3501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Gates: I would put against bitcoin on: May 08, 2018, 04:22:05 PM
Bill Gates is big authority in a way but is he also expert for cryptocurrencies? This is not necessary the situation. Definetely when person like him says something this has certain impact but still we often give to such things too much attention.
To my opinion even not so positive comments said by prominent person could be promotion for Bitcoin.
3502  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are there any new Bitcoin debit cards? on: May 08, 2018, 03:02:30 PM
Currently I'm using Mistertango because I don't have any other choice but I'm not satisfied how it's functioning. I realy mis my Xapo debit card and hope they will be back in the game soon.
It's hard to beleive there is not more interest in such potential like Bitcoin debit cards. Currently there is a big hole in the market waiting for some quality providers to fill it.
3503  Economy / Service Discussion / Are there any new Bitcoin debit cards? on: May 08, 2018, 01:42:54 PM
It's been a while since Wave Crest and Visa issues have happend and at that moment all debit card providers promised to find a new solution soon. Time has passed but I don't see Bitcoin debit cards appearing on the horizont.
Currently the choice is very poor and service very bad and expensive.
Does anyone has some information, are there some cards in preparation stage, like those from Xapo or similar?
3504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is investing in bitcoins today late? on: May 08, 2018, 08:24:31 AM
Depends on your preferences and how much funds you have available but it's actualy never too late to invest. But what might happen is that you miss the right moment for buying and then you invest more then you can take which can lead to potential loss. The key is that you clearly set your strategy and goals, define what you want to achieve with Bitcoin and stick to that plan.
3505  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC almost break 10k on: May 07, 2018, 07:24:01 PM
Just almost but then the price pulled back. Currently I don't have the feeling that Bitcoin will now cross this magic line of 10000$. Probably it will continue to fluctuate somwhere between 9000$ and 10000$ for a while.
If this will be the year when the price will go to 20000$ and beyond we still have to see but even if it doesn't this will not be the end of the world. Bitcoin still has plenty of time for further development and for the price growth.
3506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are the newest critics of Bitcoin. (From CNBC News) on: May 07, 2018, 05:57:17 PM
So what? Their opinion means nothing to me. They are like some so calles authorities but their real influence is exaggerated and people don't think with their own heads but buy everything they hear or read. Just because they have money that doesn't mean they are experts for everything, including cryptocurrencies. Follow your own philosophy, not theirs.
3507  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are common mistakes and problems of the traders? on: May 07, 2018, 11:07:37 AM
The main mistake is that they want too much money in too short periodo of time so they often lack the patience and could be mislead by wrong or incomplete information. Success in trading comes with time and experience and many traders just think how to get rich over night and not how to improve their skills. That often costs them money.
3508  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will touch 20K USD end of 2018. What you think ? on: May 06, 2018, 07:09:39 PM
I think that is possible but I also think that people are just to obsessed with the price and at what time will reach certain value. This is hard to predict and unrealistic expectations can only bring you disappointment.
Still the year is long and there is plenty of time for Bitcoin price to jump high but don't expect such huge and sudden rise like we had at the end of the last year.
3509  Other / Off-topic / Re: Isn't crazy how much does bitcoin exchange earn? on: May 06, 2018, 05:52:39 PM
Exchanges are truly making huge money from transaction charges. The scenario painted by the poster stands and by the time they remove all the running cost incured, you will find out that they still have much left. Besides, they don't answer to government that much, like banks or other financial/payment outfit whose activities are checked from time to time in order to protect customers. So many people's cryptocurrency have been stucked on various exchanges for months and yet unresolved, which means that the exchanges can also sit on some people's money for ever.

Maybe they can't hold it forever but the process to retrieve the money back could be very long term and painful too. It's true that they are obliged with different rules and laws but still some of them are doing their business on the edge of the law so this may have some bad consequences for users.
But let's be honest, cryptocurrency users are those who enable huge profit to exchanges, they just use this business opportunity.
3510  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin volatility prevent adoption? on: May 06, 2018, 12:30:44 PM
Volatility is not obstacle for adoption of Bitcoin but it is the issue for Bitcoin to become mainstream currency.
But to be completely honest volatility is also something that made Bitcoin popular and something that traders live from.
Still I don't think that Bitcoin needs to become mainstream and that volatility needs to be something that can block Bitcoin from further development. Volatility is something that is natural characteristic of Bitcoin and we have to accept it.
3511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do the Super Rich (1%) Think of Bitcoin? on: May 06, 2018, 11:33:33 AM
I think that super rich people don't have interest for Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general. Maybe just very small percantage of super rich would like to invest in Bitcoin. Their focus for money is in some other investment instruments and they find Bitcoin too risky for too small profit for them, often see it as pure gambling.
But with global popularity and acceptance of Bitcoin as well as regulation they might change their opinion.
3512  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading don't work for me too well on: May 05, 2018, 07:37:55 PM
To my opinion trading is not for everyone and not everyone has the potential to be successful trader.
It takes skills and knowledge, experience and a bit of luck. And sometimes a little more patience because often people expect to see profit immediately and in big sum.
So don't give up too soon but also you have to know your limits and when is the time to quit.
3513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is selling Bitcoin? on: May 05, 2018, 07:08:48 AM
I strongly beleive that Bitcoin has the practical purpose. There is no use of it if you keep it in the wallet endlessly.
In some moment you have to sell it and exchange it for fiat or use it for direct payments.
When is the moment for selling each user decides for himself depending on the needs.
It's good to have certain sum of Bitcoin as a saving but Bitcoin is created to be actively used.
3514  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2018 be better than 2017 for bitcoin on: May 04, 2018, 06:56:06 PM
It's hard to tell. 2017 was realy amazing, at least the end of it. Now everyone is expecting this to happen again and even be better, for price to go way up and maybe even reach 50k. This year hasn't started so promising but there is still time to catch up. But I think it's better not to have to big expectations, this could be only average year for Bitcoin.
3515  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin really anonymous? on: May 04, 2018, 05:35:05 PM
Yes bitcoin are anonymously we don't know about who transfer to who i mean a name of person that exactly we just can know where the coin are transfered too

I wouldn't agree with that. At the begininig it was realy anonimous but current situation is quite different. Now there are many methods and techniques that allow not just to trace transactions but also users.
Anonimity has especialy changed for worse with KYC and AML rules for exchanges and many other cryptocurrencies services.
So, don't think you are anonimous by using Bitcoin.
3516  Economy / Speculation / Re: Back to $6000 in 3... 2... 1... on: May 03, 2018, 10:43:37 AM
Don't rush, bitcoin has been unpredictable since then. We can speculate if we want to and think that it will even go $15,000 for the coming days. Forget about the noobs that are doing the wrong way of buying those FUDs and do sell at the lowest point because they do panic and buying when the market is on good hands. The intention of OP as written with the title he thinks that the price will go down to $6,000? Okay we've been stuck at $9,000 and at this moment this makes me have that feeling that the price will go $10,000 next week.

BTC is now at 9k and will make it 10k soon. So if you or OP keep to think it will fall back to 6k and then you will buy then good luck as it may take some months now to go back to that price or probably it will not even go so soon. So just keep looking as a audience if you do not want to invest and make money.

That is true, it can go towards 10000$ but it can also go back to 6000$ or less. Everything is possible with Bitcoin, experience has tought us so but not everything is possible in every moment. It's important how the market is reacting and what are the current factors that influence Bitcoin price, are they positive or negative.
At the moment I don't expect some biger downfall but also not to cross 10000$ so soon.
3517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 15,000usd at the end of Feb for Bitcoin?? on: May 02, 2018, 07:35:30 PM
I am skeptical about the reaching this figure in such short time span but I am optimistic that we will hit $15K within next three months and we will also reach new all time high milestone before Dec 2018.

This only shows how preductions can go wrong and in most cases they are just pure guessing. February is long gone and the price hasn't reached 15000$.
I would also be very careful.with predictions for the rest of the year. I also hope this would be another successful year for Bitcoin but at the moment it looks more like price will stay at current values for some longer period of time. Of course it will change but I don't think we can expect 15000$ any time soon.
3518  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What makes a successful trader, not a gambler? on: May 02, 2018, 06:01:17 PM
Gamblers rely on luck and coincidence and that takes no knowledge. Traders have serious approach to market, they need some knowledge and experiences, a lot of hard work of studying and analyzing the market and how finacial world in general is functioning. They take the risk with caution and estimate their activities.
So I don't think gambler and trader are the same thing and I don't put them in the same basket.
3519  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought at 19k, now what? on: May 02, 2018, 11:10:35 AM
Hope you are not in desperate need for that money.
To my opinion the only right thing you can do is wait. Everything else would lead to huge loss.
Maybe from current perspective it doesn't seem so but I'm convinced that Bitcoin price will reach 20000$  and more again, but it's the question of time. Maybe it will take a long time but it will happen.
In the meantime I hope you've learned something from that experience that will make you a better trader in the future.
3520  Other / Off-topic / Re: Give a man a fish or teach him how to fish on: May 02, 2018, 08:48:06 AM
It's always better to teach people how to fish, this knowledge will serve them on long term and help them in the future. This especialy applies for cryptocurrencies. If you teach people how to deal with them with time their experiences and knowledge will grow and with time they will get more and more expertise in using cryptocurrencies.
