3541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining is causing a lot of power consumption and causing a lot of pollut on: April 17, 2022, 10:12:04 AM
I always see a mistake in understanding the nature of what is happening, Bitcoin needs energy regardless of its source, and therefore whenever alternative energy is available at a cheap price, the miners will use it regardless of its source.

Therefore, if you want to support them, help your government to put in place legislation that motivates all sectors to obtain cheap energy from renewable sources instead of trying to fix the error in the issue of carbon waste.

Note that all these speculations are for regulatory purposes and obtaining financing, but what will really change is the price of energy.
3542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ADA had a potential like Ethereum on: April 16, 2022, 11:53:58 AM
I have been and still invested in ADA for a long time, but I think that it is starting to die. With the days, we have not seen anything new in this currency. I also think that it has turned into a model that makes developers rich.

start from earning using stacking, more addresses generate more coins and more ada demand need to increase or price will go down with time

In general, if there is no real development in the coming months, then I withdraw most of my investment in it.
3543  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Planning to do a startup with real use case on: April 16, 2022, 11:23:27 AM
If you don't share some details about your startup and research, how would people give suggestion? If you don't want to discuss it publicly, you should mention how to contact you privately (such as forum PM or email).
I checked the latest topics he wrote and they seem general.
I don't know if he's trolling or using a bot, but someone who wants to help with a project will definitely be more accurate.
If he does not reply to this thread, I will be tempted to assume it is a bot account.
3544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting an NFT just got easy, didn't it? on: April 16, 2022, 11:11:37 AM
NFT AND Twitter it is a big red Flag that should be avoided.
NFT tokens gave the scammers an opportunity because they have no specific value and therefore may be zero or $100 or even more depending on the demand and therefore by creating a false demand they can make people buy some tokens at a price of $50 thinking that they are worth a lot, but their value is zero because of FAKE demand.
3545  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Features - Less is More on: April 16, 2022, 10:53:12 AM
What are your opinions? Would you prefer a slimmed down version (like the older 2.x and 3.x versions) or do you like it more the way it is now?
Which is better to have several options or not to have a choice? If you don't want some of the "advanced features" don't use them, or rather don't use any service if you don't understand how it works otherwise you may end up losing your money and no one may be able to help you.

Electrum wallet is not that wallet that cares a lot about GUI, so if you are looking for the interface and an easy-to-use wallet for newbie, you may want alternative options ----> https://sparrowwallet.com/
3546  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Another reason to avoid CEX for buying Bitcoin on: April 16, 2022, 10:13:49 AM
Fees are usually commensurate with experience and security, so if you are a beginner and do not know anything about cryptocurrencies, you are looking for an easy and direct way to buy, so that it is safe and the support team responds quickly.
Therefore, Cexs (Coinbase) is suitable for beginners, but when you want to buy on a daily or weekly basis, the high fees may end all your profits and therefore you will look for alternatives.

Don't think of it as black and white, but as long as you have the option, DEXs may be less expensive than CEXs.

3547  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about multisignature on: April 16, 2022, 09:55:41 AM
You can follow this for more info ---> https://gist.github.com/anonymous/7211362 with this Scenario
Quote
Archey wants to pay Bertha 0.001 BTC for a Twitter Platinum invite, but prevent Bertha from cheating him. Archey selects Iceland to act as a neutral mediator in case something unexpected happens.

multisignature addresses are not intended to be ready made escrow addresses but to distribute the ability to control who "sends money" from one pvt key to several keys so on a simple level they can be used but for commercial use, it's best to hire a developer to start from scratch.
3548  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trust Wallet - Fake Verification! on: April 15, 2022, 02:27:55 PM
Personally, the message seems convincing, especially if it is synchronized with downloading the wallet.

Did you receive that message as soon as you downloaded the wallet, or did it come to you randomly? It's strange that you get this message and you haven't downloaded the wallet.

In general, unfortunately, beginners may believe this message, so perhaps this warning must be include when using this wallet.
3549  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Virtual cypto debit card without kyc on: April 15, 2022, 01:15:22 PM
Hello guys. Can you help me find some crypto card without kyc. Thank you!! Wink

With such specifications, you mean a gift card, because it is the only way that work as crypto card without identity verification.
You can obtain debit/crypto cards that do not require KYC but until certain restrictions/limits, they will not work for all services, "especially the famous ones", and you may request KYC after that limits.

Don't try to believe those cards that give open borders and don't ask for identity verification because it's scam.
3550  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hashnest is a scammer now on: April 15, 2022, 12:58:05 PM
Yes it is a cloud mining service. I lost around 0.5 BTC. I can see people yelling on their Twitter/Facebook, I trusted them because they WERE owned by Bitmain. And later I realized Bitmain was no longer affiliate with Hashnest. Such a terrible moment

Is 0.5 BTC that you invested with them or is the profits that I got? If profits are impossible to obtain with cloud mining, which means that you have been scammed, but if you had invested in them, this money was enough for you to buy some mining hardware at the present time.

Anyway they have a long scam reports here ---> https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.hashnest.com so it seems a legitimate company in the past that turned into scammers
3551  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold and precious metals should scale to buy coffee on: April 15, 2022, 12:46:41 PM
For the average user, you can do this as long as you buy gold in a legal way, but the problem remains that the second party will need to get those gold coins, re-inking them again because the sale is made in standard units sealed with weights greater than those that enable you to buy coffee.

But the question is will governments allow this as a societal behaviour? Definitely not, because this may undermine the financial stability of the state, especially in times of crisis when a decrease in the exchange rate occurs due to the government's need to borrow from the banking system "printing money"
3552  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk makes offer to buy Twitter on: April 15, 2022, 12:34:28 PM
We all know how deceitful Elon Musk can be, all he cares about is doge coin, not bitcoin, even doge coin rose when he bought shares on Twitter, he is only looking for ways to make doge popular and this can be effective if he owns Twitter.
If you think someone would pay about $40 billion to pump Dogecoin, forgive me for calling you an idiot.
Elon Musk is looking for ways to dominate more sectors, starting with the internet, automobiles, transportation, and finally social media.
Meta may be the next world, and if Elon Musk manages to create Neuralink Brain Chip[1] that will replace mobile phones, having his own means of communication will be the next goal.

3553  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Feed and Greed Index on: April 15, 2022, 12:13:25 PM
Good idea, is the project open source or not?
If it is open source, can we know the measurement methodology? How to measure the data? Analysed? Exclude anomalies and other information.

There is some explanation here but it is general ---> https://cfgi.io/BTC/1d

In general, GUI is beautiful and the way the data is displayed is attractive, I liked it
3554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear market every team will pump their own coin on: April 15, 2022, 11:53:41 AM
The reason for pumping is not because the price has risen sharply, but because of the small market capacity for these currencies, for example, billions of dollars flow daily in Bitcoin, but because the market capacity is large, we notice that with a change of 2%, if a tenth of that amount flows into any of the altcoins with low market capacities, the price will rise by 2000%.

Now I know the good news is that any inflow of money in those currencies will increase the price, but what will happen if the opposite happens.

The price collapses if there is any difference in the price because the price changes dramatically due to the same reason "the small capacity of the market."
3555  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Average 70% to 85% drops in 'bear markets' before big pushes to ATH... on: April 15, 2022, 09:50:49 AM
If you are based on historical data, the only indicator that has not been broken so far is that when a previous top is broken, the price does not bounce back, which is what happened when the price crossed the $20,000 barrier for the first time since 2018, so when you build a model or an 84% correction, you must take that Under consideration.

The current prices are still good if we ignore the cycle that occurs every four years, and if it does not occur until the end of this year, we cannot consider this model valid for future forecasting.
3556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about loans on the crypto space? on: April 14, 2022, 12:07:20 PM
Since Covid-19 start-up and a lot of countries keep low interest rates with non-emphasis in monetary policy and therefore you can get a loan easily and without taking a big interest. so Why do you risk getting a loan from cryptocurrency that require an escrow(will be liquidity to cash as soon as they are low {selling at the lowest price})?

In short, ask a loan from your friend is better than getting a loan from cryptocurrency.

Finally, cryptocurrency investment is dangerous, do not invest in what you can not afford to lose and do not borrow money to buy cryptos
3557  Economy / Speculation / Re: Galaxy CEO analyzes possible behavior of Bitcoin on: April 14, 2022, 11:46:56 AM
Mike Novogratz has a long history of unjustified or extravagant estimates[1][2] so I do not have to say but just talk or respond to a journalist questions.
The prediction that is logically indicated but the price tends to the wishes and therefore good to see he did not give a very optimistic predictions as he was doing in the past.

Overall, it seems that his company is investing in the central funding, and therefore I can not believe its "prediction"[3]

3558  Economy / Economics / Re: Sri Lanka defaults on its $51 billion external debt on: April 14, 2022, 11:09:12 AM
I have read many reports to understand what is happening in Sri Lanka, but some tried to blame China, but I should have created a full failure of the government in the management of monetary policy since 2005.
Generally, the state is not significant and estimates indicate that they need about $ 7 billion to serve debt this year and the reserves account for about 2 billion dollars, a much better number from many countries such as Lebanon, Venezuela and Burkina Faso.

So I do not think the crisis in Sri Lanka will be as bad as Lebanon, especially if the government has manage it well, but again, it seems that the essence of the crisis is more external interventions or an increase in Chinese influence.
3559  Economy / Economics / Re: The main harm of existing “Stablecoins” is not controlled emission on: April 14, 2022, 10:47:07 AM
Personally the definition of stablecoins is a database value that stable the value of your balance within central platforms and therefore you should think about it like this basically, allowing withdrawal from platform, conversion between Cexs/Dexs and others in a good idea but ultimately stablecoins are limited to trading .

Thus, they are not directly linked to inflation ( Inflection increase per year/month while trading changes in short-term,) but the promises of the platform that keeps its stability.

Therefore, it is an intermediate stage in trading, instead of turning your profits to cash and then its deposit in the future, comes down to provide speed and low fees but otherwise, they are not "fundamental value" outside the platforms.
3560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found telegram chatbox where traders can talk live about trading on: April 14, 2022, 09:47:45 AM
There is chat box you talk live with other traders aand post your crypto projects and ideas to share with others there.
Global people you can make fastest way connections there

World Crypto Network
https://t.me/cryptonetworkofficial

Listen to "publicly" advices will hurt your trading because everyone has his way to think, concept of profits, how to make  profits and thus earns $ 100 is a win for you and a loss of other especially if tax are taking into account.

If it is better to avoid listening to other advice, then what about unknown people, you do not know them and they may be paid to promote a particular project. So avoid those channels at all and stop recommending them for your friends.

Unknown Telegram groups are the worst place to talk about crypto trading
