3501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: think before investing on: August 11, 2023, 12:06:07 PM
He came and told me everything. i feel pity on him, and started teaching him how Bitcoin is been trade and invest. He was very serious to lean and now his happy and his doing very well. in every business or investment you are in backing on, I think you need to lean and be  knowledgeable about it before you invest on it.

Not learning before starting is a common mistakes with newbies interested in investing in Bitcoin, they don't know anything about Bitcoin but what to start making profits and they fail at doing it because they didn't learn before starting to invest in bitcoin or trading it.

When you don't know about a new business, don't think you can make profits without learning about the new business before you start doing it. Trading  and investing in Bitcoin are different, investing doesn't come with much risk but trading has the risk of losing your capital.

And that's what your friend was doing. Only those that have learnt how to trade should be trading and those that haven't should learn first because without learning, they won't have any experience to rely on to help them make profits from the market and they'll give up quickly.
3502  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Market Price in Respect of News on: August 11, 2023, 11:34:11 AM
There's more to say and discuss on how the influence of news could alter the market price for bitcoin even though this may not be much felt but the impact of news has its own little way of contributing to the bitcoin market price, information reaching that the FED take a new dimension on bitcoin approach seing it as a currency and given it due recognition in cryptocurrency might be the reason for the shift we had as seing that bitcoin gets to $30,000 few hours ago before coming down to $29,880 what are your opinions and thoughts on this.

News has a huge impact on the market and that's because Bitcoin or cryptocurency market is made up of largely inexperienced traders that depends on the news to trade. If similar news was to come out during the bull market it would have had more impact than it did now.

The only reason the market isn't pumping is because we're still in the bear market which fear uncertainty and doubt is still in my mind of traders and investors and you can. See that playing out in the market with the price of Bitcoin trying to increase but later dip down.

It's normal for the market that when there's positive news, the market will response by a increasing and when there's negative news the opposite happens and this isn't only limited to Bitcoin market but it also happens in other market although it happens here more.
3503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do wager affect outcomes in any provably fair games on: August 11, 2023, 11:03:38 AM
Since many believe that,  their luck to win may increase when their wager more which have always proven to be a lie since the higher your wagering the higher your chances of losing although that doesn't mean you will not be lucky to win some hit at the end your losing ratio will be higher than your winning so ultimately it becomes a bad idea.

Superstition is one thing gamblers believe in so much but their believes is not always true although if it works for them then they can keep using it to win more bets. Some people believe the more they wager the higher their chances of winning and it works for them that way.

But the truth is that they increase their chances if losing when they increase their wager but since it hasn't disappointed them they will think that's how the system works but they're just been lucky with their bets. Wagers doesn't affect the outcome of any probably fair games.

You can't predict games that depends on luck for a gambler to win, slots games and the games been mentioned are all luck based games so neither increasing or lowing your wager will affect the fairness of the game. To prevent losing much, I'll advise to using smaller wagers.
3504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: August 11, 2023, 10:41:28 AM
I will like to inform you that if you also have the mindset and refused to take action there will be nothing left for you to have at the end of the whole show, many people have won a large amount of money that is good enough for them to remain ever rich and successful in life but later you will discover that they have squandered the whole money back to gambling and wareward life and remain poor instead of them to have taken necessary actions to invest with the money.

This happens because they didn't have the financial background needed to stay rich after they win that large sum of money. If you happen to win a lottery or get in possession of a large sum of money, don't start thinking of how to double the money or invest in things to increase the money.

First thing you have to do is to get financial educated so your decision are made with knowledge of how to handle money or you can hire a financial advisor and he'll help you manage your new wealth but that'll cost you some fees and you won't have the knowledge to yourself.

You can also get the education now that you haven't come in contacted with any large amount of money as I'll be of help in the future when you do get yourself in possession of large sum and instead of wasting or squandering it away, you make good use of the money to uplift yourself.
3505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Irresponsible behavior at the Las Vegas Casino on: August 11, 2023, 10:31:07 AM
The point here is why gamblers do such shameless acts and what the rules of the casino suggest the penality for these acts. Do you think the gambler did it purposefully perhaps to become popular in the headlines  Huh

Do not act as if it's only gamblers that do this kind of things, we don't know if the person was a gambler or not. Maybe he was just accompanying a gambling friend or family member to the casino and he got drunk and started acting the way he was acting due to alcohol influence.

Or still he lost a huge sum of money and decided to disagree himself because he feels ashamed of losing the money. We don't know the true story yet so we shouldn't conclude because we have responsible gamblers that won't put themselves in such shameful situations.

Also it could be the person is neither a gambler or got drunk but just looking for attention and knows he'll get the attention with acting in the manner he did. People can do crazy things to be famous and this might just be one of those situations so we shouldn't jump to conclusions.
3506  Economy / Speculation / Re: How did you see BTC in future? on: August 10, 2023, 12:59:47 PM
BTC prediction in years 2023, 2024 and 2025

According to my opinion In 2023, the price of the BTC reached $40k expected at the end of the year and the average movement price is between $25k to $28k.
Bitcoin price prediction will continue to rise during 2024 the price of BTC between $50k to $60k and the average moving line of BTC is $55k 2025 also expected that
the Bitcoin price prediction that will continue to rise in the year 2025 where I expect that BTC will brake the ATH and build a new ATH on $100k.

I believe we would have similar movements to what you have predicted, I don't believe we'll see new all time high in 2023 as some experts has predicted and neither would we see a new all time high in 2024. 2024 is the halving year so the market will be bullish for sure.

Bitcoin might get closed to reaching the previous all time high before or after the halving but after the halving date and nothing too special happens in the  market, investors will be begin to realized that the were been too bullish then fear will enter and the market will begin dumping.

2025 is the year when everything will be moving in the right track and Bitcoin will be very bullish as well as other cryptocurency will begin to see increase in price because Bitcoin will be attracting investors into the market with it making the news regularly due to its price gains.
3507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the way to Prosperity for a Determined Dreamer on: August 10, 2023, 12:36:32 PM
There is no denying that the potential of bitcoin is huge and the price increase is almost certain, but after all, we have no proof for that and it is all hope. So putting all hope in bitcoin is not a wise decision. I mean, if it doesn't go as we expected, we'll be very disappointed. So always prepare yourself with a plan B so you don't have to be too confused if things don't go as planned. All predictions and expectations point to 2025, but what if bitcoin doesn't rise by that time? Would you still believe in bitcoin and keep holding it? We need a plan for that.

Investing for 2025 is short term planing and if Bitcoin didn't pump in 2024, as a determined dreamer you have to continue holding. Investing in Bitcoin should be for future profits and that future doesn't have a date but until you become profitability to your target then it's the future.

You don't have to do too much to be profitable in your bitcoin investment, all you have to do is invest and hold and to achieve that you need to have other sources of income. Depending on just bitcoin for suitability is wrong because the market is very unpredictable  and volatile.

All those that hold bitcoin and don't get easier scared by the market volatility will make profits in the future if you want to be among those set of people you have to invest in Bitcoin and keep holding until the market gives you profits you expected when you invested into Bitcoin.
3508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sudden Wealth Syndrome (SWS) In Gambling on: August 10, 2023, 10:06:26 AM
Have you experienced this feeling and what are the steps that you've taken to fight this Sudden Wealth Syndrome (SWS)

Do you think people who have a chance to make a lot of money should be aware of this and do you know what you're going to do if you won a big amount of money?

I have experienced it but it's not from gambling but from investing in altcoins, I had invested in this particular altcoins that gave me so much profits I doubted myself of been this wealthy and decided to start spending above my previous lifestyle, I almost got broke from this.

Many people aren't prepared for the wealth that they're seeking through gambling or investing and when the money comes they do unproductive things with the money and this is a result of sudden wealth syndrome. We have to be prepare before the wealth comes.

If we don't prepare ourselves we'll misuse the money as many lottery winners has done in the past. One way to avoid this is to maintain your regular life when you suddenly get rich, don't increase you standard of living and go to seek the help of a financial manager to help you.
3509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: August 10, 2023, 09:57:32 AM
You only use small amount of funds to gamble because the availability of big funds is actually not there because I know for certain that if you are truly a gambler then using huge amounts of funds to gamble wouldn't be a hassle for you because the more you stake the lesser odds and risk involved in winning that particular bet.

That's not the case for everybody and probably not the case for this user, gambling with big funds put you at a risk of losing a one time big amount of money that might affect your confidence to continue gambling. But when you use small capital and it get lost you can get over it.

We have different strategies to use in gambling, some gamblers use small capital and it favors them while other use large capital and it also favors them. You don't have to use a strategy that doesn't favor you just because using large capital reduces the odds and risk involved.

One mistakes gamblers make is to listen to advise online without test trying the advise to see if it'll favor them but they blindly follow the advise and before they realize it doesn't favor them, it might be late already and they would had lost a significantly higher sum of money.
3510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mistake that prevented your big win. on: August 10, 2023, 07:56:42 AM
Indeed, they think that it will be the same outcome as how they predicted it and once they start to experience that losing streak, that momentum will be pushed into frustrations and aggressiveness where emotions will lead you to lose everything.

The moment you start experiencing aggressiveness and frustration, the best thing to do is to stop gambling because if you continue gambling you'll end up making decisions that you'll regret later. As a gambler you should be able to control your emotions or they'll control you.

Some common mistakes that can prevent us from winning is greediness and lack of discipline. The problem isn't that gamblers don't plan their bets but the moment they encounter any difficulties they loose their discipline and allow their emotions to take control of their decisions.

As a gambler if you're greedy, you'll end up losing more money than you'll win because greediness makes you less satisfied about your wins and want to continue playing with anticipation of winning more bets but that doesn't play out as you planned so avoid greediness as a gambler.
3511  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we rely on prediction? on: August 09, 2023, 05:43:40 PM
Let me say since the beginning of this year we have been getting different prediction on Bitcoin prizes and investors too have been keeping their hopes very high on those predictions...

We invest in Bitcoin because we're expecting future profits and for those profits to come true the price has to increase passed its current price back when we invested. The predictions are the tools that guide us to invest into bitcoin but we shouldn't expect it to be accurate.

There are some predictions that are ridiculous and when you see them you should be able to understand that those making those prediction don't believe the price can get to their target in the timeframe they used but just looking to create hype in the market for a pump.

We have to be realistic with our prediction or speculation because with been realistic we won't be disappointed when Bitcoin doesn't get to the price we predicted. Bitcoin can reach a new all time high above $100,000 but saying it'll pass a million dollars is impossible for now.
3512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can Bitcoin provide food for our table on: August 09, 2023, 05:23:11 PM
I think with trading they will be a provision of food in our table, when we understand the rules and regulations of Bitcoin, I don't know if this my concept can make a provision of food through Bitcoin. But I'm well convinced that with this my views over Bitcoin investment and trading it will provide or sustain human, if profit are been made. I know that Bitcoin should not be dependent on, and we suppose to make Bitcoin our side hustle but with seriousness on Bitcoin investment and trading, we can achieve a success.

Profits gotten from investing in Bitcoin or from trading Bitcoin can be used to buy groceries that we can use to feed our family or you but these profits aren't constant because Bitcoin market isn't a stable market to give you profits as your regular jobs pays you monthly.

If you're very good at trading and becomes a professional, you can make trading your side hustle and get profits from there that'll assist your main job but don't depend completely on the bitcoin market as its volatility can make you losses as much as it can make you profits.

Bitcoin investment shoudn't be done in a way we will be expecting profits to be gotten from it daily for our needs instead it should be done for future purpose. Investing is more beneficial when the outcome are expecting in the future and not everyday as that isn't achievable.
3513  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 09, 2023, 05:13:12 PM
Those that keep their gambling habit a secret is it that they're not proud of what they are doing?.

There could be different reasons why people keep their gambling life a secret. It could be because they're a private people and don't want to let their life out to the public records for judgement as some society aren't yet civilized to the point which they won't see gambling as a bad thing.

Some society discourage people from gambling as they consider it to be destructive and not biblical and this are society that has some much respect for religion like the muslim brothers. While some society don't allow the female gander to gamble so they don't do it openly.

Some people both man and woman hide their gambling life because of the discrimination that comes from been seen as a gambler. People think everybody gambling is addicted and losing money so they stay away from them which is why those gambling hide it from others.
3514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 09, 2023, 04:52:10 PM

Because of KYC verification which is now done by most crypto casino to know the people who gamble on their casino, I think anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency in crypto casino.

Am i wrong to think that this information on the internet needs to be updated.

You're not wrong because the authorities are trying all they can to make sure crypto casinos are very unattractive because people has been finding cryptocurency casino more nice to use than traditional casinos as transaction are done anonymously but that has changed.

The requirements of KYC been requested by every crypto casino has taken the anonymity from gambling as every account is now linked to a face that the government can get access to whenever they want by going to the casino to request for them based on security measures.

These casino don't have to blamed because the bad eggs among us has been using crypto casino for their evil plans like money laundering and other illegal activities. We can stay anonymous by not letting our personal wallet linked with our gambling accounts by using mixers.
3515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's safe to say - gambling is a guy thing. on: August 09, 2023, 04:42:09 PM
There has been any proof that gambling are actually a men thing. Because even women can actually do gambling if they wish to. However, let’s just say men are actually risk takers and quite adventurous than women, and they see things more differently like women. And when it comes to profit sourcing, men are actually good at it most particularly in gambling where most of the games are dominated by men. That’s why men are more vulnerable to gambling addiction because of their high sensation towards the effects of gambling.

Men are likely to become gambling addicts and that's because men gamble more than women. If a survey is ran, in every ten people we ask if they're gamblers or not we'll find more of men than woman and that can back the claims that gambling is a man thing as they do it more.

But this doesn't stop woman from gambling, in today world things are changing from the normal way they were as there's no more discrimination of jobs or things men or women can do so everything can be done by both woman and men which means gambling included.

While gambling is both a man and woman activity, we shouldn't ignore the fact that more men are gambling than woman and when a question is asked if gambling is a man or woman thing, while it's for both genders but the thing has to go to those that do it more which is men.
3516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: August 06, 2023, 02:26:50 AM
Gamblers are one of the most superstitious person that you find in the world. Perhaps he doesn't want to share because he believed that it will just bring bad luck to him. As for me, I don't care, I will share my predictions here or with my friends and others.

I don't have a problem sharing my bets as well, the bets has already been placed and there's no influence on the games if I showed it to thousands of people or not, superstition only works if you believe in it but I don't believe any superstition because I'm not a spiritual person.

Gambler's are believers of superstitions because they need luck to win their bets and when they believe in something it's easier for them to believe that they'll be lucky playing that particular bet but this has nothing to do with their winning, superstition are just for confidence.

I don't believe in superstitious but still there's some pattern I established for myself that I used before playing any game and sometimes it works for me while others times it doesn't work so I don't depend on that patterns to play my bet but I still use them to boost my confidence.
3517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do wager affect outcomes in any provably fair games on: August 06, 2023, 02:14:57 AM
I don't think so. Most reputable casino sites that we use these days does not link our bets with previous ones.
Most of these sites use the provably fair algorithm which shows that every bet is individual and wagering does not have any affect on our bets.
You should keep analyzing over the next few weeks and see if you can observe a pattern and then share with us in case you do.

You're correct and what's happening to OP and others is just a coincidence, there's no relationship or link between how much we wager and our wins. The system used by the casino is very fair. If you win your bets you win without any alterations, if casinos are cheating it will be obvious.

Any casinos that's using the amount you wager to determine if you'll win your bet or increase your chances of winning isn't a fair casino and you shouldn't be using the casino to bet. Just observe the casino more and when you noticed a pattern you report the casino so we avoid them.

Sometimes it's how your luck work but you'll think that's how the casino is programed, there are people when they're gambling and they wager small amount they won't win but when they increase the wager they win while others it's the other way that it works for them.
3518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: August 04, 2023, 06:56:26 AM
Quitting gambling is not essential for those who truly enjoy gambling. In some cases, there is need to give up gambling when one becomes addicted and has almost exhausted all his resources. Generally, a gambler cannot quit gambling even though if he wants to do it in some causes. Many have mentioned various strategies to take a break from gambling. But there must be personal effort as well as a gambler having to relate to his new environment where everything other than gambling can be discussed. A gambler naturally gets excited when a close friend talks about gambling. So leaving the accompany can also be a good way.

Anybody enjoying gambling doesn't have to quit, quiting is for only those that are not enjoying gambling because of the losses they're getting. Gambling will not favor everyone so if you noticed it isn't favoring you, you have to do the right thing on time and quit before it breaks you.

If you're not addicted to gambling, I don't see any reason why you should stop gambling as well. You mightn't be making profits because you aren't doing it correctly. You have to use a different strategy and see if it'll work for you to give you profits for you to continue gambling.

I believe you have to be comfortable hearing about gambling discussion without been interest to gamble because if you just run away from the discussion, you might meet new friends that at some point will bring up gambling discussion and if you don't have control of yourself, you'll go back to gambling.
3519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's safe to say - gambling is a guy thing. on: August 04, 2023, 06:34:29 AM
Hey y'all...Seriously, I've been having this running through my mind.. maybe it's been discussed but this is on a diverse objective.
Why is it that we tend to have alot of men inclined and addicted to gambling than women? Is there any mystery guiding that?
I mean, You ain't gonna tell me that everyone isn't roofed by this economic crises - both gender to speak of - so what's so special about men gambling?? Alot of cases has been reported several times too - and y'all end up realizing that MEN are usually involved in very many critical cases... What's that validating? That men are really taking the whole thing personal??

Sandra 🧑‍🦰

Men are natural breadwinner so they'll be taking more risk and looking for ways to bring money to their family and since job isn't surplus in the world, men are turning to gambling in trying to bring money to their family. This means men are the higher percentage of gamblers.

Gambling isn't only a men thing as anybody can gamble, both genders and other genders can gamble but men do it more that's just the difference. Some culture prevents women from participating in gambling in public but with the introduction of online casino, more women are gambling.

Online casino makes it difficult to know who has a higher percentage of gamblers as we mightn't know if the woman are taking the lead since there's no way to verify who is playing at the end of the computer and KYC can't give an accurate data since KYC images can be bought.
3520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mistake that prevented your big win. on: July 31, 2023, 06:37:53 PM
As a gambler,I know that we have done so many mistakes in the pass base on our bets and wrong strategy or calculations that we have done which led to losing the game that was suppose to make you win big. I want to use myself as an example,I love sportbet and I bet more on it. Last months I placed my bet on 7 games that was to be played for two days. When the 5th game was played, all matches came out as predicted and I was called by the casino,to offer me a cash out of $200 in my local currency and I refused it because if the other two games was played and the I got the predictions right. I will win $1200,so I turned the offer down. The painful part of it was that the two games were to kick off on the same time, and after the games,my prediction for the two games was wrong. I felt so bad because I allowed greed to control my emotion. For this reason,I having decided that when ever I have an opportunity to cash out again,I will always go for it,instead of thinking that I can win all the money.
So my question is this,as a gambler what mistake have you made when gambling that prevented you from winning big.
Let's discuss.

I have made many mistakes that have prevented me from winning big but I don't keep record because I know if I decide not to do that thing again  that doesn't mean I'll win the game since gambling isn't something you can predict the outcome, as wining is based on luck.

The only thing I have learnt my lesson on and kept on reminding myself whenever I play bets is to always stick to what my guts tell me. I don't go back on my bets and don't add more games to it or change my mind after I have locked my bets in, I do this to avoid regrets.

If you still have problems with controlling your greediness it's going to cause you alot of losses when gambling as it's greediness that's one of the many reasons why gamblers lose. Also don't over bet as using big amount to stake doesn't mean you'll be successful with your bets.
