OK.. we're almost in to October and I don't see any real change in the odds for Caleb Plant. For Caleb, the odds remain in +500 to +600 range (which are still overestimating his chances IMO). None of his verbal tirade against Canelo seems to have impressed the fans. If there was an uptick in bets favoring him, then the odds would have definitely changed. That hasn't happened. Neither the fans, or the sportsbooks think that he is having a realistic chance of defeating Canelo. And this may be the most one-sided fight featuring Canelo in the recent times.
Bookies see that fans and bettors are not buying the drama. They still think that Canelo has a high edge over Plant. Though for sure there are still people who will bet for Plant in hope that upset will happen, but the majority still siding for Canelo knowing that talent and skills wise this man have a lot of advantage. The chance that bookies implied is very small, giving such odd for Plant. If you have spare and you are into gambling, this one might give you some enticing interest to multiply or to grow your money. Why not go for a KO win for Plant, I'm sure the odds will be higher since people do not believe that Plant has a decent chance to upset Canelo here. But of course, for fun you can do that, probably betting on per round KO would be more interesting as the odds gets higher. Have you watched Butler and Graballo's Games? if not then try checking if back their last 3 games and you can compare how good they are in their own divisions .
let us not be blinded because of Donaire and Casimero's popularity instead lets look at what are their opponent capacity to face them and the possibilities of beating them.
I've checked both of Donaire's and Casimero's opponents and of the two Donaire will have a hard time figuring Graballo, he is young hungry, and undefeated, Donaire will dominate the early round and will try to knock him out just like he did to Oubaali, Graballo should pace the fight and do not be too aggressive it's the late-round where Donaire will expose his weakness, just like what happened on his match against Inoue. It means that Donaire has all the tools to win against Gaballo even if the latter is young. Donaire will have too much experience for the young guy and he might be intimidated as well to fight Nonito. So I think Donaire will be too much, no disrespect to Gaballo, but they are not in the same league yet, he still need to get more fights at this level before he can pull an upset on Nonito. Gaballo is an aggressive fighter, but knowing that Donaire is just looking for a good opportunity to throw his left hook, he might slow down and play more defense to ensure he would last. lol. . Cant blame out people on why they are really that in main talks because of the hype and interest neither Casimero vs Inoue or Donaire vs Inoue etc.. For now they would need to face up those opponents

I just found out that Donaire has still a very huge chances to win against this young fighter.
This guy Gaballo is a solid puncher, but he still needs precision to his punches or else he'll end up not hitting a single solid punch against an agile Donaire.
Though Gaballo may be undefeated, but he hasn't fought against an elite fighter. I guess this will be the beginning of his career.
Everyone begins somewhere and it seems that this is going to be the first real test on the career of Gaballo, however the fact that he has the punching power always gives him a chance, how many fights we have seen in which a fighter seems to have no chance of winning the fight and then they connect a good punch an that is more than enough to win the fight or at least to change the course that it was having, so Donaire still needs to be careful so this does not happen to him. The problem here is Donaire cannot KO Gaballo, he might be at a disadvantage as Gaballo is the younger fighter and he has better stamina than Donaire. So my point here is, Donaire should go for a KO early, otherwise, the decision might favor Gaballo if he gets tired in the later rounds. This could be the case and KO is not easy at all especially if your opponent is a great boxer too with a good record and younger than you. Donaire have to put extra effort here and do his proper training, because this a huge fight for him, though its ok to aim for an early KO but its better to focus on his strength and stay active through out the rounds. IMO, it's not really a huge fight, although Gaballo is younger and undefeated the quality of opponent Donaire beat is higher than what Gaballo had beaten, it's a big test for Gaballo but for Donaire, it should be an ordinary day in the office comes the day of the fight. |

While Ryota Murata is a decent fighter on his own merit, I don't think there will be much contest when he's matched against Golovkin. Not to disrespect Murata or anything, but I think his experience isn't enough to outclass and outmatch Golovkin's tenure on the ring. Still, this could be a fight that we're waiting to watch. A refresher, I must say, as we will see a relatively-new fighter square it off against an experienced warrior in the ring. It's exciting to see how Murata will handle himself against the likes of GGG.
Not to disrespect, of course, you are just telling the truth I also have the opinion that Murata's experience is not enough to counter GGG experience and power, Golovkin still has what it takes to beat anyone in the ring, promoters should give Golovkin to fight Canelo again, they are the only fight of both fighters that challenge their boxing skill, Canelo has been beating champions while Golovkin is facing unknown fighters, where's the justice here. This should not be a problem for GGG, the quality of his opponent below the quality of the opponents he beat in his previous fight. We all long to see a trilogy of GGG and Canelo, but I think this will not happen anymore as eventually, GGG will retire soon, at 39 years old, he is already good to retire if he will not get big fights after this fight. |

It looks like they need to wait for long time before Klay can play and that can really hurt their organization if that timeline is true, provably they are not a team to beat if their line up is incomplete so maybe its good for Warriors to adjust their rooster and get those possible player who can fill the slot of Klay.
I do hope we cannot see warriors didn't reach the playoffs since its exciting to watch Steph competing other teams on playoffs since the games is more intense compere to regular season.
I guess it will be hard for the Warriors to find another player with the same skills if Thompson needs more time to fully recover from an injury. The Warriors definitely need Klay, although it's worth noting that they were so close to reaching the playoffs last season even without him. The regular season starts next month, so they will miss him, however, as long as the Warriors are still competing like they do last season, they will still hang around with some balance wins and loses before Thompson will come back, and with him playing back again, their chances to be in the playoffs will increase. |
