3521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: help sent usdt to smart contract instead of wallet on: October 24, 2021, 06:22:39 AM
so i sent some usdt to a smart contract address other then my wallet address is there anything i can do or just consider it gone?

How much did you send?. I don't think you can get that money back, it's gone forever. Take it as a lesson and forget it. always check carefully, make sure that the correct wallet address will be transferred before transferring tokens/usdt. You won't get a chance to get your money back when you press the "sent" button. I always check the wallet address 2 or 3 times before transferring, it may take a little longer but will make sure your money gets to the right place.
3522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with new meme coins on: October 23, 2021, 05:52:28 AM
Reflection, Burn and swap is very common in new meme coins nowadays, almost all new tokens are meme coin judging from new listed coins on coinmarketcap, I'm just trying to warn newbies who believed that they can still make insane profits from meme coins, I'm not saying it's impossible I'm just saying we have many fake meme coins out there now, they are just copying the likes of shiba inu and few others
Taking advantage of the market hype, a lot of fake projects have been created to scam new users. Not only meme coin, defi, nft fake projects are also created every day. Be careful with new projects, research and analysis before investing. Or we can ignore them instead focus on the top CMC coins, they still have the potential to generate big profits for you.
3523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ethereum price at the end of the October. on: October 23, 2021, 05:17:27 AM
If you buy ETH in a better position than it is now, you can take profits and wait for the market to correct you can buyback. And you are a holder and you don't depend on how much you have invested in ETH then you don't need to worry too much. If the market falls, then it will rise again, over time the price of ETH will increase and will create a new ATH. And don't forget one thing, ETH2.0 will soon be launched at the end of the year or early next year. that will probably be the launch pad for ETH to have a new ATH.
3524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will these coins survive 5 years? on: October 22, 2021, 09:45:39 PM
I have all of these coins:

ETH 40%
CARDANO 20%
POKALDOT 20%
TERRA LUNA 5%
THETA 15%
Avax: 10%
Are my coins going to last is it likely?
All is good. ETH, ADA, DOT has been around for many years in the market, I don't think it will die in the next 5 years, even beyond. For the last 3 names on your list, they are still very good and have potential at the moment, to predict for the next 5 years I'm a bit nervous because they're new so I can't say anything yet. If I were , I would sell them when I made profit and buy myself some BTC. You should consider BTC in your portfolio, it will become more perfect.
3525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion, NFT last long or not ? on: October 22, 2021, 03:04:39 AM
In my opinion, NFT is like other trends in the past like ICO, IEO...For now, the trend of the NFT remains, the hype surrounding the NFT is still strong as companies and artists start to pay attention to the market and enter. Over time, NFTs will be like ICOs, they will soon be superseded by new trends but they may not be gone forever, there will still be some good projects that they will continue to develop.
3526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you believe in market analysis published by crypto news websites? on: October 22, 2021, 02:48:41 AM
Everything is just information for our reference, we should not put our full trust in them. We should not completely trust anything we see in the market, always consider carefully. It's all just for the purpose of FOMO or prediction and it may or may not be true. The best way is that we should equip ourselves with skills and decide for ourselves. The money is ours and we should not give our money to others to use.
3527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How reasonable is the long-term investment in Altcoins? on: October 20, 2021, 09:36:09 PM
We all know that long term investment in Bitcoin is reasonable but how reasonable do you think long term investment in Altcoins is?
I think long-term investment in Altcoins is full of risks but short time investment is more profitable. Do you agree with me?
Investment, there are bound to be risks. In the long run, holding bitcoin is a great option and there are plenty of altcoins to invest in as well. ETH, BNB are proof. For those holding ETH from 2017 they are enjoying their fruits and so is BNB, so choose for yourself potential and famous coins instead of coins to hold.
3528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: October 20, 2021, 09:11:52 PM
The Crypto industry is like any other job, you want to make money first you have to spend time and effort to achieve the goal. Crypto are not a place to get rich overnight, try to find out on forums, social networks about crypto. Do your own research and analysis of coins before buying. I can only suggest you start with bitcoin or top coin on CMC, it can help you limit the risk. Don't invest in something you don't know, Please research before investing.
3529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen with eth 2.0. releasing? Lower fee? on: October 16, 2021, 09:58:51 PM
I don't believe in lower fees for ETH. The Berlin-upgrade was supposed to result in lower fees, but this has not happened. In fact, the upgrade is currently burning more ETH than new ones are being mined, so we have deflation at the moment. The price is positively supported by this, but the fees also cost significantly more when converted into fiat.
Don't get me wrong, I would like to see significantly lower fees, but I don't see it being realistic.
High transaction fees have always been a prominent issue for ethereum in the long run, the recent London update also failed to resolve the issue. Everyone is looking forward to the biggest ETH upgrade ever. If ETH doesn't improve gas fees, ETH will soon be defeated and replaced by another alt. Because ETH transaction fees are very high, I have switched to using BSC instead of ETH now. I hope ETH will fix the problem soon, ETH is still my favourite coin.
3530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a right time to buy some ethereum?. on: October 16, 2021, 09:42:07 PM
The ETH price has been very high compared to previous years, but the growth will continue into the future. ETH will not be pumped and dumped like shitcoins but investing in ETH is very safe and reduces the risk for investors. The upcoming ETH2.0 upgrade is an opportunity for ETH to hit a new ATH, so if I have the ability financially. Get yourself some ETH before the ETH2.0 event, I think it's good.
3531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Musk the boss behind SHIB? on: October 15, 2021, 09:24:18 PM

Is there an advantage in the future? I am optimistic that SHIB's performance is as good as DOGE  Smiley
Can someone explain, thank you Kiss
There's no advantage in the future. Shiba has better performance than doge coin. Doge coin needs to many years to enter into the top coins but shiba needs less than a year to make it happen. It's clear that if shiba may possible to have more advantages compared with the doge coins.
Doge has been around for many years in the market and already has a huge community that uses Doge. Shiba is just an anonymous token and became famous by the effect of Elon. In my opinion, only Doge will continue to exist and growing up, all remaining Meme coins will disappear over time.
3532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron network VS Binance Smart Chain on: October 15, 2021, 09:11:19 PM
Both are fast and the transaction gas fee is very cheap, but in comparison, the win is in favour of BSC. Tron is less attractive than BSC in defi and nft race, many projects have been successful on BSC. About Tron, actually I haven't heard of any defi or nft projects implemented on Tron. It really works on Tron and which one, can someone give me more info?.
3533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT is an interesting space on: October 15, 2021, 08:53:03 PM
I know the NFT hype is going day by day good but how can I get it a real project or not I don't know this question answer so I am waiting to invest in a good NFT project if I get it.
The hype on the NFT project will also dim over time, so you don't have to wait for that as long as you can still choose something else for your daily profit, which choice remains the best as long as market conditions are still like today.
NFT trend like ICO, IEO, MEME, it is only temporary hype and will fade with time. But now is still a good time for NFT hype. There are many NFT hype projects on the market, take advantage of the opportunity to earn more instead of waiting for it to go to waste. It's not bitcoin or ETH that we can invest in the long term.
3534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba is worth the risk on: October 14, 2021, 09:48:27 PM
The market is unpredictable, in the future Shiba will probably be like Doge or never will. But should not buy at the current because the price is quite high, we should wait for the market to correct and the price will be lower than we buy. Who knows, there will be surprises.
3535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm sure altcoins will pump if we hold long on: October 14, 2021, 09:33:17 PM
Not holding any altcoin makes a profit as you say, it depends on the altcoins you are holding. If you hold shitcoins for a long time and wait for them to be pumped it's just a waste. From the beginning of October until now, we have only seen bitcoin pumps and alt almost sideways. If bitcoin crashes then altcoins will make a new bottom, so you should make sure you are holding top altcoins on CMC.
3536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How good is solana? And can it run along Ethereum in long run? on: October 10, 2021, 04:55:23 PM
Solana is doing very well compared to the rest of the competitors. Sol overcomes the problems that ETH is having, but to become a real competitor of ETH, Solana still has a lot to prove itself. The last rally was just temporary hype, Sol is very young it needs more time to develop and perfect its ecosystem.
3537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PreSearch search engine|| A crypto friendly browser on: October 10, 2021, 04:19:24 PM
I know that you're a fan of presearch but you're over hyped about this by calling pre-search was better than any of those big search engine like google , etc. It's too early to call this as a solid one.
Pre-search needs to prove it.
I'm not any fan but yeah I liked the platform. I'm using the search engine since 2018. The team worked very hard to reach this position. I think, in the long future, they will see the success to come into the mainstream, and their earning options for users are also attractive Grin
I also heard about presearch in 2018, and I remember I also have presearch account but I didn't use it. This is a good idea, but to use it as a complete search engine alternative to Google or duckduckgo is not OK. It still can't compare with the big companies in the industry, hope the team continues to develop and the presearch is getting better and better.
3538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT a trustable? on: October 10, 2021, 03:57:27 PM
FUDs on USDT has been around for a long time and I can't remember how many times. USDT is considered the strongest stablecoin on the market and is supported by all exchanges. If USDT is a scam then the market will be severely affected. but I'm sure it won't happen.
3539  Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto? on: October 09, 2021, 10:24:14 PM
As of late, crypto has become extremely popular due to the negative effects of COVID-19 in the mainstream economy. People are starting to consider crypto to be a safe-haven against the traditional monetary system empowered by banks worldwide. Yet, the vast majority still relies on Fiat for day-to-day transactions because of its price stability and widespread acceptance in the mainstream world.

With the advent of privacy coins, people can enjoy true financial freedom like never before. Privacy coins can become attractive tools for illicit activities because of their untraceable blockchain ledger. Despite all of the benefits privacy coins provide, criminals still rely on Fiat for all of their nefarious actions. I'm starting to wonder why, since Fiat (physical cash) is not as anonymous as one thought it would be. Privacy coins are truly anonymous (especially those that are private by default like Monero and Grin), as there is no central authority behind them. Maybe criminals prefer Fiat because of its high level of adoption in the mainstream world? Or maybe because Fiat has an easier learning curve than crypto?

If by any means criminals start adopting crypto in mass (especially privacy coins), we could expect a full government crackdown on the entire industry. Which is why I think it's best for criminals to continue using Fiat for the sake of the crypto/Blockchain industry's growth worldwide. But we'll never know what will happen in the future. Thoughts? Huh
It's easier and more convenient to use fiat than you buy a coin then convert to fiat and now exchanges are mandating KYC for those who trade with a large volume of transactions every day or by means of fiat money. For P2P convenience, another big problem is that when converting to fiat money on the exchange, you have to KYC. In fact, using the internet nowadays is very easy to leave traces and locations I think criminals have the mindset that fiat money is more convenient than cryptocurrencies, which carries a higher risk for them.
3540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I transferred USDT from my wallet to USDT contract on: October 09, 2021, 05:28:44 AM
Sad for you, just forget this one and be careful the next time, if you already sent it to the contract then your funds are now gone as well as if you have sent it to the wrong address, always double-check before you confirm the transactions. I always do double-checking whenever I will confirm the transaction, check the first 4 characters and last 4 characters of the address, it will assure you that you have copied the right address.
I always use this method to verify before transferring my funds somewhere, check the first and last few characters to see if they match. And for a larger amount I will split it up, I'm going to do a little advance transfer so I can verify that I've done the right thing and the right wallet to move to. After the first transaction is successful I will continue to do the rest.
