3501  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bull Market, Is it going to come soon or Will People have to Wait More.. on: October 14, 2022, 08:20:17 PM
I'd say with for the bitcoin halving first. And regardless if there is still the war in the background or we are in the recession, the halving will be the catalyst for the next bull run and then the eventual all time high.

So patience will be the key here, because as we all know, halving is still very far - 2024.

The market next year might be as worst as this year, and chances are we might see another lows that will really send panic and maybe see a lower low for this bear market. But rest assured that we can get over with that the following 2024.
3502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Haney vs Kambosos II (Undisputed) on: October 14, 2022, 07:50:37 PM
Kickoff week EP 1:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_m965T_hft4

Good to see that the Haney's are giving credit to the Victorian government to have this fight stage again in Australia.

And I would agree that Kambosos is quiet now, hehehe. I think he is just giving respect to Haney. Or he knows that his mind games is not going to work on him so he would rather do the opposite and not to trash talk him that much and just focus to redeem his name.

Quote
quiet as a church mouse

And for those sneaker heads out there, Haney is wearing TS reverse mocha, he knows the game. hehehe

Haney is better thankful and does not criticize the Australian government if he doesn't want it to pay the ring officials. Cheesy

George is better off not talking a lot of shit because he fucked up in that first fight. Talking again and losing badly again would only generate hate from his local fans who traveled for hours just to watch his fights and he already failed the first one by not letting his hands go.

There was noise though in the press conference. Haney's dad presented an Art Of War book as a gift but George just threw it away. Cheesy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4-4RaZLoQY

Seriously though I think George has a real chance of winning or at least make it close. But he really needs to let his hands go. His team kept telling him in the first fight to let his hands go and not just 1-2 but 3 to 5 combinations like what they trained to do.

I think basketball is the most popular sport for black Americans or it could be American football but most of them play basketball.

Lol, that's pysche war already, we all know what that book is all about hehehe.

Yes, I do agree, he didn't let his hands go in the first fight, however, it was due to Haney length and reach advantage that Kambosos has difficulty. And Haney's defense is truly amazing, good reflexes, duck when George is trying to be aggressive and then throw combinations in return. Might be close in the second fight, but in the end Haney will retain his belt.
3503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Double Unification Fights: Shields vs Marshall / Mayer vs Baumgardner on: October 14, 2022, 07:16:30 PM
I know you gotta like it, hehehe.

Yes, the trash talking though, I don't know, but if we see those ladies trash talking like that, it seems to be very different. You can sense the animosity between these women. They really don't like each other and it make this fight a must watch for us boxing fans.

For sure, I also wanted to see a vicious knock out in this 2 fights.
3504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 14, 2022, 06:44:16 PM
Agree with that, it seemed like the consequence is very light, it was a clear violence, he should be suspended at a very least. Well, that's how NBA works,  the system is not fair as it favors more to players whom they think is very valuable to a team.
It is. I thought they are clear about how strict they are with the rules, but it seems like they are short on this one case about Draymond Green.
Anyway, he will be back in the roster, and it was said in reports that him and Poole already talked. I wish there won't be another incident like this and Green have learned his lesson. There will be eyes everywhere and he should be careful about his sudden uncontrollable anger.

The Warriors can't afford to suspend Green especially now that there's not much time in his contract as they are not that sure if they will really give him his demands, we cannot deny that Green is one of the vital players of their roster and plays a huge part in their center's defense so it's somehow expected that they will just give him a light punishment because of that reason. But that said, they are also neglecting Poole's situation, they have already talked but I think Poole is not forgiving him because of that especially his family.

If there's no sincere forgiveness for each other, then that will create a chemistry problem. Warriors are great and one of the reasons is their good chemistry. Soon we will witness the regular season, so let's just see if the team was really affected with that incident.

I for one think that the drama is over, although it seems to be just a slap in the wrist for Green, however, Poole seems to be ok with it at least, that is the impression that I got.

And so we will see in the regular games, both of them players really knows what's in line as they are the defending champions and they for sure wanted to repeat. And they can't do that if they won't put their difference aside. Steve Kerr will have to be in the middle as well, in the huddle, in the locker room and for sure, he will get the respect.
3505  Economy / Gambling / Re: World Cup 2022: Betting on Futuur Just Got More Exciting! on: October 14, 2022, 06:23:27 PM
World Cup Qatar 2022 is almost here!  Futuur will offer markets on every game through the final, and lots more. Get in on the action & make your bet on the future of football! ⚽ #worldcup

I don't see any customer service on this website. This is quite difficult for me to ask a few things about this site. So I think it is necessary to have online customer service on this site, to make it easier for potential users or users to ask things that are considered important.

Maybe you can just throw your questions here if you have doubts?

As far as I know, futuur has been in this community for years now and I have tested their platform quite a few times already.

But let's see about the worldcup, to be honest, I'm not really into this sport, but if there are good betting options then I might try to test my luck or just wait for our tipsters here.
3506  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: October 14, 2022, 06:07:16 PM

3507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 13, 2022, 11:58:06 PM
What do you guys think about this video? Maybe I missed some recent news, but I just saw this video and was surprised that Westbrook looked like he was offended and was aloof from his teammates during the pregame huddle. At moments like this, the Lakers' chemistry seems pretty bad. Is there any news regarding the Lakers management's plans to trade Westbrook, or is Beverley just affecting him so badly?

Not sure what we can make up of that video, it can be interpreted in many ways and it seems that @Yogee pointed out a good source and summarized it.

In any case though, I think with this recent videos from training are popping around, maybe it's time that smart phones should be ban if someone wants to watch the training. I mean we don't know who is leaking this video, maybe part of the players entourage or someone close to the team. But this shouldn't be disclosed like the Jordan Poole and Draymond Green incident, and TMZ leaking it? I'm sure the person behind made a lot of money from it.

3509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metaverse is the future on: October 13, 2022, 11:16:05 PM
I guess if Metaverse can be useful, I mean Real-world economic value, like we crypto enthusiast can trade around it's governance, whether crypto, NFT and others and put it into blockchain then we might see the future looks bright for Metaverse.

But if it will be just exploited, and then the games become so boring that we will shift to other, and hence social opportunity will not be there. So we will see, it is still in a very young age and there could be a lot of developments in the future.
3510  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for October on: October 13, 2022, 10:56:27 PM
^  Ok...  So if it's going 'down and down' at what price do you think BTC will drop into?  Is 15k a possibility you think?  Looking at the chart right now, it feels like 17.5k - 18k is protected.  There are market forces out there not allowing BTC to drop down below it.  And it could be different groups doing it to protect their bags and their self interests.  I could imagine miners doing it, exchanges too.  Maybe even guys like Michael Saylor could be in the mix.  I'm not saying they're working together, just saying they're there.

If you ask me, I don't think that we can reach $17.5 or lower, or hit lower lows for this year. And yes $18k-$19k will be the price, it will trade sideways for me until we have a break out run to $22k-$25. But then again, since the market is very negative in the last 4 months we might still see this price at the end of the year. Saylor and other multi millionaire could be in the mix as well. But very careful on choosing when to enter and when to buy. I don't think that they are doing DCA, but probably buying in bulk when the price is around $18k.

But looking at the current price, it just bounces back to $19.4. Asian Market is open now so let's see how far they can push the price this Friday.
3511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 13, 2022, 10:41:47 PM
I read that June Mar Fajardo is injured and will miss a few games. Do you think he will be playing against the bay area dragons? I am anticipating that game and wanted to see how he will match up against the big men of the Dragons. It is bad timing that he got injured before that game.
SMB should be more prepared for this match up and I think they can't afford to lose Fajardo, they need his strength and height so let's see if JMF will really play or will have a rest for now. Bay Area is more eager to bounce back and win again, SMB should anticipate this and don't take anything for granted. I think it's not a serious injury, they can work with that or let's just see if SMB can really have a good game even without JMF.

If I'm SMB though, i will have to sit JunMar Fajardo on this game, yes he is playing good this year, but nevertheless, he is not getting any younger. So the best thing for him is to take a rest and observed that injury.

And again, I know that this is short cup, but they should look at the future and not risk playing JunMar to get just one win here.

As for Castro, yeah, it was a good offer and decision for him to stay with TNT and this could be his last stint and maybe retire his career with the team.
3512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 13, 2022, 10:24:36 PM
Why no one discussing (or havent made a topic) about Deontay Wilder vs Robert Helenius fight ? Only 3 days left. Is it because Tyson Fury has destroyed Wilder reputation after beating him twice, and people have completely forgot about this knockout artist ? There were so many knockout compilations on YouTube, and now, in two years, he is forgotten. Helenius is not a biggest boxing superstar, but 31-3 record should be taken into consideration. He is not a trashy punching bag?

Presumably everyone knows the outcome of this fight: Wilder's victory by knockout - is only a matter of which round. This is a practice fight and will only get attention if Wilder doesn't win it for some reason. In the same way, no one will pay much attention to any Fury fights ahead of those fights that everyone is waiting for - against Usyk or at least AJ.

They are heavyweights, one punch, one swing and you are done. Many did not expect that Tyson Fury would stand up after Wilder connected in 12th round in their first fight. As you have mentioned AJ and Usyk, many expected AJ to win, but he has lost, twice. Even Jake Paul is getting more attention than Wilder Cheesy I find it strange. We have seen how great fighters fall down, but people still watch and discuss their fights. We have somehow missed out Wilder completely.

I  try to look for Wilder's public workout and so far this is the latest that I have seen him,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qC5RGlArdyY

Just a short clip though, but he is going to the usual trainer and from my point of view, looks good and tone the usual against Helenius.

So we will see how Wilder, he still believes that he is one of the best and wanting to fight Usyk next.

3514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: October 13, 2022, 09:44:31 PM
........

Though for those long-term followers who invested with casino, tokens are still believing that in time they will harvest a decent amount of profits.

No timeframe but just staying on-hold and keep collecting the staking rewards while waiting for the actual value to increase.
Here, a lot depends on the general state and prospects for the development of the entire cryptocurrency market.
Of course, if BTC ever returns to the peak rate of $69K, then the rates of all tokens will certainly rise, and then such an investment can be considered successful.
Of course, there are difficulties in that the tokens can increase in price less than the growth of the bitcoin rate.  But all the same, there will be an increase in rates and investment can be considered successful.
But, of course, if the casino itself does not become bankrupt.  However, if there is an increase in the rates of cryptocurrencies, the likelihood of such bankruptcies is reduced.

Can be considered successful if the project still exist when the bull start to pump high, and basing from the past events those casino coins are still surviving and investors who bought during this bearish condition will expect decent profits once the market start to pump back, it's really a hard task since fears can't be remove each time we seen downfall. But for those who trusted and believing with those casino assets, they will just keep holding and wait till they reached the target selling point.
That reminds me of a project I was in and what you are saying happened by chance, the project began at a time when bitcoin was only worth about 6000-7000USD and the project had its currency very cheap and they gave some airdrops of great intensity, some came to have up to 2000 dollars in each Airdrop.

That was something incredible, unfortunately I came in late, but that was not all, it was when bitcoin reached 20 thousand dollars and the currency that at that time was less than 1 dollar arrived at 20 dollars, there were new millionaires, but the bad thing was that they didn't put the currency in a good exchange and they killed the project because everyone was disappointed and gave it a big dump.

Yeah, I think this is what killed most of the big gambling projects around that era and I would say I invest on some of them but I was able to get out and sold everything on time before fall.

I can't remember what exchange it though because it was like 2018, but I'm sure it's not Binance or any other top exchanges right now. And I agree that majority of them turn out to be just pure pump and dump, and I will say that others might turn out to be scam or their is no improvement on the project itself.
3515  Economy / Gambling / Re: How is the performance of gambling tokens compare to other altcoins and btc on: October 13, 2022, 09:27:57 PM
I haven't heard any gambling token that are very successful in the last 4 years. So the obvious answer is that they can't match the performance of bitcoin and any other altcoins.

My speculation is that gamblers simply doesn't want to complicate things in their investment or gambling. We don't like to buy this gambling tokens just because the platform that we are playing are backing it up. We just want to used the regular btc, usdt or ethereum and any other when depositing and withdrawing, simply as that.
3516  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you visit the casino while travelling? on: October 13, 2022, 08:57:27 PM
I will definitely love to travel and visit a new casino and this is my reasons.

1. For new experience, yes, I know that almost all casinos are the same, with same game etc. But the ambience and feel is very different

2. I have travelled already, so why not visit them?

3. Travelled and my intention is to go and visit them like in Macau or Vegas

I know that there is a boom of online casinos, but traditional base casino is very different for me, to be honest. I feel that I'm more lucky on land base.  Grin
3517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Split the prize or Reroll? on: October 13, 2022, 08:35:08 PM
If I'm in the position, then I will go for re-roll (which I voted). There is nothing like just a true winner without having to split the prize with someone and so I will go with it.

And although the majority responded with the split and not greedy, there is nothing wrong with it as well. But everyone has a different mindset and it just go happen that I will take that one risk to get home the price, just saying, hehehe.
3518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Altcoins? on: October 13, 2022, 08:12:37 PM
Yes, there are altcoins that can really give you huge profit in the next bull run. But the problem is that it's hard to find which one of them. And as others have said, the risk on altcoin investing is high as compare to bitcoin.

And that's why majority here put their money on the line for BTC and then diversify their portfolio with several altcoins, those solid and not shitcoin and meme coin. The question is, would you take that risk or would you rather play it safe but still get a good profit and steady profit and not complicate things in your end?

And for those who have been wanting a Davis vs Garcia fight, it seems the two have been teasing around their fans with cryptic message in their social media account.

But according to Garcia's manager, Oscar Dela Hoya

Quote
"It's being worked on. That's it. It's a big fight. It's a huge fight. Fights like this take forever," De La Hoya told BoxingScene.com and other reporters. "Do I feel it's going to get made? Yes - and I'm excited. But this is a huge fight with a lot of details."

https://www.boxingscene.com/de-la-hoya-on-ryan-garcia-vs-gervonta-davis-fights-like-this-take-forever--169652

So let's see how farther this negotiations and back and forth talks and hopefully we can see this fight one day.
