3501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone help me on this? on: July 27, 2021, 03:53:21 AM
Hello

Im interested to know how many search a coin or token need to be on 24h trend on coinmarketcap?

I know that there is no exact number but i want to have some approximate stats to determine somthing

Thanks in advance
I don't think there is such a feature on Coinmarketcap yet, what I know has such a feature is Coingecko, but they also don't clearly show how many people are searching
They are just showing the trending coins and probably those are the basis on how many times a particular coin is being searched on their platform.
If you navigate to their search input, it will show you the current trending coins. This feature of the coin market started a few months ago, and when I started to see this, their search function becomes slower. But it's still good.

It's impossible they will public how many times a particular coin is being searched on their platform, so using the trending coins on their platform is a good alternative to getting the X amount number a coin is searched.
3502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is ETH and BNB Prediction on: July 27, 2021, 12:13:51 AM
What I can see here is Ethereum will have more room to grow compared to BNB, especially if Ethereum 2.0 will be used by the majority.
Binance Smart Chain is an alternative to Ethereum especially for the transaction fees problem, look if Ethereum will solve that problem, Ethereum will be more useful and a lot of people will use it.
3503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the weirdest thing about crypto? on: July 25, 2021, 02:48:36 AM

What do you think is the weirdest thing about crypto? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
I encountered very lot of weird cryptocurrencies and some people can make money on them especially when they bought early and are able to get out early too, most of the weird are the animal coins that popping on every blockchain network, not only on Ethereum/Binance Smart Chain.
And another thing is it's like NSFW coin which is named CUM ROCKET, I saw the founder of that coin being interviewed on a podcast and she is really serious with the project and seems dedicated.
3504  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Direct Sending of Coins to another Coin Wallet. on: July 25, 2021, 02:37:45 AM
This is likely similar to the "bridge" term which is already in some altcoins now, that there is the capability to transfer from another blockchain network, they are almost similar but yeah as what others said, it is possible but I believe on some altcoins here specially built on some blockchain network that got limitation or blocker, it will be difficult or impossible to integrate.
3505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE BULL RIDE OF 2021 on: July 25, 2021, 02:21:26 AM
With the current epidemic situation, many people are looking for ways to earn extra income without having to leave the house, can see that playing games and bringing in huge profits gradually becomes a fever small in the digital currency community. It would not be too surprising if this trend brings new strength and attracts many people back to the market.
Yes, this is one of the many reasons why NFT games now are bullish, it started with Axie Infinity which is an NFT game.
I am also afraid for people who are entering this new trend without the knowledge or knowing the risk, they should be aware of the risk too so in the future, they will not blame other people if something will go wrong.
3506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful what you choose to invest in now, not all coins will recover. on: July 25, 2021, 02:06:07 AM
OP is right, I remember way back bull run 2017-2018. When the ICO craze started, a lot of altcoins everywhere popping and when the bear market started, most of them got rekt, most dumped more than 50% and some are above 80% to 90% which is crazy.
And additional, even how a coin dumped a very huge percentage, it does not mean it will recover and you will guarantee a huge return of investment (ROI) for it.
3507  Economy / Speculation / Re: the next checkpoint $13,800 on: July 23, 2021, 07:25:43 AM
What I can see also now is the same as last month when Bitcoin is battling for closing above $40,000 for monthly close, but look how it devastated when fails to close above $40,000. And now look at the bounce when we touched $29,000. It keeps bouncing above $30,000.
But, we will not celebrate early. Monthly close is still important for this July, if Bitcoin will close above $30,000, bullish.
OP got a point now especially comparing the price of June 2015 and February 2019.
3508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The houses always win, are you the house or the gambler? on: July 23, 2021, 07:08:59 AM
For me, it's not always that house will always win.
It's just become a famous saying, but if you do research, there are some houses that go bankrupts, so I think it's much better we can say that it's just very rare that there is a casino that will go bankrupt.
How often do casinos go bankrupt? What are the most common reasons why one would go under? - You can find here there are some companies goes bankrupt last 2014 year. "The house always wins", is like some people always telling if you gamble, you will lose.
3509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low market cap coins that you are interested in? on: July 23, 2021, 07:02:10 AM
May I know how much total market cap you are considering as small market cap coins?
Since for me, I am considering coins that are a small market cap that is around the top 500 above the market cap, so for now it is around $50m market cap coins.
Most of the low market cap coins that I am interested in are in DeFi and they are non BSC tokens in which I am not interested.
For me now, I am interested in some Solana altcoins, like SNY or Fabric.
3510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much of your total capital is in crypto? on: July 23, 2021, 06:54:07 AM
Have you ever calculated how much of your total capital is in cryptocurrency?

In my case, i have 60% of my money in bank accounts, 20% in stock market, 5% in cash and only 15% in crypto.

In my case, I am not sure if I include my money that is circulating from cryptocurrency to fiat then vice versa since I am using most of my money now in business using cryptocurrency, it's sort of buy and sells cryptocurrencies.
I can conclude that the major of my portfolio is in cryptocurrencies now, BTC/ETH/ other altcoins, and some stablecoins too.
3511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binomo scam? on: July 23, 2021, 06:51:04 AM
So Binomo now is already into cryptocurrency? Their platform is also using cryptocurrencies?
This is the second time saw a thread about Binomo.
It seems most of the people here misunderstood the word scam to losing/gambling.
Since they have binary option and they are fair, and you just lost but if you win they are paying, we can't call it a scam, right?
3512  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why newbies lose huge money in trading on: July 23, 2021, 03:16:59 AM
As you said trading takes practice and consistency but also luck that is a really big factors that affect your trading result.
Remember that even the best technical analyst could get their prediction that are based from their experience and knowledge wrong just because there's other unpredictable factor that could affect the market, like doge as an example, no one could predict that Elon suddenly jump in to the doge hype and change the condition of the market really drastically that the effect still felt until today.
right, after we analyze and make transactions, by setting targets and possible stop losses, of course we just have to wait for the market to react and from there whatever happens, let God's hand decide. but on the other hand trading is not gambling, even though luck contributes to success. so don't forget to pray
Actually there are  random factors work out, and worth analysis give you complete benefits. Try to get the opportunity in every market movement you can utilize it and make cool profits from future trading regardless only go through general trading option. You can't play with the market, but once you get the things you're OK to go.
If there are really random factors in trading, stop losses is your friend too, it will help you to reduce the loss if ever your analysis will be invalidated.
Most newbies who starting trading are not using stop loss or no risk management at all, I experienced that during my newbie days, so I can relate to it.
3513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador’s first wind farmProject,it's good news for Bitcoin on: July 23, 2021, 03:07:11 AM
Expecting that this kind of project will start to spread again to other countries, I am positive here and bullish for Bitcoin.
El Salvador is really serious when they started to accept Bitcoin as legal tender after also the volcano mining Bitcoin news before and now the wind farm project.
3514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still use ETH? on: July 20, 2021, 11:21:05 PM
Binance chain made a huge profit because of those issues that you pointed out they are now the best alternatives for Ethereum but don't count out Ethereum yet, they are working on it, the developers are not sleeping on their job and they are definitely going to fix this issue, but we have to wait and bear the transactions for now but while they are working to shift to staking.
Binance Smart Chain is extremely too far from Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain only useful before when the Ethereum network was clogged, and look how Binance Smart Chain now, and as we all know, Binance smart Chain is kinda pure copy-paste of Ethereum.
There are still alternatives and much better than Binance Smart Chain for me.
And we all know, Ethereum is one of the most trusted smart contracts networks that enable to work since the beginning, so I have no doubt that people are still using Ethereum despite huge transaction fees.
3515  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go down below $20,000. on: July 20, 2021, 11:16:03 PM
$20,000 is very possible. Take note that we are still -51% from all-time-high. Correct me if I am wrong, the last peak around 2017-2018, after we touched around $19,000 we manage to drop below $4,000 before reaching the recent all-time-high which is around $60,000.
And the last dropped was around -70% I think? So, for me, $20,000 is still possible for if we are basing the previous bear market.
3516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOLDING TOKEN TO EARN DIVIDENDS on: July 20, 2021, 11:12:49 PM
(....)
My questions, are the long term benefits of crypto changing or it is just useless to hold since you can partake in farming and staking programs.
Just take note that, farming/yield farming is not guaranteed a return or huge return, there are some yield farming these days that are having "IMPERMANENT LOSS", so if you are familiar with it, you should be aware of it before doing yield farmings.
For me, the long-term benefits if a project is active and their roadmap is useful. The long term is always good as long the project is good too.
3517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give your bitcoins to scammers on: July 20, 2021, 11:09:34 PM
The scam will stay forever. Especially now, with Bitcoin and the help of the internet, scamming made easier. It's just sad that there are still people falling for it. Most of them are newbies and lack knowledge.
I recently watched a documentation series in Netflix called Money, Explained and there's a an episode that talks about scams, titled "Get Rich Quick", they explained the history of these kinds of scams, and fake Bitcoin giveaways that spreading right now is another method of scam.
3518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we already in meme coins mania? on: July 20, 2021, 02:23:51 AM
Shitcoin is shitcoin.
These random altcoins who are just popping everywhere with huge percentage on 1 day and after few days, look like the very huge dump.
And what I am also starting to see these days are the NFT games, or blockchain games involved. I am afraid to see another set of scams with these new things involved, NFT/Defi/Blockchain games.
3519  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any contests for predicting the price of coins? on: July 20, 2021, 02:18:27 AM
Yeah, this is a trading competition.
One of the most reputable exchanges is Bybit that organizing trading competitions before, as far as I remember there are a lot of traders joining that competition and organized by Bybit. And I think Bitfinex too already has this kind of competition, so if you want to join next time, much better if you keep updated with them, especially on their social media accounts, or subscribe to their newsletters.
3520  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading needs consistent attention and full concentration on: July 20, 2021, 02:14:14 AM
In my opinion trading requires very high patience because I see when trading many of them are easily influenced by the bad news, whereas if you are not affected you will make a lot of profit, whereas if you are easily influenced it will be difficult to make a profit. so in my opinion when trading you should be able to choose coins carefully so that your patience can make a profit.
Patience without consistency and concentration is useless. OP is right, the title of this thread says it all.
Consistency is one of the major problems of newbies, especially those people who started to trade and after few trades, they stopped and after a few days/weeks, they trade again and stop again, with no consistency.
Especially they stop when they already lost, then very huge possibility that you will not get your loss back if you stop.
