3501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still staking Bitconnect tokens.. on: March 05, 2020, 10:08:16 AM
I doubt if anyone will want the coin or buy them from you, biconnect scam was one of the few most popular scam in crypto history so I am pretty sure many knew about this scam coin already, either its POS block chain is still running or not says nothing, do not waste your time

Is this shit coin even being traded anywhere? If not then what's the point of staking it and creating a topic about this coin. I do not think any one would agree to buy this coin as my understanding the coin does not have any value.
There is no way anyone would ever buy this coin. Even there are millions of these coins in the markets which has no value and users have just stored them for no reason. Rewarding someone to stake this coin is pretty easy because the coin has no demand. I almost forgot about bitconnect years ago.

I was one of the user of bitconnect but at the end they just exit the markets by giving everyone BCC coins for the amount they invested which were instantly dumped in the markets. That was the time BCC would never ever be used again but I am shocked to see OP expecting some returns from such coins yet after these many years.
3502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you see Markets on Gambling Sites? on: March 05, 2020, 09:34:06 AM
Some gambling platforms offer incentives, promos, events, prizes, and contests to their avid platform users to attract potential users or even to let incentivize those who are loyal to their platform. This is one of the best ways of marketing gambling platforms.
If there are any prescribed way of marketing for gambling houses then I guess no business on gambling will fail but we do see lots of houses go bankrupted; it means marketing must need to be done along with studying gambler's expectations. Without fulfilling what gamblers are expecting, spending any huge level of money for marketing will not fetch any good results.

I mean all the promos and campaigns should be based on gambler's demand rather than conducting them on regular routines. When gambling houses are able to create hype and making gamblers frequent to their houses then hitting consistence success with gambling business might be easier than we are thinking.
3503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Compulsive gambling. on: March 05, 2020, 08:37:24 AM
I believe most gamblers do not recognize themselves as a gambler but they do think like they are making fun out of gambling still they do believe they are not the actual gamblers. Before they are realizing about their addiction, most gamblers are getting addicted to gambling severely. From the point when they are doing self-evaluation, I guess changes to their life will be happening.
I have seen one person very clearly that I am 100% sure that was compulsive gambling... me. I was a lot younger and was probably 7-8 years ago but I personally did gambled a lot back to back without really wanting to do that but couldn't stop myself to chase the losses and eventually lost hundreds of dollars (a lot for me at the time) and to this day I still see it as money well spent because it kept me away from gambling for a long time and even today I do not wager more than 4-20 dollars in any sports or any other gambling thing.

If losing 200 dollars meant that I won't be losing more to gambling in the long term I see that as a good investment to not lose in the future honestly.
3504  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. on: March 05, 2020, 08:03:02 AM
I'm sure most of us are pleased to see that Multi-master promo is back after being sidelineded for a few weeks.

Low stake high reward and at the same time kinda difficult to make it to the top.

No matches from Seria A included in the 15 though, hopefully that stupid virus is contained otherwise we may not have games to bet on.

https://sportsbet.io/promotions/weekend-multi-master
This is probably one of the best parts about sportsbet as well, there are many people who enjoy many different games and we are all under same umbrella somehow managing to be a team together as well. Now normally in any other place it is more like "gamblers vs house" type of situation and I do not want to deem them bad neither because that is how it is everywhere and that works.

However, just because that is happening in other places didn't mean it should for sportsbet and they changed it to "sportsbet vs the world" and we became a team with the sportsbet staff as well. Now we talk about all different kinds of sports, so people like football some like cricket some like tennis some like basketball but we all get together and we support Watford since we sponsored it, technically it was with our money as well so we do feel some sort of connection.
3505  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If we have great ability, is capital from bank loans safe for us to use trade? on: March 04, 2020, 06:54:12 PM
I have a friend who has quite great trading skills, almost every trade he manages to make a profit. But I see he always uses capital
under $ 500.If in my opinion he should use a large capital of at least $ 5,000 to get greater profit. I suggest to him to borrow from
the bank as trading capital, but he refused with the reason too risky and insecure. I want the opinion of you members of this forum,
whether to use capital from bank loans unsecured and risky if used trading by traders who have good skills? even though in my opinion
safe as long as we can make a profit and smoothly repay loan installments to the bank.
I have to say that your friend is really a wise person. He would enjoy smaller profits rather than taking big risk and that is what would never make him face excess loss. I went across a number of people who have similar thought of taking financial loan from banks and utilizing that amount in trading to make profits but have you ever thought what would happen if you face loss with that financial loan and now you do not even have money to pay the EMI of the loans?

This would keep on multiplying your actual loan amount and you would need to pay hefty charges for maintaining your credit line. You might even end up being bankrupt if you do not have proper management and that is the reason why I would prefer each and everyone to stay away from this kind of thinking.

Never be greedy. Your greed is making you ask this.
3506  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What tools are not enough for you to interact with cryptocurrency? on: March 04, 2020, 06:19:04 PM
I guess there are dozens of amazing portfolio tools that you can use plus there are even ones that arranges how much taxes you should pay as well so portfolio is not really a great idea.

However, when it comes to news aggregator that is not a bad idea but also not a one that could make you a lot of money.

If you really want to make something that would both help people out and also earn you money I would highly suggest a platform like fiverr where people could apply for jobs and others could list what they are looking for and you could take a cut from that.

There has been some tries for something like that before but none of them survived for too long since they couldn't find people to list jobs, if you could find business' that can list jobs then that idea could make a ton of money.
There is huge competition for the field OP is gaining interest and it might get challenging to gain some demand but the plan you mentioned might really make him able to get a stable source of income. There is huge demand for platforms offering jobs but majority of such platforms do not care to update new listing and the old listing dominate the main screen which makes a lot of people lose faith from such platforms.

OP might create a platform understanding the exact needs of unemployed people and it might really make him earn great profits. There are a lot of unemployed people as well as there are a number of firms which do not get appropriate employees and hence lack in the completion of work. A better platform to solve these needs can make millions.
3507  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Charts Are Garbage on: March 04, 2020, 05:49:19 PM
Without using the chart, and only depend on the hype, FOMO, and the FUD, he cannot analyze too because he needs to analyze the movements from the chart. So it will have a connection between chart, hype, FOMO, and the FUD so you can analyze better than other traders, and that means, you will have a chance to make a profit.

Crypto charts are not garbage as long as you can use it with the right. You will have a sign or guide to predict where the price will move in the next hours. But you need to have the knowledge to analyze the chart so you will get the other clue besides using the hype, FOMO, and the FUD, and perhaps, you will have a good prediction about the price and the next movements of the coin.

That is what I am saying but we can't just fully rely on the graph and say, "HEY! I know what will happen next, I can see the trend".. with that as your way of predicting the price, that would not give you success, news is the best information and think what the majority would think, then analyze your decision.
Basically you would have to spend lot of your time in learning about the trend. You have to follow news but also you do not have to get affected by the FOMO going around. You have to make your own technical analysis and the charts would be the basic start for this. You have to learn a lot of new things before starting with trading if you want to have profits with minimum loss.

Charts are everything which explains about the trend and the market history so I assume them as the start of my TA. Only charts would never give you profits as earning profits is not that easy. You have to continuously speculate the graphs along with watching various news about updates in the markets. Any small change can lead to a huge price error and we should find our profits from such price gaps.
3508  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A long journey taken short - first and last journal entry of a failed trader. on: March 04, 2020, 03:57:15 PM
"My message to anyone who does read this. If you are trading profitable, great but do everything in your power to keep those gains. Trade once, gain and sit on hands for weeks  For those who are making losses more so than gains, quit. Dont dig down to an umclimbable hole. Cut the emotional attachment. Simply cut the bullshit."

This is real at it gets, most of the time we profit big, and we felt good and became trigger happy.
And suddenly we lose grip of what is happening, losses after losses and we are adamant and says to ourselves that we can bounce back and then we dig ourself to an unclimbable hole.

Thanks again for the reminder and I wish you well and do hope that you can somewhat recover.
I agree with you that we should immediately leave the markets if we are facing constant losses. This would only make you increase the number of debts without any actual profits. Majority of times, traders would only trade back again only to cover their loss but this is where they have to face excess loss by loosing even that trade. Trading is easier but only for those who have some deep experience and knowledge about what they are doing.

Most of the rest people just trade to find some profits and exit the markets but they have to face loss many times. If you can adapt from what made you face loss than you can again start trading with smaller amounts and try testing your limits but never pull yourself too much into the well of losses.
3509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when everybody buys the bottom ??? on: March 04, 2020, 01:20:32 PM
Man, even when Bitcoin was at the rate of $19,000 plus, a lot of people kept buying it and they never stopped. It’s not everyone that knows when the price is at the bottom, most of the people never knows about that.

So, no matter how much the price rate is at you will always find people that are buying and selling their coins. When a lot of people buy at a low price (a bottom price) the price will pump for sure and reach a very high price, but like I have said, people will keep buying it, the market never stops the buying and selling. This is the kind of problem altcoins can face , especially new projects that are still starting up, they get pumped and along the line they are dumped by investors and fail.
3510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum very volatile on: March 03, 2020, 08:38:19 PM
I totally agree with the fact that ethereum has a huge utility and that is one of the main reasons why people are holding ethereum. That is actually the main reason why the team decided to turn it into proof of stake as well since there would be hundreds of reasons for people to hold bitcoin when staking happens.

Even the ICO people who create new projects on ethereum will be able to hold their ethereum funding they receive and with the staking profits they are getting they will be able to pay the staff they have to continue working on it instead of constantly selling their ethereum funding they received which would cause prices to stay higher in the long term as well.
3511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Coronavirus never happened on: March 03, 2020, 07:58:34 PM
I suspect in the long term there would be no problems at all but in the short term it would have been more profitable. In the short term prices of basically everything got affected and that resulted with stock markets and crypto markets and many other stuff to get affected as well, it goes down as little as a hotel in Italy getting its reservations cancelled which hurts the economy slightly to much bigger things like some huge companies stop working with china on manufacturing which causes a big hurt in economy.

However, in 2-3 years when you look back you will realize that nothing changed because all of that will be recovered in that long time period so it won't matter in few years if it happened or didn't happen.
3512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoin will be your favorite this season? on: March 03, 2020, 06:58:20 PM
Which altcoin do you think will be the game-changer this time as most of us have speculated and believe that there will be a bull run post Bitcoin halving, apart from Bitcoin altcoin does give a good return on investment during the Bull run just like how we witnessed last time. I will suggest everyone to choose top altcoins before halving as not everyone can afford to invest into Bitcoin.
I do agree that coins that got created after the 2017 peak times are the real question marks in the community now. They didn't get to see a huge all time high type of price but they din't see a 80% drop neither so they are basically unknown.

I personally like bnb honestly totally unrelated to it but that is only because I use binance for my trading and bnb comes in handy for that which is why I like it so much, I can both invest into it but also use it at the same time, not many other coins I can actually use, I just buy them and hodl them and sell them without doing anything with them at all. In the end whatever you coin you feel attracted to suppose to be the coin you should really buy or at least take a good look into.
3513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus ain't helping on: March 02, 2020, 02:06:32 PM
This is probably the only topic that I have seen people are talking about coronavirus properly. I mean there has been so many topics that talked about corona so high that if you read them you would think we are in a zombie movie and there are millions of zombies out there and we are trying to out run to safety or something.

Sure the disease is a bad one and sure we should be careful and try to not go crowded areas if we are in infected zone so forth but let's calm ourselves, this is simply just a disease and not the end of the world, if you want to see end of the world go look at climate change, that kills more people and animals every year than corona could ever hope for.
3514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: **Best POW/POS newcomer coin in 2020** on: March 02, 2020, 12:55:30 PM
What is the point of this discussion on collecting new POS/POW coins. Because, my concern is there cannot any point of looking for best POS/POW coins in this crypto space. Yes, these coins will be dumped in coming days even they are THE BEST.

From the past experience and observation what I have learned is, people mine or stake such coins by studying its actual potential, still they will dump their rewards at current market and makes finally those coins get delisted from the exchanges. I mean they will choose highly potential (or best in your terms) but they will never prefer to hold the rewards; that is the actual problem here with such POS/POW coins whereas tokenecomic are not facing such problem.
That must be very good point here. Decentralization allows everyone to mint from the supply but people are rushing toward encasing their rewards which will be going against that coin. I completely agree with your point but we must work on a probable solution for encouraging POW/POS coins because with token, you could never get chances to mine which means one important aspect of decentralization is suppressed there. In my opinion, tokens are partially corporate coins as they are the crypto version of stock-like. We should not encourage them.

At the same time, people who mine are not noobs to dump their mining rewards. I mean they will keep on holding when they realize there will be the future of those coins. At the same time, miners will choose coins based on current market value so that they could cover running costs of mining process. Hence, dumping the rewards in inevitable for them but they will opt to hold some 10% to 20% of rewards but based on potential of a coin.
3515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 01, 2020, 05:01:39 PM
After NBA and warriors not getting a three peat this is probably the second wake-up call of how a record is actually quite difficult to break.

In NBA there was a lot of talk about how Warriors are by far the best team NBA has ever seen for a while and they actually even broke 72 game record of Bulls to make it to 73 wins that year as well yet they have managed to lose that season as well. Lakers had the last three peat in NBA and nobody even with Curry-Klay-Durant-Draymond level of talent has ever done it again.

What arsenal has managed in premier league was basically the same, everyone saw Liverpool as a better team this year than arsenal has ever been but Liverpool finally lost and to Watford! nevertheless which shows how INSANE that record arsenal is holding right now is.
3516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin halving make cryptocurrencies reach all time high again? on: February 29, 2020, 06:44:49 PM
I think you need to understand that what you have here is not in any way an analysis, you just wrote a post that doesn’t in any way look like analysis. That the price will go up is just a speculation that people, they are not ready sure about.

Some people are saying that the price will go up because the price went up after the last two Halving, so for them that automatically means that this time around the same thing is going to happen again. And you’re also landing at the same point, and yes you’re right about FOMO, sometimes it can have an effect on the price and cause it to rise. A lot of people will start rushing into it and that will cause price to spike.
3517  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: February 29, 2020, 04:08:46 PM
~snip~
Yea, I realize that... but it is worth testing it for myself .... right. I am hoping for that one big multiplier or that one big win to make up for all the tiny losses.  Grin  When I am at home, I flip between different games with a lower house edge to see what the impact of that would be.

The Sport betting are kicking my a$$, because I only know about 2 to 3 of the Sports on offer there... but hopefully they will add Rugby or something there too, because I know a lot more about that.  Wink  <The AusieRulez is not my thing, I want real Rugby>

The VIP thingy is nice, but they have lots of rules and it is too easy to get banned from the chat, so I am not too focused on that.  Wink
You can focus on the races, that way you can also niche the timing down as well instead of going 7/24, you are already spending a certain amount in every single day which means if you limit that down to just 1 hour or whatever the race takes you can just gamble all that money in that one hour and make more profit from it?

I know it would be riskier when you increase the money from gambling in 24 hours to just 1 hours, it is literally 24 times higher in wagering but at the same time you will have a lot more to earn. In any case I have long forgone the casino part of stake, it used to be something I loved but with sportsbook coming in I can't play anything else, it is really thrilling and I have lost a lot so far but I am sure I will get it back one day.
3518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ATL] ATLANT World's Real Estate Blockchain Platform Price Speculation on: February 28, 2020, 04:33:15 PM
When you want to check a coin, do not check their official pages and their official announcements, check what others are saying about it. Look around here and you will see that many people think it is dead, look at twitter and do not read their tweets, just check under their tweets and you will see that there are many people that call this a shitcoin, look at the volume and you see it is basically dead.

So, basically atlant is gone, it will never recover and the owners basically took the money and did whatever they want with it without caring about what others would think about it. This is one of those coins which only made its creators rich and nobody else. Sure it had a very high spike back in the day and worth something but during those days which coin didn't went up anyway.
3519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities advertise scam ICO again on: February 28, 2020, 03:57:52 PM
I think this "cameo" website hurt a lot of stuff as well. You pay famous people somewhere around 25 dollars to 1000 dollars and you can get them to say whatever you want in their own ways.

There was a lot of controversy when one youtuber hired bunch of NBA players to say horrible stuff for NBA2K game and it was realized at that moment that as long as the famous person doesn't care or not invested in the topic or not a sensitive subject, you can make them say whatever you want and that is quite risky power to give to the people. I can hire 50 very very famous people and make them say that my crypto I just created and worth zero is actually the future of money and they would all lie for the money as well.
3520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to get lucky ;) on: February 28, 2020, 02:51:05 PM
1. Maximize Your Chances to Be Lucky

2. Listen to Your Instincts

3. Expect to Be Lucky

4. Look on the Bright Side
The first point is literally talking about having small base-bet amount. Yes, only with more number of attempts you can get more chances to be lucky at least for one time. To keep on attempting, you must set your base-bet amount to be least possible. Because, with Martingale your base-bet amount will turn to be a bigger one just with two continues losing streaks.

All other points are just a psychological thing in my understanding because you cannot basically do anything other than making your will power to work for yourself. Being positive about being lucky may work or may not work, still you cannot blame anyone.
