3481  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin's price drop to 30K healthy? on: January 13, 2021, 04:28:21 PM
Its really surprising how this year price of btc went up really fast like in a week almost 50% so I must say we need a correction inorder to go upward if btc not corrected then the market is not healthy at and the risk is kinda high to crash severely.
It's normal also for BTC to decline in price due to its too high and fast move to reach its ATH but I don't think that correction will last long since many new companies were still eyeing to buy more BTC and adopt BTC especially those who are shifting their investment from stock to crypto due to new variant of virus that may cause problem again in every economy.
3482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum now looks like a complete joke on: January 11, 2021, 06:26:19 PM
Is it really like that?
Should every ERC20 token rise in value whenever Ethereum does?
Why should it lean over Ethereum price when they have their own market?
Isn't it enough that they used Ethereum to create their contract for their dusty projects?

Perhaps, you should ask the devs of your supported project why their tokens are not appreciating in value.
Gas fees depend on traffic.
Even ETH is struggling when BTC is reaching multiple ATH, only just few days ago ETH able to pump since BTC is already too high yet it's not enough reason for other coins to also increase in price. Other  investors were trying to put some hype on ETH but it doesn't mean other projects will be affected too, there are too many projects that are in ETH platform but does2have any product development or reason to be noticed.
3483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sorry guys.. Bitcoin is not for our day-to-day transactions. on: January 11, 2021, 02:03:48 PM
Those who use BTC as Payment transaction for bills or for loading purposes regretted that they did that, they are more aware now that the price is able to increase if they will just hold or invest it. Those friends of mine who I know have BTC been monitoring the price and hopes they will able to buy again and will try not to use for simple transactions but just let it as their investment.
3484  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of BTC might go down on: January 10, 2021, 11:04:55 PM
They've said their thoughts based on their analysis. For me, I think that the $100k in this year is possible. Maybe it won't be exactly $100k but Bitcoin could attain a price as high as that. Also, do not really follow what these people say; do not make investments based on others' thoughts. DYOR and make your own guess (it's all guess work anyway).
The price will go down after this fast pump BTC experience but it will sure to increase again once correction happen since there will definitely many users who will secure some of their saving and there is still many users and companies who will adopt BTC. It's a continuous cycle, the only unknown is upto how much in can increase so we need to monitor it regularly.
3485  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with 'Selling early' regrets? on: January 08, 2021, 10:55:36 PM
One of the easiest ways I'd deal with this is to spread my funds between holding longterm and regular trading. If my trading funds misses a bull run, my long-term fund benefits. The last thing you'll want to do as a trader is to be consumed with regrets during trading.
Setting short term goal can ease the regret, I did sell early and regretted it especially the price reach more that 42k dollars now, but the time I do watch the market and plans to monitor it to sell and hold is depressing since the price is too volatile there are points that it keeps increasing when you watch it and suddenly will decline when you're not around and busy. At this point what important to consider is the fact that profit is profit and it's a reward for having BTC before this bull run happen. There's always a time to do short term trading and when price seems to drop a bit buyback can be an option provided you'll have time to monitor it.
3486  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade after all time high on: January 08, 2021, 10:37:05 PM
i think considering how fast the price is moving and then you should do a short term trading in consistent way i mean as long as you can get profit even it is just a split second than you should cashout your money afterwards. you dont want to be regret because you miss stuff and it might be better to save this profit better late than never
Profit is profit, the price is too volatility and we're not sure when the price will drop. I regret selling early but if the price did not increase that time I know I will also regret not selling. The key is just really set in mind the target amount based on upto how much we can monitor the price movements and its frustrating to monitor as we see the volatility too fast, when I plan to do selling I watch the market consistently until it reach my goal.
3487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More records for bitcoin as we welcome 2021. on: January 08, 2021, 10:14:42 PM
You really need to edit the current bitcoin price that you list on the OP. Even bitcoin has set a record $42K today.

I thought I mislook what OP posted in price anyway maybe it's a typo or he also mislook the price while typing, the price of BTC at $42k is impressive provided it's already just a start of the year, many thinks that like in 2017 ATH once the new year reached it will start to decline in it's price buy it's not what is happening, BTC still increasing and I regretted that I early out some of my BTC.
3488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever proven fairness of games? on: January 07, 2021, 10:20:20 PM
Well, it depends on the popularity and good-will of the company for me ngl. I never really bet huge funds to actually care if the casino is rigging me in the long term. I do verify bets when I lose right on the first roll or let's say losing at 1.01x twice, I just do it to verify and to quench my ego and anger that says I can't lose Cheesy for games like slots, it heavily depends on the provider. Games from providers like netent or evolution gaming are so popular so I don't really verify my games I play there.
As long as the casino or games already built their name and trusted reputation there's no need to verify the fairness. Actually even in some casino except those new casinos what I wanted is a good support team who have something like live chat support or reply fast in inquiries same with fast withdrawal process. Fairness can be proven if we actually win or not just experience loss and loss consecutively.
3489  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't buy what you can't hodl. on: January 07, 2021, 09:47:18 PM
why should it be like that in the crypto world there are no rules for hodl, you can trade coins on exchanges, even now there is a new feature in trading with the name staking and saving, yes passive income is now favorite instead of holding for long term
Many already learned their lesson when it comes in holding altcoins as only few altcoins can still have value at the long run, only BTC is able to get price increases, it doesn't matter whether we hold long or not what important is that we are in profit and our investment is able to have some gains, being too greedy and hoping with too much profit sometimes results in different way so if we're able to have passive income by trading holding too long is not necessary.
3490  Economy / Economics / Re: Very serious Question the New money system on: January 04, 2021, 09:20:04 PM
It seems to me that we hear the words that the system has come to an end from year to year, but the system continues to work and crush everything around.
Banks are the main monetary system on the planet, and before they crash, they will create something to keep them in the game.
Not all Governments can let their bank or system to crash unless there is no more support can get from other countries or their system can't no longer provide the needs of their people. They will surely try to find more ways to use what they traditionally do to make their system work. Only new governments or countries who already lose the value of the monetary is open to the idea of new money system since they need options to wake up their economy like in Venezuela, if crypto will be accepted throughly in more countries that's the only time new system can truely exist in many countries as long as their government is open in the idea and access of crypto and there is unity between all countries that approves it.
3491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting History - 2020 on: January 04, 2021, 08:54:12 PM
I have go back and check how much I had deposited and how much I have profited or lost from gambling. However, overall, I can say I'm in profit but that not too much ad I don't gamble with big money. The unforgetable betting this last year was getting 5.40 odd for ManU against PSG and I won the match. It was a big win for me indeed.
Congrats in your win, as I check mine now I have some wins in some casino and lose in some games in other casino. I can't really determine my winnings or total lose but since some amount that I use in playing came from my reward in campaign and didn't able to use my own savings money to deposit it's still fine, maybe I was able to play alot with different games with the money I won win when I gamble.
3492  Economy / Economics / Re: New Year | New Resolutions - How you gonna manage your finances - 2021 ? on: January 04, 2021, 08:30:06 PM
The new year starts with good news. Already now BTC costs about $ 30,000, there has been no such growth for a long time. Do you think the popularity of cryptocurrency is related to the pandemic? Personally, I believe that cryptocurrency has a huge future, you just need to wait a little.
It can be related since many investors in stock market ship in crypto where there is much active market now. Due to Pandemic many businesses are still not operating so the market of stock is still into recovering phase and with the new strain of covid might happen economy will surely be affected unlike in crypto which is based more on digital usage.
3493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hamster powered races on: January 04, 2021, 05:02:38 PM
I guess it's one of those articles about betting with animals that makes you wonder if it's going to be abused or not.  If such thing attracts people who are willing to abuse animals and take big risk for selfish reasons then I don't think it is an idea worth encouraging.  I believe good betting space should be both useful and safe for everyone.
Hopefully it's not even real animal
There are many gambling or racing/fighting game that involves animal. Hopefully this act will end since they sometimes tortured or force to do things out of fear or not being able to eat if they will not do it like those animal in carnivals. Now that we are in era of technology it is really better to engaged it thru computer and not anymore in real animals. Like games that will require some skills or adding items to boost their ability.
3494  Economy / Economics / Re: We, bitcoiners, should buy a bank on: January 04, 2021, 04:19:36 PM
early bitcoiners are pro and know that banks are the enemy of btc and they also know what to do , they take profit and they are calm because they already know that btc is not a bubble .

its the recent and new bitcoiners that are saying bad stuffs to btc and always claims that btc is a bubble and going to crash soon  . if they are scared then they are welcome to buy a bank to convert btc funds instantly to fiat to avoid fluctuations  . i  like the idea actually but for me , no need anymore for that because to me btc is already a bank  .
It's been long that I don't save in my bank. I usually just use it for withdrawal purpose but not to save. I prefer to buy btc and just hold it. The problem only is when we do withdraw alot in banks now they will question where the money came from especially if it comes from trading, there is a need to have a hard asset or proof to make them believe that we're capable of having money in our bank since they are not used in seeing my bank have money.
3495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling advertising monitored closely on: January 04, 2021, 03:59:12 PM
If the gambling companies decide to show such problematic advertising etc it would ruin the whole reputation of the industry as a whole.
I think it will not.

If there's an existing particular guidelines about the use of stuffed animals I think they just have to follow the guidance properly. Its really important that these casinos are aware of the laws and regulations to avoid this kind of incident knowing that child is always a sensitive matter.
We are in digital world now so we should be careful in everything we posted especially if its an advertisement as it will effect not just the company but the mind of people who will see it. Using animals in their benefits is not necessary as there are many ways now to get the attention of people we should be mindful and give a better impact not criticism it's easy to spread news now so make sure  everything we do is accurate and according to the law and rules.
3496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your bitcoin prediction for 2021? on: January 04, 2021, 02:24:35 PM
Many is more aware now that crypto exist and that many potential investors are eyeing or already in crypto. Top companies will be joining in these era of investment like what other companies did last year. We may able to see more spike in prices when other companies acknowledge the potential and usefulness that crypto can give in their portfolios. Hopefully also in altcoins there will be a massive adoption these year.
3497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Atlast bitcoin breaks $30000 on: January 04, 2021, 12:33:55 PM
The strength of Bitcoin can be measured with the ease it recovers, when a correction occurs. Today the prices went from $34,000 to $29,000 in a matter of few hours, but then it recovered back to $31,000 in such a short period. That shows that the demand is still there and most of those who are vulnerable to panic selling have already sold their holdings. IMO, the next major resistance may be witnessed at $50K.
Some w already get their guaranteed profit. It is good to buy back for others who already get some profit. In my case I already sold half of my BTC holding and keep the half just in case the price still pump. The price move abnormally that we should be updated at all times since it may pump or dump without us noticing it.
3498  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fast ways to lose money trading on: January 03, 2021, 10:58:15 PM
Not providing stop loss and just not monitoring it will really lead to lose, actually any coins traded without monitoring tends to be a loss since crypto is too volatile especially the altcoins which sometimes loses their value after while or when the project team left and provide no development. Or betting in exchanges with long or short without realising there are some hypes or problems happening with that coin. Fast lose is always present if we don't do proper monitoring of our investment.
3499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tips to find new gem on: January 03, 2021, 10:35:21 PM
hey folks, i'm new in crypto and want learn more about this. As BTC has already pump a lot i'm trying to find a new gem with a low marketcap which can have a decent run in the following years. I can read sometimes some people picked some coins and did a lot of profit, and i was wondering how they can do to detect a coin with a lot of potentiel. I started to search but to be honest i don't know where to start. I was wondering if some people could share their experiences and how to be able to detect a coin Smiley

Since there are too many coins already in the market it will be hard to detect which coin will really bring us profit, btc is no doubt still a good investment if we will be able to enter in a lower price but in terms of altcoins that only have limited time where they get prices high it will be better if you'll be able to catch them when their something in hype like what happen in defi projects last year that gives profit to many, being able to know the news and the companies about and plans can help in decision making.
3500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be Excited about the rise, be wary about the scams, and loss on: January 03, 2021, 10:19:55 PM
The first thing that came to my mind when I read the title was XRP,
Everyone was so excited and pumped about XRP last year before the snapshot,
It gain so much attention and been hype then after the price gets high the fall begun and so many negative news came up.
So yes we should be excited about the rise but be wary about the scam and loss.
XRP brings me before good profit in trading but we must know when to stop acquiring altcoins by knowing the technical but as well the news that are related to them, we must know until when we were able to earn from it and decide to stop loss once price starts to dump especially with some news related to why the price is declining. Always be attentive in what we invest with put time and effort as much as possible to know the updates, I already learn my lesson from ICO or altcoins that does not have any value now after the 2017 ATH.
