3501  Economy / Speculation / Re: 124000 USD from bitcoins order from Overstock.com on: January 10, 2014, 06:25:12 PM
This number doesn't really have that much significance. Obviously every bitcoin user is going to rush and make an order the first day to test out the system (or inflate the numbers). But what does it say about sales over a whole year? Or how many new users it'll attract?

It's 100k more than they had the day prior.

Even if it only generates 50k for the remaining months (Only figuring USA )

That's 700k

Good for them

if ken would get these shares on an exchange, we could at least see our divs...we are owed divs since bf shut down...if we saw divs, that would quell a lot of the shit-storm of scam accusations.

I couldn't agree anymore.  This should be a priority along with the core business atm.

edit:  I also feel manual verification of shares could of been quicker at this point.

CHOOOOO-CHOOOOO: OVERSTOCK WENT LIVE !

That is not bullish. Overstock has nothing to do with bitcoin.
They simply use bitpay and accept fiat  Wink

Bitpay sells the coins asap -» Selling pressure

Being able to spend bitcoins is always a good sign.

3516  Economy / Speculation / Re: Swing Trading Analysis 1/8/2014 on: January 09, 2014, 01:29:14 AM
Price is likely to remain stuck between resistance at $850 and support at $770 until Monday.  However, drilling down to the lower timeframes shows that a bearish trend could breakout if price gets below $750.  Price would then find support at $690.

we're consolidating very bullishly in an ascending triangle formation just below $850 right now on stamp, and my calculations anticipate a breakout within the next 18 hours, give or take. we still have a lot of volatility to work through after the panic selling we saw yesterday, so i'd be surprised if we stay within that range until Monday.

Breakout up or down?

hmm, doesn't make shipping to the UK seem ideal.. thanks anyway

Hosting is an option.  I am not charging much more than you would pay for the electricity and the air conditioning.

I disagree.  You are charging way more than $0.00.

Do they all have mismatched GPU brands?

shit man good catch
