3501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 16, 2021, 12:47:29 PM

In the final 2 minutes of Game 4, some analysts are looking at 2 situations wherein Suns can turn the game into them, one is the Booker's drive at the bucket asking for a foul and Chris Paul's turnover that leads to Bucks fastbreak that result into Booker's final foul.

For me, that analyst is biased even I'm Bucks to win the series. Simply, for let's say those didn't happen, obviously, Bucks will have a different approach. Just move on as a win is a win. Smiley

And correct me if I'm wrong but I think Game 4 is the first time that Middleton leads the Bucks in points this playoff with Giannis on board. Looks they really got inspired and encouraged by those criticisms on Game 1 and 2. Good thing lol. Anyways, the Bucks should be aware that those Suns' key players who have an off-night performance on Game 4 will come back aggressively on Game 5, on which they really should or else.

Skip Bayless doesn’t think Giannis and co can win an NBA championship without the controversial official

If the Bucks will win the championship and Giannis will be the Finals MVP, I'm expecting he will make a statement that it should be Khris Middleton. Cheesy
3502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 15, 2021, 11:57:09 PM

I've now found the answer to my small question, there will be no audience at the venue. The PBA doesn't like to follow yet the other countries doings even with a limited capacity. They will just consider it once the situation in Metro Manila improves so in my own view, that will be next year. They are also discouraged by the IATF to not allow spectators on the game even with a limited capacity.

But Marcial hinted that who knows in the playoffs of the second conference, they will now allow small spectators. It means after the All-Filipino Cup, there might be a chance to continue to the second conference since looking at the game schedule, it will end on August 27. If we will estimate it, the All-Filipino Cup will end in September.
3503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 14, 2021, 11:53:50 PM
Is it just me or is anyone else more excited or more interested in the Olympic basketball games than they are the championships going on right now?  This championship series, while I have been paying attention, is about as boring as I've ever seen.

I got the picture if that's how you see the current NBA Finals or maybe your bet team was unfortunately eliminated.

However, I don't feel the same. Every NBA championship is a good watch to me even right at the start of the Playoffs. It's even better today as we don't see the usual teams and faces in the Finals. Already made a good profit too out from betting.

The saying that if only Nets are healthy is another story of "what if" scenarios just like the Phoenix Suns rally this playoff against Lakers in 1st Round, Nuggets in 2nd round, and Clippers in Conference Finals.

And not just with the teams playing in the Finals right now, our respective gambling bets are adding some excitement to the game.
3504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggestions for Long-Term Investment on: July 14, 2021, 11:29:59 PM
According to the present market scenario, several good currencies, such as XRP, TRX, and others, are decreasing due to various causes.I recommend investing at least $10,000 in XRP, TRX, and other similar currencies, since these coins will soon yield a significant profit margin.

We have different criteria, analysis, factors, and considerations in choosing our preferred coins for our portfolio so if that's your view towards the coins you have mentioned, you are free to invest in them. It's your precious money after all.

However, recommending coins to others should be made in good practice as newbies might follow it easily. While recommending some coins to invest, always put a disclaimer that always does a self-DYOR rather than just to listen to others. That's the reason why I don't recommend a set of altcoins when someone is asking a question if what coins should be put as an investment.
3505  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Strategic tips experts use to trade Bitcoin on: July 14, 2021, 11:09:20 PM
You will also avoid losing your hard-earned cash while trading Bitcoin.

Let's rephrase this statement into "you will minimize the risk of losing your hard-earned cash while trading bitcoin following those advices".

There's no such thing as perfect trade. Even professionals and hardcore traders are still losing today so it's not good to say to newbies that by just following those pointers on the list, they will able to avoid losing.

It's even good that sometimes we lose so that it can be our reference on our future trades. Those losses will teach us to become good traders while in progress.
3506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taxes on gambling send the right message? on: July 14, 2021, 10:54:33 PM
However, other countries simply set high taxes to these activities, which I think is a false morality, as if by paying these activities can be less questionable. (Note: I personally do not question regulated gambling).

We can compare it to the usual sin tax which just makes sense that their tax is higher because whatever the circumstances, situations, and even amid the global pandemic, they can generate an insane revenue as activities under it are already part of people's daily social life.

On the other hand, having a high tax was also a formed to discourage people from involving in it although like I mentioned, since it's now a part of people's usual activity, they will found a way to spend money on it e.g liquors, cigarettes, and gambling. Another advantage of this high tax is, illegal gambling operators that don't want to comply with the high tax, will be aggressively shut down by the authorities since the government doesn't have benefits for it. Other operators will be forced to pay the tax for them to make it legal and that will be an advantage to the government.

Can you mention a gambling-friendly country that sets an insane high tax on gambling or the country you are referring here in the subject? Or if you are pointing about the other threads like Nigeria or Ukraine if I remember it right, the government there has its own reason why they decided to put a high tax on it and we can't generally apply it to all other countries.
3507  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you miss buying games on Steam by paying with bitcoin? on: July 14, 2021, 10:34:46 PM
Perhaps many don't know, but Steam accepted Bitcoin payments some time ago, but stopped in the same year (2017).

Do you buy Games paying with Bitcoin? Electronics, headsets, peripherals, etc. Paying with Bitcoin, LN or Altcoins?

Yes, I'm aware that Steam is accepting bitcoin payments before but I don't actually take it as a big deal nor think of using bitcoin payment to purchase some games there. My reason is just simple, there is a much convenient way available in our country to purchase games there.

But for let's say only crypto payment is the most convenient way for me to purchase games there, I will consider using it as long as I really like the game. Like for example here, although ETH was used as a payment method and it's not a direct payment to Steam, I badly needed that game so I consider buying it with my crypto
3508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 14, 2021, 10:14:45 PM
They will allow audiences to watch games?? I just hope that it will not be overcrowded but hey I forgot that even though there aren't any pandemics, the number of audiences watching the game is still few so.. yeah no differences Cheesy. Still boring as it is so it is better to just watch on home than going there, watching a boring match.

That's a fact. Actually, I posted that too before that prior pandemic, PBA audience is not that great except when BGSM is on the playoffs to Finals or any teams at the Finals. However, it's not that games will always be boring, like for example it's not always NorthPort vs DYIP or BlackWater vs NLEX lol, so expect that there will still some people who will watch the game live.

And for the record, last 2019, I able to watch 6 games live at the venue, even watching those farms teams, since like I mentioned, I was nearby Ynares and Smart-Araneta in Cubao. It's only on MOA Area that I'm not able to watch live because I don't want to travel there during rush hour. About 25-30 minutes travel time from our home on usual traffic. Yes, the crowd is sometimes few especially on 1st game even it's Ginebra.  And sometimes free tickets are given to us (one of my friends is working in....) so take the opportunity, always at Upper B for free tickets but a good spot already for a good view. Smiley
3509  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: July 14, 2021, 09:57:18 PM

3510  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: July 14, 2021, 09:39:07 PM
I have been a day trader but want to know if it’s a good idea to hold bitcoin for long, whether it will be more profitable?

Hodling bitcoin for long won't increase the quantity of your bitcoin. You need to accumulate for it.

What is your purpose by the way? If you are doing great in day trading then just stick with it as again, hodling bitcoin is just literally waiting for your dream price to achieve. Also good for those who don't want to feel the pressure of doing day trades.

Why not give it a try. Give it a month or two and see if will be profitable to you. Although we don't if there will be a big price change within that period.
3511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sexy casinos on: July 14, 2021, 09:23:11 PM

It's been ages already where sexy figures are involved in casinos especially on land-based or physical.

A common and usual environment for an entertainment establishment on which part of entertaining the people. Is it bad? Definitely no. There might a few cases of abuse but that was a different story.

But prior to asking us here, what do you actually mean for "sexy casinos" because there are also adult-based games.
3512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 14, 2021, 05:06:52 AM

The game schedules are now released.
https://www.facebook.com/168046639878446/posts/4874736492542747/

It was posted on their Facebook page. The PBA site is not updated yet but for sure it will be there too later on.

As we can see, triple headers every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and double headers every Saturday. The venue is only on Ynares Center, just few kilometers at my place, although I don't know if few audience will be allowed since it's a semi-bubble.

3513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do whales manipulate the market? on: July 13, 2021, 01:39:29 PM

Technically, whales can shake the market but for a whole manipulation to happen, it needs everyone's cooperation so what they do is to trigger something, either uptrend, and downtrend, and that's it.

Bitcoin might be heavily manipulated before but today, we can see that it's not the case. The downtrend happened because others follow the speculations. It's not totally controlled by someone or some groups. It's just that, they triggered something to shake the market.

For low cap coins, we can say that these are heavily manipulated since there are lots of bagholders. They can shake the market just by doing a large buy and sells without the need for other's participation.
3514  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies replace fiat currencies on: July 13, 2021, 11:18:23 AM
With the passage of time and the increase in value, will cryptocurrency be used in the world instead of fiat currency?

Even you count on decades or centuries, the physical form of money will always exist. It even evolves as most payments now are digital and cashless (encouraged during the global pandemic) but it doesn't mean it's all about "crypto" in general.

The discussion was been in talks even before. You might want to browse some people's views before and compare if there's a change about it today.

3515  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Philhealth + Crypto = Fake News? (Pero what if) on: July 13, 2021, 10:36:54 AM

No need for a much technical discussion about this since I don't know bakit sineryoso ng Philhealth yang article na yan (can you link me sa post ng Philhealth?). I've remembered the day na nabasa ko yan and may kinalaman yan sa April Fool's day.

Try ko hanapin iyong pinaka post pagkauwi ko and sana nandoon pa sa Facebook page ng Crypto In Asia.

Di puwede yan at yari sila audit. Saka iyong 15 Billion is di iyong one-time big time na pagkawala. Yan bale ung total amount na na-subject sa corruption over year/s.

Di yan makakaapekto sa crypto industry as a whole. Napakarami pang mas malala dyan na nangyari in the past pero ang Bitcoin or crypto as a whole is standing strong at honestly, mas dumarami pa ang mga na-involved.

In the long-run, if makaapekto man, expect na malalampasan ng crypto markets yan. Ilang beses na ba nasubok ang crypto since inception and we all know where it always end up.

All in all, attempt ito para daw ma prevent ang money laundering which is plausible naman.

Bigyan kita example.
3517  Local / Pamilihan / Re: muyan66, scam? on: July 13, 2021, 05:59:37 AM

Sinasabi na nga ba. Wala pang isang buwan to di ba?

Last weekend nagkaroon pa ako ng argumento sa isang inuman session. Ang dapat na chillax session naging heated session kasi nga pinagpipilitan kong scam yang Muyan66 (nakainom na that time kaya di rin papatalo haha). Paying naman daw at anytime pwede magwithdraw kaya lang kahit saang anggulo tingnan, scam na scam talaga e at ginamit nila ang 5% guaranteed profits everyday para makahikayat then pag na-busted ibabalik daw nung teacher ung natalo basta natalo iyong user gamit iyong tips ng teacher.

Oo parang talpakan yan.
3518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You got a pifzer ? Then you can be eligible for lottery in Poland. on: July 12, 2021, 11:59:39 PM
One of the factors on why people get sick after taking a shot is totally depending on someones health or body condition.

I also feel dizzy and got a fever for about a day after I have taken a vaccine shot but as recommended, I just take a Paracetamol. Several weeks have passed now, and I feel much better. I got vaccinated mandatorily because of the nature of my work. It really depends on the person's reaction to the vaccine so we can say there's a possibility that it might become worst for others but good to some.

As a perk, I've now entitled to some discounts and no problem anymore bringing a medical health certificate which is a burden for us who always travel outside the capital. No lottery perks here in my country so these people that have lottery perks are fortunate to have a chance to win decent bucks if they are too lucky enough to be picked.
3519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigerian government changing the state of lotteries on: July 12, 2021, 11:36:04 PM

That's a good initiative of the government there. With good regulations, expect that it will also follow good taxation on which will result in good distribution.

The lottery is one of the most recognized gambling in any country and if people will see that the government is putting good regulations on it, they might catch more of people's interest.

Reading the article, I've just realized that aside from the national lottery, there are lots of lottery operators there. The reason maybe why the government wants to change or modify the state lottery system there.
3520  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is Nuxbet legitim ? on: July 12, 2021, 11:17:42 PM
i ask because i like very much of betop sportbook, but his limits are one of the smallest is the market for non top markets sports.

Why put yourself in much confusion.

If only for concerns about betting amount limits, you can consider other popular crypto sportsbooks.

Or what do you really want so we can sort this thing out and direct you to a sportsbook that is closed to your criteria.
