3501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for Holders! on: April 17, 2021, 09:56:52 PM
Already mentioned here that Btc is for holders. Now it seems that there can be seen a bounce back above $61k level. But if not happened, then we may see it at $56k-$57k expected. But it looks bullish and expecting a pump soon. Institutional investment can be made. The market will decide everything.
The market and the investors decide everything. It lies now in the hands of investors but as their numbers are growing, it gives us the confidence that Bitcoin will even be more valuable in the future than today. And with that instances( if ever), buying now at the hypes could still give us the profit as well if the value of Bitcoin might be reaching $100k in the next 5 years. Not really seems impossible but the problem is we are definitely not 100% about it. I'm just looking for those instances.
3502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1 Million BNB Burnt today on: April 16, 2021, 09:18:46 PM
I’ve heard about this news today and the hype is already circulating in social media but I don’t think it can affect the price today as we’ve seen pullback on the market.

The previous hype might be intentionally done by CZ because this burning, its hard to tell when will the market reacts on this but for now, let’s just see the price going down and wait for the right price to enter again, the future is still huge for BNB.
The impact on the market not seems too bad this time but not sure in the coming days. I expected panic selling for this especially for the weak holders so possibly dump will surely we have to see. I hope this never happens but we can't stop weak hands people acted like that.

Definitely, it gives a way for investors to accumulate more BNB if that be going to happen and this also helps for the faster recovery which most of the holders worried about.
3503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 15, 2021, 10:13:23 PM
The fact tha he retires, meaning he is not anymore part of the team, so I guess he will not anymore get a ring but just a recognition for his contribution this season,

Think about it too so you might be right.

But let's wait until the Nets will be a champion. Whatever it is, that ring will make Aldridge happy as he was now being recognized even after his retirement.

Damn these sudden health problems and injuries. Spoiling a player's dream.

I'm not sure he would be happy on getting a ring when he did not make an effort to win it, you get a ring to win in the NBA Finals, so one should be part of the roster that will play in the NBA finals, whether a bench or starter, so it doesn't make sense of him getting a ring though, just my thoughts.
3504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what way to take profit ? on: April 15, 2021, 03:30:59 PM
I really like buying top volume coins and also buying Bitcoin before the halving, because the two methods I have proven myself can generate profits.
Now almost all top volume prices have increased dramatically, and even if the price goes down it will recover quickly. Therefore it is highly recommended
to buy top volume coins, because investing in top volume coins is usually very easy to make profit with daily trading. Then buy Bitcoin before the halving,
it has been proven from the 3 halving that the Bitcoin price will pump after the halving occurs.

Perhaps, it was a more effective and secure strategy as we know that the market will pump after halving.

ICO/IPO, I have a bad experience with this and until now, I can't forget. It still stuck on my wallet and I was hopeless seeing no development on the project. I realize that I was not so lucky with that investment, I have nothing to do but to move on and keep this learning.
3505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Love the bad news on: April 14, 2021, 10:58:44 PM
That's a nice saying but an exchange hack would not result to a big drop of 50% of the current price, maybe it's possible if Binance will be hack and their SAFU could not cover the loses anymore, but I'm not hoping for that. Even without bad news, bear market will come as correction will come, it's just that we don't exactly know when it will happen, so keep your hopes high, it will just come.
3506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna WBC interim lightweight Title on: April 14, 2021, 10:38:55 PM
-
I watched Fotuna's highlights because I'm not familiar with his professional profile, and It turns out that he's a southpaw haymaker.
Looking at the match up picture above, It seems that this might be a clear mismatch in favour of Garcia.
Garcia has the height, reach, speed, and age. Judging at how Fortuna fight, he seems to be easily countered by Garcia. Garcia has a high chance of K.Oing his opponent.
So, I won't be surprise with the sports book's odds with this match.

I think sportsbooks will indeed favor Garcia here.
One advantage though of Fortuna is his years of experience.
But with younger age and rigid training, Garcia will give him a good fight.
Hope to see a toe-to-toe fight here and not a boring one.
If Garcia is eyeing to fight Pacquiao, then, this fight should be an easy one for him.

Obviously he will be the favorite here, Ryan Garcia's previous opponent before this fight was way better than the current, I don't know if Fortuna coudl give him a trouble but I'm seeing an win by KO here in favor of Ryan Garcia. A betting odds is still important to determine how bookies evaluate this fight.
3507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP set to dethrone Bitcoin on: April 12, 2021, 01:00:37 PM
It is easy to say but it is not that much easy to surpass Bitcoin for XRP. There is a very huge difference in Total market cap between XRP and Bitcoin and to cover up this difference is like an uphill task for XRP. On the other hand, XRP is also a good coin but bitcoin is a gem if you compare both of them. If XRP wins the case still it would be quite hard for XRP to match the total market cap value. Bitcoin is the king of the crypto market and it seems it will keep dominating the crypto market.
Not to mention how many coins and people thinking which coins could dethrone Bitcoin at once. Many speculations are made but none of them are able to make it. If we were talking about this again, it never makes sense anymore as we know that no other coin will ever dethrone Bitcoin to its position. It is not only about the price but Bitcoin is so unique and people had value this more than any coins that are existed in the market.
3508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paper money vs Digital currency on: April 12, 2021, 12:35:07 PM
That’s why people need to be educated and use simple terms for them to understand the digital currency. Not everyone are able to understand using the crypto currencies and I’ve experienced that when I tried to explain it to a friend of mine, like she basically did not understand every term I used and so I think it’ll be better if we educated them and explain it to them like teaching a 5 year old kid. And I think it did work on my end because she is now trading using Coinbase and has invested and traded a certain amount of her savings.
Yeah, it is a big challenge for us to change their mindset and we can't force them to appreciate Bitcoin. But anyway, this not a race where we need to push the market into abrupt change, this innovation takes time to develop and it needs people with more awareness in order to build trust. Maybe the new generation could easy to teach but for the oldies, that be hopeless.

So this time, we do not guarantee the fullest adoption of Bitcoin. We only could tell the true success of its adoption when the majority of the online transaction is accepting crypto. But for now, doubts still be found and people are still questioning the capability of Bitcoin.
3509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are good for investing? on: April 12, 2021, 12:01:25 PM
Everyone has different thoughts when investing and if I personally if I have to start with a small amount of money then I will choose the top altcoins which still have a price of $ 0.01 - $ 0.1
by the way I don't like XRP
I use XRP actually for my withdrawal transactions due to its low fees that is why I love XRP. I really don't know why many were hating XRP this time, maybe because of the SEC issue or of being a centralized coin?

I'm still looking for XRP to have the potentials but somehow, we can't expect this coin to give us x2 profit. This is really a factor that causes many investors to reject and find another one. That for sure, XRP is not the best coin that OP is looking for.
3510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Transactions Fees x Gambling on: April 12, 2021, 11:25:54 AM
If you want minimal volatility then you can use stable coins. For example, USDT on Ripple's blockchain, I don't know how widespread they are among casinos (is it possible to replenish a deposit using them), but taking into account the minimum commissions, this would be an ideal solution.
Be careful, currently there is no official USDT (Tether) on the Ripple's blockchain according to the Tether official balances : https://wallet.tether.to/transparency
So it could be scam tokens if they really call themselves "USDT" on ripple. It's better to use Tethers on the Tron blockchain in my opinion, it's the third blockchain with the highest liquidity of USDT but fees are currently way lower than the BTC blockchain (Omni) and the Ethereum one.

Thanks for the amendment! I confused it with USDT on the Tron blockchain. I myself use USDT only on the basis of the ETH, so I lost sight of this point. I hope I have not misled anyone and no "fake" tokens will be advertised by me  Cheesy
In addition, I hope that the ETH will solve the problem of large commissions and I will be able to use USDT as before, now they are dead weight.

USDT has the highest liquidity, it will increase more as this problem will be solve, anything related to ETH is not good for gambling now as its fees are not reasonable for most of us, we have to look for other option but we know this bull run will not be forever, so everything will be back to normal.
3511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 12, 2021, 11:16:25 AM
In any case, I doubt that there could be gentleman's agreement here, everyone is up for the money.

I think they can reschedule to fit everyone' if not they we won't see this fight and most probably we will see Pacquiao after the election to be either chase fights or becoming the next Philippine president.
There is an agreement definitely, money is strong on this one. I hope that he will fight Crawford, I want to see some action that he delivers and I hope that his candidacy isn't true.

There's no need to reschedule this fight, hopefully it will happen in June because that was the first announcement, and whatever country it will happen, it doesn't matter as for sure there's no difference in experience since most of us will just be watching live in our TV, I'll pay for the PPV for this particular fight, I have to spend for Manny.  Smiley
3512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 12, 2021, 09:33:58 AM
Therefore my pick is Spurs +6 and ML.  Good luck!
Thank you again bro. Brought my confidence back.
I just made the deal sweeter with betting on SAS money line.

It was 2.80 if I got in earlier before the game starts.

Huge win,  ML + point spread is a great combo, good job @stadus, after a loss, you bounce back really fast with a better winning.

Quote
Luka made me shiver a bit. I know he could make buzzer beaters even with milliseconds of the game. A relief when I saw the ball falling down.  Grin
Pops didn't doubt DeRozan, good play for the last shot.

He can't shot it, they should just tried to tie the score and bring the game to OT, way better chance than a 3 point attempt. A tip shot would be enough, I don't know how the coach come up with that play.
3513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: April 11, 2021, 09:59:41 PM
It's a human nature that we don't easily give up, you showed how its done based on your experience but it's just that you learned your lesson the hard way.  A debt has to be paid no matter what, if you don't have enough income you'll surely struggle financially as you also have personal needs, bigger if you have a family.

I hope we will also learn from your experience, I can't imagine myself to be in your position, I hope you'll stay positive and for sure you'll be able to pay your debts, maybe not easily but slowly, there's no problem as long as you are willing to pay as you'll definitely find ways.
3514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wyoming legalized online sports betting - crypto wagers allowed too on: April 11, 2021, 09:41:53 PM
I'm not disappointed with this, it's actually a good news and we have to get used that when we talk about government, anything is always paired with fiat. Gambling only makes crypto as a tool in gambling, so it's a great news as it will increase the adoptoin on crypto gambling which is one of the biggest contributor why crypto is more popular now.

Also, this regulation makes gamblers to be confident that their money will not be confiscated anytime, so a green signal when regulatrs accept crypto, maybe they already see the opportunity now.
3515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Cotto vs Marquez - Exhibition match on: April 11, 2021, 09:20:59 PM
But lets just see this fight for sure will give a time to watch this bout since this two fighter are quite good opponent of Pacman.

Fans would easily remember these two fighters as two great opponent of Pacman, particularly Marquez where he fought a series of fight but in the end it was Marquez who won but just due to a lucky punch, a one time punch KO. Some even say that Marquez is a coward for not giving Pacman a chance for a rematch even if he was offered with big money.

check this news out. https://www.boxingscene.com/marquez-reveals-he-rejected-100-million-fifth-pacquiao-bout--123560
I saw that fight and I do not see how people can say that it was a lucky punch, there is footage of Marquez training that particular punch against their sparrings, Pacquiao had already fell before that punch in a previous round and you can see that Marquez is specifically waiting for Manny to come to him and try to deliver that punch, it was not a lucky punch it was a successful strategy that was implemented perfectly at the right place and the right time.
Maybe it was a lucky punch in the sense that Marquez was already losing the fight but he was able to do the right timing to KO Pacman. If Pacman was more careful and he did not go for a kill instead, that would give an easy win for him as he was faster and stronger than Marquez, but things happened, no excuses and we have to give that win whether by luck or not.
3516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Starting investing on April 10, 2021: too late find a 10x in 2021? on: April 11, 2021, 01:35:29 PM
From that kind of enthusiasm, I feel the huge trust you put into crypto thinking that you are sure that you can make it and achieve your goal. And talking about x10, sadly saying that you are late, but not too late, maybe you can find projects that worth for your trust, I don't suggest any because it was you to decide then.

Only I can tell you that just be careful and good luck. Your faith is so strong, I know you can do it but just be sure that you are already ready for any losses that will happen to you. $100,000 is really big, and in myself, I can't afford it all to invest only in crypto.
3517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments ban Bitcoin like they did with Gold? on: April 11, 2021, 01:13:13 PM
The only possibility to that is for the Government to shut down the internet first, otherwise, it will not be possible on this present planet.
if the government "shuts down the internet" how will they track our movements "lol"

Bitcoin is something that can no longer be managed and even eliminated.  Bitcoin has officially become a decentralized asset since Satoshi officially made it public.  only God can "shut down" Bitcoin.
We are in the computer era and that it needs internet to become productive. And from that, the government surely can't afford to stop it as they are using this also. This means that no matter how strict they are, no matter if they ban Bitcoin, people will still look for an opportunity which they can use and invest Bitcoin.

God isn't involved here, only the people who are a part of its development. Maybe the shutdown will happen if Bitcoin has not used at all. But as we can see, it became valuable and this will even more valuable in the future where more people are using this one.
3518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best 5 Altcoins to buy right now. My picks on: April 11, 2021, 12:47:02 PM
If ever I have to choose altcoins investment for the future, I surely consider those who are in the top 20 coins in the market. But for now, as the situation gets wild and crazy pumps, I only choose 2 coins, ETH and BNB. I could add some more someday depending on the market trend coz, for now, it is really at risk investing coins at hypes.

I was anticipating the market for a possible market correction and instead of buying altcoins, I sell all of my holdings and keep for the next bear season. But some of my profit I put into the most reliable and potential coins that we can hold for long-term investment.
3519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 10, 2021, 10:13:16 PM
There's a little movement on the line, probably due to this reason.

Wizards' Bradley Beal: Unlikely to play Saturday
Still sticking with my pick, WB has done some wonders on the team, so I trust him tonight to win by covering the spread only for us.  Cheesy

I'm not sure with this, Beal is the star player of the team, he was the reason why they won against the GSW, and now they will play against the Suns who are the number 2 team in the West with a healthy and complete line up, Suns are -13.5 for a reason, but anyway good luck.

For my pick today, I like the Golden State -7.5 against the Rockets.

They need to bounce back after a heartbreaking loss against the Wizards.
3520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: April 10, 2021, 09:38:00 PM
Things are just going to get better for Ripple now that they do not have to surrender executive user database to the authorities but this is litigation and anything could happen furrher down the line.

Here is a good read: In The Ripple Case, The SEC Is Now On Trial – And Knows It

Thanks for the information, looks like SEC is not being favored in this update, but obviously it's a long trial, we don't know who will win but this is a good news for the Ripple and actually I think prirce react on that as XRP has the highest gain today in the top 100 coins in https://coinmarketcap.com/.
