3501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever bought games from Steam using Bitcoin? If so, for how much? on: February 04, 2017, 01:28:35 PM
I bought two CS:GO Keys, so I bought a $5 Steam Wallet Code with BTC. It is my second thing bought with BTC. I bought GTA V and a few other games before, on Xbox One. The transaction went instantly completed (I chose to pay the default fees), and I got my money instantly in game.
3502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Insurance on: February 04, 2017, 12:51:15 PM
I do not think this type of service exists anywhere. At first I thought you wanted to suggest the idea of getting an insurance for your BTC wallet. You can implement BTC as a payment method fir sure, that would bring others' the curiosity about Bitcoin too maybe.
3503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: February 04, 2017, 10:55:09 AM
What is like most about Bitcoin is freedom of performing transactions on my own will at any time without being dependent on third party services that is main things along with everything else. At start confirmation time was bit annoying but for benefits it is understandable sometimes delays of confirmation.

They aren't really that annoying if you think about it, I mean if you want them to be confirmed faster you just put a higher transaction fee. The best thing is that you are your own bank. Nobody cares about you and nobody will be able to know who you are no matter what you're doing with the money.
3504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: current cost of a pizza in bitcoins <.036086 on: February 04, 2017, 09:06:51 AM
And only a few years ago that guy needed to pay 10kBTC for a pizza, which is worth MILLIONS now... Maybe one day we will talk about paying 0.04BTC for a pizza as we are talking about that guy too! It would be awesome. Cheesy
3505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Still getting hit with 1+ hour confirm times, sometimes 6+ hours... on: February 04, 2017, 07:42:12 AM
Choose recommended fees if you care abiut the confirmation time, but I am mostly sending my money to other wallets that I own and I really don't care about it.. so that's why I am using just 0.0001BTC in fees for all transactions, and they get confirmed in about two days.
3506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great way to make Bitcoin! on: February 03, 2017, 05:15:16 PM
The greatest ways to make bitcoins is from trading and from signature campaign and if you have any technical skills then it will be an added advantage as you can sell your services and can earn bitcoins regularly as you don't have to invest any money into it the only thing you invest is your time and efforts.
Trading is a good way to earn some money if you have the patience and the bank roll to enter the coin at the right time and to exit at a profit and multiply your coins but making money from signature campaign is not true as it is not easy to make the money as you say from a campaign as the rates are really low.

You know i earn better from signature campaign than trade, Because in trading all your coins on the risk, and in signature campaign our bitcoin is not on the risk, if we do work than we earn from it. But it is right, we earn not high but we could earn from signature campaign.

Signature campaigns are a waste of time for anything beyond small gains, like beer type of money. Anyone willing to make any relevant amount of money is going to take big risks. Not even working for a wage is ever going to make you rich unless you take risky decisions to make huge gains.
I agree with you about signature campaign is a waste of time but if the person is new to bitcoin or in this community he would end up being at signature campaign for sure while learning how to earn bitcoin and how it works it is much better to join some campaign and earn while doing some research before investing large amount of money by trading or straight up to mining.

Funny how you agreed that signature campaign is a waste of time while you're in the Qtum signature campaign. Roll Eyes Pretty hypocritical, don't you think? Smiley

You're not wearing signature because you want to learn here while getting paid to post to do so. You're already a full member so by now you should understand the basics and the intermediate part of bitcoins unless you're so busy posting for your signature campaign.

It's not a waste of time. While surf browsing on this forum you are learning about Bitcoin and others' opinions on different things. This while you're also making money and helping a website. I don't really find it a waste of time, it's more of a knowledge helper.
3507  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price drops as PBOC continues inspections on: February 03, 2017, 11:21:59 AM
It will only fall a little bit until the operation is done. Just like anything else that is being inspected, you need to slow down until the inspection is done. Now the price rose over $1k again and will have a few spikes in the future, but it only has to keep rising.
3508  Economy / Services / Re: QTUM Signature and Avatar Campaign [READ THE OP] on: February 03, 2017, 09:09:31 AM
Hello Sir,

I would like to inform you that I have ranked up to Sr. Member. If there is a slot available, please rank me up.

Best regards,
Kevin

EDIT: I have not read the two posts above. Does this mean I will continue to be paid 0.04BTC max per round no matter if I did or did not rank up?
3509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The danger of the cyptocurrencies on: February 03, 2017, 08:23:00 AM
Anonymous transactions of cyptocurrencies could increase illegal transactions. but, I feel that it is a common thing, in fact, almost all users cyptocurrencies already know it. but, since cyptocurrencies used for business, many people have turned to making the legal business of cyptocurrencies, and take advantage of it. perhaps, at this time, illegal transactions made using cyptocurrencies been reduced.

Not really. The transactions that are illegal haven't been stopped or reduced by busimesses. Illegal will be illegal no matter what you do. If we would crash BTC, they would move to something else and still transfer illegal money. Bitcoin's best feature in my opinion is the anonymity. I am not a criminal and I love the fact that I can do anything without being watched by anyone. This is a great thing and businesses won't stop anything. The demand is still here. Bitcoin ATM is a business too, and I can buy BTC anonymously from them !
3510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your biggest bitcoin regrets? on: February 01, 2017, 10:25:11 PM
I don't have any regret except that I didn't sell my BTC during the NYE. I wanted to do it but was scared that the pricr will go even higher in these months. I still think it will go up, but now it would have been a great moment to sell and re-buy BTC. I also hate that there were many big scams and/or hacks that drove the price down and made many people quit BTC forever.
3511  Economy / Speculation / Re: Devaluating bitcoin, analys. on: February 01, 2017, 11:07:27 AM
It will either be stable for a while and then make a big bubble again like last year, or it will go up slowly in a few months to over $1200. I do not think there are reasons right now for the price to fall, except if there will be a Bitfinex-like thing happening soon.
3512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite type of gambling? on: February 01, 2017, 09:58:09 AM
Online gambling is my favorite. I keep my identity anonymous and I can do whatever I want without having to get out of home, or I can do it from my phone and it's even better - you can bet anywhere you are. I rember having a friend who was betting in his free time while he was at the beach.. Cheesy
3513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin to buy everyday needs? on: February 01, 2017, 05:41:46 AM
I haven't found a lot of local places that accept bitcoin directly but it is fairly easy to purchase gift cards to quite a variety of places via bitcoin and then use it for your every day purchases.

Yeah but for everyday needs it doesn't help too much.. I know we can buy things like Amazon gift cards of different values or so, but we can't buy food or drinks from there, and we can't pay with BTC at restaurants or pretty much anywhere else. It has to become way more popular than it is right now in order to get it inside more shops.
3514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of the money on: January 31, 2017, 10:38:42 PM
Dice and BlackJack. I love BlackJack because it feels way more fun and can also be played with friends physically, but dice was the game that attracted me the most into. I became absolutely dependent of it, I was staying over 10 hours a day on the website trying to make something out of a simple faucet. It is fun too and addictive.
3515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How To Buy A House And A Car With Bitcoin? on: January 31, 2017, 10:25:37 PM
The process is as simple as a fiat -> car process is, but the hard part is finding users that are going to actually accept your payment method. Most of them will not accept it probably, and the Real Estate agents.. I do not think they accept BTC either. There are many in my country which is surprising for me because Bitcoin isn't popular at all here, so you should find one too on Ebay or any local websites similar to it.
3516  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: January 31, 2017, 12:26:57 PM
I used to write articles for a payment of approximately $2.5-$5 per article. After a few posts only, I moved to BTCTalk and I prefer spending my time here learning some new things while earning even more than $5 every week or so. I am also trading with some items, negotiating and trying to buy for less and sell for more. I wish one day I will be able to make a living out of Bitcoin, as an extra salary.
3517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: January 31, 2017, 09:48:42 AM
Trump’s style is I think that of a protectionist type of government. If he thinks that something is detrimental to the welfare of the majority of his people, he would act on it and do what he thinks is best for his country. If something happens related to bitcoin that pisses off Trump, that could lead to it being banned in all the states.

I've been with him for a while now (supporting him), but I still have a few doubts about him and his presidency. We have to wait at least a few months to see what he is up to. Until now he has done a few of his campaign promises, which sounds great: he is doing all the tasks he is telling us he will. Let's hope he won't ban Bitcoin though.. Cheesy
3518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Qtum] UTXO based POS Smart Contract Platform|On Coindesk & Bitcoinmagazine on: January 31, 2017, 05:39:13 AM
Qtum is everywhere, the identity of the team members are on twitter, those needed informations are already revealed, what else is missing?
everything is here and the only thing that we will be waiting is the rising of this project.

I am waiting for this project to be published and started too! I'm really curious to see what the price will be and how many people will join in. And because the project sounds great, for me not to be late at the party again, I will invest in it before it goes big.
3519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the Bitcoin issue where transactions take longer than 1 hour STILL exist? on: January 30, 2017, 12:15:08 PM
The transaction input and size is getting bigger, the block difficulty is getting higher and so the recommended fees will have to get higher too, I guess. Unless you want your transaction to be immediately confirmed you can pay low fees, but for example my 0.0001BTC fee for a 0.02BTC transaction got confirmed in about 36 hours (1,5 days).
3520  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is better for bitcoin future? Mass adoption or huge price increase? on: January 30, 2017, 06:21:42 AM
Mass adoption is better for bitcoin future. If there is huge increase in price, it will be only helpful for traders. It will not help for bitcoin progress in long run. People and retailers should be made aware of bitcoin and they should be made to adopt bitcoin. It will make bitcoin to spread widely. Moreover, mass adoption would increase the demand for bitcoin, which would inturn increase the price of bitcoin.

But doesn't mass adoption bring a higher price and vice versa? Cheesy I think it does. The two factors are depending on each other, so no matter which you choose, the other one will take place too. But for a better future I think we need a mass adoption..
