3501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: January 01, 2017, 07:58:14 AM
Drugs are bought with Bitcoins just like any other currency. But what makes a huge difference is, Bitcoins are used largely for buying drugs. Its the main criticism against bitcoins. I dont know how buying drugs using bitcoins can be controlled.
No one can prevent people to buy drug using bitcoin, becouse bitcoin is in individual control. But buy drugs is such as useless thing. There is no profit from kill our self using drugs, we better to do trade.
there is no benefit from the transaction of drugs by using bitcoin. it will only end in failure. but, we can not rule out, that bitcoin is always used as a tool to deal drugs. Well, there are many people who say it is better to trade, but I think people are addicted to drugs would not say that.
3502  Economy / Speculation / Re: Happy new year 2017 if Bitcoin price reaches 2000 dollars on: December 31, 2016, 02:58:21 PM
still hoping that it will happen, although the possibility is very difficult. but my expectations in 2017, I would like to see the price of bitcoin stable at prices above $ 1,000. I believe, then, will be very many positive things will happen. for example, the popularity of bitcoin increases, trust increases the value of bitcoin, and much more.
3503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you regret spending money on this year? on: December 31, 2016, 01:38:37 PM
Well, I guess I was too wasteful in my personal matters. to be honest, I actually spend the money I have for things that are not necessary, and I am aware of it at the end of the year. Well, I hope that in 2017, I could be better in managing my finances, because I really wanted to buy a house on the money that I collected myself.
3504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 31, 2016, 10:21:37 AM
Today the match between Chelsea vs Stoke City. matches end of the year will be very enjoyable.
This will be the final match of a great year, and in the match between Chelsea vs Stoke City, I would bet on Chelsea and I believe the score is over 1.5 goals with odds @ 2.23
3505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin gambling idea on: December 31, 2016, 10:15:23 AM
Well, first you have to think of is a very attractive appearance, and easy to understand. it will make you bring in so many people who want to learn to play gambling. in addition, make a bonus roll, will make the arrival of senior gambling players, and free hunter in gambling. You may also be on sale towards the greatest gift would you give if they win.
3506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: December 31, 2016, 10:12:00 AM
Bitcoin will make them lose control of the financial system and what government do is to control and be in charge of things especially the financial control, see what is happening in Venezuela and India presently
I think bitcoin could make the economic system of a country becomes worse if the government does not know how to cope with it. Well, I do not know how the economic system is running, but I just felt that bitcoin will bring good apda countries that receive them, but most people say that it would create a bad impact if bitcoin accepted. Well, maybe the state revenues will be reduced, because the local currency also act as government revenue.
3507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: December 29, 2016, 02:59:12 PM
If bitcoin is banned then the chance to get adopted by many countries will not exist because banning bitcoin will result for having bad reputation to others and development for bitcoin will be hard because for sure the authorities will arrest people who try to help in improving bitcoin since they didn't obey the law.
Well, it proves that with specify a bitcoin, will be very much the crisis. as we know that 20% of the world population, have made their main income from bitcoin, even very many who develop it by creating businesses that accept bitcoin. it may be bad for the country where people are bitcoin hunters like china and india.
3508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Analysis ETH on: December 29, 2016, 02:49:03 PM
At the moment it looks like it has a small rebound

so far, I feel that the prices are getting down eth. I am not sure that eth could be a good investment in 2017, although in 2016 eth provide a high enough profit. well, I just felt that eth will not survive with the emergence of various the new coins from ico.
3509  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: December 29, 2016, 02:36:22 PM
maybe now is the right time to hold bitcoin what you have. you may be sorry when you do not sell bitcoin that you have when the price has reached more than $ 1,000. yeah, but if you're planning to make an income in the long term, the investment may be very good for you. for now a good investment is to create a business site, you just need to promote it properly.
3510  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: December 27, 2016, 11:18:34 PM
for now I think that it is better to invest than to just save the money you have. altcoin investment in new, especially for altcoin created by ico might be able to make a profit in large quantities. well, it was better than just saving money that you have, because if you invest it, you can earn in a month.
3511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: December 27, 2016, 11:05:36 PM
bitcoin need altcoin even bitcoin can be traded in other currency like dollar
its still help the bitcoin in demand bitcoin will not reach this price without altcoin
some altcoin do their own advertising and user will end up investing in bitcoin
because some altcoin is only tradable in bitcoin
Well, bitcoin and altcoin may need each other. without bitcoin, perhaps altcoin enthusiasts for very little, and vice versa, without altcoin, bitcoin prices may not be as high as today. Well, bitcoin and altcoin both need each other, and complement each other. so, without both, may be lacking.
3512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin is the sleeping giant on: December 27, 2016, 11:01:42 PM
But is it possible ltc goes back to $40 in 2017?

Thoughts?

Everything is possible, there is so much space left to grow! Buy & HODL! Or HODL and HODL and SELL >500$ ;-)
we will not know what will happen, but I felt that it would actually happen. LTC is a sleeping giant, so, when the price began to rise, I think the price could exceed $ 40 for 1 LTC. I agree with you, we need to do for now is to buy and hold until the price rose more than 100%
3513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: December 22, 2016, 10:51:36 PM
20 years again is still long time, I can't imagine bitcoin, but I estimate bitcoin 20 years again will be replaced with a better money system, the same as Paypal which is now starting to be abandoned.
yes that is a fact that 20 years is a long time and it is difficult to predict about bitcoin from early. but we can only hope that at that time bitcoin will be more popular and people will be using it as fiat currency.
in 20 years time more governments and people in general will adopt bitcoins and will be well known  as can be witnessed in most government financial crisis states like Venezuela
I believe that it will happen. 20 years from now, bitcoin will be ranked as the top of all currencies, and I'm sure everyone has had their wallet in smartphone they have. at that moment, you can conduct transactions wherever you are using bitcoin.
3514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If bitcoin prices rise up to $100,000, will you still gamble using bitcoins? on: December 21, 2016, 09:19:44 AM
if it is profitable, maybe I'll use it. but with values as high as it is, I might be more inclined to save bitcoin I have because bitcoin prices are high. I believe at that bitcoin is very difficult to get. so maybe I will not be frequently gamble in using bitcoin.
3515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there new people coming to Bitcoin? on: December 20, 2016, 09:56:30 AM
Im speaking with people that  are interested in bitcoins. They does not know absolutly anything about it, and yet they are not hostile towards it. I see them as possible future bitcoin users, so there are obviously a people that join the community on a daily basis.
there are many among them who do not know what is bitcoin, and many of those who study it. every day, bitcoin users is increasing, it indicates that very many people are starting to use bitcoin. I am very sure, when prices reached $ 1,000 bitcoin, then people will flock to look for bitcoin. I also predicted, a time when many jobs that pay their employees with bitcoin.
3516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: December 19, 2016, 03:08:17 PM
When do you stop? Do you have a daily limit or something?

Yes, I do actually. I'm trying not to gamble more than 2 hrs per day, but sometimes, when participating in poker tournament where I'm among the top players, it's hard to stop, so I play more. My problem with gambling is that it is a time consuming thing, not money consuming like for some others because I play for free mostly or with very small amounts.
I also always set a time limit when I'm playing, to make sure I was not in a state of severe addiction. Well, I always leave about 1-2 hours in gambling every day if I play. when I've won, or lost, when it was more than two hours, then I will stop. Well, that's how I know when I stop playing.
3517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used for Good? on: December 19, 2016, 02:46:41 PM
its true that bitcoin is being used more at the negetive side like dealing at the darknet, opening some ponzies and all but bitcoin is being used for many good side too like popular exchange and open source programming world
may be used bitcoin mostly only for things that are negative, but, at this time has been different. most users bitcoin, has received bitcoin as a currency. so, many are using bitcoin to things that are negative, such as, business, investment, and create a lot of money by trading. Well, I guess today bitcoin has been used for good purposes.
3518  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to expect the next big drop in BTC? on: December 18, 2016, 02:42:38 PM
I do not expect bitcoin prices will drop, but if it will happen, I think it would be very long. bitcoin price reduction will only occur if bitcoin is not used anymore, or going on the issue saying that bitcoin will soon be banned by world governments. it could make bitcoin prices declined, and I'm sure it will not happen.
3519  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: December 18, 2016, 02:23:06 PM
I don't think Bitcoin will ever replace the dollar or euro. One of the facts is that it's price is very volatile. But I do think that it will become mainstream one day.  Roll Eyes
I strongly agree with you. It's really hard to do that. Bitcoin could just be one of he highest value just like gold but not as fiat, each country won't allow that to replace their respective currency which each country represents.
Yes, Bitcoin can not be compared with a centralized exchange. It is an alternative currency, and will never replace the Fiat. This is completely different system. On each of them has its own factors
for the moment, I do not think that bitcoin is able to replace the dollar, as I'm sure it would have a major adverse effects. but, I believe, that in the future, bitcoin able to compete with the dollar, even I feel that bitcoin will be recognized as an international currency, like the dollar for the time being, even today the majority of users bitcoin has been aware of it.
3520  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: December 17, 2016, 04:48:59 PM
This thread should not be created, the answer is very easy and the question is very simple. One click in google then problem solve. Maybe next time a thread that will be created is something worth discussing for.

Sure, but there's not that much to say about bitcoin so we like to rehash the same shit over and over again for our signature campaigns.  If we googled everything we'd never make any money.

You can find full specter of opinions about virtually anything in Google. You can even find people who are earnestly believing that the Earth is flat and Elvis still alive (and a lot of similar bullshit). But would Google tell us that you have been "mining and buying [Bitcoin] for six years" and could potentially "move the price $100 alone" if you chose so? I mean apart from cashing Bitcointalk? In other words, do you consider yourself as a Bitcoin "controller", at least, to a certain degree?

Do you feel the power and magic?

Of course I am. So are you. Everyone that uses young technology controls it. If we, as a small group of users, decided to stop using Bitcoin tomorrow and sell out it would disappear. Collect up a small group of users with say 5000 coins each and get them to start dumping and the price would crash. A crashing price causes a panic and more selling.

Several studies of early mining showed that Satoshi premined over a million btc. If Satoshi really is one person and decided to create a better virtual currency he might want to move people away from Bitcoin first. He could even get the day traders to stop using Bitcoin. All he would have to do is start dumping coins and create a run on the price. Others would follow and start dumping. Every time the downward momentum slowed Satoshi jumps back in and starts dumping until it hits the bottom. Then he waits for a small recovery and dumps again. He has enough coins to do that dozens of times. Do that enough and traders will find a new toy to play with.

That's the big joke surrounding all the discussions of a government taking over mining to destroy Bitcoin. Why set up all that equipment and operate it when they could simply contact a few private owners, threaten them and buy huge stashes of Bitcoin off book. Then they follow the above procedure to keep the exchange rate dumped. Bitcoin has almost no real economy right now. Remove trading from the picture and Bitcoin will be valueless. Oh sure, there are a handful of people that would use it like trading cards. Hell, I'm sure their are a handful of people still using Commodore 64 consoles too but I don't think they're ever making a comeback.

So Satoshi Nakamoto controls Bitcoins anonimously. I don't know if it's true, but at some point, considering it's true, someone or a group of persons could have a bigger amount of Bitcoins than Satoshi and they can join themselves to do what they want with the BTC price. In the end, who has more coins will control Bitcoins, it happens in any place with anything with no regulamentations, without rules.

I'm not saying it's bad or not, it's an experience and we will see what happens in the future and take our own conclusions.
Well, it might make sense. Well, anything can be controlled by the manufacturer. Well, Satoshi Nakamoto has made bitcoin and then disappeared. I think, Satoshi Nakamoto control bitcoin anonymously, so bitcoin still has a price, and still used. I am very confident that Satoshi Nakamoto is closely monitoring these developments in a place without us knowing.
