3521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP Price Dives After SEC Files Charges on: December 25, 2020, 01:37:45 PM
Aaand thanks to Bitcoin's new ATH which is happening in these last few hours,,, we are seeing a huge pump in XRP. I guess whoever thought it was a good idea to buy at the XRP dip this week is going to be happy. I saw 33% but now looks like almost 40% gains will be concluded by the end of the day.

@BitcoinGirl.Club

I’ll try a different angle this week, be much more humble. I can’t believe how many places I dropped haha.
Let's see how you and big_daddy do in this round. Before getting busy with Christmas things and mess up my brain I thought it's time for me to make my picks.
I am average as always. I never got the yellow cap not the wooden spoon however I was close to get wooden spoon several times. I wish I do the same for yellow cap sometimes. 😛

I put in my picks early already. Hoping for a strong Spurs win but me myself I put in a rather conservative prediction,,, for me as long as we enter 2021 in a winning way in the top four I am happy. I know we lost 2 games,,, but it was to very strong contenders. We just have to keep winning the games to the bottom half of the table. Plus a semifinal EFL:)
3523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: "The next 100x-1000x coin?" bitcointalk thread ----> 3 years after! on: December 25, 2020, 11:44:37 AM
Nice stat read for a bit, I am not even really interested in these 100x debates but it would be interesting to look at the ones that actually came through and see what exactly made the coin a success. Also 100x should be in a certain period. 1 day or 1 hour 100x is not useful for anyone,,, right?
3524  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: December 25, 2020, 11:13:00 AM
Watford until they fired their manager too (seriously, why, when they're not THAT bad?)...

Lol, say what?

This is news to me, and frankly quite shocking, Watford really sacked Vladimir Ivic??? They literally have one the top defenses in the league and are top 6 from the start of the campaign, like seriously, one lucky penalty for Brentford and an away loss to a tough Huddersfield team and you get rid of the coach, please...

Maybe Ivic should be grateful he was left to coach for 20 games, how many coaches did Watford had last year??...yeah exactly! This is just plain dumb!

I mentioned this in another thread about patience and it seems these days in modern football there are 3 parts of the club that do not have patience. The worst is from the owners. the next is from the board of directors. And finally the last,,, unfortunately, is the fans. Remember Arteta and how the fans loved him for FA cup win? Few months later they are calling for his head.
3525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: technical analysis short setup for bitcoin today on: December 24, 2020, 06:24:03 PM
Looks like another bounce is going to happen now as we approach the weekend. I have been noticing now buying dips at below 23k is happening (and which is why I believe even 20k will touch again at some point before 2021. Too much whales playing around in the market trying to make a sweet deal from it all.

While for me this isn't the only site that I'm earning interest on BTC, it is the ONLY faucet website. Like for example, there are exchanges that give you interest (Kraken comes to mind) but I can't tell you of any other faucets. Granted, right now I'm not active in a lot of BTC faucets. Anyway, I think the Earn BTC feature is one of the features that make freebitcoin more attractive to members.

Same as Binance they let you keep your BTC in accounts for very small interest (about 1% a year or something like that) but I can name one other exchange, a Russian one,,, with faucets for all kinds of coins, just that nothing compares to FBC in terms of size AND provably fair. Still wins hands down in my mind:)
3527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What You Think About UNI coin Is It good to Hold It For Longterm perspective on: December 24, 2020, 03:19:27 PM
thats the utility of this coin . as of now defi is still breathing somehow so we can expect that there will be an activity flowing on uni exchange and this exchange is more open to any defi projects so earning a volume is never been that hard for uni .

Defi is definitely still breathing even though you can see now ETH is back at 570 and falling thanks to Bitcoin slipping up after hitting 24k yet again yesterday. It is going to be very hard to get anything in this climate I think,,, and defi projects are going to be the first to suffer without real utility going for them.
3528  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for others input....... It's a bit long but really would help on: December 24, 2020, 01:47:47 PM
Sorry OP but you seem in the wrong here. You realized the mistake but you still placed the bet if I read it correctly,,, which means that you still made a bet, regardless of the money source. You lost. End of story, right?
3529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sec vs Xripple and in the future vs BTC? Is it correct? on: December 24, 2020, 01:16:42 PM
Well tough news but this is not the first time that US regulators have acted against the interest of actual paying customers,,, and in the end most customers lose after long legal process (because regulators will also confiscate funds and try to return proportionately) after fees of lawyers and court battles etc.

But in the long run, they just want to prevent more new customers from losing more money.

Do not trust your money with centralized entities and especially those not regulated that is all.
3530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Betting thread - Combination with over and unders on: December 24, 2020, 11:49:41 AM
Thank you rdbase for opening another thread 2x seems very nice odds especially if you look at picking the winners for expected matches, I have to agree,,, seems perfect for martingale in a way;)

No stats for me to know but looking back it seems very hard to tell over/under here. I went for a multi under Totals on Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, LA Lakers.
3531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Like OKEx And Huobi, Another Chinese Exchange Has Been Suspended on: December 24, 2020, 11:18:35 AM
Well,,, what can we say? The old lessons of cryptocurrency are always true. Not your keys not your coins so remember. Trade at exchanges as you wish but as soon as you are done, please withdraw everything and keep it on your own wallets. The risk is never ever worth keeping it there.
3532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: December 24, 2020, 09:17:14 AM
Only follow basketball for fun and I do not really get the whole rules but betting seems to be "easy" to pick. Like football except even easier because of no draws;)

OK so this is my selection, did I get this right? All unders for me:)

Miami Heat & under 226.5
Milwaukee Bucks & under 233.5
Los Angeles Lakers & under 228.5

3533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where can I find new altcoins to catch them right when they are going to launch? on: December 23, 2020, 05:57:08 PM
There are lots of sites but there are only a few sites that can be trusted. Almost all of these sites were getting paid to listed the crappy coin. As far as I know the legit site like icodrop or cryptorank are the only sites that can be trusted right now.
People should be actively discussing it with another person from the various community too.

Everyone gets paid one way or other my friend. Some take listings,,, some deny it but take it. Some take a token fee for successful sales, some take percentages cut of the whole thing. Nobody these days lists a centralized token project from the goodness of their hearts anymore;) Email lists, be on them. You will see what I mean.
3534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I introduced cryptocurrency to my friends by using DOGECOIN on: December 23, 2020, 05:04:55 PM
It's understandable that the dogecoin meme contest was a success and it gives the coin more exposure but cryptocurrency is a serious investment that needs to be treated more than just fun and dogecoin to only be an entertaining/online reward coin was the reason most whales investors never support it.
Nevertheless, I also start my crypto joining with dogecoin, it was among the reputable crypto then, and it not among the powerful ones now.

But why change something that is clearly not broken? Dogecoin is truly one of the more decentralized altcoins where it is just moving and flowing as it has always been. Has a nice status as a memecoin unchallenged. And still can make waves. Seems like the perfect ALTERNATIVE coin to me:)

3535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EFL English Championship League Thread on: December 23, 2020, 03:43:59 PM
Just found this thread;)

Did not realize that we had enough fans here but I guess it would make sense from past EPL participation. I can imagine I would still follow Spurs as much as possible if they ever got relegated.

Watford are crazy, firing coaches all the time do they not think this affects their game?
3536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: December 23, 2020, 02:40:03 PM
Research? Just go with the no draw strategy and flip a coin. Head means home win, tail means away win  Tongue

I never done this before but I will take your advice. Spurs win for me, and most of the favorites with the exception of random teams, which I use a special strategy of mixing prime numbers for the pick;)

Last week of MultiMaster for 2020 so I hope to also get something to celebrate the new year. Good luck everyone!

3537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple XRP Price in 2021 on: December 23, 2020, 02:08:04 PM
Ripple designed for speed and fees? What would you call Bitcoin's lightning network then?Wink Even faster, even cheaper, and a lot more secure and more liquid and more outlets to spend them.

Ripple is a bank coin, not a global use case coin. And not even banks are using them properly now.
3538  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - $500k Holiday Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: December 23, 2020, 01:05:43 PM
I liked blackjack because apart from its lowest house edge among the provably fair games I learned it easily even when it was basic when I first tried to play it.  But I know I still have some unknowns just like the reference you shared discussing other rules, basic and text strategy.  It just seems hard to remember.  Thanks to that, I didn't know there was such a thing I don't know those yet because I only do hit and stand.  I do not use Split or Double.  I also do not take insurance.  I only use soft 17 like most dealers.

You are right that the use of martingale is dangerous because I have failed several times to use it.  But I can't do anything because this is my only strategy now that sometimes and even works more often.

Yes,,, me too. BJ has always been the prime candidate because if you follow strategy faithfully and take advantage of double down offers, extra side bets etc, lowest house edge gives you good wagering amounts. Definitely not the game for martingale though,,, you maybe at most places from smallest to biggest bet is around 10x losing streak max.

Play BJ long enough and this is sooo easy to hit;)
3539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rebase Coins on: December 23, 2020, 11:14:31 AM
Basically, from what I understand, in short yes you got it right.

Take it at 3 steps:
1. Fiat problem, inflation. So solve with Bitcoin. But problem, volatility, so cannot use as form of money (unreliable value).
2. Stablecoin to solve volatility. But problem, more market manipulation and supply back to fiat expansion.
3. Rebase coins. Solve supply problem and solve manipulation problem.

EFL Cup tonight

Stoke vs Spurs
Everton vs Man Utd

I’m tempted to have a cheeky Stoke, Everton double. This cup always throws up some strange results.

Nooo,,,! But actually you probably might hit this. I am just saying this because I am a Spurs fan;)

All honesty though, Spurs and Mou know they want to deliver something to their fans and a league cup brings Europa guarantee anyway. Stoke probably want it much more though. Whoever wins, hope they stop City from yet another final.
