3501  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOINCORRECTION on: December 29, 2017, 04:54:30 PM
For all the newbies and existing noobs, from the little knowledge I have,i have seen three different corrections vth d BTC prices this year, may be around may be vn it touched 3k it dipped nd bounced bk ,same observation vn it hit 5k,10k and 18k,its all aboutthe patience and the trust you have on the blockchain technology nd decentralized platform!

Price bumps and dumps becomes normal property of bitcoin because the price of bitcoin getting very expensive now a days.So day trading is very unpredictable job so it is better to hold some bitcoins in long term to make enough profits which required to live happy life in future. Grin
3502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The market valuation of ethereum has got overtaken by Ripple, what next? on: December 29, 2017, 01:02:48 PM
Now the market valuation of ethereum has got overtaken by the long time sustained growth providing ripple. Ethereum too is expected to grow bigger by the upcoming year. At this instance ripple growing bigger and bigger when majority of the altcoins declining in value makes people switch towards ripple.

Yeah ripple getting popular because of its fast transaction time I think.Because bitcoin and ethereum network was chocked recently so people may look for other option which maybe ripple.I hope ethereum price will highly bump in the upcoming year so I already got some ripples by selling my bitcoins. Wink
3503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits from Gambling on: December 29, 2017, 04:48:48 AM
Benefits from gambling is that you can be a richer person in very short time only if you are a lucky person. And it will give good adrenaline pump which gives great pleasure.I don't think any other benefits we can get from gambling.

3505  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Watch out for the scams out there on: December 28, 2017, 02:52:12 PM
Yeah, most of the newbies who try do trade maybe scammers but not all.So escrow is must when you pay him with bitcoins.Because once you send bitcoin to someone you can't get back if they don't give their product or service. So you need to take care of your hard earned money. Smiley
3506  Economy / Economics / Re: European Union official suggests that Bitcoin will not be regulated on: December 28, 2017, 12:49:14 PM
Regulators in Europe have tried to pressure the European Commission to put Bitcoin under a magnifying glass in one way or another. However, there are other characters that sometimes make us believe that these efforts are over, at least for now.

Yeah it is highly impossible to regulate the use of bitcoin because it is anonymous and there is no way to trace the usage of bitcoiners. So no government can put rules and regulation for using bitcoin.
3507  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is going to crash? on: December 28, 2017, 08:06:33 AM
Hey guys, I'm not saying that I think bitcoin is going to crash but. This image should be scary to anyone holding BTC.

https://imgur.com/a/JhvEa

No one knows when the price will rise or fall these are just assumptions, but in long term the price of bitcoin will only increase. So don't worry about the temporary rise and fall in bitcoin prices.
3508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what impact has gambling make in your life? on: December 27, 2017, 04:09:26 PM
Bitcoin may change the whole life of a person either in up side or down side which will be based on the luckiness of that person.Gambling can make a person billionaire in a single day and it will also make a billionaire into beggar in some days. Grin

If you want to  know what is your status of luck then try a betting game with big amount of money.
3509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell BTC for Cash on: December 26, 2017, 03:07:29 PM
Hello,
I want to sell BTC in Las Vegas. I want to get around 2000 Dollar, depents on the x-change how much BTC I have to spent.

I have to opportunities:
- Sell BTC to a stranger found with localbitcoins.com
- Sell BTC on an ATM.

The x-change rate at an ATM is quite poor, but for me it sounds "safe" to sell it to a maschine.

In general I do not have any idea how it will work. I have a german wallet on bitcoin.de and I'm not interessted in transfering it somewhere else then to the buyers wallet due to the high transaction fees.
What would you think how long I have to wait, until the payment is processed? I'm not interesssted in waiting a long time to get the deal done.

Any tips for the deal beside public area, free wifi and counterfeit money?

Thanks a lot!

Selling bitcoins at localbitcoins is not advisable due to high transaction fee,you need to pay transaction fee and the deposit fee if you wanna sell on localbitcoins,if you can find a trader locally then you can sell him directly to the cash but it is risk to sell directly to an online trader you may get scammed.ATM is also a good idea if you can find them at your local you can sell your bitcoin with ease.
3510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best Social Media for promoting an ICO ? on: December 26, 2017, 01:27:36 PM
Like the title says, i would like some feedback from the experts in this industry, so far i have gathered these 5 most important that seem to be used by everyone, can you add more ways?

1. Twitter
2. Reddit
3. This forum
4. Telegram
5. Slack (which i heard is full of scammers)
the best one is this forum for sure. the target market is perfect on this site and people who knows this site are for sure people who had an interest on cryptocurrency. the second best it would be twitter and telegram. telegram would be best place for knows more about the ico itself and cause we could get an answer directly from the member of the ico itself.
1.Facebook- i think this is the number 1 social media for promoting an ICO...

But more people still don't hear about the word ICO on facebook. So the forum is the best media to promote their project because this forum is the biggest forum in the world for crypto currency if a investor wants to invest on ICO then he will come here first to enquire about that project.
And twitter also the best media to promote their project but if a project needs to be successful then they need to all the above medias to attract more investors.
3511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There's a finite numbers of bitcoins. on: December 26, 2017, 11:20:39 AM
You would think that because there's no need to physically print the bills or mint the coins that there be an infinite number of bitcoins in existence; however that would be devalue the currency and render it worthless. Instead, there are exactly 21,000,000 bitcoins.

The finite or limited amount of bitcoin made it's price too expensive,if it is unlimited the price will be too low.So now the little change in the demand and supply will change the price of bitcoin thats why bitcoin price is too volatile.
3512  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to avoid high bitcoin transaction fees? on: December 26, 2017, 07:32:13 AM
I think the wallet we are using plays a big part in transaction fee,so you have to choose a wallet with customisable fee structure to avoid high fees.If you are sending multiple transactions at once then you can use electrum wallet because it cost you single fee for all the transactions.

But the blocksize is also a part of fee,but still im new here I just want to know about these more.
3513  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I'm going to buy some bitcoins on: December 26, 2017, 07:02:51 AM
Yeah,it is good time to bitcoins because the price dropped little bit so you can buy more coins. But if you want to be a bitcoin investor then your investment need to be in long term atleast a year to make enough profits.

3515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing is the new gambling! Double, Tripple, Quadruple...why still gamble? on: December 25, 2017, 01:57:23 PM
WHY STILL GAMBLE with Cryptocurrency?

Maybe for the fun and thrills?
You got me there: I like (or used) to gamble also and the thrills and the fun of (Bitcoin) gambling is still...unbeaten.

But for any other reason like doubling, trippling...or even 10x winning back your investment/stake...why would you still want to gamble that?
The chances/odds are bigger that you will loose them gambling...while the chances/odds are the same (probably bigger) that you would increase them while investing.

Why not 'bet' on any cryptocurrency of your choice?
  • A new promising ICO.
  • Or a coin you like.
  • Or think is technically good.
  • Or is hyped.
  • Has a great name/logo/website.
Any reason is valid enough!

The point is:
You are 'guaranteed' to make more coins with investing in a coin...than actually gambling with that same amount.

Just a reminder for those like me, who have bet and lost more than they would have (and still will) if they just invested that same amount!
With crypto's being so volatile...the thrill and fun is still there also...but it is a bit less, yes.

INVESTING IN (ALT)COINS IS THE NEW CRYPTO GAMBLING!

PS: Aslo ignore this if you are a whale and can afford both, anyways  Grin

If you think gambling is an investment then you can try these things like you listed above but many people doing gambling for fun purpose so they never think these kind of investments. But investing on ICO doesn't provide any guarantee to make profits,so it both have risks if you want try ICO instead of gambling you just go and try it bro.Good luck.
3516  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Kraken and Coinbase rate exchange on: December 25, 2017, 01:02:53 PM
Maybe many of you know already this but I just realised that Kraken has a very good rate to buy, and Coinbase to sell.

For instance, in this very moment, I am able to buy in Kraken ETH for just € 625. And if I want to sell this 1 EHT in Coinbase, they will pay me € 663 (!!!)

https://trade.kraken.com/kraken/ETHEUR
https://www.gdax.com/trade/ETH-EUR

Someone who has enough money could easily now go and buy e.g. 100 ETH in Kraken, and then sell it in Coinbase and would make a profit of nearly € 4,000 instantly, regardless of market volatility.

Crazy, isn't? Roll Eyes

Yeah,if you have enough money for that then you can earn money instantly. You can do this for bitcoins too,you can buy bitcoin in localbitcoins for cheaper and then sell them in coinbase to have more profits. But the fee is little problem with this type of strategy so you have big investment to cover this high transaction fee.
3517  Economy / Speculation / Re: DON'T PANIC. HOLD YOUR BITCOIN. on: December 25, 2017, 12:41:32 PM
DON'T PANIC. HOLD YOUR BITCOIN.

I think temporary drop, don't panic, be patient.
Bitcoin price will increase soon.
It's time to buy bitcoin.

Yeah it is temporary price fall due to the Christmas I think.I hope the price will be back normal after that hardfork which will happen on dec 28. Bitcoin price will recover soon after the price crashed but still many people are in panic and sell their bitcoin.
3518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: VLB.IO BOUNTY THREAD(Assistant Raymond541)(CLOSED) on: December 25, 2017, 12:20:58 PM

Any other received here?
3519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Can Bitcoin Grow When All Exchanges are Scams? on: December 25, 2017, 07:14:45 AM
Which exchange is scam?

I am using localbitcoins to buy and sell, there is no problem for me ever with this exchange. You need to pick popular exchange for trading your bitcoins and you need to pick the good traders too, because some offers low price than market price.
3520  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will either go to $8000 or $20000. on: December 25, 2017, 06:38:04 AM
$20K is not the maximum price of bitcoin so it will continue to rise even after crossing $20000.But bitcoin is too volatile so we don't expect when the price will dump and bump so learn to surf with the waves. If you are a long term investors you just sit back and watch the show don't panic of price bumps which is just temporary in bitcoin.
