3521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope you guys won't fall for this BCH joke on: November 17, 2017, 04:09:04 AM
I got caught by the pump & dump, but fortunately got out without losing too much.

Many are also got trick by bch. One of my friends got by this like when he saw that bch is in uptrend he immediately bought some but unfortunately misses the peak like for hours it was a roller coaster ride and he loses 0.3 btc. He was so disappointed from it like he didn't expected that it will easily dumped after it was pumped hard. And he was a victim of hype and drama that manipulated by the Chinese and Jihan Wu and co. And bch now is in silent mode and I can say it was nice try for all of them for attempting bringing bitcoin down.

I was never sure of any other form of Bitcoin like that. I always hesitated and just believed in Bitcoin. Let not BCH, Altcoin or other cryptocurrency I'm also not sure. Especially with people who love to sell their coins just because some moments where the coin is down the price. Basically, the price of any cryptocurrency will go up, yes maybe not all but mostly like that. So it is very important for us to stay patient and keep the coin while waiting for the price to go up. And when the price has gone up and we have many benefits, then that's when we can sell. Never sell if we can not profit.

Therefore I just dare to save Bitcoin alone and never try another cryptocurrency. But Bitcoin also likes to experience the ups and downs of prices.
If you really believe that you need to study markets much more thoroughly. Most altcoins will die before the year 2020 and of those who live until that day most will die sometime between 2020 and 2030. Most coins are utter crap after all, with no value to drive their price.
The value decline might take place without much of an driving force to keep the circulation. I don't think more altcoins will die before 2020. That particular year is expected to make a lot changes to the cryptocurrency world and in reality what happens is completely based on the growth of bitcoin. As Op mentioned an year end price increase will take place, for which it's good to sell all the bch that users bought when the price pumped unexpected.
3522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The future of Ethereum (ETH) on: November 17, 2017, 02:19:11 AM
I'm looking forward for the bright future of ethereum, because if you review the history of ethereum in the market you can see that their price were almost in the same spot this year, maybe they were increase a little bit. But in summary it almost no movement, but still I believe to ethereum coin because I know that this coin had a high potential and being prospect to be next to bitcoin.
I believe the price pumping could happen by the beginning of the upcoming year start. This prediction is completely in comparison to the last year price pumping that happened by the year starting. Also after a pump, the price was quiet stable without big fluctuations, and same might have generated good forward momentum to push higher.
3523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum: Which is the Future Cryptocurrency on: November 16, 2017, 05:41:21 PM
Both were potential as well has good market capital. On the whole nothing can be termed to be the best or the future cryptocurrency. Even in the future more and more digital tokens exists upon the smart contract platform, but I don't find any reason with ETH to overcome bitcoin in any terms.
3524  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term argument for bitcoin on: November 16, 2017, 05:04:10 PM
Op needs to understand the difference that exist between bitcoin and the other altcoins. Growth similar to bitcoin takes place with lots of altcoins, but how long that lasts is the question. With bitcoin that is different, it has proved it to be potential and long lasting overcoming lots of hurdles.

3526  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where/how to buy BTC on: November 14, 2017, 05:44:36 PM
Buying bitcoin is no more an issue with the existence of more and more exchanges and other trading platforms. At the beginning people feel it difficult to buy bitcoin because of the fear on exchanges as well the process involved in making a purchase seems complicated. Now everything is very simple and takes place with legitimacy.
3527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will altcoins boom again? on: November 14, 2017, 04:55:43 PM
Is now the time to go all in on altcoins?

I think investors are now moving their funds to the altcoin and the altcoin market just have started to move towards the positive direction. we can see the altcoin boom again soon.
Yes, the altcoins have begun to move forward with most of the tokens indicated with a green mark. People who invested when the price fell low could have started to move it towards the exchange for trading purposes. This increasing the market Circulation has led to the price to move towards the positive side while bitcoin is not moving big but hovering around $6500.
3528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing on ICOS is good or bad ? on: November 14, 2017, 03:54:50 PM
ICO's were serving as an new platform in the crowd funding. This will surely make a big change in the entire cryptocurrency usage, because each vary with specific vision and road map scheduled in front. Also investing into ICO's during the early days of pre ico is much better as users will be provided with additional tokens for their investment.
3529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to convert ETH to BTC? on: November 14, 2017, 03:34:34 PM
If you find it difficult in using exchanges, then it's good to go with the blockchain.info where you have got the swap option as well simple ways of converting bitcoin to Eth and vice versa. Else the only possibility is the use of exchanges. Also each and every exchange has the trading pair btc/Eth, so converting won't be a difficult task.
3530  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin be bullish in 2018? on: November 14, 2017, 01:06:12 PM
I have a simple reason. I'm not that much into the technical growth. Look at the day of it being into usage as a storage token or some form of technology solution for world needs. By that time the usage was very low, but now what it has reached is big as well the implementation of technology into different areas keeps on increasing. This will surely lead to growth rather than fall.
3531  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin falling again on: November 13, 2017, 01:52:48 PM
From the views of the last few month the price of bitcoin falling is less chance. There are equal opportunity of the price of bitcoin is falling or  rising but there are maximum chance of the price of the bitcoin is increases is like 99% chance of increases . Now the time bitcoin become very popular in every country because it price is countinously increases since last few month. There are less than 1% chance of fall in the price of bitcoin it depend on the popularity of bitcoin.
I don’t agree with you that why I always said that check the price of bitcoin every day in order to you guys know the status of bitcoin today I check the price of bitcoin and its price is very high and as we know that bitcoin is one of the stable currency in market and day by day its going more powerful and strong so its out of question that bitcoin price is drop.
At what aspect the term stable is used, I'm not sure about it. In reality from the ongoing price dump and pumping shows that price of bitcoin has gained strength to stay above certain value however worse the market gets hit and in this manner it is stable. From every steep fall, it once again gains potential to grow bigger.
3532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who is buying up all the cheap alt coins now ? on: November 13, 2017, 12:33:46 PM
Hehe, this is the time that not noobs start buying alts like crazy  Roll Eyes so all old and experience people in crypto are buying now!!

People may or may not buy at this time considering the btc prices are set to rise and altcoin may again fall back. Thus it is imperative that if such rise continues in btc then altcoin may fall back again like last time. Thus a little cautious approach here will help you to think and invest wisely

Right now I believe more people could have bought cheap altcoins, because most of the coins decreased big in value. This can help get a big volume of altcoins holding. The price move is a cyclic process, the price might drop today, but once again grows. One should have the patience to hold and profit at the time of price pumping. The risk factor is that altcoins won't get regular price increase similar to bitcoin.
3533  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: November 13, 2017, 12:03:17 PM
It depends on the perspective of the person, Some people is treating bitcoin as a gambling because they never know how to earn profit. The mentality will be depending on the person, On how he/she will believe.
Yes, it's upon the users self thinking. In the early days when bitcoin was gaining popularity little by little it was much used for gambling and for illegal trades. Just on this information people thought bitcoin is gambling, also gambling websites were found much with bitcoin acceptance. So every bitcoin users at least once could have participated into gambling. This too might be the reason for the same.
3534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: November 13, 2017, 11:07:09 AM
Right now this hasn't got a wide spread, also it is highly an technology based innovation. Very few women were much focused towards the technology, whereas majority has their focus towards the fashion field. Maybe in future this trend will change when cryptocurrency occupy the fashion industry.
3535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: November 11, 2017, 03:54:40 PM
Survival of bitcoin is not at all a big thing to take into controversy. The growth of bitcoin is already recorded through different levels of price fluctuations. Very few has the trust on its growth, and the rest just intends to sell their holdings and think it's on the way towards crash. With bitcoin price fluctuations is common and the same can't be a crash or pave path to the fall.
3536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Peak and correction coming on: November 11, 2017, 12:28:23 PM
Unconfirmed transactions going up on BTC.
70K 12 hours ago, > 100K now.
This might be all because of the increased selling order of bitcoin based on the ongoing price drop. In my view I feel bitcoin correction happening in the large scale compared to the past time. Now the same has caused the switching from bitcoin towards bitcoin cash leading to a big growth in the market capital as well price of bitcoin cash.
3537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost 80% of my bitcoins in alts, What can I do now?! on: November 11, 2017, 11:37:31 AM
Hey there

In june & July I bought Digibyte & Stratis & Siacoin with all my bitcoins, till now I lost almost 80%

What can I do, HOLD or Sell or What!

Depends.  What alcoins were they?  A lot of people sold altcoins in hoping for additional bitcoin gold coins when the fork happens.  If they are reputable altcoins, hold them and they should go back up.

You do realize he actually mentioned the altcoins in his original post? "I bought Digibyte & Stratis & Siacoin with all my bitcoins"

Can you please read the thread before posting your garbage again? Thank you!

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

To the OP:

I recommend doing what your "heart" (emotional part of the brain) tells you to do!
I always do that and I have never lost in trading! (I haven't made tons of profit either, but that's another story Tongue)

Regards,
Trump
As in the above quote it's good to do upon your own minds thinking. Research about the market and then make a buying of particular altcoins. But losing 80% of bitcoin buying altcoins never happens with any of the user, until the user himself makes an mistake in predicting the market.
3538  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Reason to Hold Gold And Bitcoin on: November 11, 2017, 08:17:06 AM
Everyone is holding bitcoin and gold for profit because they are asset and can be used when ever you need them and also the price is increasing day by day. Main reason is the money.
currently Bitcoin is more popular than gold, it's just a matter of price.
and gold remains valuable. unfortunately gold is not suitable for long-term assets such as bitcoin. maybe gold just as a jewelry and a symbol of luxury.
Bitcoin is not popular than gold in any terms. Gold is completely valuable for its potential value that is found stable for a long as well for the universal acceptance. When it comes to bitcoin, we're very young compared to the history of gold, now people have two thing in mind. For secure holding and minimal profit gold is preferred, whereas bitcoin is preferred by the users who have the mind to risk as well expect profit.
3539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: November 11, 2017, 02:09:48 AM
what to do when the price goes down? which I usually do if the price is down, I will buy more, because this is an opportunity for me to get more buy coins when the price is very low.
because in the future later bitcoin prices will grow and can give me greater results, and will have many opportunities to get bigger profits.
The classic answer, not everyone has courage like you. A trader must analyze the market first to make a purchase.
The movement of BTC is usually opposite to the altcoin price, and now the opposite is happening. this makes traders very prestigious.
Whether it's bitcoin or altcoin, always one need to have an observation over the price moves. This is the only way to predict the growth of bitcoin in a right manner. At times unexpected drops similar to the present might happen. This can be overcome by the users by holding. With bitcoin price recovery is phenomenal.
3540  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulating Bitcoin on: November 10, 2017, 01:19:59 PM
I think it needs to be done to regulate Bitcoin because this currency is very freely used by many people for crime. But just for the use, but if regulating the Bitcoin price I refuse.

well regulations were needed just to filtered the launches of ico for it became too in demand that sone are launched just to scam people, regulation to minimize fees , but it might result also for additional taxes or worse banning when government didn't finds a way to benefit on it.
In terms of taxation the regulations might affect the cryptocurrency user community. But in terms of usage accessibility, the regulations will give users the freedom to use bitcoin and avoid the fear of governments interruptions. Another major flaw that happens is the control, somehow an central power tries to keep track of the user which is not good for the functioning of a decentralized asset.
