3501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: YOUR FAVORITE GAMBLING? on: October 05, 2021, 11:45:13 AM
My favorite gambling would probably be Chinese Poker, pretty easy to understand and you can easily win money if you make a good move and you put the right cards in the right places.
Never heard of this game, I only know a poker game in general but Chinese Poker, it's new to my eyes. Sports betting for me is the most profitable sport, just my personal belief though and I'm happy that the NBA will be back soon (regular season), so I could start betting again.
3502  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 10% increase in a day - why? on: October 04, 2021, 11:30:25 PM
Bitcoin has been steadily falling the last month... Today, it popped over 10%.

In my opinion, this is all directly attributable to the US Infrastructure bill that has massive implications for the industry. If it passes, this will have cascading impacts worldwide as other countries adopt similar measures to the US. China officially banning Bitcoin seemed to have no directly attributable impact, because I think that was already priced in. It being October seems unlikely that it would pop like this in a day.

What is your opinion?
I don't just skip from being volatile as this was the factor for having an unpredictable movement of the market. We consider those things, news, banning issue has a contribution to such changes but this been couldn't prove of it, we just come up with a lot of assumptions.

I'd consider this 10% up in a day just a normal impact when the demand is also increasing. Remember that we are in the BER season and base on the previous performance of the market, there is a price surge this time. I'm not referring to history repeats itself but can't deny that it was really happening again and again.
3503  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn Merits? on: October 04, 2021, 10:49:20 PM
Honestly, you can read a lot of threads similar to this...
To earn merit is not our priority why we are here, it was just a reward for giving an informational and quality post but this is not the thing why the community grows. But I'm not stopping you you think that because that was your right and newbies are hungry for this in order to rank up.

I understand your situation but you should not have to think about it first, it is rather to improve your posting habit, and being active on the forum will help you for achieving your goal. It just needs time and most especially hard works.
3504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 04, 2021, 09:55:15 PM
I think he is okay, otherwise, he would not play him. Regular games and practice games are the same, and when he can finish in practice games, he can also play in regular games. Well, I agree that he might get limited minutes and he would retire after the Nets will win a championship, he is only taking the opportunity as this is the best team so far he played with to fulfill his dream of becoming a champion.
Hmm, yeah, that has a nexus.
I hope nothing serious happens to him, I was surprised with his retirement, but I was also happy and anxious to his return to the NBA.
Aldridge even with this health problem is still an important player, because he can make a difference in your team.
I think he doesn't have a health problem anymore, otherwise, the Nets would not sign him as it's like putting his life in danger while playing for the team, and it's not a win-win situation for both. He maybe had a condition, but with the advanced medication now, I think it will be able to manage and he can still be a big piece of a contributor to the team.
3505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 04, 2021, 09:15:58 PM
Next game, they should slow down POGOY.
That's another problem for SMB as the TNT now has a lot of scorers, if the defense is focused on Pogoy, Mikey Williams might explode or Castro. These 3 guards are really great and good thing TNT gambled with Williams as he really is an A+ player like the stars in the PBA.

I guess what's lacking with the SMB in game one is not defense, it's the points or contribution from the usual names like Romeo and Cabagnot.
3506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Cash was no scam on: October 03, 2021, 02:42:24 PM
If you want me to choose between Litecoin or Litecoin Cash, I will select Litecoin as my investment. I do not say that Litecoin Cash is a scam, but I am not sure that coins can increase like the other coins. Although Litecoin price is more than $100, that still worth having it as an investment because Litecoin is one of the old coins besides bitcoin and Litecoin has big investors that still want to invest more. But if you still insist on having Litecoin Cash as your investment, make sure you research for more and think twice before you add more investment to that coin.
That OP needs some support for his investment and might encourage others to look for Litecoin Cash. Well, I don't suppose to think it was a scam but couldn't deny that it was just a clone of Litecoin as the original coin. Litecoin Cash, like Bitcoin Cash, all of them are not a scam project but couldn't expect will give us huge ROI as these just to pump once hypes are created. That is why the majority of the investors won't bother themselves to look into this project as they feel something unworthy. I'd rather to choose Litecoin instead, just like you.
3507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING: Skill-based vs. Chance-based on: October 03, 2021, 09:33:10 AM
Playing with the games that you are familiar with and easy to play, is a good decision. Don't force yourself to play in skill-based games. You can try them when you already have some knowledge about skill-based games then. I think you don't be stuck in chance-based games only, sometimes skill-based games can be more interesting and funnier if you know how to play them well. So, expanse your knowledge even to skill-based games.  Wink
It's okay to keep on trying without forcing yourself into games that you're not good with. But if you are eager to be good at that skill or luck-based, you have to keep on doing it.

The more games you know and good at playing with, much better.

It boils down to your real purpose, I mean, just do what you love to do, besides, gambling is created for entertainment purposes. However, if you are serious and you would really like to be consistent in making money, then I guess you should focus on skilled-based games and focus on few games only, so you can master what you are doing.
It's actually for both.

Cannot be removed the reason by those gamblers that are doing it for their another source. It cannot be denied that there are people that are going through with that.

Of course, no one would gamble without having fun, and no gambler would have fun if he loses, that's common sense I guess. However, we just have to look at the reality that most gamblers believe they can use their skills in a wrong game, just like bettors playing a roulette thinking they have 50/50 chance where in fact the house edge of a roulette game is high, except for the black or red betting.
3508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 03, 2021, 09:06:06 AM
Another casual 20:3 run in the last quarter, PBA rig fest at its best.
Lol, you cannot take that as a basis mate, it's normal in a game, even in NBA it happens, so you are saying that NBA is also rigged?

Come on, no one has proved that PBA is rigged, all are just speculation from the bettors who lose their bet.
Just be smart, do believe in the rigged game, it's okay but always tries to be on the right side.

Yup, hard to prove that games were rigged especially in a series between two rival teams/companies, how could you get them to be involved in a drama so that run was just part of the ballgame.

Won my first ticket and will watch closely the second game on how it goes. Mikey Williams will be a big factor for the TNT Katropa if he will show his brilliance, let us see if Chris Ross could give him a hard time orchestrating the play for the Katropa.

Though late but still i would put my picks here:

Magnolia ML @1.90 - won
SMB -1.5 @2.02 boosted

Good luck, SMB is not gonna lose in this game, they might be down now but they will come back and win the game. Game 1 is very important, so they will try to win this so they'll be more comfortable as the series is going forward. I also think that it's a touch series, might end in game 6 or 7 so it's good if TNT will stay head.
3509  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies Work To Learn And Not To Earn. on: October 02, 2021, 11:46:44 PM
I wonder how many legit newbies are doing what the title said. What I mostly noticed is that many newbies are asking how to earn merit, ask how many users are able to participate in a campaign and many more instead of doing the opposite. We can earn money through this forum but don't think that it would be your main income which you are wrong if you think like that.
Coz we think that these people had come in crypto for money and learning at the same time. It wasn't greedy to think about money as that was the reason why we come and join this crypto world however, we can't go that far without learning the forum itself. There is no such word as an instant in learning and that much more about earning money.

It is a sort of determination and many newbies don't have it that is why they come and stay shortly, and then leave after as they don't understand. It is quite simple to say that "we are all welcome in crypto but never think we are all fit to this".
3510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: October 01, 2021, 08:51:48 PM
Gaballo would not gonna make the fight last because his style is aggressive boxing, he doesn't have the jabs, his aim is to KO his opponent early on and with that, I can say that they have the same goal with Donaire. If Gaballo changes style, then maybe we might see this a long bout and could be on his advantage as the aging Donaire might get frustrated and will loss his stamina, however, beating Donaire is easier said than done.
Counter puncher like Donaire would really be most likely to prefer on aggressive fighters because we know that counter punches can really be seen with these kind of moments or shall we say its the exact
times on where these counterpunches would really be relevant.

Stamina is something an issue to Donaire but we have seen on how he lasted up until 12 rounds against Inoue which simply means that this one wont really be an easy thing for Gaballo.

He would really need tooo have something on at least able to be on par with this upcoming fight on an opponent which is good at speed and counter punch.

He can last in 12 rounds but based on the past results, he lost most of the fights if it last in 12 rounds, so that's the strategy Gaballo's camp should study. Donaire is a knockout artist, his opponent cannot be careless as one mistake, the fight might be over. Gaballo will be the underdog for sure, and as I see on this kid, he is not mentally tough to face a high-caliber champion.
3511  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How a beginner can earn money from the crypto? on: October 01, 2021, 04:11:47 PM
Hello,
A beginner that doesn't know anything about the trading and technical analysis, can make money? I heard transaction between some wallets give you a reward!
Please share your idea.

Thank you.
I warn you not to try them. Pertaining to being new to the market with little experience to no knowledge, then trading is not suitable for you and never think that this could give you money but this will help you to lose your money too quickly.

I suggest to make your way to understand the market first, even simple investments still need this. How much more for trading? So, before thinking big, it was good to start familiarizing the market first.

I don't discourage you from trading but must have to consider your situation first, there is no easy money in the crypto space that is why we should have to take it slowly and safely otherwise, this will only give you losses and regrets.
3512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have any real value? on: October 01, 2021, 03:35:35 PM
Bitcoin is not backed by any physical asset like Gold nor by any fiat currency. It makes me wonder if I should invest/trade in Bitcoin or not?
If you just wonder if you want to invest or not, then don't make yourself do it. But before leaving and wondering about Bitcoin, maybe you have to take a look at what happens to this stuff, from $0 to $60k, might you also have to wonder why it goes like that if there is market value. That price will imply that it was really useful to the community.

That you are right saying it was not backed by any physical asset but it was not how we measure the value of Bitcoin. And in fact, we valued Bitcoin more than Gold and Fiat money as this was very usefull in the current era. I think you have to consider that somehow.
3513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - October 5 on: October 01, 2021, 06:34:51 AM
Triller cannot seem to do anything right. They already had a date and venue agreed upon only to change their minds and delay the fight again without having Kambosos' approval. They have not taken their duty as a promoter seriously and I think Kambosos has every right to want their bid defaulted so that another promoter will take over the event.

I think it has something to do with other fights, like the Alvarez vs Plant.

But yes, I agree, they really made a big mistakes moving the venue, the dates, just shows how the company is handled internally. Hopefully, Kambosos or Triller settled it, fans are excited about this fight because of the hype and the trash talk.

Recently, Lopez issued a statement that he it will be violence in the ring, even predicting that a broken eye socket might happen in this fight, hehehe.

I like that being aggressive of him, I hope it would really happen that they will give a good fight, we know Lopez is good but we can't underestimate Kambosos too because he too is a warrior. This is a battle of two warriors, not only good in trash-talking outside but also good in giving their best in the ring. No pressure for Kambosos but I see the pressure from Lopez here as he was coming from a big win against Loma.

Watching the highlights of Loma vs Lopez, it was Lopez whose face was damage but then he still win because he throw more clean punches than Loma. We know Loma is a rhythm higher but he failed in his fight against Lopez, now comes a new challenger, not as good as LOMA maybe but his style is different, so Lopez has to be careful.

Trash talking is normal, but make sure you do that in the ring so people will respect you.
3514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 01, 2021, 06:14:28 AM
Meralco should bounce back from a 1 point loss, it's their time now so they will not be eliminated.
In this conference Meralco was doing well, but NLEX is more remarkable as they improve even without Ravena.
I can still watch this game as it will start at 6:AM in our timezone, I also like to see how they will bounce back after a bad loss in the first game, and probably the game will still be low scoring game and Meralco will win, probably in single-digit only as NLEX is also doing well.

This is what you called "bigayan" as NLEX is a sister team of Meralco if I'm not mistaken.
3515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: September 30, 2021, 09:17:27 PM
This is a good match although not a lot of people expected this since there's been a talk of Donaire vs Casimero so I really don't see why the organization decided to bout Gaballo and Doanaire.

Both Donaire and Gaballo are on the same organisation, they are both champions, Donaire holding the WBC regular bantamweight belt, and the Gaballo, the interim bantamweight. And that's why boxing now is so confusing because there are so many champions who are holding the same belt for one organisation. So the winner will be the true champion of the WBC bantamweight, unless they give Donaire about title belt and then relegated another boxer in their organisation to a champion.

Make sense and if whoever wins the fight, he will earn the title for this organization. Both Donaire and Gaballo want additional fame and winning is the best venue to earn that.

Donaire, though still hungry and still aiming to fight again with Inoue, he's nearing to his retirement, so he's more aggressive to win this fight and have that chance to call the rematch.

This fight might not gain much viewers, but since the organization mandated this fight, we will see who's going to be on top.

And obviously, it could be a win by Donaire again, I'm not underestimating Gaballo here but I see his weakness when he fought Rodriguez, he is not accurate with his punches so he might get KO by Donaire here who is only waiting for the right timing.

Gaballo has a lot to learn, relying on power alone is not gonna work against a veteran champion.
3516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 30, 2021, 08:54:14 PM
Now, it's official that Ginebra is out for the contention for the PBA AFC and I do think that heads will roll on this and chances are high that CStand would play overseas again once his contract expires this December.

There are offers already for CStand from overseas. Now that Ginebra is eliminated early, lots of times now for CStand to think of his future. For me, he better pursues that offer from overseas. He can always come back to PBA. I think there will be no next conference after the AFC and the next conference will be next year now with another AFC as the beginning. The preparation is limited for the next conference because of the continuous delay of games and imports will surely have a hard time before being allowed to play here.

If CStand, wants security for the rest of his Basketball stint. He'll be wise enough to stay and play for Ginebra. Though he's still young and there are lots of opportunities, starting with the offers overseas. I'd say grab this opportunity as long as it's still available, PBA will still be there and pretty sure there are teams that would still take him especially the SMBs team.

He can do that if he wants to stay, besides, it's not him who is the problem but the way Coach Tim Cone manage the team this season. I'm sure they will come back better next season, with a healthy Japeth and Thompson. Just like the SMB before, they also failed to quality but that doesn't mean they will not improve, so expect that for the Ginebra next conference or next season.
3517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto misinformation is turning into an issue for people new to the game. on: September 30, 2021, 03:31:19 PM
This has been a problem ever since. And, admittedly, this is hard to combat. For as long as the crypto market is showing proofs that it is indeed possible for a token to grow double or triple in price in just a matter of days, there will always be people who will risk investing in unknown tokens. The risk is always high but since the reward is also high, there will always remain some who will take the risk. Education would help, of course. But when it goes contrary to what some have actually experienced, its effectivity would lessen.
And that is one reason why they fail because they become greedy and misinformed. People think that this was an investment to become rich, they keep that belief until they found it wrong and leave. But for those who clearly understand the risk in crypto, the more they become resourceful and the more they become careful with their actions and decision-making.

Thus, if we are new to crypto investment, we shouldn't be confident enough of what we've know from the internet alone, it sometimes needs to experience and do market exposure just to know how it really works.
3518  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some cryptocurrency scam to avoid. on: September 30, 2021, 03:07:51 PM
Quote
4. Personification: This is another method used by scammers to steal money from people. For example, some may create accounts using a celebrity's name or a social media account using a project's name that is fake and use it to scam people by providing fake giveaways.
This has been rampant now. A lot of people got to fall into using known personalities just to cover up their real identity. We've heard this very often and are so sad to see that this was the cause of being greedy just to think that these people are legit and can be trusted but behind those faces, scammers it will be. If we have a lack of research and awareness, that was surely we become a victim of this trick. As this internet had become a medium to huge scamming this time, the more we are careful, especially when dealing with someone we don't know yet.
3519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 29, 2021, 07:45:33 PM
But the worst that I read is that Orlando Magic's Jonathan Isaac that he is immune already since he has contracted the virus before.
What? I've seen some cases that even if they got contracted by the virus before they still got affected again by it, might be the virus getting more variants. I wonder what refuses them to get vaccinated, it just doesn't make some sense if others tend to cooperate. Well, if they won't then they won't play, it's that simple rule to follow.
That depends on the law of their city or place, the NBA organization does not really make a rule that every player should be vaccinated in order for them to play, so a player could choose not to get vaccinated but he can't play in cities where vaccination is already a requirement.
3520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: September 29, 2021, 07:21:25 PM
A bit offtopic on the thread but just want to say here that Pacquiao confirms of retiring in boxing world as he ready himself on the PH coming election.

His message from his facebook page.

Now who will be the next legend on PH boxers? Maybe we can expect from MP promotions same like casimero Smiley
A legend has already retired and is one of the best fighters in the world due to his new political career. I wish him all the best with his new chosen path and it's very timely that he has said this.

Because with his new career path, he really has only to choose one of them and it's very likely that it's his boxing career that should be given up. He has reached a lot through his boxing career and had too much success on it.

Casimero is likely going to be the flag bearer and even there's no one that can be par with him, maybe he's going to be the successor.
I don't believe that Casimero would be the successor and basing up on what had Pacquiao done in the past then he is much more supportive to Inoue.
https://sports.yahoo.com/power-puncher-naoya-inoue-following-manny-pacquiaos-path-to-boxing-glory-190952608.html

Well as a fellow countrymen then I wouldn't really blame out people to have this view.

I also don't think that Inoue could follow the footstep of Manny Pacquiao, I think he has to prove to us first by beating Casimero and then going up in weight. Though he is really strong right now, but he hasn't fought champions yet like Pacquiao fought when he was still young.
