3522  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer: Dank on: October 10, 2012, 01:38:20 PM
Scammer tags for everyone, just for the fun of it.

Yeey!

(Come on, this whole thread is just silly from the beginning)
3523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we get the women on board? on: October 10, 2012, 01:24:41 PM
Did anyone suggest guysgonebitcoin yet?  I'm sure the ladies would love to pay to see the users on this forum in the buff.

So, I think we have totally different expectations what the average forum user looks like.
3524  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer: Dank on: October 10, 2012, 09:20:53 AM
Sigh, that's not what I tried to imply.

What you and dank made here is a  Gentlemen's agreement and just netiquette requires you to honor it.

Not honoring this agreement is bad behavior, but nobody deserves a scammer tag because of this.

A Scammer tags purpose is to quickly show people which users have on purpose caused financial damage to others, so they can stay away from them.

Using this tag for that, would make the tag useless for its purpose.
3525  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer: Dank on: October 10, 2012, 09:04:39 AM
Rarity, really?

This is so ridiculous, I don't even know what to say.

This makes me think, that it's maybe really a good Idea, that everyone starts with a scammer tag until proven otherwise. And just gets a "not a scammer" tag.

Whats next?

Now, you agreed to post only once as soon as dank delivers the song.

He has not delivered yet, so you don't have to do your part.

And by the way, by taking this THAT serious, you agree that you get a scammer tag if you post in one of Danks threads more than once in 24 Hours? As soon he has delivered of course.

Come on.
3526  Economy / Lending / Re: 200BTC loan to smart1985(Mybitcointrade) on: October 10, 2012, 08:53:03 AM
@ Akka you mean Crazy , because the Smart1985 account was sold on July and this offer is from August ... right ?

@ Hydrogen I want this Documents plz too

So that would be a double scam:

If Crazy lended bitcoins by using the identity of smart and not paying back.

Or did softwareseller know, that he was not dealing with smart?
3527  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ** STEAM GAMES FOR BITCOIN ** huge list, prices lower than retail ** BL2 HERE! on: October 09, 2012, 08:41:47 PM
Thank you very much.

Bitmit then.
3528  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much do you think a BTC can be worth in the future? on: October 09, 2012, 08:13:53 PM
i would say there are two possibilities. either bitcoins are worth a few hundred dollars in less then 5 years or they'll vanish within the same time

BTC can still languish a round for a couple of more years.

But basically, yes. I think the next four to five years are critical.

Either BTC will make it by then, or disappear into meaninglessness (yes, that's a word)
3529  Economy / Securities / Re: GLBSE is offline We will update our users on Saturday. on: October 09, 2012, 08:07:43 PM
Has anyone received any payouts jet?

Or at least any payout informations?

I suspect no, but just maybe I missed something.

(Even if free BTC are only a fraction of what I have in there)
3530  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ** STEAM GAMES FOR BITCOIN ** huge list, prices lower than retail ** BL2 HERE! on: October 09, 2012, 07:54:37 PM
Hi Steamgames,

the prepurchase of "Of Orcs and Men" has currently a special.

Can you get it?
3531  Economy / Lending / Re: 200BTC loan to smart1985(Mybitcointrade) on: October 09, 2012, 07:38:47 PM
softwareseller, have you made the loan with smart1985, or with mybitcointrade?

Because smart sold mybitcointrade some time ago (without letting anyone know), including his bitcointalk account.

He is still on the forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=61639

From his own post, he is the same guy.
3532  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer tag question on: October 09, 2012, 06:15:53 PM
That's why I propose to rename "Hero" to "Legendary".

No! Legendary Scammer sounds like a title one might want to have.
3533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft registers bitcoin URI scheme on: October 09, 2012, 05:14:32 PM
Also, what does "dereference" mean in this context, and why is it very dangerous?

I believe "dereference" means to follow the link. It would be dangerous because in theory (depending on what software you have installed) calling on the operating system / browser to open the URI may cause money to get sent from your wallet.

This works now if you have MultiBit or Armory.  It does not send funds from your wallet.  What it does is precompose a Send Bitcoins transaction with the amount and address from the link.  the buyer still has to press the SEND button. It is similar to a mailto: link on a webpage which precomposes an email using your registered email client.

I made 2 videos of this working, one with Multibit, the other with BitcoinSpinner on Android.

https://bitpay.com/faq  (watch the "Pay from Computer" video)

also, this one, which will be updated on that webpage soon.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49GY0UsfJ7s

The wallet software can register the URL protocol without any involvement from Microsoft.

If you'd like a few test links of the bitcoin: URI, look here:

http://lovebitcoins.org/developers.html

BitPay fully supports the bitcoin: URI protocol on our invoice pages.

Wow, this is awesome. That is exactly what is needed to get Bitcoin wider adopted.

Sorry, but the direct handling of the addresses is something that scares away "average Joe" users.

If you could use BTC without ever seeing the addresses just by applications like this. A giant new marked opens.
3534  Local / Biete / Re: UPDATE# 11 - Bitcoin Börse, Überarbeitet ! Dividenden Ausschüttung 75 BTC on: October 09, 2012, 04:35:53 PM

3535  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Pyramining, is it really worth it? on: October 09, 2012, 03:27:40 PM
Pyramining - Is it really worth it?

Can it generate mass ROI?

Any success stories?

Can pyramining make you money?

It's a Ponzi.

The hardware is really there:
https://www.bitcoin-italia.org/forum/Thread-Immagini-della-centrale-di-un-famoso-minatore-italiano

and pyramining is indeed mining and paying so far. From all the investment out there I would consider this the most unlikely to be a ponzi.

Also before the point it really paid out more than it collected you can't know for sure.

And right now, nothing would really surprise me.
3536  Local / Biete / Re: UPDATE# 11 - Bitcoin Börse, Überarbeitet ! Dividenden Ausschüttung 75 BTC on: October 09, 2012, 03:10:39 PM

3537  Other / Off-topic / Re: My mistake this is Luke Jr. on: October 09, 2012, 08:41:59 AM
No idea what this is about, but this is just vulgar and cheap.

Another twelve year old playing with magic internet money?

Can we finally create a Kindergarten subsection?
3538  Other / Off-topic / Re: It's so relaxing on: October 08, 2012, 08:33:42 PM
I most confess I have spend to much time looking at this, too

http://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

^that's even better, because you get a nice *bip*-sound for every new transaction.

And watching the little flags pop up, I love it.
3539  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: http://www.pyramining.com/ - Mining Company - Discussion only NO Refeals on: October 08, 2012, 08:28:39 PM
Pyramining,

can you please rename the thread to something like "http://www.pyramining.com/ - Mining Company - discussion thead" ?

Just edit the subject in your first post, maybe that makes it clear for everyone.

Thanks.

I click on this thread everytime it pops up in my watchlist, only to find reveals and that is annoying.
