3521  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do you get trading advice and tips from? on: July 27, 2021, 08:20:02 PM
Lately, I am not following anything related to predictions about possible price movements! Bitcoin, or any other coin/token... The first reason is that I don't have enough time for everything I want, the second reason is that I am a bit tired of reading the same things over and over again! With some coins, all you need to have is patience and reasonable thinking! The prices are making crazy swings, and if you are waiting for some "reasonable" top/bottom, you will see that, most likely! By that I mean if you are waiting to buy Bitcoin at $10k, it's a bit stretched, and for sure it's not something reasonable, but if you are waiting for $30k again, that will probably happen! It's the same with tops, and other coins/tokens... in my opinion, anything can happen, and I base my opinion on the past +5 years... in that time I saw many crazy swings, swings in the direction nobody expected to see!
So... don't be greedy! Be patient! Timing for buying/selling is everything!
3522  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easier to HODL if you are already rich? on: July 27, 2021, 11:38:19 AM
A financially stable person has almost zero worries. They can invest their money with little to no risk into things that will eventually generate profit. As compared to a person living paycheck after check, 1 loss in investment will lead to a sufferable amount of consequences such as no payment of utility bills, no food, etc.

It is much easier to invest if you have a pile of money.  Wink

Nice point! People who live from day to day can't allow themselves to hold anything valuable... simply, you need to eat every day, you have to pay bills every week/month... and when you are always short on money how can you think about putting something on a side?

So rich people, who are financially stable, don't worry about basic needs, and they can afford to put some money in this and that, and simply to wait for the future to come. Like always, a nice bankroll is an advantage! That was like that before, and will be like that in the future!

Perhaps they are busy maintaining the site, therefore I got lots of maintenance notifications these days haha
...

It has been an ordinary sight there, lol. Just close the chat room once you start gambling
...
Without extra paid I doubt they are willing to do it on regular basis (if those new community managers are from outside the forum). The best scenario they just giving updates in the early months after the acceptance

I keep chat closed most of the time, but when I open it, in 5-10 minutes I see many "please tip me" lines!
Updating and moderating this thread shouldn't be some big problem I guess... it doesn't require a lot of time and energy!

...

I think it has already been improved a little bit as you now need to wager a certain amount before you can chat, but there are still some beggars; but you can also find these on the other sites.

I know Baby, it's improved, but it's far from clean... and it's the same in some other casino char rooms! Well, I would be very strict about this matter! I believe the same people are doing this in different casinos...
3524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: July 26, 2021, 08:22:59 PM
With the existence of internet and it's more progressive services, this online gambling also enjoying the benefits. It's an easy access between gamblers and the house, simply choose the gambling site and deposit fund.

If you are doubting the site or having problem transacting, google is your friend to read and understand how to facilitate, everything
is easy as long as you know how to read and follow instructions.

I agree that online gambling is easy to understand! Even without the help of Google! Simply follow instructions, and I would add "ask support" if you don't understand something, they will clear everything for you!
Online gambling is getting more popular, but it's not like land-based casinos are losing customers. Simply there are too many people in this world, and the number is rising! So I guess it would be fair to say that online and land-based casinos will have enough clients in the future! And I believe there are people who love both variants!
3525  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: July 26, 2021, 06:39:35 PM
Bcgame currently looking for community managers for the following countries: India, Phillippine, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
...

BC.game profile is not active since May 13, 2021! So people from here don't know about this! So this is a nice share, maybe someone from here will be interested and apply...

I guess BC.games needs more managers for their man chat... so much begging there! I am not sure what's happening in these specific chat rooms (India, Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam), but I can bet it's a real mess there too! And it would be nice if some of those managers pay more attention to this thread, it wouldn't hurt!
3526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ethics of boxing and gambling on: July 26, 2021, 02:56:25 PM
I believe under certain conditions boxing (or any other fighting sport) is ethical! Nobody likes to see big guy beating little guy, so there are different ranks heavyweight, lightweight, etc...
Some people really like to test strength and endurance... we can think of it from different perspectives, is it ethical, normal, crazy... but these guys like that, and who are we to tell them that's not ethical or legal, or I don't know what... we can only get beaten up! So we should better let them fight in the ring, and enjoy watching and sometimes betting on them!
3527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Weekly/monthly financial statements, which do you prefer? on: July 26, 2021, 11:02:36 AM
When you spend money constantly in bits, it is normal that you may not be able to keep track of the amount you have spent on something say gambling or alcohol. If a financial record or something like a register is shown to you having the total amount you've spent on a habit, you may be surprised the total amount you see.

As a way to keep track, would you like to receive regular, maybe weekly or monthly financial statements highlighting wins and losses from a gambling site?

Can you share your thoughts please?

That would be really interesting but I think no gambling site would collaborative to give this statement to gamblers. The reason is that if for example a gambler who loses a lot of money see such register every week and he see his big lost amounts this can be a boomerang for the casino as the gambler may start to reflect and stop gambling immediately.Again this is a very good idea to see our weekly or monthly statistics but I am afraid no casino is willing to implement this.

Wolf has a "stats page"... you can check at any moment how much you won/lost! Of course, it's not on a weekly/monthly basis, it's from the moment you registered! Some casinos have that, some don't...

Generally, I don't like to watch my gambling stats! I gamble to enjoy, and I win and lose all the time... I play different games, on different sites, so I guess keeping some track of all that would be a really big pain in the ass! And as I said, I like to enjoy in what I do, not to spend time on doing calculations and keeping records!

3529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: July 25, 2021, 08:13:11 AM
Luck is the utmost force in gambling than fate which has great effects in determining the result of a dice when gambling. Luck coupled with self control can really increase the possibility of one having winning a bet rather than just depending on work input. Winning a bet could come as a force in form of luck increase the ways in which a gambler wins a bet without much efforts which comes in a simple or effortless manner.
You cannot determine results based on your luck. It comes at the end and even if you're very lucky, you'll only know that you are lucky at the end of your bets.
The effect of any of them can be said that it's about your luck or you're actually destined to win. Well, with such long explanations, it's really a long discussion about whether you are lucky or it's your fate when you win or lose as you lose control too.

Luck is the product of trying... and trying... only if you are trying you can get lucky! If you just sit and wait to get lucky, most likely you will not get anything, except the pain in your back from too much sitting!
I guess some people are luckier than others, after all, we are gambling and we never know what will happen in the end, but for sure we all hope that it's our time to win whenever we gamble! Probably that hope and desire to win push us to bet more and higher, and that affects our self-control! It's why we need some limits, to not spend more than we can afford to lose at the moment!
3530  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 3 BTC Lottery ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC on: July 25, 2021, 06:27:32 AM

We recommend reading T&C before getting started at any betting site, every possible risk are placed here. If these T&C are not the something you want to be part of - you can always check reviews, or simply move on.

Exactly. Your T&Cs are basically a copy-paste of those at 1xBET except for one thing: there, at least, we know who is behind the term "company".

Great Find mate and obviously as what all suspect this is the same company with the famous scammer 1xbet in which very popular in advertising in  social media sites.

and also one thing that i notice , the claim from Victims suddenly stopped after they launched their HONEST review campaign and their Signature campaign .

Does the scamming really stopped now? or they are trying to clean up their name for a while so victimizing paused for some time because they are really in hotseat now?  and eventually will return when the confrontation subside?

Interesting questions Chato1977! I must say I didn't notice any new accusation... but still, there're old accusations, from some reputable members of this forum! I don't believe that people from here will let it go just like that... An honest review and signature campaign (with mostly red-flagged members) will not help a lot with that! So does the scamming really stopped or it's just on pause, we will see.

Well, too bad you didn't see this thread on time, maybe that would save you from playing with big money in a shady place! At least when it comes to poker they are shady, with not so good interface, in my opinion!

Will you contact them again? I would probably give up after this mail...

3532  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥BETFURY OLYMPIC GAMES for $150 000🔥 NFT Battles |⚡️Free BTC+BNB| on: July 24, 2021, 07:18:43 PM

It looks like Betfury has already integrated several top slots providers on their site in the second quarter of this year. At least this item is marked as completed in their roadmap. I don't know for sure, but maybe they are planning to integrate a few more providers during the following months.

The only top providers currently available on Betfury are Yggdrasil, Thunderkick and Pragmatic. These were added added Q2 this year, so it has improved but as the other have mentioned no games yet available from Betsoft, Red Tiger gaming, Nolimit, Playngo, ... So for the moment there are better sites if you are a slot lover.

We all wait for those providers... I would add Relax and NetEnt on that waiting list as well! Probably the best providers at the moment, with so many good slot games! I hope that Betfury is working on that, it would be sad for us slot lovers if they don't add the most popular providers! So I guess Babygus is right, for people who like to play slots there are better places with more providers!

3533  Economy / Economics / Re: What event could trigger new bull run and ATHs? on: July 24, 2021, 03:53:25 PM
All we need is just some news from authoritative people and big companies or funds that they are going to invest in Bitcoin. This way, the price will increase because of the big money of whales and because people will buy it, seeing the green market then.
Another thing that can green up our market  is making work with crypto more comfortable and understandable so that all people can work with them.

It's happening, new people are getting in, new companies... countries are creating regulations, Bitocin is getting more popular definitely! What will trigger a new bull run is hard to say, I think too many things are going on, and definitely big things are coming, from which side, we will see! I
I am positive about the future of Bitcoin, maybe more than ever before! Many positive things are happening around, many experts are thinking that we are at the bottom, so this new bottom is higher, and it will be a great ground for all future uptrends!
3534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The houses always win, are you the house or the gambler? on: July 24, 2021, 01:17:58 PM
The house is not going to be in loss even though if they have paid a millions dollars for the jackpot that is what the actual meaning of  "House always wins", its happening because the house has more probability to win the game so if 10 people are playing then 9 is going to lose and only 1 is going to win and he may take money from 5 others so hous is still going to make that money from 4 with no risk.

We can't say that every "house" has a million-dollar jackpot, and I guess we can say that once in million times (more or less) there are situations when 9 out of 10 people wins... It's why casinos with a profit-sharing feature are interesting, we can see their stats... so it's not like that house always win, there are situations when they are negative! House has an advantage, but we can't say that house is invincible, it's gambling for us and them, the risk exists for all involved parties!

You can't just be biased about who wins between the gambling house and the gambler. I would agree that high risk takers goes the extra mile in most cases in order to get a high reward ratio. But we still have deciplined gamblers who just gamble for the fun of it. We might feel we're generating income for the house but on the other hand the gambler might have made profit worth many times bigger than his/her total stakes.

I agree! In the end, it's different for all... we have different bankrolls, different game styles, so we have different results in the end! I can put myself in that "disciplined gamblers group", we gamble for the fun of it... and while we lose here and there, sometimes we can have nice wins that put us on the positive side!

The houses always win, are you the house or the gambler?

Remember only idiot take high risk to get high reward. The houses do not take risk but telling all of you to take high risk. Whether it’s bear market or bull market, the houses always win.
-snip-
So anyone that would like to take high risks according to you are idiots? Of course the house won't be taking risks. They are not a charity organization. They are here not to give you free money. They are here to make profit (talking about casino, not the other random weird stuffs that you also included). You take risk to make quick profit. This is how it all works. Take high risk, get high reward. Take low risk, enjoy less profit. You can't call someone that is willing to take high risk an idiot.

I guess OP doesn't understand what gambling really is... and I agree with you, it's not on him to judge others and to call people idiots just because they want to take the higher risk to get some higher reward! It's on us to choose the level of risk, and to be ready for any outcome! I don't like people who decide to take the risk and later they cry about it!

I've also considered buying more tokens to upgrade my level. Getting the 5k prizes has not been a problem, I sometimes get more than what is expected according to probability. The reason I haven't upgraded is because I worry the price of FUN will keep going down making it unprofitable to cash out if I need to sell them for BTC.

You are lucky if you often win 5k prize!

I forgot to mention the price. You are totally right about that part . It's 46 sats for some time, but who knows what can happen in the future, in a case it dips, buying now would be a bad move. I didn't bother to learn more about Fun token, and I am not sure what we can expect from Fun token in terms of price. I bought it for spins on the site, but I guess I will have to check more about it.
What you think about the Fun token price in the future?

Buying feature is a quick way to go bust (or profit), but because of its nature, some country (such as UK) banned feature buy. Be careful mate!
I hope you can recover soon.
Yeah. I've been hearing that for a long time, the UKGC has warned to remove the "Buy Bonus" option to service providers. However, not all sites are affected by such regulations, We don't know what the future will be like, just enjoy the moment Grin

Gambling Commission UK

All six operators contacted regarding use of the ‘feature buy in’ element have now removed it from their sites.

Unfortunately, back in 2019, the UK gambling regulation body, the Gambling Commission, issued a notice for all UK gambling firms to remove online slots that offer the Bonus Buy feature. However, Bonus Buy is not at all finished and might still have a future.

Buying bonuses will not be available for gamblers from Germany as well... They have some new set of laws from recently.
I like to buy bonuses from time to time, it's risky and I had some pretty big loses, like from 10 bonus buys all are under x30, some under x10... But I also had big wins few times. It's risky, but after all, playing slots is risky... Yesterday I played +350 rolls before I got bonus round, and bonus round win was x7! Sometimes I am thinking is it better to spin and spin before I get a bonus, or simply to buy bonus round and wait for some luck to hit me.
3537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should online gambling companies be responsible for harm related activities? on: July 23, 2021, 04:39:58 PM
Take responsibility for your actions! You can't blame others every time something bad happens to you! Nothing can harm you except yourself!
If someone is not aware of what gambling is, and about the things that go wrong in gambling, it's not an excuse! Inform yourself better about the things you are planning to do! Simply, when playing with fire there's always a risk of burning yourself, and in case you get burned you can't blame the fire cause it's hot!
3538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The houses always win, are you the house or the gambler? on: July 23, 2021, 02:29:42 PM
For now probably I'm one of the gambler, we can't take away the fact that there's always above us all in every way, work, crypto, trading and many more. There's always above us but then we may not know for sure but maybe soon enough we will be one of the house in our own way.

I am a gambler, for sure! I agree that there's someone above in every way, it's easier for big fish to eat small ones, but it's not like we have to quit growing because of that! It's a game, and we need to try to learn how to survive and grow over time, and is there a better way from learning and growing than trying to fight big players?

I believe in exceptions! That said, nobody wins/loses all the time... chances can be high or low, but in the end, if we don't try it we will never know!

Obviously there is also a chance that it already happened and we just don't know about it, after all not everyone will notify it and maybe wants to keep it secret
I agree with you that a winner is likely to keep it a secret, but it seems to me that the main prize of WoF is still unattainable. However, it would be great if freebitcoin wrote a message here to confirm or deny this. I mean, it could be a simple answer in a yes or no format.

The main prize the Rolex is very difficult to get.We should be happy that 5000 sats, tickets and reward points fall let's say somewhat often on the reels.Other than that I have not seen anyone claiming to have win the Iphone 12 Pro Max or even an Amazon Gift card for that matter, this shows these prizes are really difficult to get but if we manage to get up to 16 Wof in a day then chances for us will be somewhat higher to get any of these prizes at least once.
Also the funds needed to be able to get 16 WoF are quite significant around 0.23 BTC at the current FUN price and have to pass a period of 360 days or about 1 year of ownership to be able to get 16 WoF.
It's interesting to see if there will be members in this forum who will post they get rolex or other prizes besides RP, Satoshi and lottery tickets

I have 6 WoF spins every day, I need 5k more to have 8 WoF spins, and sometimes I am thinking to deposit and buy them... but I am constantly winning 50 sats/RP/lottery tickets, so I am not sure about that... I didn't have the luck to hit that 5k sats, so how far from that is Rolex?! Smiley
It's interesting to have these spins, if we don't try it we don't have chances to win! I hope someone from here will hit that Rolex, that would be awesome!

3540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin comes first and blockchain comes later on: July 23, 2021, 10:47:19 AM
What I want to express here is that when Satoshi Nakamoto created the Bitcoin network, there was no concept of blockchain. What he built is the operating network of Bitcoin and called it "A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System." So Bitcoin itself belongs to a system. Three or five years after the birth of Bitcoin, technical personnel in the existing society discovered the power and indestructibility of the Bitcoin network. Countless hackers have tried to steal Bitcoin to no avail. The underlying technology of Bitcoin has been verified. Later, on the technology of the underlying technology of Bitcoin, the scientific and technical personnel summarized a brand new technology, named it the blockchain, and then step by step we have the now prosperous crypto world.

Quote
1991-2008: Early Years of Blockchain Technology:
How did blockchain emerge? Stuart Haber and W. Scott Stornetta envisioned what many people have come to know as blockchain, in 1991. Their first work involved working on a cryptographically secured chain of blocks whereby no one could tamper with timestamps of documents.
Source: https://101blockchains.com/history-of-blockchain-timeline/

As you can see, there was a concept of blockchain before Bitcoin... You can also read that:
Quote
Nakamoto conceptualized the first blockchain in 2008 from where the technology has evolved and found its way into many applications beyond cryptocurrencies.

Nice article, you can read about the evolution of Blockchain too:

1. Evolution of Blockchain: Phase 1- Transactions 2008-2013: Blockchain 1.0: Bitcoin Emergence
2. Evolution of Blockchain: Phase 2- Contracts 2013-2015: Blockchain 2.0: Ethereum Development
3. Evolution of Blockchain: Phase 3- Applications2018: Blockchain 3.0: the Future

Do you still think that Bitcoin was before Blockchain? Or maybe you think this article is misleading?
