3501  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $20 Steam account credit for only $2! BiPolarDeal! on: June 10, 2016, 05:06:27 AM
Quite surprising, OP was full of shit, not that we didn't know that from the beginning anyway.
So were all others aswell (and will be, most possibly).
BPB being active is definite proof of that.

Hey BPB,
just for confirmation,
obviously none of the recently popping up BiPolarBob# accounts were acutally you, right?

~Lutpin
No, but I saw them too. So I came back to show that the original BPB account is still active. That should stop any arguments that the original account was "lost"  Smiley
3502  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer report: james.lent is a known scammer = Sunil Nair on: June 10, 2016, 04:46:24 AM
Did you send James Lent a PM that you posted this so that he is aware that you are calling him out and so he can answer back
I did. I trust james, this over here stinks, let's hear him out.

Why exactly can't you post this directly here/screenshots to your chat history?
I'm not gonna download some bullshit, if you want to show us something, do it here.
3503  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: New sub-forum on: June 10, 2016, 03:08:46 AM
I think the more diverse the forum, the better.
I think a forum dedicated to bitcoin discussion (or talk) doesn't really need to be "diverse", at least not in this aspect.
There's a reason P&S is sorted under "Other", it's not the focus of this board.
Besides that, creating "ghost"-subforums with very little activity and just a hand full of threads creates (pointless) ramification, not diversity.

It is how you attract a large audience, I think that's what the administrator wants.
Maybe not the kind of audience you would want to get?
Also, last time I checked, there was no problem in terms of popularity.

What the administrator does not want is spam.
I'd have no problem calling 90% of the section this thread is about exactly that.
3504  Other / Meta / Re: Signature-free week on: June 10, 2016, 02:58:40 AM
The people who are always in the discussion threads will stop posting because there's no point in posting if there's no signature campaign.
You're wrong. The ones solely posting for their signature earnings will stop posting, so far I agree. But on the other hand, most of them don't contribute much to a discussion anyway, do they?
On the other hand, there are many reasons for engaging in a discussion besides signature earnings.

There'd be some people who'd continue posting though for the sake of keeping their accounts alive and to make them seem that they don't mind not getting paid by posting.
There'd also be those people who either have never been part of a signature campaign or have not altered their way of posting by being in a signature campaign (both were still existent, last I've heard), which would not at all be influenced by this "signature-fee week" (besides their earnings dropping for the latter, which wouldn't change their posting style).

gotta understand signatures means business. It's what makes users stay.
Fun fact: It's also what makes users leave.

That being said,...

The idea is stupid -snip-
3505  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: New sub-forum on: June 10, 2016, 02:40:06 AM
If it was up to me, P&S would be a sub-forum of Off-Topic anyway, most of the content there is utterly plain bullshit to start with.
That being said, let us keep working on the bitcoin focused parts of this site called bitcointalk, instead of wasting time with what The Pharmacist perfectly described with "almost like a conspiracy theory website".
3506  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFLE] LuckyBit Collectors Edition #7 of 10 (Multiple prizes) on: June 10, 2016, 02:06:22 AM
I see some people in here are dying for this to start, in that case, let me try and help a little.
I'll take #3 (a3334ad44ecfcffd85ae35fe9958f90f4268e78e71da243338bf0d46de49451c).

EDIT - Just a feeler - Would I be eligible for a slot?
Maybe.

I've discussed with DarkStar_ (who was the first to apply for a spot after I announced it) and we came to a mutual agreement,
which is why he will be the one filling that spot.

I've updated the OP with the Pastebin made by Shorena. If there are any errors, please let us know.
ICOO just paid their participants and can be moved to active (4 open spots).
BitBoku.co will be closed down after their first payment (probably later today) and can be removed.

Both changes are included (aswell as some minor fixes in formating) here

3511  Other / Meta / Re: Are rules enforced equally? on: June 09, 2016, 04:30:54 PM
From what I've seen they will usually let someone evade their ban after some time has past and they follow the rules.
Any base for that allegation?
Like a clear case of evidential ban evasion that is known to moderation, but went unpunished?

Do certain users fall under a different set of rules than other users?
Ideally, they shouldn't.

Is there a secret hierarchy that is not visible to regular users?
Something like the free mansons? Cheesy

Can one evade the permaban whereas another one can not?
If you get caught, that should always result in your other accounts being banned permanently aswell.
A permanent ban is being given for a cause, I don't see any reason why staff should ignore the evading.
Accounts being unbanned are a different thing, even though we don't see that one often.

Do exactly what is described in the sticky thread in this section on how to act in a situation like this:
Recovering hacked accounts or accounts with lost passwords

Is KWH and Lutpin still active members here?
They haven't responded yet in regards to removing the negative trust in my account :/
You took over one month (after there was a scam accusation posted, at which point you already haven't had made any repayment in a long time) to repay your debt,
and when I take 1 day to respond to your thread/PMs, you question whether or not I'm still an "active" member?!

You demand pictures and pictures are what you should get. Here are mine:

And of course the most interesting part, my doodle:

As of feedback, everything went perfectly. Looking forward to the next one. Grin

Thank you for taking care of this forum, Cyrus. It must be a job that requires strong nerves and you guys definitely have them.
And with this yobit sponsored comment, we'll be closing this discussion.

Thanks for cleaning up, Cyrus.
As the account in question won't make trouble again and I also most certainly won't have to report any post/thread by them (with this thread as reference) anymore, it has served it's purpose.
