3501  Economy / Speculation / Re: Leaving the bear market behind.. on: June 29, 2015, 10:27:05 PM
the price of bitcoin is rising probably because of litecoin too, because some people can't buy litecoin directly, but they can buy bitcoin directly, so they buy bitcoin first, which mean pumping it, and then exchange for litecoin

that's pure speculation. but certainly not impossible. people can also just deposit fiat into their exchange account and then buy litecoin.
3502  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rally!!!!! on: June 29, 2015, 10:24:09 PM
This, on the other hand, has much more potential in creating an actual rally.

cheers

248$ and increasing,

we were at above 250 some day ago, i'm not satisfied at all, i'll begin to be excited when we touch 260-275 range at least

people get happy just because the price went up a few bucks. that's sad. i get excited once we're over the $300 level. any movements below $300 aren't worth waiting for.

Sad when other people are happy? Maybe you should talk to someone.

you don't understand it. don't you think it's sad when people get extremely happy when the price goes up $2 ? or some people have low standards, also a possibility.
3503  Economy / Speculation / Re: Eyes on Greece? on: June 29, 2015, 08:20:14 AM
Within a few days the bitcoin economy will realize nothing will happten to the price,  the Greeks are not buying btc. We are looking at another long term down trend again.
Don't be fooled.

you and your hundred alt accounts are a comedian. this is a great time for people in greece to get into a safe haven like bitcoin where their shitty government can't harm them.
3504  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to buy? on: June 29, 2015, 08:17:21 AM
Is it a good time to buy now?

Or would it be better to wait until it goes under $300?

Will it go under $300?  Huh
YES! It's a very good time to buy now bitcoins. After 2017 the price of bitcoin has never comes under $300 again.

still have a lot time for wait until 2017, the price of bitcoin still can falling down under $200

what's so special about 'after 2017' ? you mean after the block halving in 2016, right? current price looks good. don't think it will fall under $200 anymore.
3505  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: June 29, 2015, 08:09:40 AM
not having to deal with banks and other companies to store/spend my money. i can send as much money as i want without any one saying you can't do this.
3506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin was accepted everywhere would you use it? on: June 28, 2015, 08:14:33 PM
like most bitcoiners i would be extremely happy to use my coins everywhere. at this point it's more of a dream, but it's definitely not impossible.
3507  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tony Gallippi of BitPay suggests $600 by September on: June 28, 2015, 03:35:38 PM
i would at least expect him to not say anything that is not likely to happen. especially if you're from bitpay. if he said after the halving, that would be much more of a realistic prediction.
3508  Economy / Economics / Re: Grexit on: June 28, 2015, 03:31:34 PM
Greece will rise after that exit. needs time to adjust in new environment,

if this is indeed the case, then other weak euro countries will also decide to leave in order to get the same effect. that will have a huge negative impact on the remaining euro countries.
3509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Volatile Bitcoin still isn't money on: June 28, 2015, 03:28:09 PM
bitcoin can be everything. gold 2.0 , a currency, investment, place where you store value. for each person bitcoin can be something different. no need to give it a certain name.
3510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ..Who owns this wallet?? on: June 28, 2015, 03:25:13 PM
a huge pool or more likely an exchange. there are more wallets like this where there were so many receiced coins. nothing special.
3511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is this guy showing bitcoin logo to the world ? on: June 27, 2015, 10:47:46 PM
lol is that real? if it is then he must have wanted for the world to see that picture. maybe he's sending a message to the world, something like "get the hell off of fiat!"  Grin

It's him, i know him irl and i'm sure he did it on purpose

What purpose? introducing Bitcoin to the world?
I think it's a nice idea Cheesy

the purpose of making people from greece aware that they can exchange their worthless fiat currency for bitcoins. that's how they can get rid of their crappy government and their system.

3513  Economy / Speculation / Re: Long Time Lurker Here. I feel Bitcoin is about to push, pounce, upwards. on: June 27, 2015, 02:06:10 PM
you're not the first and definitely not the last who have got that "feeling" , i also have a feeling. i feel that the price will go up or down within a month....
3514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why consumers are not adopting BTC on: June 27, 2015, 02:02:39 PM
according to me, these might be some of the reasons for this
trust- they might not trust bitcoin
knowledge - obviously they wont be having any knowledge without using it
they would be thinking it as risk full system too.
i agree especially about the risk part, history showed that bitcoin price is volatile while it can go up and make you rich, it can go down too as we can see in the past few months.
i also want to add that accepting bitcoin as a payment is going to be an extra work in some cases and it might not have enough customer to justify the work.

accepting bitcoin as merchant isn't extra work. everything gets done for you. if you don't have enough custommers then it doesn't cost you a penny. no extra work.
3515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you pay for a hardware wallet? on: June 27, 2015, 01:58:12 PM
for me personally the absolute max would be €30 which i find a reasonable amount for a hardware wallet. i currently use usb drives to store my coins. sandisk drives that cost me €8 for 16gb back then.
3516  Economy / Speculation / Re: Correction on Chinese stock exchanges - any impact on bitcoin? on: June 27, 2015, 09:53:03 AM
as long as bitcoin has a small market cap it won't be a good place for moving your value from stocks to bitcoin. but it will come. just a matter of time. no one wants to see his investment go down 10-20% within a day.
3517  Economy / Speculation / Re: back to 220 tomorrow time to sell is now on: June 27, 2015, 09:50:11 AM
I think I read OP sold his coins before the big ATH so now he's mad at himself basicly and wants bitcoin to fail because he didn't make millions like he could have.

He sold at 10$, yet expects people to listen to his investment advice.

kwukduck is a liar. he didn't sell at $10 he just want you guys to believe that. 99% of what he is saying makes 0% sense. just like other bears. bears are nothing more than people who love bitcoin but want you to lose bigtime and then buy your cheap coins.
3518  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: June 27, 2015, 09:42:24 AM
In these days i love to exchange money from bit-x and btc-e. Mostly using bit-x because of their 0% trading fees, till december. Its also recommmended to you people.
i agree. and i am not only saying this because i am wearing their signature, but the 0 free while you are trading a lot is such a nice bonus to have in your pocket.

Bit-X has been added in the OP.

i think its a good site because they wanted to improve themselves they have a good sig campaign in which they are paying more than 20 btc each month they really wanted to go to moon
thats impressive how they can afford that, their business have to be really good i mean they make more than 20 bitcoins only from fees? Shocked

if you read back a few posts you would know that bit-x has no fees till december. which indicates that currently bit-x is spending way more than there is money comming in.
3519  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cost of Bitcointalk Accounts. on: June 27, 2015, 12:50:45 AM
well we all pay for something on internet ,currently accounts has some worth because campaigns ,if they gone the account worths gone as well soo i like to build my reputation by my self without invest thinking on ROI IN 2 OR 6 WEEKS im sr member i dont remember really when i started to post ,i joined campaign ads with an help from a friend that told me that were possible to get paid for activity and posts... i didnt believed before now in on my third week and well i regret didnt try it before anyway .
I had roi several times why? all i spend here is my free time soo if i get paid for it well i dont need to invest nothing besides time.

time is a valuable investment. there are high ranked members who are able to make hundreds of posts per week/month, these get good money. but it costs them a lot time and effort to keep the quality up.
3520  Economy / Speculation / Re: Amazon is going to accept bitcoin in the near future on: June 27, 2015, 12:40:58 AM
is always good to hear that from a big company like amazon, but i dont beleive his reply since they didnt accept paypal yet for example, so i didnt know what to think about it.

btw as i sayd, would be awesome if they do it, lot of big companys will do the same after see it.

maybe that they just don't incorporate bitcoin because of the blocksize. if such a company indeed accept bitcoin as form of payment, then it will result in full to nearly full blocks if it turns out that amazon sells a lot via bitcoin.
