3501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 10, 2022, 09:17:17 PM
I haven't seen this discussed but I was waiting for this fight this weekend until it got postponed:

Quote

Eubank Jr. vs Benn boxing bout canceled due to drug test failure

Former IBO boxing champion Chris Eubank Jr. was set for a generational grudge match against Conor Benn on Saturday October 8th, but the fight has been scrapped at the last minute.

https://www.bloodyelbow.com/2022/10/7/23393236/boxing-drug-test-scandal-conor-benn-vs-chris-eubank-jr-cancelled-fight-news

Unfortunately, this legacy fight is cancelled because Eubank jr has been tested positive for a ban substance. And so the BBBoC has to issue and order stopping the fight. Although Matchroom and Eddie Hearn thinks that they will go and continue to his fight as unsanctioned, they just decided to postponed it for now.
3502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Haney vs Kambosos II (Undisputed) on: October 10, 2022, 09:07:50 PM
So Kambosos is trying in some undisclosed location and have a interview saying that it will be sweeter this time.

Quote
“It’s going to be sweeter this time, getting them back and becoming a two-time undisputed champion. This here is serious legacy, not only in Australian boxing but world boxing. This gives me goosebumps, that’s why I’m so motivated. The fire is burning. I can’t wait to get in there. I’ve been patient, but I am champing at the bit as well. This is legacy right here," Kambosos said to the Sydney Morning Herald.

https://www.boxingscene.com/kambosos-it-sweeter-this-time-getting-belts-back-from-haney--169617

I guess that's confidence though, but it will be very different when they are inside the ring. We have seen how he has been defeated the first time. And we all have our speculations as to what strategy he needs in the second fight. But nevertheless, their style is really conflicted that Haney defensive skills is enough to win and it could be the same as well in the rematch.
3503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bangladesh has blocked 331 online casinos on: October 10, 2022, 08:46:39 PM
Yeah, same here, I'm not surprised though, Bangladesh is a conservative Muslim country so they are going to almost ban everything including gambling. And the government will do everything in their power to stop gambling by blocking 331 online casinos and the numbers will continue to grow as proliferation of online gambling is going up as well. And with that, they have to follow their government regulations unfortunately.
3504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anderson Silva vs Jake paul who you bet on? on: October 10, 2022, 08:24:37 PM
True, Anderson may be passed his prime but his opponent can still be considered a novice in boxing since Jake Paul opponents are not really a boxer but washed-out athletes of different sports.  So that evens out the score.  The only worrying thing about Jake Paul is that he has a knockout power which can be devastating if Silva is unable to absorb those power punches.  Regardless if Silva can evade heavy blows then I might think that Silva has a better chance of winning, unless the fight is scripted  Grin.
That will be the downfall of Silva because we know that his jaw is easy to crack and Jake Paul won't have a hard time cracking it if he can manage to land a solid punch on it, he just needed to land a single or two to defeat Silva but I bet that won't come easy because Silva knows that his opponents are aiming on his head that's why he is trained to get evasive maneuvers and by the way, he is good at it.
Taking away that fact, it will be an entertaining and an even fight, I just hope they didn't have a pact tho.
That’s the whole plan for the fight basically. Silva will try to use his expertise on running away from punches, he is great at it, and he will enjoy making sure that Jake pays for all his misses as well, both on getting tired (because even missed punches tire you a lot) and also because he will counter back very well.

That’s Silva's plan, but Jake will be hoping to try to beat with just a few punches, if he lands even one amazing direct hit, it's over for Silva, so all fight Jake will be on the look out for it and maybe he will get it, or maybe he won't get it, but it will definitely be something to watch. This is the strategies for both sides, that’s it.

I think both has plans to avoid each other punch and not to get caught specially early, both have power in their hands that's for sure. And as the round goes on, we could see who has the advantage, youth vs experience. If Paul will not tire out he might surprised Silva. But for sure Anderson knows this so he has to preserved his strength and then go out full swing in the second half. So let's see which strategies are going to work here. But to be honest, as far as betting goes, I might skip this one.
3505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 10, 2022, 08:07:29 PM
^^ I really thought that this could be a big issue for the Warriors team.

But according to Moody, after the incidence, Jordan Poole continue with his own practice for 2 hours. So that is kind of mindset that the Warriors want to see from him and not going to the media and bad mouth Green. And Draymond already made a public apology so maybe the team itself is glad that something positive is already happening from the background and put their difference aside.

Yeah they are professionals making a ton of money so easy to go back to work.  But these things come out in wierd ways, not setting a pick as hard as you would have, make an open pass to that player when you should have.  Definitely must watch TV when they open the season against the lakers.

Just funny though that Ja Morant, the one that they face in the playoff and words between Ja have been thrown out, and now Ja make a tweet about the incident and telling the public that Green did it to move to the Lakers, hehehe. Green didn't respond but have issues his apologized to Jordan and his family and the whole Warriors team and organization. But for sure Green didn't forget that comment and once he got to play them, there will be some animosity as they have history already. There is no word from the Warriors about Green being suspended in his first game so let's see.
3506  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: October 09, 2022, 11:58:31 PM

So baka bate-bate na sila hehehehe.

Tingnan na lang natin kung ma trade is Green kasi part to ng core nila kasama si Steph and Klay Thompson so ibig sabihin buwag na ang dynasty nila pag ginawa nila ato.
3507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: October 09, 2022, 11:44:20 PM

However, I disagree that the delay is not about money, still it, they are trying to be Floyd, undefeated, but if this is not going to materialized, then they are robbing us fans.

Not only the fans but are robbing each other of the money, opportunity, and legacy, so many things are at stake here for both of their careers, we can move forward and check other great fights but for these two fighters they just robbed one another with what great boxers should have and they will go down in history as two boxers who are coward to take their career to another level, I think they both don't like the fight to push, afraid that their zero losses will go.

For me this fight is bound to happen, just like Floyd and Manny, but yeah, we could have our own speculation as who's side is bailing out on the scheduled for and going to wait till one of them are out of their prime or has been on a lot of war so they have been soften by other tough boxers.

So I would say that this year schedule of November or December is not happening.

But we should hope that by next year, they will have their own fight first and maybe after they win or lose talk again and see if the fight can be made by that time. But it's the question of if they are willing to stay for at least 2 fight in super welter? Because both are hinting to move up to 154 lbs and face the champion like Charlo.
3508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: REFLEX ACTION IN GAMBLING AND TIPS TO AVOID ITS PITFALLS. on: October 09, 2022, 11:14:53 PM
Or maybe if you are really into gambling and can't control yourself, this tips are not going to be effective, just saying. And so the gamblers in the beginning should understand the pitfalls and the actions that they will have to take course.

As for the addicted one, as I have said before, it's hard to get out and they really need the help they needed specially from their families. It's only them that can help themselves though, to admit it and then seek help and go into rehab.
3509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: October 09, 2022, 10:44:18 PM
This is not the result that we all wanting to see, but I guess Ancajas reign is over now. He is still young, but the competition is getting tougher in his division and Martinez is just one boxer that has caught up with him.

I do agree that he was unmask, his weaknesses as a boxer and it was exploited by Martinez and his team. And so as we argued, there should be no excuses this fight, Martinez took control of the fight and the judges saw the fight fair and scored it right. Not sure what Ancajas future will look like from here but let's just be supportive still of Filipino boxers.

3511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Support Casino Operated By The Bitcointalk Members on: October 09, 2022, 09:55:44 PM
I'm sure by now you have read about a casino review site where the admins are trusted members of Bitcointalk, which  I believe is good for the community because they have a good roadmap and we all know their capability as gambling reviewers
but what if reputable members here decided to put their own casino will you support them and will this become a conflict of interest if they are already or have promoted casinos in the present or in the past, what's your take on this?
Maybe in the future, we'll have one.

Where is the conflict then, obviously if you are not a gambling operator or partly own a crypto base casinos then you should stop promoting other casinos because that is not a good business model to begin with.

And with that, yes I will support that new casinos just like what I did with some of casinos that are popping up in the gambling board. I sort of like to test that casino first and see how it goes. If I like them then I will continue to play with them, simply as that. Hmm, it seems that you are aware that a member here is planning to have their own casinos? or this is what you are seeing in the future?
3512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 90% of bitcoin is owned by 2% of user base on: October 07, 2022, 11:59:18 PM
Price discovery is impossible with the whales controlling 90% of all bitcoins minted.

Proof or this is just fake news. We even don't know how much Satoshi holds.

The original intent of bitcoin as a neutral asset disappeared long ago.  Those at the top are trying to get more users in to keep it's price (and their investment) stabilized.

Depends, there are still user like me who treated bitcoin as as a payment system. Although I used 3rd party services, still though I used my bitcoin this way. Or course I will agree that it has evolved as well, but it doesn't mean that it will stabilized, bitcoin still and will be a volatile asset.

Bitcoin kind of reminds me of the push for solar energy to replace engines using fossil fuels.  Big marketing push by those who benefit from it's adoption even though it doesn't have the value advertised.

I disagree, bitcoin is not being advertised by anyone, not even Satoshi in the beginning or the early adopters.

Two 1.5 hour videos on the subject on streaming TV interviewing early adopters and investors who have made and lost money.

Too bad for, you lost 1.5 hours of your time watching those interviews when you can spend that in the forum and learn so much from the creator itself and maybe to some early adopters not willing to have interviews in TV.
3513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Le'Veon Bell vs Uriah Hall - October 29th on: October 07, 2022, 11:45:09 PM
I don't know about you guys but I'm loving seeing these ex-pro athletes starting to get in to boxing. I think it's really helped revitalize the sport in a big way.
I have no problem with people going into boxing wherever they came from. My only issue is they get paid because of their popularity and not really on their boxing skills. There are many up and coming professionals that should be given more opportunities in the ring but these "guests" gets the spotlight which is kinda unfair.

True, but as we have been saying, this is all business especially exhibition fights like this.

It open up a lot of opportunities for former sports athlete to fight in the ring and to earn money and paid by sponsors and fans a like. So it will go and continue as long as the paying public is willing. And then there is another factor, the gamblers, who as well willing to bet on this kind of fights. Pro gets their spotlight though, in a regular ring with an opponent, referee and judges and belt on the line. But not sure if they are getting more as compare to this exhibition fighters.
3514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Heavyweight Battle of Britain - FURY vs JOSHUA on: October 07, 2022, 11:30:03 PM
I don't know why I get my hopes up. It's the same old story with boxing. While I'm sure both camps will blame one, another. The fans will likely pick a side too, but honestly every big event is always the same. Plus, I'm of the belief that Joshua, and Fury have been avoiding each other for many years now. Not necessarily the fighters, but their promoters trying to get the cash cows going for as long as they can.

As a result if we ever do get this fight, it'll likely be when both fighters are out of their prime, which you could argue that both fighters have been showing signs of decline, especially Joshua. It'll be a joke when both of them go on to make fights with cans. I wish we could just boycott the sport until they start making the fights that the fans want, actually happen.

Yes, you are absolutely right. This has been like the cycle, the last superfight that we have seen Floyd vs Manny took years to made when one of them are in the decline and obviously, the fight is not what we have expected as it was a snoozer.

And this could be what is likely going to happen if ever this fight is going to be made in the future. And Joshua will bt the Pacquiao, damage good already, and then Fury is Floyd, 0 loses, and still very much in his prime years.
3515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: October 07, 2022, 11:08:07 PM
^^ Yes, Canelo has a good management team lead by Eddy Reynoso. So for sure he will look for the best interest of his client and see what the future will bring for him, whether to stay at 168 lbs or move up to 175 lbs and face Beterviev or Bivol or go to CW at 190 lbs and get his next belt. Or just be a free agent so that he can fight anyone and this is a good option but we will have to see. He has good relationship with Match Room so he could be open for another 2-3 fight with them.
3516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 07, 2022, 10:46:03 PM
Obviously, no need to contest that because Inoue is the heavy favorite to win, and the odds are based on the perception of the people which bookmakers do only make a few mistakes on that. Though surprises happened in the sports of boxing, it's highly unlikely that Butler will win.

Bet on Inoue via KO, this will not last long for sure.

Most of the fans and gamblers who backing Inoue will surely take that bet, instead of low odd, with the ML taking that kind of bet
is better, it's very possible that Inoue will put Butler down.

Maybe with the defensive skills of Butler he might extent his stay, but once Inoue already saw an opening, it will be difficult for
Butler to keep his defense and he will be forced to engage and make a counterattack.

We never know when upset may take place, but likewise, it's possible and it happens in every sport, especially in boxing.

Upset happens but I think it is very slim on this match.  Besides Inoue has a killer body blow which when landed on Butler's body might make Butler to depend on that area, which can open his upper part.  We know Butler doesn't have a sturdy chin, so there might be a possibility of Butler's getting caught on the chin while defending his body.  I just can't think of any possible way Butler can win this match so if ever He won, this would be the biggest upset in the history of the weight division.

I agree, Inoue's win is not yet guaranteed but we can assume that he is likely to become the winner in this fight and will become as the undisputed boxer in bantamweight division. I mean, it's really hard to think that Butler will defeat the Saitama of Japan dubbed as the monster because even the Filipino Flash didn't managed to upset Inoue. If Butler will choose to taste Inoue's punch in getting to a toe-to-toe fight, I believe that's the end of it, I don't doubt it.

There is no sure win but definitely the odds are in favor of Inoue and every stats points that Inoue is far more superior than Butler or even the rest of the bantamweight division

That's why even the Filipino Flash is no match, although it could be a very different with the brandish Casimero should be the boxer that Inoue will be facing right now. But in any case, if everything looks good, the contract has been sign and the venue in Japan is set, then I expect nothing but a spectacular knockout win coming from Inoue and solidify his top pound for pound ranking.

No doubt about that, Inoue have at least 90% chances of winning this fight and as I said above, it's really hard to think that Butler will be the one to score Inoue's first defeat, I really doubt that. Butler is a decent boxer but against Inoue? Almost all people already the know the likelihood of the outcome. Also, it's good for Inoue to finish this undisputed fight by a knockout or TKO before going up next in weight class.

That is true mate, he has face everyone in this division and won all the fight. And he is peaking at his age, just look at he knockout his opponent in the last 2 fight. As compare to Butler who needed 12 full rounds to score a win against a replacement fighter in Jonas Sultan. And if he will have to win by a big knockout, this is like sending a message to the next division and that he is coming hard for them, hehehe.
3517  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading bots on: October 07, 2022, 10:31:43 PM
they claim they buy btc from some exchanges at cheap and sell the BTC to other exchanges at higher rate, its got a certain terminology which i cant remember...
This is known as arbitrage trading, but I can bet my hand if they are doing anything like this.

do u think they are reputable ?
Nope, absolute scam. Don't even bother. There are far better reputable bots you can use, though you need some technical knowledge to make it work according to your trading strategy.

Yeah, I think arbitrage was a thing of the past, maybe if we are still in 2017, I would believed that they can make money out of this system. But it's very different now, exchanges are well aware of this kind of trading and so they are not giving any chance for some to trade this way. Besides, it should be very fast that only bots can do it.

And so I agree that this could be scam, but I will say that the OP should stir away from any bots if he don't know how to even have a knowledge of basic trade.
3518  Economy / Speculation / Re: Every signal is a speculation on: October 07, 2022, 10:16:40 PM
I have had experience dealing with crypto experts who provide signals with lots of indicators, strategies and analysis and i came to discover no one is a master of the market. Some analysis can go with the trend some against the trend, Some might profit on a long term, some on a short term while others only project loses.

I guess it's a hard lesson for everyone, specially for newbies are bought that idea that there are so called experts in this market who can predict the price movement with their technical analysis. Maybe they can hit it though, but most of the time, it's a miss, just saying

With the rate at which speculation of price keeps getting different views as the day goes by i think it will be wise if everyone who owns, buys, hodl and trade bitcoin learn about chart interpretations and fundamental analysis impact on Bitcoin. The fact here is volatility has come to stay and as such knowing how to go about your analysis should be a necessity for Bitcoin holders.

We are not totally against technical indicators because it can help us to some extend. But we should have our own interpretation and only we hold it. So if it fails then nobody will blame us, and at least we will learn from our mistakes.
3519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anderson Silva vs Jake paul who you bet on? on: October 07, 2022, 09:21:59 PM
This is how Jake Paul is hype about this fight, he is very positive that they can make at least 700,000 PPV buys.

Quote
“I do think this will be the biggest pay-per-view (of my career),” Paul told MMA Junkie. “I would say, yeah, I would be happy with anywhere from 300-500,000 (purchases), but I think it can get all the way up to 600 or 700,000, depending on how the fight week goes and the promotion and if ‘All Access’ performs well. I think this could be the biggest one for sure.”

https://www.boxingscene.com/jake-paul-optimistic-match-with-anderson-silva-fight-rack-up-700000-ppv-buys--169541

For the record, Canelo vs GGG was just a shade over 1 million buys.

So I don't know if this fight can go as high as 500,000 buys to be honest. And for me, it could top 200,000-300,000 even though his dance partner here is the legend of MMA.
3520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Haney vs Kambosos II (Undisputed) on: October 07, 2022, 08:55:52 PM

I think he is now ready to fight a real champion as he already have two tune up fights where he won. Though it's a real fight but we know his opponents are not on his level, his promoter has to give him a chance to fight a better challenge, those two names that are mentioned are sure a great challenge for him.
And if I remember it right, Garcia is really aiming for Davis. He keeps on sending an indirect message using his social media account, it will be decided once both fighters are inside the ring. I like to see if how Garcia will throw solid combinations in case he creates an opening. The kid has a killing KO punch, but on the other hand, we are talking about Davis here who also has that same or can say much upper level.

He really can't keep Davis name out of his mouth, he seems to have a attraction to him. Because everyone he is in the media, he keeps on mentioning Davis. But it's very far from making this fight as they are in a different promotions that are not that working or least very difficult to talk to another to both sides.

Not to go far with my speculation, Haney and Kambosos will be waiting for whoever wins this upcoming fight. He will be the one that will wait for any challenger that will ask for his belt.

While on the other hand, this is the true championship fight. Haney and Kambosos have held this belt already as compare to the two boxers. So still the real deal is Devin and George and to some extend, Loma because he will have the first crack of all the belts that he has once had.
