Trust. No. One.[sic]
Trust me
-snip-

The irony, but you are right, allways be carefull, use escrow when its not only a few bugs you would also gamble away.

As long as its not John K's escrow. Why is he still on the trusted list?

I trust thermos is also still on the trusted list, so, yeah, trust no one.

Well isn't he the only one who can add or remove people from the list?

You can set your own trust list. You don't need to use defaulttrust.

i think ripple might interest some of you, it's more than just a 'coin', it's a complete payment system with an exchange built in.  you can trade both fiat currency and cryptos in ripple.

anyway, to learn more about it, read here:  http://coinjoint.info/ripple-might-want-pay-attention/ and there are intros and guides here:  https://xrptalk.org/forum/61-faq-and-guides/

ethereum is really cool too Smiley

Is it safe to enter the PIN on my computer and not on the TREZOR itself?

TREZOR doesn't have a keyboard but even if you enter the PIN on the computer directly, you're perfectly safe. TREZOR's PIN mechanism is protected against keyloggers, so using it even in internet cafes means no risk fo you.

From: http://www.bitcointrezor.com/faq/

How does the "PIN mechanism" protect against keyloggers? I'm really curious.

3536  Economy / Services / Re: Business for sale! on: April 02, 2014, 09:29:06 AM
Attention everyone!

The post is a scam and all replies in it under FairProof are fake. Whoever posted all of the above had used my password and seems to know a bit too much about my business affairs.

Busy with my advertizing project, I paid no attention to what’s been happening in this post. A total surprise, imagine someone trying to sell your business without your consent, the scammer even replied to a few PMs.

I am always careful with my passwords and it beats me how it all worked out. I really hate to think the forum admins are involved. It is also possible that someone’s been reading my emails and IMs.

The weird part is that I do intend to sell my business, had been negotiating for a while and reached an agreement a few days ago. To tell you more, I even got paid part of the price in advance. Now I am going to have to explain all this nonsense to my partner.

I have changed all my passwords and am taking all possible steps to repair the damage. No idea what’s been going on here, it really made me feel paranoid.

All I can think of is a competitor trying to discredit the FairProof lottery. Since the site is really well protected, (we did use some serious security algorithms there) they decided to take an easy route and post this fake bullshit here.

this is pretty funny.
