3521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we expect "average Joe" to remember passphrases to his Bitcoins? on: May 05, 2017, 01:41:35 AM
Prevention ie better than cure. You dont have to necessarily have to rember it you could copy and paste into a textfile and keep it hidden or encrypt it using some zip file softwares
Just emembering passphrases is very bad especially when their 25-60 characters long, it's bad for you cause you might forget it that is why you should have some back up solutions.
3522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on with BTC transaction times?? on: May 04, 2017, 04:29:00 AM
Looks like you have send you BTC at the right time when there were just few unconfirmed transaction and bitcoin network wasn't that busy.
Im guessing those days we're weekends of holidays or i guess those horror stories were just meant to scare as of, basically a hoax.
3523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 04, 2017, 04:11:45 AM
It depends upon you if you have some skills to offer, you could provide those services to your clients and get paid via bitcoin
Before leaving your job do some research or preparation first. You could try to learn trading or joining some sig campaign to know where you can earn better or you could do both.
Once you have an stable income and earning a good amount of money, you're ready to leave your job.
3524  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin break the history. on: May 04, 2017, 04:00:00 AM
I think in year 2016 it was around $700-$800.
As long as the users maintain their trust to this digital currency in many coming years especially those who invested big amounts of money the price will surely reach what we hope for, it might happen sooner if we could just figure out how to solve the bitcoin scaling.
3525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: May 04, 2017, 03:47:16 AM
Because it has a great price value in the market and most of all it is not an centralized currency like dollars that is controlled by a corrupted goverment and that is controlled by bankers.
You can send and receive without giving away your personal info, so basically you can use it however you want.
3526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With the price increase, again, should we consider moving from BTC to mBTC? on: May 04, 2017, 03:39:33 AM
I think there is no problem with zero's it just hard to pronounce it sometimes
when you're having an discussion with someone.
But over all the computation is easy and sometimes you can use some web application's to calculate you bitcoins to make your life lot easier.
3527  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling Digital Products With Bitcoin on: May 03, 2017, 02:27:17 AM
This has plenty of marketeers that sell digital goods for example coupons, games, domain site, vps and you even buy some stuffs like clothes, shoes, gadgets, cigarettes.
There are a lot of altenatives here where you can buy what you're lookin for.
3528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: May 03, 2017, 02:20:44 AM
Bitcoin as an crypto currency has some features that the users like for example it's decentralized and anonymous feature, you can send money to your client, friend or family without typing to much personal information and it has no rules and regulations in order to send or receive payments.
This why some countries doesn't want to legalize it as a mainstream payment.
3529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: “One Bitcoin, One House,” Nonsense or Reality? on: May 03, 2017, 02:08:45 AM
It's true what he said before but is was the past, bitcoin has far more innovated and more users have put big amount of investment in this digital currency and in case you haven't notice this curency has matured from volatility because people has faith in it.
Some countries has started to adopt it and the recent legalization in japan this shows that bitcoin will reach a great price value in the future.
3530  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How many fee do you usually buy and sell bitcoin and ecurrency? on: May 03, 2017, 01:56:00 AM
Usually it is free to deposit but withdrawing has a fee in most sites, i think for withdrawing it's good to charge just 1-2% withdrawal fee.
But for every transaction made in exchanging usually they take 1-5% fee enough to cover their expenses.
3531  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaches the price of 1500 USD do we have to sell or we save? on: May 03, 2017, 01:37:42 AM
Well it all depends on you, if you really want to make money real quick you should sell it but if you want to earn more you should probably just wait for now.
There are many speculation that the bitcoin price will reach $5000 this year so patience is virtue.
3532  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What would you like to buy? on: May 02, 2017, 02:59:07 AM

3533  Economy / Economics / Re: Nobody Can Have Benefit From a Big Pump on: May 02, 2017, 02:46:26 AM
That would be amazing if bitcoin price surges to $3000 in just an hour, i think allowing bitcoin to sell when it reaches to that price will be profitable for them if they take a fee for every single trade made and they even might will also increase their withdrawal fees.
if it happens i could just store bitcoin in an wallet and let it increase.
3534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is going on with Bitcoin? Satoshi Nakamoto on: May 02, 2017, 02:31:54 AM
Many had claimed to be satoshi nakamoto including Craig but none of them has really the qualities of being satoshi nakamoto because they lack the understanding in programming and we all know that satoshi nakamoto is a great coder who created bitcoin.
Satoshi is an anonymous entity so why would he reveal himself ?
3535  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats causing the price to go high to ATH? on: May 02, 2017, 02:24:12 AM
It must be Japan acceptance of bitcoin as payment a method
in good and services and other big businesses there are testing it.

And the other cause maybe is Bitfinex setting everything higher because users is increasing the value on their exchange due to the recent hack but sometimes  just because something is going high it doesn't mean it wll go down, we'll see after a few weeks.

3536  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Strange balance behavior in Poloneix on: May 02, 2017, 02:03:11 AM
Did you contact support about your account?
Check your email if someone has logged in with your account if it does change your password, clean your pc with an reformat.
It seems like someone is using your account or just an bug from the site itself, contact support for further clarifications.
3537  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cloud mining/Investing or trading on localbitcoins? on: May 01, 2017, 02:20:52 AM
I highly recommend trading it has a chance to double or to triple your bitcoins and i highly doubt that cloud mining/investing is profitable
you will not receive any ROI in those cloud minings and lose your money instead but trading through localbitcoins or some altcoins is a good way to earn some amount of money you can even make it a living.
3538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening currently with cryptocurrencies on: May 01, 2017, 02:11:16 AM
lol the title is misleading the topic is not related to cryto currencies it's just an image of bitcointalk having some kind of error.
But i think altcoins nowadays are doing just fine their price value is even soaring up especially ETH, dash, Doge, i guess this is because of bitcoin scaling.
3539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ANY BTC HOLDER WORST NIGHTMARE, and it happened to me... on: May 01, 2017, 02:03:47 AM
My god that's just bad to worse man, even though ive lost lots of bitcoin in the past yours is just way to big amount especially when bitcoin's price is soaring up and also altcoins.
You should have written your passphrase down or copy paste it in a textfile and hid it away that no one will find. What kind of passphrase is that. ? is it from an online wallet provider or it's just stored in your pc?

If it's an online wallet like coinbase you could try the "Forgotten password function"
3540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: May 01, 2017, 01:47:09 AM
I want to own 1 bitcoin but i just can't because it's just to hard for the poor to buy 1 bitcoin especially when the internet is full of scams.
My experience with bitcoin is i got scammed many many times so that's why it's to hard for me to earn 1 bitcoin.
