3481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: December 21, 2016, 04:15:41 PM
Here's how you can do it.

You'll use whatever I tell you to or else. Now stop you're whining, go to your room and check your bitcoin-qt balance.

Nah. I won't do such thing and that kind of explanation to children won't really work most of the time because of the fear that you gave to them and it'd better to explain it on a calm and precise way on which their minds could easily understand because there's no tension involved compared to those harsh actions shown in the picture.
3482  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card top 6 on google search 2016 on: December 21, 2016, 04:06:25 PM
Op, you know that google search result are highly personalized and when someone else will try to repeat your search he/she most likely receive totally different results?
I tried to search for bitcoin debit card and I got different results as well:

1. Cryptopay.me | Bitcoin Debit Card
2. BitPay Card – Visa® Prepaid Debit
3. bitplastic.com
4. 4 Best Bitcoin Debit Cards - WeUseCoins
5. 2016 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews - Bitcointalk.org etc.

You see the pattern...
I've try to Google search too and it gave me the same pattern as yours which really differentiates from op's post.well,i don't mind though and would like to thanks regarding on this post since I do really have a plan on which card should I choose.
3483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your pain and problems in the bitcoin world on: December 21, 2016, 03:52:28 PM
My biggest problem and pain regarding on bitcoin is on how to earn it easily and could make decent money on it :)this is the thing that I face but regarding to bitcoin itself I don't have any problems since it really benefits me regarding on money transfer and online transactions.
3484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: somone steal btc from my wallet on: December 21, 2016, 03:18:09 PM
you are right a really big question why the thief didn't send all of his bitcoin to his wallet if he has an access to his wallet. I think it because he she in needs and need that amount of money and didnt get all of his bitcoin or the problem is you do give your credential to others and you forgot thet you give it because they need that qmout of bitcoin

There is something very strange about the situation, because it seems the OP did already send some coins to that address previously.. so he should probably know the thief (if there is any). Huh
⬇⬇⬇

This sounds a little strange.
From all I can see, the 0.01btc were nearly the complete balance op had in his wallet.
Who would want to hack a wallet for not even 8 dollar?
Besides: on october 24th, there was alreay a transaction from the wallet op has to the one the funds went today.
If op knows to whom he sent the money that time, he would have his thief.
I agree. This is really strange.
This address received .01, on Dec 20, 1bMbxGMqzeDdC9yBz9Sj3Rofb2ghcTfRt from
this one 1EcexGSNJGqYSsVxwaZ6Q5UrreWrDHLK8d(OP's) but looking at the transaction history, OP has previously sent coins to this address Oct 24? What's up with that?

Anyway, if this is real, just clean your PC, change your passwords and switch to a desktop wallet like Electrum.(with 2fa)

It is really strange since he have already transacted to this address before and also you have a point if op does have a balance on his wallet why the thief didn't transfer all the bitcoin inside his wallet or maybe someone knows his wallet previously and maybe it's just a close friend or relative.
3485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: December 21, 2016, 03:01:49 PM
It will never kill the income tax or any other service of the governments if the governments legalize bitcoin for their affairs and provide different facilities for the usage of bitcoin in the state especially the states need to start their own wallets so they will perform their duties for the currency of bitcoin and they have to allow banks to use bitcoins.

Apparently, that's not going to happen. The government will not start legalizing bitcoins. Simply talking about bitcoins would expose it to the public and that's something that the government don't want to happen. When that happens, people would know the truth that you can avoid paying all these expenses issued by the government. Most people don't want to pay income tax since it takes a huge percent of your income and there's 12% VAT in literally everything that we buy.

I think people would start accepting bitcoins because a lot of people are looking for it and not because the government said so.
Yeah nowadays people are searching for the ways where they have not to pay the taxes etc especially in the third world countries where the government do not spend these income on their public but on their ministers and for their luxurious life. But if the governments got a time to research about bitcoin and if they found a way for working with bitcoin then they will readily adopt bitcoin.

Most people who live on 3rd world countries would really find a way to evade tax because the already know that their government is corrupt and doesn't imply or use the tax on the right way and I do agree on what to have said they will just use it for themselves and also if they found out about bitcoin they will surely ignore or block it because of the threat regarding tax evasion.
3486  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you always missed the right time to sell/buy bitcoin? on: December 21, 2016, 02:42:19 PM
There are persons that may have been unlucky with the timing, but I have found that most people that miss the timing are those that do day trading, those that buy and sell their bitcoins on a daily basis, those that just buy and hold for months are able to ride the wave and to have profits.
to me i think no one can be perfect, i think every one must have missed the right time to buy or sell. i my self missed the right time for so many times, but still i am happy with my decisions as i have made so many bitcoins from trading while buying and selling on right time.
Trading can't really be perfect and that's what it makes difficult and you are right all of traders do experience to miss the right time to get in and get out because prices are really unpredictable on trading.even though we missed sometimes atleast we could able to handle it.
3487  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Nicehash getting caught in my Antivirus on: December 21, 2016, 02:28:07 PM
Well many antivirus do think Bitcoin (and altcoin) mining software as Trojans, as there're hackers installing these on their victim's computer and mined coins for free (at the victim's electricity expenses).

For your case, you'll have to whitelist the mining software on your antivirus software. However CPU mining is not profitable as of now, unless you found an altcoin which have low difficulty and low hashrate, and a good exchange rate (if such coin exists, many individuals will mine it and driving up the difficulty). Do this only for entertainment purpose, nothing else.

This is the commendable way on which the thing yo should do now is whitelist the exe so that Antivirus won't block or delete it since you downloaded it from their site then it's a legit software and there are really times that av do false cautions which other member said above. Cpu mining isn't already profitable I guess. Gpu would be still possible.
3488  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ebay/Paypal's ridiculous fees on: December 21, 2016, 01:32:18 PM
Even with their big fees the most good deals just show up at ebay, we dont have a similiar platafform working with bitcoin, and if we had we would still have a problem, we would need some escrow service to act between buyer and seller, because the product might be damaged and the buyer will ask for a refund. At the next 10 years i believe they will reduce those fees, otherwise crypto world may get their business.

I don't think that the next 10 years they will reduce fees because of the inflation as well as the cost of living is increasing yearly. Instead of saying that ebay/paypal will have a reduction for the fees they've got, they will probably improve their service and that will be charged to their consumers, including me and you.
They wont really do that thing and you are right instead of reducing their fee they will eventually do the opposite which is increasing more and we cant really do anything about it since people would still use their service and you are right the standards of living will increase as the years goes by and in just commonsense they would rise up too thats why ive choose bitcoin over paypal because of this matter.
High fee of paypal or ebay wont really change and the thing you said is very true thats why having bitcoin is really a big privilege for us to use it with less fees compared to paypal and regarding on money transfer it is somehow fast but irreversible but doesnt matter at all. I hope that there are many online stores will accept bitcoin as a payment in the future.

And it is also possible that these companies will accept bitcoin soon. Since people will look for some other options to make them save a lot of money with the same services, I'm sure that they are keeping an eye for adoption of bitcoin. They might not doing it now but that is also a possible thing in the future when their sales are cut down to half.

If the bitcoin price rises to certain level, they will adopt it.
Iny my own view i dont think that ebay and paypal would adopt bitcoin even if it reaches on a higher price since they saw bitcoin as an competition on their service.
They wont accept bitcoin as part on their company because if they do that revenue would really be lessen since they could not impose taxes on it.
3489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantages of bitcoin on: December 21, 2016, 12:55:08 PM
The most important advantage of bitcoin to me is that I can now earn bitcoin from available tasks on internet before bitcoin it was hard for me because paypal is not available in my country and I was unable to earn money from those sites. There were some sites on internet which were using different payment processors but they were much lesser in number.
Earning oppotunities on bitcoin is one of the most advantages of it on which some people do really benefit out of it and i could see some that they are relying their daily lives on earning bitcoin and could able to sustain their lives because of it.Not only that since bitcoin is being created mainly for online payment for peer to peer system without any 3rd party involved.
3490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Price Is At Lowest Point, It Is Time To Buy And Later Sale - Make Profit on: December 21, 2016, 12:40:51 PM
the key is always to buy at the bottom before the reversal. and finding that bottom is hard and it is impossible with altcoins because of the manipulations.

because of this nobody can tell you if you are right or wrong. yes price has fallen, but we don't know if it is the bottom or the "lowest point" because it may still go down.
This is the hardest part on doing trading because we dont know on which point would be the lowest price and emotions and decision would really be affected. The best time to buy ETH should really be at the lowest but our mind tell us if we buy now it may down its price even more and thats the time emotion would really bothers us.
3491  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reached $800! on: December 21, 2016, 11:31:58 AM
Im really glad that bitcoin price reached $800 price now and its still rising upto now and even its already on $814 -816. I dont have any idea on the exact reason why bitcoins price suddenly achieved this milestone in no time and even theres a possibility that could able to reach $900/btc if this movement will continue.
3492  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: December 21, 2016, 11:11:13 AM
It is impossible, bitcoin can not be controlled by anyone because of their very nature anonymous. Believe me, the price is natural and the bitcoin can't manipulation by anyone, because the price is formed from the requests and needs.

No, it can be manipulated by many groups or people who are holding a lot of bitcoins. Maybe you doesn't know what a whale can do to the price of bitcoin. If you know what happened with bitfinex hacking incident, that made the price of bitcoin fall rapidly. And I can say that is what whales can do, they can manipulate the price of bitcoin.

lol bitfinex hack had nothing to do with manipulation and/or whales!
it is the clear example that there are too many newbies in the bitcoin and they easily panic. the whales involvement in that incident was those buy walls you saw down at $500 and those pockets that was filled with super cheap coins were whales pockets.
also if you look at the orderbooks they are still thin compared to other markets like gold or forex that is why drops like that still can happen.
Bitfinex is definitely and absolutely an incident and hacking activities can't manipulate the current price unless the hacking are happen at the same time and in majority of exchanger. but if those hackers were just stealing the bitcoins then there might no affect to the current price.whales could manipulate the price of bitcoin only if they're really rich that could buy or sell many bitcoin because owning majority of bitcoin in the markets
Bitfinex incident is not intentional that we could able to say that it is a pure manipulation. It does really affect the bitcoins price since the bitcoin have been stolen is on huge amounts which could really affect the price when hacker sold those bitcoin.Whales could really affect the price of bitcoin but i dont think that it could manipulate bitcoin price anytime.
3493  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is Mining profitable? on: December 21, 2016, 10:59:13 AM
Yes of course it is still profitable, the price of the bitcoin continues to rise. This is one of the factors that is most flattering if we are mining. Electricity cost is the biggest problem for me, but we can use alternative energy such as solar energy. I try use solar energy, but the price is too expensive. Only hope the price reach $800 and now $790, and I will start for mining with S7.
Setting up solar panels would really do but the price would really make roi too longer and as you said electricity would really be a big factor if we tend to mine bitcoin $500 would be enough to buy an s7 asic miner but i think profits would be hard and difficulty is rising and we should think that even mining on s9 miners could still hardly gain profits how about more on s7.
3494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: December 21, 2016, 10:48:46 AM
If no one spends bitcoins at all then the price of bitcoins will rise a lot .well thats not gonna happen near soon as people reply on bitcoins a lot for their daily uses and people who want to be rich a lot in the future wil not be using bitcoins.
I dont think soo that the price will rise up if no one spends bitcoin since there no activity on bitcoins ecosystem and also this thing would possible if the demand would arise and the supply would froze then thats the time that price will increase too.Bitcoin could possibly make us rich and it depend on how much we do have it.
3495  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is investing in mining still worth it? on: December 20, 2016, 03:59:07 PM
Mining is still worth it but the fact is that you should indeed not doing it anymore for the bitcoin itself its just not profitable anymore with it, for altcoins its pretty profitable if you are having some good mining equipment.
You are right and now i really consider that thing regarding on mining nowadays i think mining altcoin would be the best alternative and i dont have any interest on bitcoin mining anymore since the difficulty is already high to consider even how good the miner you have.Investing on cloudmining is risky.
3496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: December 20, 2016, 03:42:50 PM
They are afraid that people on a certain country will fully switch to bitcoin and with that thing happen problem will arise regarding on implementing tax and thats the time the government will have a very big problem because most people do already have the control on their money unlike on banks which is regulated by the government.
3497  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we start new year in $800+ or remain in $700+ on: December 20, 2016, 03:36:04 PM
Hitting $800 will definitely be good for us. But while at hit investments to eth and the rest may also not profitable to which i'm also into. Should we give up some and buy back later?

Do you mean we should  sell some bitcoin now and then buy back later? it might not be a good idea as the price might rise again.
It really depends on you regarding on this kind of decision on which if you are a trader you will definitely sold some of your coins to secure profits specially when you bought it on a lower price and its not really a bad thing and also holding off your coins is not also a bad thing since you are waiting for the right time to sell off.
3498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the main problems bitcoiners face? on: December 20, 2016, 03:24:22 PM
People have nearly no knowledge about btc. In my country 99% people do not even know , what bitcoin is !!! But now a days, bitcoin is being introduced locally and people are showing interest too. Underlying block chain tech is a awesome invention. Soon, btc will be adopted in wide range. But it will take time for Asian countries. Although btc is too popular in India, already
I do live also on an Asian country which i could really say that bitcoin adoption is really slow and also a small portion of current population is only aware on bitcoin existence thats why i do really like for people to have knowledge about this coin since its really helpful for people not only on its benefits but also to its earning capabilties that it gives.
3499  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: December 20, 2016, 03:11:41 PM
no i don't as it is bad idea, bitcoin don't need bank at all

With Bitcoin people are their own bank, but they are just looking at the fact that regular banks pay out interest on the money they store there, and take for granted that exactly the same will be the case with Bitcoin banks. I think it's pure greed. If that's the only reason, then they can store their coins on certain exchanges where they get interest as well. No difference.
bank helps your bitcoin to keep safe, need personal information to take your bitcoin. it's natural that bitcoin soliciting interest for services provided. honestly i don't agree with bitcoin bank because bitcoin not form like fiat
true really bitcoin do not like fiat, a lot of people using bitcoin that their identities could be private, when you use bitcoin bank certainly identity will be discovered,
But what about the exchanges that require data verification, is it that also make your identity uncovered ?
Just as expected if you verify yourself to an exchange then expect your identity is already discovered and you cant do anything about that unless if you decide to hide yourself completely and dont tend to verify your account but there are really times that we need to verify because of money making.right? Bitcoin bank would be useless since people would rather choose online wallet.
3500  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where profitable Cloud Mining? on: December 20, 2016, 02:55:30 PM
hallo guys....

I'm still a newbie here, I read and read about seems good lucrative mining bitcoin
But after I did "Research", there are two types of bitcoin mining namely: Mining using GPU and Cloud Mining

but now I am confused, where a good way to get bitcoin

please advice from guys that really helped me
thank you
If you like to get bitcoin then exchange your fiat currency to buy bitcoin as simple as that but if you dont want to buy and dont have money to spend then getting it or mining it would really be possible but not on mining bitcoin using GPU coz it wont work anymore as of these days and about cloudmining then dont proceed just take up a little more research regarding bitcoin mining using asic.
