30, 2022, 03:55:45 PM
Check those two hashboard not showing on the dashboard physically and maybe there are corrosion and rust after you dried them.

Also, if you want us to troubleshoot it for you then post the whole kernel logs here, and don't forget to put it inside the code tag(a # button you can find this while editing your post).

But if you decided to hire a tech contact zeusbtc.com for help.
3483  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for a reputable online marketplace that sell highend items for bitcoin on: January 30, 2022, 03:44:21 PM
Also taking note that I've heard a couple of complaints about Purse.io in the past concerning fake products being bought/delivered or something.

Well, purse.io is a drop shipper they don't have any physical product. Customer/buyers are the ones responsible for giving the URL product. And also if you didn't receive the exact product you can submit a dispute to get a refund/replacement.
3484  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: any real mining shop? just got slammed on: January 29, 2022, 11:56:28 PM
What do you mean is very hard to find in stock from the manufacturer?

You just didn't check the website directly on the site shop they also have newborn units, you just jumping without checking them unless if you're looking for cheap low-end units or used units?

If you keep looking for unknown or non trusted mining shop you will scam again.
3485  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: How to set up solo mining with asic on: January 29, 2022, 11:45:55 PM
What is the config for kano?

The config is already their first page just point it directly to kano.is and put your worker and pass but make sure to switch your account to solo mining.

And follow this guide below how to switch your account to solo mining.

If you don't want to create an account you can try this one https://solo.ckpool.org/ you just configure your miner and put your BTC address under worker and x is as your pass.
3486  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S9J Hashboard not showed up on: January 29, 2022, 11:37:03 PM
If you already did all basic things then you have a defective/broken hashboard find the Chain[7] remove it temporarily and then let the miner run only two hashboard and let's see if it will run stable.

If the issue is still the same there might be an issue on the control board if not and it's running stable the Chain[7] is broken somewhere on the hashboard.

How did you manage to test the hashboard resistance? Do you have a diagram because there are some test points from the hashboard and a free diagram from ZeusBTC that you can follow? Follow the repair guide here https://www.zeusbtc.com/articles/information/171-antminer-s9-and-s9i-manual-download
3487  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for a reputable online marketplace that sell highend items for bitcoin on: January 29, 2022, 11:23:42 PM
Never heard about the premier marketplace but it seems that Rolex as your sample is a physical product?

If I'm right why not buy on Purse.io where you can buy Amazon products they have a 15% discount that accepts both Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.

Follow the guide below on how to buy Amazon products with purse.io

3488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: True Value of BTC on: January 28, 2022, 11:59:23 PM
Actually, it won't get any value if there is no supply and demand traders and exchange is who decides how much the price of Bitcoin. There is no fixed price for Bitcoin.

If you talk about mining costs it depends on your Electricity rate and difficulty and the buyers if how much they want to buy your BTC.
You can't just calculate it without the price of BTC that is why there is exchange supply and demand who decide what will be the price of BTC.
3489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else with BTC stuck in Paypal? on: January 28, 2022, 11:33:14 PM
No more updates about their plan to add the Bitcoin withdrawal option on Paypal even on Twitter I never heard any news.

Maybe they are going to add a withdrawal option for Bitcoin in the next blockhalving year 2024.

For now, they keep Paypal users safe and I think that's the only way they know to protect people from hackers and scammer that is why they still didn't add the withdrawal option for Bitcoin. There is no problem with having BTC on Paypal if your plan is to hold BTC then Paypal is a good place where you can exchange them back to USD once the price is high. The only problem is you didn't actually own that BTC because you don't have any backup keys or private keys.
3490  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: any miners from india? on: January 28, 2022, 11:04:47 PM
Your electricity costs are still high with that budget you can't buy any brand-new miner unless if you are planning to buy a refurbished or 2nd hand miner?

If you want to find a miner that is still profitable with that budget then try to contact offordscott
You can also try to check this https://www.zeusbtc.com/ASIC-Miner-Repair/ then try to ask them for the price and stocks. It seems that s17 pro or s17+ is the only option you can buy for that budget.
3491  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: any real mining shop? just got slammed on: January 28, 2022, 10:49:32 PM
I never heard about that website where you've been scammed.

Why don't you buy directly from manufacturers instead of buying on an untrusted 3rd party?

Anyway, you can check this list https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5045732.0

Also, try to contact him offordscott or zeusbtc.com
3492  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory Stuck at "Preparing Databases" / Offline mode on: January 28, 2022, 02:14:32 PM
What exactly do you want to do with your Armory wallet?
If you want an offline mode wallet then you can just directly use them without Bitcoin core and internet there is two option when you are going to open the armory wallet look at the image below as a reference.

As you can see there is Armory and Armory(offline) and other two testnet and uninstall you can choose Armory(offline) if you want to create a wallet with offline mode.
Or if you want to use it online choose the Armory icon only and to fully use the function of this wallet you will need to install Bitcoin core and wait to fully sync just like the above suggestion you must disable the pruned mode on Bitcoin core.
3493  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking to install crypto related mobile apps in my laptop. on: January 28, 2022, 01:45:18 PM
So you are looking for any open-source Android emulator/simulator?
How about Android OS that you can run through dual boot?

I search a bit for open-source Android emulators for windows but most of them are closed source. I found Android OS which is open-source and I think this is what you looking and you can review it on your own.

Check this link https://blissos.org/index.html#documentation you can find all open-source links at the bottom of that page.
3494  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S9J Hashboard not showed up on: January 28, 2022, 12:58:38 PM
Have you tried to upgrade the miner with the latest firmware available from Bitmain support? If not, try it first

If the result is still the same then try to flash it through an SD card you can find the SD card firmware here and then test it again.

Have also tried to swap the data/ribbon cable between the good one hashboard and the bad hashboard?
It might be just a ribbon/data cable that do not work properly replacing them might solve your case.
3495  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S5 SD access? on: January 27, 2022, 11:56:18 PM
Is that the miner with a Beaglebone board? it should have an SD card slot inside what I heard before is that you need to reimage the Beaglebone board in order to do that you will need the SD card firmware from Bitmain which is still available on their download page.

Here's the direct link https://file12.bitmain.com/shop-product/firmware/Tools%20and%20Instructions%20to%20Image%20SD%20card.zip

The tools and the firmware is already on that file just extract them you will need an SD card reader to burn the img file to your SD card use the diskimager to burn it to your SD card.

You can follow the guide here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1512744.msg15218516#msg15218516
It's s7 but the guide should be also working on s5 after you flash it and upgrade it through WebGUI with the latest firmware available on Bitmain.
3496  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Requesting help with lost unconfirmed transaction on: January 27, 2022, 11:39:08 PM
If you believe that you deleted the unconfirmed transaction then why not follow the jackg suggestion above?

Make a new wallet and restore your wallet with a backup seed phrase to resync all of your transaction histories it should show up after you restore it.
If not then HCP is right and maybe you generated a request payment and then you just deleted it.

Do you remember exactly the address that you expected to receive BTC? The BTC address that you sent to someone to receive BTC?

If yes then you can directly check them through block explorer like blockchain.com or blockchair.com
3497  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Problems with avalon 1166 pro 81th on: January 27, 2022, 10:58:01 PM
Now I see the problem is it's overheating based on this TMax[94] it shouldn't above 85c and look at the BOOTBY[0x02.00000000] according to log description it's overheating.
Are you mining without exhausting the hot air from the room?

How do you manage to increase the fan speed?

If you are sending a command on the FMS tool to increase fan speed don't restart or reboot the miner because it's not permanent it will revert back to default every time the miner restart.

Adding these logs:
Code:
PVT_T0[ 22 26 27 25 25 20 22 24 25 27 22 24 22 22 28 28 24 22 28 23 30 28 24 23 22 23 30 29 27 26 25 23 24 28 24 23 24 24 21 24 24 25 25 27 20 24 28 24 22 22 18 20 21 20 18 22 21 25 24 22 25 23 25 18 18 22 14 21 20 23 24 24 21 23 19 23 21 23 23 26 15 21 21 22 20 21 22 21 22 24 21 19 25 21 23 25 23 20 23 23 17 25 22 25 21 22 21 21 88 93 87 87 87 91 94 90 83 82 92 91

You have 12 ASIC chips with abnormal temp and I think there are shorted parts near these chips or it could be broken chips.

You can try contact zeusBTC.com for repair.
3498  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: [b] Avalon 851 pmu change problems [b] on: January 27, 2022, 10:45:28 PM
Can you access the miner through the browser with your miner's IP?
If you can then go to the advanced version and look for CGMiner API Log and paste it here but make sure to post it inside the code tag(a # sharp button) so that we can easily read your API logs.

Also, I would like to suggest you follow the guide on how to troubleshoot this unit from this thread below

3499  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Problems with avalon 1166 pro 81th on: January 27, 2022, 04:49:24 PM
The logs seem normal I couldn't sense any issue except on these logs.

Code:
MH[489 446 359] HW[1294] DH[4.012%]

Which is beyond the recommended value based on the Canaan log description. There might be some issue in your hashboard but I do recommend you to try first replugging all cables including the ribbon/data cable and also upgrade it to the latest firmware.
You can download the firmware here https://download.canaan-creative.com/

Then update here.
3500  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking to install crypto related mobile apps in my laptop. on: January 27, 2022, 04:18:59 PM
I have tried to search about Bluestack after being suggested in the above comments, and it seems that it doesn't work properly in all operating systems due to performance issues.

If you are using a PC with onboard graphics the performance is very slow and you will always experience some lags and crashes unless you have a graphics card.

You can also try to adjust the settings to performance mode and if you have a graphics card installed make sure to change the settings to dedicated GPU it will give more boost to performance and far from crashes.
