3501  Economy / Economics / Re: A Sudden Price Drop in The Crypto Markets on: May 20, 2021, 01:52:51 PM
I feel bad about those idiots who dumped their coins yesterday at $34,000 per coin. The prices have gone up by 24% since then. This is a lesson to anyone. If you want to profit from Bitcoin, then you need to do two things - 1. avoid panic selling 2. hold your coins for the long term (>3 years). Those who are unable to do eithter of these two need to make their exit from Bitcoin market. In a way, I believe that these corrections are beneficial for the health of Bitcoin. They help us to get rid of the less serious investors.

Setting your target and stay with it whatever happened around the market gives you the advantage,
those who panicked and rush to sell their coins are now regretting.

Not knowing that fuds really hit them and makes them to decide unknowingly, now that the market is again moving upwards those wise who continue to buy more coins while the price is cheap are already getting even with those old assets that they've hold before this huge fall happened.

They can sell it out and wait again or add it up with their holdings for much higher profits once the strong bull pumped back.

-Snip-
Issue here is the confirmation time but honestly it isnt really that long to wait up for at least 6 confirmation and i dont mind to wait up for that time but there are really gamblers
whom do really see this as a serious or important issue but honestly crediting with 1 confirmation is best where it doesnt consume time which does
suit out when you are an active gambler.

I understand that and yes there are different insight with this confirmation time, there are gamblers who see it as big issue with their gambling activities while for those who didn't mind much about it as long as they can continue playing, waiting for some time is not a big deal.

Always depends from how a gambler see this and how they embrace the system, more on satisfactions and comfort with the site that they are using, even there's some delay with their transactions as long as they are enjoying the site services, then they'll continue to stay and keep on playing.
3503  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: May 19, 2021, 06:55:29 PM

For crypto deposits, we require a certain number of confirmations.

Bitcoin (BTC): 1 confirmation

Ethereum (ETH): 12 confirmations

Litecoin (LTC): 6 confirmations
The main issue at this time for players could be transaction fees for Bitcoin and ETH as memepool is filled with unconfirmed transaction with average fees of $13 for btc at this time or 150 sat/vb and 20 minutes avg time to confirm transaction.

But ETH network is overcongested at this time and Gas are too high for every player to afford and they spiked very much like $80 for each transaction which can be quite high for $100-$200 deposit. The confirmation required are also more for eth as well.

Litecoin is best alternative for players at this time which provides less transaction avg fees of $0.58/byte with speed and each player can afford to make deposit with that coin.

Thanks for sharing, gamblers surely looking for such alternatives to continue playing, with huge fees from both BTC and ETH and with slower transaction period, LTC might be the solution to continue enjoying their favorite games inside the house, since LTC is also one of those known alts around this sphere it won't be hard to anyone to use it as an alternative.

Knowing gamblers, they will find what they've think is best for them. They'll find ways to keep playing and enjoying their gambling habits.
3504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: May 19, 2021, 04:55:50 PM
If the terms of the casino are that it requires your personal identity in which they will acquired you to submit first a KYC to them and some legal documents and the Crypto-casino has a good standard and good standing among the casinos out there then maybe I will agree on their terms and regulations.
Maybe yes for some people but also No  for some who discreetly involve to this kind of activities, gamblers who wanted to stay unknown

while doing their gambling practices won't allow themselves to submit any legal documents and complete KYC.

Quote
But the thing is that it is a crypto casino meaning they are accepting cryptocurrency in depositing and withdrawal then why should they ask for your identity? If they will just give your winnings in a form of cryptocurrency? Unless they are supporting FIAT currency in withdrawal.

They are required by the law that juristic their permits, they can't just simply provides your winning if the amount already exceed from the money laundering act, both fiat and crypto if already been require by law can't do anything about KYC.
3505  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk really has the ability to manipulate the bitcoin market on: May 19, 2021, 12:39:27 PM
This is still the wild wild west, after all. And Elon is so influential a figure that his statements, whether true or not, mean a lot to the market. Not to mention that he's got the money, too, to actually direct the price movement to a certain extent.

But it cannot be like this forever. Whether or not Elon would continue to blabber over Twitter, people would soon begin to see how ridiculous things are doing and whatever Elon says would have less and less effect to the market.
He's got everything he needs to manipulate the market, he's a successful businessman with several companies under his name. Since the cryptocurrency market is decentralized, thus he faces no consequences for his actions, his only goal is to profit from his actions, taking advantage of the current volatility. I think he is starting to annoy the crypto community, it has definitely irritated me.

Lots of traders and investors especially those small time players are now annoyed with his action, he don't have anything to lose as he got lots of money to play if in case he needed to use his wealth.

His popularity brings him up and until now he's keeps on playing and making more money out from this market, let see if how long he still dominates.

As what you have said, there are now more people who got annoyed with him,.
3506  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: any opinions about the recent btc price crash? on: May 19, 2021, 11:55:28 AM
I think negative news has a huge effect regarding this bitcoin price dropped. Many bitcoin holders sell their bitcoin for profit and the demand is not huge enough to maintain the higher value of bitcoin. But I believe it will not last long because whales are waiting to buy in a dip.
Negative news or FUD did have an important role in the fall of bitcoin prices. However, the FUD that is reported must be published in the big media or shared by accounts that do have a lot of followers and are influential, such as Elon Musk, who recently gave controversial tweets that made bitcoin prices crash.

The fall in bitcoin prices indicates the bitcoin market is getting saturated and it is time to go down. Having spare capital would be very good to buy at a cheap price.
We know cryptocurrency seems to be vulnerable to news from influential people, after Ellon declared his departure from bitcoin, a slow reversal occurred and until now the price has tended to fall 30% in the last 7 days. it is possible that this will be used by other parties to plan purchases

It can go to that direction but also possible that it won't be taken by new big investors thinking that this business is just easy to manipulate.

Most of those institutional investors aimed to go for long term and they don't want to see falling market in an easy way, possibilities that they'll going to investigate and assess more before participating to this kind of industry will be their first moves.
3507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: May 19, 2021, 10:37:10 AM
One thing is having these experience, the next thing is what you learnt and how to get back to your fit. Its always advised not to invest or gamble what you can't afford to lose. So, we must ask ourself at every point before making a stake. What would become of us should we loose the staked amount?

Let's go about gambling responsibly.

Easier said than done and I always say and I will repeat it here,,, You HAVE to find a small circle of friends who love and care for each other, to support each other in gambling responsibly. It is easy to say on your own, impossible to implement.

Let someone close know your habits, your budgets, your wins and losses. And you do the same for them. Take care of each other like a buddy system:)

There's always a big factors when you have someone who are guarding your back while you are still engaging to this kind of activities.,

People who will care about you when they are seeing that you already losing your control and you are already exceeding to your limits.

Sets your budget and let yourself enjoy what you are doing but never to extend or overspend your money, allow your friends who are also into this
field to work with you, it's best to have someone who's going to go back to back with you whenever you play the game.
3508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and energy consumption on: May 19, 2021, 10:20:55 AM
Energy consumption becomes an issue to create FUD but seriously, the consumption is huge but I can’t imagine how much energy and raw materials do you need to print fiat money? I guess this should not be the real issue here. I don’t panic on that kind of news, i just focus buying a cheaper good coins because I know they’ll rise again.

Better doing that than stressing yourself following those fuds, inside this sphere there are lots of opportunities, if you want a lesser stress then follow your own understanding and keep yourself away from those news which only focused with shaking the market and moving those weak holders to release their holdings and lose their investment eventually.

Take your time and make your own statement during bear and bull seasons, it's you who can decide which path to take and not those fuds and fomos that keeps bothering the market.
3509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 19, 2021, 09:41:29 AM

With Drummond addition, Anthony Davis can focus on Offensive with Lebron, and as everybody says, this is really the team to beat even though they will be in the 7th or 8th seed it does not matter, the only reason they are at the bottom is that the two superstars are out and suns and jazz are aware of that I think they are praying not to face this team because its playoffs they will not get easy on any team especially their throne is on the line.

If those Lakers superstars are healthy, there is no problem facing either of those teams. But before that, they need to win one more game to officially enter the NBA Playoffs and there's no doubt that will play with the one of the current best team in the league this year. If they can beat their first opponent in the first round, then the next games will be as easy as last year's games for them.
Unfortunately, they don't have any Howard and Rondo right now which will make the game difficult than last year.

I see your point, the experienced and aggressiveness from Rondo and Howard really helped them to win the title from that last bubble.

But it's also true that if this Lakers squad will play healthier without any injury problem whoever they'll going to face in this incoming playoffs will still have a tough job beating them. Lakers with LeBron and Davis still have the advantage forcing things in their shoulders, and adding those supporting cast who are also good in their respective roles.

Let see tomorrow if they'll going to advance and win the number 7 spot from the hot Curry's leading Warriors.
3510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: May 17, 2021, 08:23:10 PM
That guy will fight for money again and it should be in favor to him just to remain his record clean and his reputation so I also don't think the fight between Mayweather and Pacquaio will happen again. Anyway, I don't see the latest update about Money fighting Terence since I heard the news about Fighting Garcia instead in July, no final announcement yet.

The 2015 fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather generated around $500 million, and was one of the most revenue generating fights in the history of boxing. If they wanted a rematch, then it should have been arranged in the next 1-2 years. Now both the athletes are in their 40s and I don't think that a fight between them will generate enough revenue, on a level we had in 2015. Also, Mayweather has made it clear manytimes that he is no longer interested in a rematch. For all practical purposes, he is retired from boxing.
True, and it is not difficult to know why this was the case as there are many reasons for this, Floyd cares about his undefeated record so after he beat Manny then he had no more reason to expose it, however we also know that Floyd loves money so he could have fought again if the money was right, but that never happened, and that is because the fight was not interesting, the fight was boring and while I can appreciate the technical aspects, people were disappointed with the fight which meant that it will never generate as much money as it did back then.

With  kind of results people who watched that fight knew that if ever that the rematch happened it won't be interesting anymore.

The result itself is so disappointed and the fight that Mayweather did was nothing but to run away and keep defending to avoid Pacman's punch. promoters are not seeing any potentials to throw investment with this fight, that's why it not been talked that much anymore.
3511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: May 17, 2021, 05:55:00 PM
I also heard that Biden government has relieved fully vaccinated persons to be live mask free life and they do not need to wear mask anywhere. But what I personally feel is that until this problem is fully resolved we need to take precautions and be on safe side because virus can hit anybody as I have came across cases with vaccines also. You need to show your certificates or online proof to the casino owners or anywhere you want to travel or you don't know what type of surrounding you are.The world needs to heal from this situations but keep yourself safe first to gamble afterwards.

I agree with people with Vaccine is not 100% fully immune to the Covid 19 virus, in fact, I think there is just a 94% effectiveness in any person that is vaccinated people that are vaccinated can still be a carrier of the virus so it is still unsafe to implement a no mask Casino for gambling goers, this could only cause wrong understanding of the situation we are now if we are not the ones preventing the pandemic to boom again I think this kind of establishment will surely cause another surge in people getting infected.

Preventions is better than cure, there's no 100% assurance that those who already vaccinated are free or safe with the virus.

It's still better to continue the protocols especially with close doors in house casinos, we don't know who's the carrier still and not because certain person already vaccinated means that he's can't be a carrier.

Don't put our guards down, it's still wise to keep your safety measures, equipped yourself as always.
3512  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anybody else feel relieved this dip finally happened? on: May 17, 2021, 04:26:19 PM
I despise the sensation, but I'm grateful that it has actually occurred. We were all expecting a 30% drop. If it hadn't happened now, it would have happened at $100,000. At $100K, it's very likely! This price behavior is completely natural for bitcoin, and my durability deteriorates throughout bull runs.
Not relief but probably another great opportunity to enter the market again. January to February we've witnessed 23%-26% decline, but we have recovered. And it's better that we seen it this month, and yes this should happen, and now the game begins. We can enter today, or just wait for another dip, it's our call. And then hold again for at least at the end of the year.
For believers and newcomers who are now thinking of investing to this business, now is the perfect timing,
after that huge run that brings the value to the new time high.

It's up to every traders and investors  in how they'll be treating this market movements to favor their investment ventures.

Just need to make sure to calculate and analyze every dip and how you'll going to position your entry / exit point.
3513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 17, 2021, 02:49:57 PM
Remember that this season is going to be exciting, there's a lot of movement prior to this season and I'm sure you are excited to see which teams are successful with their decision.

Yes, because for the first time, I believe that SMB will have a tough season even with Fajardo back in the lineup. Ginebra is stronger now, and Magnolia as well. I believe either of the teams I've mentioned will win the PBA All Filipino Finals.

Agree to that, it's no longer the domination of the Beermen the upgrade of this two other franchise of SMB corp. will give them a hard time.

Last bubble champ BGSM added CStand giving them a two tower with speed and skills, while Magnolia added Abueva who can provide them additional

boost as the way he played this game. though it's not that this 3 teams alone there's also the Pangilinan groups and the rest of the franchises that will
compete with them.
3514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 16, 2021, 03:47:16 PM

I think his journey in the PBA is quite successful already.

He started playing in the year 2006, so that's 15 years in PBA and he also won 4 championships in his career.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jay-R_Reyes

The old guys are leaving to give that opportunity to the young guns, hopefully, this will open a slot for the young players.

All of his success is within the SMB team only, he is lucky that he has played in a good team with JMF being the consistent MVP. He is not a starter but with his experience, he was able to help the SMB to win, without a supporting player like him, a team would not succeed so he is also a big part. At age 36 and in the tough situation where we are at now, maybe he realizes that it's time to retire and focus on his life after PBA.

He got lots of injuries and he's speed is no longer there, I like him as one of those supporting
cast who can give quality minutes while JMF is resting.

Giving enough time he also produce good numbers, same with Yancee De Ocampo they gave Fajardo enough rest as they are
both good back up when SMB needed them.

Time for Reyes to step out since there are many new kids who can substitute for him, younger that can move more faster than him.
3515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 16, 2021, 03:25:10 PM
The outcome of the standing tomorrow depends on the outcome of the Blazers vs Denver.

It's probably the biggest game this season, so it's worth watching.
I'm not sure how the Nuggets will approach this but the line is quite unbelievable now.

Their record this year is 2-0 in favor of the Nuggets so how is it possible that Denver Nuggets is now +10.5?

ML @ 5.80 wow that's interesting knowing that Denver is really improved their line up this season.

As per checking with expected injuries aside from Jamal also  W. Barton and  PJ Dozier are out, meaning to say that it's still a solid lineup for Denver and with this line up they got 3 in the row wins.

Fans can spare with the ML and also can have that handicap. GL!
3516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: May 16, 2021, 11:15:49 AM
And it could have a negative effect on Rigo too once he read Casimero's statement.

I don't think so, they are in the business for a long period of time already, it's not new to them, trash talk and everything, these are just words and it would help to hype the fight, but the real fight is in the right, not outside.

For sure! those trash talks are part of this business, marketing strategy to attract fans engagements, the more they use blatant words the more the fans

will get excited and see how it will going to executed. I use to remember those fighters who do this with Pacman, after the fight they've realized that
it was so wrong making statements to him as they've suffer the consequences.
3517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn in crypto in 2021 on: May 16, 2021, 10:54:08 AM
well, the only things that aren't risky here are memes and airdrops. however, if it has a risk, then the risk is small. besides that, from the past until now bounties are still a good way to generate crypto, in fact, it also has a small risk from some of the methods mentioned.

yeah right, bounties still have some decent profits if you know what project you are joining and you do understand the potential.

It's you who can deliver success if you point your self in the right direction in learning first before dealing or participating with any types of bounties.

Cryptocurrency staking could be one of the best choices especially you are a HODLer. Because it is better to continue accumulating your coins while waiting patiently to make a good profit in the long run. But if you don't have much money, you won't be able to accumulate much in a short period by staking also.  Grin  Because the APY rates are not that high for every coins.

Multiplying or growing your coins just by supporting the chain, it's good when you have collections of asset that really moving forward.

Project that didn't stop developing, the effect always favor the value of the coin.
3518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 15, 2021, 03:23:52 PM
I simply took Cavs ML today at@5 odds and I'm feeling happy about it. I did not place much but I still don't trust Wizards because they concede too much points in their games and Cavs are always speculating this kind of teams who are playing super offensive. It's a risky bet I know but in my opinion I did the right choice and the game is about to begin.

It was a lost though but yeah Cavs always wants to play against very offensive team and they are trying
to really give the competitions to the next level.

No Kevin  Love to help them today, after  winning their last game  from the Celtics, They've fought well just been
overpower in the 3rd period and they've got nothing to left in the last period to try chasing that lead.

While Wizard have WB he really working well and continue to comes up with best performance.

3519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you "swap" your crypto for a Tesla? on: May 14, 2021, 06:14:22 PM
of course not, I prefer to swap my crypto for Lamborghini than Tesla (I think Lamborghini is cooler than Tesla) and of course than I bought Tesla, then I better still HOLD my crypto, because I believe that in the next 10 years, I can swap my crypto for 3 Tesla and if I swap now then I only get 1 Tesla, so of course I will definitely regret it if I swap my crypto for Tesla right now.
And just like that the opportunity that we had to buy a Tesla with our bitcoin is gone, Elon has withdrawn that ability with some lame excuse, some say that sooner or later that option is going to make a comeback but I am not so sure, quite honestly I tought that Elon was smarter than this, whenever people think of buying something luxurious with their coins they always talk about lambos, I thought this was a strategy to replace lambos with teslas but it seems that was not the case.

Seems that he's testing the sentiments of the people, after that withdrawal we seen some market falls,
shaking those weak holders who are affected of certain news.

But currently, we do see another good bounce, giving money to those who are strong enough buying the dip and
collect those cheap coins that being thrown.

This topic for now is no longer available as Musk / tesla removed this option.

3520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I swap my BTC to altcoins and hold for better benefits? on: May 14, 2021, 05:54:10 PM
I suggest you increase the amount of bitcoin you have as much as possible and hold it. Isn't that the main goal of many people here anyway? to have as many bitcoins as possible. Of course, while doing this, it is necessary not to miss the opportunities in altcoins. It is necessary to be able to follow bitcoin and altcoins at the same time. It is necessary to be aware of the opportunities. but replacing bitcoin with altcoins is not a logical idea to me.

that's just a strategy, if you look at the condition of bitcoin for 2 months, of course you will switch to altcoin if you are an experienced market observer because the benefits that are given to altcoins are more than btc currently only doing sideways, and when btc has started show will go up then you move back to btc.

You have to make sure that you fully understand what you are doing, it's also too risky switching from alts to BTC,
there are many cases that you'll be trapped along the way with your chosen diversions.

It's a requirements or it's a must to deeply analyze the situations and make sure to take advantage of any given opportunities
working between Bitcoin and alts market.

Money is very important better to work on it and keep enhancing your chances.
