Hmmm...

Kiev prepares ‘armed provocations’ to discredit pro-federation forces, Russia

Quote
“According to our information, in eastern regions of Ukraine provocations are being planned near the border in order to discredit the military personnel of the Russian Federation,” Vitaly Zakharchenko said in Rostov on Don during a press conference with ousted President Victor Yanukovich.

OSCE monitors visit Slavyansk, expected to submit report

And a comment:

Consider that these observers might be there to just report to the Kiev authorities details about the uprising so they can attack the protesters from superior positions. Legitimate spies so to speak.

That's what I meant. Re-reading my post, I can see it is a bit ambiguous.
Yes, Russians were starting to get fed up with that, especially since Russian people saw that those indirect subsidies didn't reach the Ukrainian people, but ended up in the pockets of Timoshenko, Yanukovich and the like. Now those subsidies would have ended up financing the coup government, and no one wants that.
The actions of the Russian government are therefore in accordance with the will of the people, which does not happen often.

Presidential candidate Oleg Carev stated that a whole floor in Ukrainian Security Service building is dedicated to CIA, and that Ukrainian officers are prohibited access to that floor:
http://ria.ru/world/20140413/1003749504.html

Someone's going to eliminate him soon.

Kiev prepares a large-scale provocation to discredit the citizens of South-East. The heads of units of Ministry of Internal Affairs stationed in Donetsk got orders to use the fighters of Right Sector to stage an armed attack against their units' positions:
http://ria.ru/world/20140413/1003754158.html

Yanukovich blames US for giving green light to bloodshed and staring a Civil War in South-East:
http://rt.com/news/yanukovich-ukraine-war-civil-292/
http://itar-tass.com/mezhdunarodnaya-panorama/1118212?utm_medium=rss20
He also addressed the military to not comply with the orders given by Ukrainian junta. He further added that once the order in the country is restored, those in power now will face criminal charges.

(Given that he is still the legitimate president of the country, his orders bear more legal weight than the orders of the CIA puppet government.)

"Fear of communism", was just a pretext for the public's benefit. We see the same pattern of fomenting anti-Russian sentiment before WWI, and nowadays. The simple and more correct answer would be: they didn't want the competition, and they wanted the resources. Wink
3486  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ukraine rejects Russia Gazprom gas price hike on: April 13, 2014, 07:23:26 PM
I was about to write that too... But I am not sure about Northern Europe being the winners. They still need to pay for the gas, and it will be EU taxpayers who will be paying for the gas in Ukraine, as opposed to Russian taxpayers (the subsidies to Ukraine were taken from Russian state budget) from the past years.
3487  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ukraine gold sent to America on: April 13, 2014, 07:19:44 PM
Germany still demands it's gold reserve back (as does France).

It was Russia who defeated the Nazi Germany. And how did the US got to keep all the gold?

they both did it, Russia and US/GB/FR..

Yes, but the war would have been shorter and the losses would have been some million fewer if GB and US responded to Soviet's multiple pleas for help and opened the second front in 1942. So excuse Russians (and by that I mean Soviets from all the involved republics) when they feel a little peeved.

British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, on the other hand, was an outspoken opponent of a second front. He may have feared, as some historians suggest, that a landing in France might lead to a duplication of the murderous warfare associated with the battlefields of northern France in the First World War. But it is more likely that Churchill liked the idea that Hitler and Stalin were administering a major bloodletting to each other on the Eastern Front, and that he believed that London and Washington would benefit from a stalemated war in the East. Since he already had nearly three years of war experience, Churchill had much influence on Roosevelt, a newcomer to the war in Europe. It is therefore understandable that the opinion of the British leader ultimately prevailed, and that plans for opening a second front in 1942 were quietly discarded. In any event, Roosevelt himself discovered that this course of action – or rather, inaction – opened up some attractive prospects.

For Russia, which damaged the images of it as the European stability and energy suppliers.

I wonder how long before Putin invokes the special decree and orders Russian troops to march into Ukraine. After all NATO invaded Kosovo on much shakier pretexts. And here Russian troops would be greeted as liberators.

I think Putin will wait - with the rate Ukrainian forces "defect" to the side of the people, there soon won't be much left of Ukrainian army, so the people of Ukraine might stand a chance of resolving the problem internally (at substantial human life costs).

Nalivajchenko from SBU says the special operation against people of Donetsk will start at night on the 14th of April.

Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs demands the "Maidan proteges" who toppled the legitimate president of the country to stop the war on people and follow the agreement signed on the 21st of February, and witnessed by the Western supporters of these proteges, as well as USA should bring under control their puppets and force them to distance themselves from the neo-Nazis. The possibility to avoid Civil war depends now solely on the West:

Well, those "buckets on wheels" are still serving humanity. Scientists managed to locate them and use their reflectors to triangulate and measure precise distance shifts between Moon and Earth.

Well, they did have some money, until the gold reserve was looted by US. Besides, they were offered to still by on credit, but at market price.
3495  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ukraine rejects Russia Gazprom gas price hike on: April 13, 2014, 04:37:18 PM
Do I understand this correctly, that any obligations to pay on time shall be considered as blackmailing? If not, then what's your understanding of blackmailing?

Please don't take it personally. Roll Eyes

no, but raising price for no obvious reason for 2X is blackmailing, specialy when you know that the thing you are selling is not replacable.

Are you joking? No payments over the last years, refusal to pay for new deliveries.

Who killed him? Right sector, or the pro-Russians?

This man (with Kalashnikov in hands) was killed many hours before (Vesti.ru precise, that was a innocent fisherman), another alive man was found in car, he told, that was kidnapped on motorway (maybe lie).
Killed was maybe a eyewitness of something or propaganda trick of special forces from Kiev.

Quote

Shooting 5 kilometres from Slavjansk was a provocation. There were both Ukrainian army and protesters preparing for defence there. A white Renault arrived and three people wish silenced machine guns exited, opening fire against the activists. One activist was wounded. Ukrainian troopers drove the APC to the scene of shooting, but the gunmen ran by that time to the woods. There the military found a cold body of a man, who didn't die there, but was dumped there as part of the provocation.

In other news:

Avakov vowed to take Slavjansk before the day is over or to shoot himself. All available forces are thrown against that city.

People in the South-East are cheering his courage and urge him to start preparing his gun.

There are further confirmations that CIA's Brennan indeed visited Ukraine incognito and had meetings with leaders of special ops, before the suppression operation in South-East was announced:

NEWSFLASH: Ukrainian Security Council launches full-scale security op in eastern regions

And so it starts. Kiev decided to perform a large special operation in South-East (which they call for anti-terrorist) invloving armed forces of Ukraine:

http://rt.com/news/kiev-clashes-rioters-police-571/
http://ria.ru/world/20140413/1003740877.html

I think Kiev ordered these strikes on Kerry's orders after this:
http://rt.com/news/lavrov-kerry-ukraine-talks-200/

The army and ops has orders to shoot anyone who carries St.George ribbon or "looks threatening".

Observers from OSCE arrived to Slavjansk:
http://slavgorod.com.ua/News/Article/802
http://www.kommersant.ru/doc/2451976
Representatives from Poland said that Ukrainians must themselves resolve the issue without bloodshed.
The car with the representatives was stopped and surrounded by citizens. Their IDs were checked and they were asked to wait a little.
Citizens don't want to lead them behind the barricades.

Some commentators remind that OSCE representatives acted as spies for NATO prior to air strikes against Yugoslavia.

Kiev says that they will present proof of Russian involvement in events in South-East during the meeting on the 17th:
http://www.interfax.ru/world/371311

I wonder if they will also explain US military presence in the South-East (one mercenary has allegedly been captured).

This also assumes that they will not continue murdering citizens, something Lavrov warned them against.

Oh, and CIA must be a bit more diligent in faking evidence. People already spotted wrong colour on AK parts used by allegedly Russian insurgents. During WWII, many German spies were taken on such small details, like wrong type of soles on their boots.
