Long before I applied to 1xbit I wasn't really that active but trying to be if ever accepted, wasn't for the money at all, I just wanna make a value on my participation besides, I'm an active reader here which I've learned a lot of things

Since you claim that its not about the money at all, why even opening thread complaining about not being able to join any campaign?

In all honesty it just got to my point of awareness when I see the neg trust but I did not wear their signature just a mere careless application.
Just to check if I understood you correctly, you never wore 1xbit signature, you just applied and for that you got negative feedback?

3502  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Central African Republic has adopted Bitcoin as legal tender on: May 03, 2022, 09:43:11 PM
We already have (at least) 2 threads about the subject: Central African Republic; the first African country to adopt bitcoin as a legal in Bitcoin Discussion board and Bitcoin Legal Tender in Central African Republic in Economics section so I am not so sure that we need another one. My advice to you is to lock this topic ( bottom left corner) and if you want to discuss CAR adopting Bitcoin do it in one of those two topics.

It is also the first Africa country to adopt Bitcoin coin as an official currency, this will usher new growth and opportunities for Central African Republic.
This might make them among the most visionary countries in the world.
You might wanna read about Central African Republic a little bit more and you will understand that it ain't that simple.
3503  Economy / Reputation / Re: My campaign journey has ended due to this on: May 03, 2022, 12:07:39 PM
I'm not sure if he wore a 1xbit signature during that time, but I think JG gave him plenty of time to change his mind before tagging his account. He applied for the 1xbit campaign on June 15 and received negative trust on July 1. Then, after realizing he wasn't going to be accepted into their campaign, he deleted his application and started complaining.
The way he wrote it was like he immediately got negative feedback after he applied for 1xbit signature campaign, but this is a completely different thing. He was given more than 2 weeks time to remove that sig and if that wasn't enough, then even 2 months probably wouldn't be enough for him.

A special card and airdrop in tokens that can be converted into local currency, depending on the location of the refugee. In addition, the card supports cashback, the absence of various additional fees (maintenance, issue, etc.)
From what I noticed it acts as any other regular Binance card (no issuing/maintenance fees, currency converted into your local one) and only thing that is different is those airdropped $75 per month for 3 months. I often criticize Binance (for a good reason), but kudos for that move.

I was surprised at how many crypto services and crypto personalities have responded to this global issue.
I think its more about chance for some good PR (like in Binance case) than an actual philanthropy but no matter the reason, help is what counts in the end.
3505  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Legal Tender in Central African Republic on: May 03, 2022, 06:26:44 AM
To be honest, I see neither of those too negative, but more or less realistic. CAR has an enormous amount of problems, starting from their poor infrastructure (you will have issues paying with bitcoin in the country where ~90% of the people don't have electricity and Internet access), ongoing civil war to the fact that they are one of the poorest countries in the world where many people can't even afford food on the regular basis and if you are on a very tight budget even a slight change in bitcoin price might affect you greatly.

So yeah, I am extremely skeptical when it comes to CAR and their capability to implement bitcoin payment. Hell, their government doesn't even control their own country and is in power only due foreign mercenaries that are protecting them from the rebels. Its very easy to pass a law, but its a completely different thing to successfully implement it.

3506  Economy / Reputation / Re: My campaign journey has ended due to this on: May 03, 2022, 06:05:20 AM
Few months ago, I was a very active campaigner ( my previous posts/activities will tell ) but then this shitty campaign by 1xbit caused my -1 neg trust from JollyGood after I tried applying  to their campaign which I don't have an idea that it was a scam campaign coz I see a lot of people are applying on which I take responsibility of.
Did you wear 1xbit signature for some time before you got tagged, or you were tagged immediately after applying for signature campaign? I am asking because I remember DT members contacting people after they got tagged and usually deleting the feedback if signature was removed immediately. Also, you are not a new member so how come you ignored negative trust on their bounty manager as I am sure he had plenty of those?

Let's be honest here, if people were not getting tagged for promoting scammers like 1xbit I am sure that many wouldn't have any issues joining their campaign but are not doing so only because of the fear of negative tag.

Internet, mobiteli, solarni paneli, kompjutori?

Please what can I do? I got two negative trust on my account and I don't know why.
Everything is explained in the reference link of those negative feedback that you got.

Please what can I do?
Before you open thread in reputation section, you should reply to those accusations in Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk IV (2022 Q2 but considering the provided evidence (shared address with few other accounts that joined the same bounty) chances of removing both of those negative feedbacks are slim to none.

3510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First African country adopts Bitcoin as official currency on: May 02, 2022, 07:36:50 AM
The third world countries are realising the fact that their fiat is not going to help them a lot to lift them up in terms of some economic boost so why shouldn't they give btc a option to act as helping hand in their surviving conditions
I don't wanna be a party pooper here but it would be good to check some facts about Central African Republic before writing stuff like "this is great thing etc".

The thing is, CAR is so poor that it's not even a 3rd world country but more of a 4th world country and it really baffles me that people think bitcoin with somehow magically help them when they don't have most basic infrastructure built in order to implement something like this.

On top of having only small percentage of people having access to electricity, they also have one of the most expensive Internet in the world. Combine those two things and then add bitcoin volatility which is not an insignificant thing when you can't even afford food on the regular basis and it will make you realize that chances of people using bitcoin in everyday life are slim to none.

I am not surprised by this particular development since the CAR has economic issues similar to countries like Venezuela, El Salvador etc which is why BTC and other popular cryptocurrencies could help alleviate these issues to some extent.
While those two countries have loads of problems, situation there is nowhere near as bad as in CAR and its not comparable at all.

Binance is offering fixed and flexible savings when it comes to BTC. Since binance is a reputable exchange with SAFU, I am more confident to have my idle BTC to put under their savings services. They may not have the government insurance but Binance has SAFU in place.
Binance claim that funds are "safu", but we have no proof of that, one may only hope that's true. We've seen so many exchanges (even the top ones) turning to shit so just because Binance is at the top at the moment it doesn't mean that one day things won't go south and then the fun will start.

I already tried that before but I entered my BTC under flexible savings, because you can withdraw anytime your BTC, if in case you need it.
I wonder what would happen if everyone tried to withdrew their bitcoin at the same time, would they have enough bitcoin on their hands to do that? I am not so sure.

Just made a little meme for this occasion Cheesy

3512  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Novosti on: May 01, 2022, 08:32:10 PM

https://datareportal.com/reports/digital-2021-central-african-republic

Few days ago (April 26th) Binance launched Refugee Crypto Card for all Ukrainian Binance users that had to leave their country and are currently in one of the EEA countries (27 EU countries + Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway).

Refugees who are verified by local non-profit organizations and applied for the Binance Refugee Crypto Cards will receive 75 BUSD, equivalent value to US$75 per month for three months. The BUSD cryptocurrency will be converted to local currency automatically during the card payment.

Getting and using a card is free. To obtain a Binance Refugee Crypto Card, refugees will need to use an existing account registered in Ukraine or register a new Binance account using a Ukrainian home address, even if currently living in another EEA country. All users will be required to complete full KYC verification
3514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is your bitcoin hero (excluding Satoshi)? on: May 01, 2022, 04:10:08 PM
If bitcoin had a face, it'd probably be Hal's.
+1, I know chances are very slim but I like to think that was behind Satoshi Nakamoto pseudonym.

Regarding the bitcoin heroes, three names immediately come to my mind; first one is Hal Finney who for me is embodiment of everything (I think) Satoshi is, 2nd  is Andreas Antonopoulos for his efforts in spreading the word about bitcoin and last but not least Laszlo Hanyecz, who is the reason I make bitcoin themed pizza every year to commemorate his famous transaction.

3515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it bad to leave crypto on exchanges? on: May 01, 2022, 08:50:06 AM
Like Binance itself, they will not steal our assets. But they may be hacked and this has ever happened several times ago that Binance has hacked. That is one of the risks or weaknesses of saving assets on exchanges.
Binance maybe won't steal your money in the classic sense of the word, they may impose some bullshit reason why they decided to lock your funds and there will be nothing you can do about it. Selective scamming is still a thing.

If you want to take your Binance account security to the next level, you can use a security key such as Yubikey. This is a physical device, and you must tap the physical device button to enable 2FA. This is useful for those who have a large amount of money in their exchange account.
While it may protect you from external attacks on your account specifically, that can't help you if Binance get hacked or if CZ decides to perform exit scam.

Might as well sum it up with the meme  Grin

3516  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Novosti on: May 01, 2022, 07:54:41 AM

3517  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Legal Tender in Central African Republic on: May 01, 2022, 06:28:37 AM
I checked the mainstream media coverage as well. Whatever sparse coverage is there on this subject was overwhelmingly negative. Is there any specific reason why this happened? What makes CAR different from El Salvador?
I haven't really noticed so much negativity in the media coverage (then again I read only couple of articles on the subject) but the fact that Central African Republic is one of the poorest countries in the world, with only ~11% people having access to the internet and the civil war that's been going on for 10 years now might be what makes people being skeptic about all this and i must say that I agree with them and I am skeptic about their capability to implement this.

They really have much bigger issues at their hand and it's not something that can be solved by bitcoin becoming legal tender, not even close and while El Salvador is not developed country, it's still in much better situation than CAR.

3518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the future of crypto 10 years from now. on: May 01, 2022, 06:11:51 AM
in you're future sights and speculation of btc based on some good promising projects that is now scattering and has a posibility to move to next level in the near future, Can there will be a coin that can manage to surpass btc 10 years from now?
Surpass how exactly, you have to be more specific. Is it by price, mcap, or maybe utility? My answer is no all three things.

But at the same time, there are alts such as Solana and Terra, which have returned a profit that is manytimes of what Bitcoin provided in the last few months.
Just wait for the proper bear market to come and you will see how that profit disappears (I hope that you already took some) because if bitcoin drops additional ~50%, you can be sure that all those alts will go down 90+%. We've seen it before and will happen again.
3519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM Installed in Mexican Senate Building !!! on: May 01, 2022, 05:58:51 AM
But for others, and I'm not going to name them but it's one without KYC and it's also in your country I've seen them running out of 10k euros for withdrawals in a day, and I'm already used to seeing the guys that nearly empties them each week early in the weekend when I go shopping  Wink
Same persons loitering for half an hour around, wads of cash pouring, I open the website to check the status, the batm has no money left !  Cheesy
I've only seen similar situations during peak of the bull market in the late 2017, I remember sometimes waiting for half an hour in queue. Situation in 2019/2020 was completely different and 9/10 times there was nowhere there, neither before or after me and of course, with always enough money inside. Situation might have been the same during this bull run wiwth  people waiting in queues and ATM running out of money but I haven't visited that BATM for almost two years now.

He doesn't have the right "clients".
Yeah I guess. He practically lost me as a client too and now I am using BATM only as a sort of last resort. Why would I pay 6% fee when there are better options to sell bigger amounts, and all that without KYC.
3520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where Bitcoin has been googled the most? on: April 30, 2022, 08:12:29 PM
I am surprised that the countries in Asia only included Singapore on where BTC was googled the most. What happened to China and their support?
Check my previous post and you will find more countries including the Asian ones, the one OP shared was only the top 10. Regarding the China missing on the least, reason is simple: Google is banned in China.

That list could soon be expended with the Central African Republic as the country has become the world's second nation that has adopted Bitcoin as legal tender. The only problem is that very few people have electricity there, let alone mobile phones and internet. Judging by some stats I found, around 11% of the population has access to the Internet. That's a bit more than 550.000 citizens. 14% of the total population have electricity in their homes.
As a matter of fact, Central African Republic is the 2nd on the full list with the 94 score meaning bitcoin term was almost as popular as in El Salvador. The reason why it's missing on the list in the first post is because Google excludes countries with low search volume and as you pointed out that only 11% of the population has access to the Internet no wonder that their search volume is low.
