3541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why Shiba Inu has been rising in the last week - RobinHood petition on: October 29, 2021, 04:16:08 PM
I do wonder whether these meme coins are worth investing at all. It has never been my choice to invest in any of them, and nothing even Dogecoin itself. Although it is usually not bad for people who takes their position before the ride starts because they always get to make a lot more profit before it is over. Looking at the price of SHIB in the past two months now it is over a thousand percentage, which is really huge.

So, imagine those that got in the very first time, it’s a huge turn up for them. But then if you look at it other way round, you’d come to know that meme coins are totally a joke, or is SHIB going to be any different?
3542  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For those who think that they caught the moment when it's late to buy on: October 29, 2021, 12:21:11 PM
If it's too late to buy, then why don't you never think about opening a short position on futures trading? I really just don't get it.
You may do that even on spot markets with the help of stablecoins or fiats. Shorting is not only for futures markets but you can go for it on spot trading without any leverage. When you are buying stablecoins for your bitcoin then literally you are shorting and if bitcoin prices coming down then you need to buy back to close your "shorting".

I agree your point of being afraid to buy bitcoin now still most people never prefer to shorting as well. I must be one of them. I have been holding bitcoins for years hence I guess I do not need to disturb my positions right now for 50% gain or anything like that. I will buy more if dips and fund available otherwise I am just a spectator of market fluctuations.

people often think that they can only buy something and don't realize that they can do borrow sell too and get profit even when price falls.
This may be the case of new bitcoiners but people who are all actively making use of different discussion of this forum definitely might have got chances to check about shorting and how to make money even on downfall market of bitcoins. Definitely this topic might have opened many new people's eye and might serve its purposes.
3543  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learn more about trading on: October 29, 2021, 10:16:02 AM
Trading cryptocurrency might not be as easy as it may seem, so it’s always best to proceed with caution at first. As someone who have had no experience, you have to start small with your trading and be gathering some experience on how it works. Another very important thing I think every traders has to do is to find a secure wallet. The wallet you use is very important, there are two types of wallets which are cold and hot wallet. For someone that will be storing high value of cryptocurrencies, cold wallet would be the best. You can have hot wallet for storing small value of cryptocurrencies.

I have seen traders who have had issues with hackers, so it’s important to know the wallet you’re using and whether it is reliable. Next I keep repeating to newbies is to keep doing research. It doesn’t really matter your level of experience, things changes quickly, so you have to keep doing research.
3544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins have the potential for growth? on: October 29, 2021, 06:59:26 AM
Alt season will see so many of these coins go up that we will probably not end up with anything wrong here. Sure there will be some that will not go up, and there will be some that will even go down while everything is fine, which is rare during alt season but it does happen. However if you do not pick something like that, then you are going to be fine and I believe it is quite possible to pick something that will go up during ATH periods.

All you have to do is stay calm, pick something at least decent, and wait for the alt season to start. That way you will end up with something that is profitable for you, and you will not be losing your money to some shitcoin. It is a bit about picking the right coins, but also a big portion of the work is to be able to wait for the right time, buy when they are low, and wait for the ATH period to sell, that way it is nearly guaranteed to profit.
3545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: advantages in the cryptocurrency industry on: October 28, 2021, 11:03:39 PM
Nice advice but for me no need to wait to reach the capability to understand the whole concept of cryptocurrencies and how volatile this market is. Basic knowledge is enough to start and for people to fully understand what they are doing is to engage themselves in the actual scene. With active money on risk, they will feel the pressure of dealing in the market volatility and how to profit from it.
What is the basic knowledge that you are meant to know about cryptocurrency if not the fact that it is volatile and that it is used for transactions? Before anyone starts to invest in cryptocurrency they needs to know about it, at least know that there are risks that are involved when their money goes into it. They need to know that it is volatile, because if they don’t know this,  then they are going to end up regretting later why they invested in it.

Why it is good to have the knowledge on this is because most people , if they are not aware of the risks that are involved,  they might end up investing too much in it and at the end they will regret it because they will be hit by too many losses in the market.
3546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not Bitcoin or Ethereum, it's a good cryptocurrency for the short term on: October 28, 2021, 10:26:16 PM
People who say "bitcoin and ethereum are not the real deal, shiba is the main money maker" type of stuff have zero clue about what cryptocurrencies are. Anyone who thinks that shiba is the future and they will make money from it should not be listened in the future neither, not just about this but anything they say. Write down the name Gabriel Rey aside, and whenever you see that name, if he says something then do the opposite and you have a better chance to profit.

Yes, there was a hype on shiba and it reached new ATH and you might have made some profit from it. However realize that ALL the coins that got hyped ended up dropping significantly, look at stuff like EOS and so forth, you will realize that they were not doing that bad, they were good like Shiba and Doge is right now, and in the end they all got low. Same will happen to shiba, 100% no doubt.
3547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with new meme coins on: October 28, 2021, 10:01:32 PM
Investing your money in all these new meme coins that we are seeing these days it’s a huge risk. I have not even picked interest in any of them ‘cause they’re always a joke to me, may looking at them and everything about them, you can easily tell that there’s nothing serious about all these new projects that are coming out. If I wanted to invest in any memecoin,it is definitely going to be shibainu, because this one has proven to be reliable investment.

I know that some people do think that new coins are the best because they can pump at anytime and make them lots of money, but they shouldn’t also disregard the risk that are involved. Before buying any cryptocurrency you have to be ready to do a serious research on that and look through it before you start investing.
3548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - a joke or a way to make money? on: October 28, 2021, 06:22:00 PM
dogecoin became a magic horse in the crypto world but his tough joke style suddenly became a brand with such funny support. And the brand represents the future but remember that making money with jokes is quite dangerous and can bleed when we are careless.
Yeah, like people have mentioned on this discussion, anything could happen for dogecoins. Because, we cannot expect a continuous support for dogecoin from Elon Musk as he is known for developing business like paypal and then getting into new projects which are feeding his challenge loving nature. So, being cautious will help all the crypto adapters for sure.

I don't think it's like that either, because the world's rich people when doing something all have benefits.
I do think dogecoin will achieve a status of being a top currency in crypto space or it will get back to being a joke again. Because, Elon Muck or anyone cannot keep pumping and dumping all the times. He needs to take care of dogecoin completely or need to leave off. So, I am not expecting it will remain both.
3549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you actually using/buying NFT's, and Gaming Tokens? on: October 28, 2021, 05:48:11 PM
There are 2 kinds of NFT that are popular right now.
One is NFT art which is the one we are seeing in Opensea more often. No need for further explanation on this Smiley.
Another one is the NFT under the blockchain game. Games like Axie Infinity, Splinterlands, Voxies etc. are the examples of games which requires you to buy the NFT under the game to play it.

I'm buying NFT under blockchain games but not NFT arts and at the same time, I'm invested into Gaming Tokens right now like ENJ which is a gaming token and AXS. Kinda thinking of investing into another NFT but can't decide which or I will just wait for more NFT games to be released Cheesy.
Most people are doing what you are doing. Art part is certainly a vast market and yes there are a lot of buyers there, a lot of sellers, creative minds and so forth. However, most people are buying stuff that are utility NFT tokens so that they could do something with it. Yes all those ape and punk and whatever things did get a lot of hype and they are worth millions of dollars at high end, but that was it, we do not get that type of hype around them constantly.

On the other hand people are showing interest to IDO stuff constantly, everyone gets into the games on early stage, try to make as much token as possible with their NFT, and play as much hours as they possibly can based on game mechanics, and in return they are hoping for greater profits when the game picks up and gets famous like axie. Obviously not many gets to that level, rarely ever, but as long as they go up, it is profitable for them.
3550  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook Diem on the run for launch on: October 27, 2021, 08:54:23 PM
If Facebook should launch this cryptocurrency successfully, I think it’s going to be a really big challenge for the banks. Why I think this Facebook currency is going to be a serious challenge for the banks is because they have a really huge platforms with billions of users, and that means that most of the people are going to start making use of this Facebook digital currency to start sending money to their friends and family around the world.

So, it’s going to be a bit of a problem for banks because of those people who are going to abandon making use of banks to send money to their loved ones and start making use of Facebook digital currency. Till then let’s wait and see how it is going to turn out. But, I fully believe that as long as they’re able to maintain it , itis going to be a really huge success.
3551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the government expect from bitcoin legality? on: October 27, 2021, 08:06:41 PM
I would go with the first option you provided: which is a way for them to generate income for their country and the people.
As for the two other options, I am not so sure about those ones. Reasons why I am not so sure about them is because: talking about the second option which is about giving freedom to people, I don’t think the government would like to give people 100% freedom when it comes to finance, they would also like to be in control when it's something that has to do with money, take for example they would like to know where every transaction is going to and where it is coming from, information like that would be important to them.

Then talking about the last option which you said that they want to improve people’s standard of living, I don’t think that is really possible with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general: if the government wants to improve people's standard of living, then they will have to do that by providing jobs for the people and not through cryptocurrency.

For anyone to really gain anything from cryptocurrency they will have to invest money, and not everybody has the money to invest in cryptocurrency. That is just my opinion, I can’t really tell you what the government really wants from cryptocurrency when they legalize it, it is up to them, they all know their plans.
3552  Economy / Economics / Re: Africa’s crypto market has grown by more than 1,200% since 2020: Chainalysis on: October 26, 2021, 08:54:52 PM
Sometimes the government leave the people with no choice to make, in the case of Nigerians, I can remember that when they started making use of crypto currency was during their ENDSARS protest. And that was what led to their government deciding to place a ban on cryptocurrencies in the country, so that they can prevent the protesters from having access to funds for the protest.

Unfortunately for them this didn’t work out because immediately they banned cryptocurrency in the country people quickly switched to decentralized exchanges. Now nobody in that country is ready to make use of any exchange that is centralized, and this is going to be the same for other countries that will ban cryptocurrencies, their citizens will switch to decentralized exchanges immediately.
3553  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon musk now the richest man in earth on: October 25, 2021, 09:37:09 PM
I have to say 230+ billion dollars is the richest we have seen so far officially, but nowhere close to what the future rich people will be. We do not have that much money right now that we could attribute it to people who are rich right now, it is the future we are talking about. One day someone will come up with something new, a new technology, a brand new idea, something that will shock the world, for maybe a decade or even longer he will just be selling pieces of his company to keep making it better and eventually he will worth over a trillion dollars.

This is how inflation works, if the rich stay at exactly the same level as they are, then inflation will cause them to get "poorer", of course they will not become poor, it would require decades or even maybe a century for them to be ever poor, but they always have that need to keep growing to get richer because of inflation.
3554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance promoting Shiba Inu on: October 25, 2021, 01:03:26 PM
Uuhm, isn’t this like the normal thing that exchanges do when they release a new cryptocurrency on their platform? Roll Eyes If an exchange releases a new cryptocurrency on their platform and it’s trending  they are going to promote it for sure by displaying it on their homepage and other platforms.

It’s a normal thing that every business does, your promote the product that is selling out more than the others. Coinbase also launched SHIB on their platform and they also did this same thing and I even got a mail from them that talked about SHIB and two other coins that they launched. They might just do it once and that would be it.

3556  Economy / Speculation / Re: New All Time High Baby! - $66,974.77 on: October 22, 2021, 01:39:52 PM
Let's see what the next two Ber months will bring to us. I hope it's good for a better Christmas. More gifts for the kids.
I'm not having any big confusion about what we are going to have in the remaining months of this year because I have learned big lessons from 2017 and 2013. I mean we must need to ready for another strong rounds of bullish mode which might take bitcoin into $100k or even $200k levels. The news of bitcoin ETF, got us into a new ATH and now any other positive news will get into those magic 6 digits for one bitcoin.

In my local exchange, bitcoin today tried and failed to break $65k levels (not sure tradingview charts are showing the same thing), it might mean that we have intermediate resistance around $65k to $67k levels before breaking the psychologically big barrier $70k levels. So, I guess we need time till this weekend to get into $70k regions.
3557  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitage trading on: October 22, 2021, 11:38:15 AM
Or use alternative coins when moving your capital, there are alts that introduce quick transactions with low fees you can take advantage of it in moving your coin to another exchange when you spot a good gap between two exchanges
There are multiple problems in using other coins for deposit/withdraw. Because, you need to bear the "spread". It means you need to buy any altcoin at "ask" price and need to sell at available "bid" prices (for instant buy and sell) and when exchanges are having again gap in this spread then your profit level will significantly diminish.

So, using other coins than what we are usually considering for arbitrage will certainly impact your profit levels.

More on short-term goals as every opportunity like this is being eyed by day traders who love taking their edge with other traders
Obviously who are all continuously watching markets may figure out the price gaps across exchanges. So, day trader might be getting arbitrage opportunity more frequently than others.
3558  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basic Types of Trading on: October 22, 2021, 05:20:12 AM
leverage trading is something that should be engaged only by the experts, a newbie or even a good trader do not have the necessary tools to be able to manage their leverage correctly
In my opinion almost all kind of active tradings are not suitable for 99% of people (and 1% belongs to pro traders) as those necessary tools and knowledge is not sufficient with them. Against ever-changing market fluctuations, we must need to keep updating our tools and knowledge to stay secured in trading which is not an easier task hence most traders ending in losses.

So, which type of trading will be definitely profitable: holding or long term trading.

I regularly suggest everyone to go for long term trading so that we could easily beat market fluctuations.

There could be at least 10 different types of trading methods are available and a trader does not need to master all of them but must adopt a method which is profitable for them; this way long term trading will be profitable for almost all the 100% of traders.
3559  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: October 21, 2021, 11:14:40 PM
Those who have entered the pre-sale all of them don't got the opportunity to get any of the Rollbot as this was too fast for everybody to get the chance as 27 seconds is very fast time to sell out them. But those who have them are some kind of lucky but still it's our luck and can have the next chance.
I understand that Rollbot stuff we are seeing right now seems to be a great hype and people are very happy that it is happening, this is why 27 seconds thing happened. If it was a bad thing then it wouldn't be 27 seconds and it would be something that would not be sold for hours or even days or maybe even never end which is a very rare thing in the NFT world but could happen.

I would say that there is a good chance that we wouldn't be able to do something that would be awesome for everyone, obviously there will be only a few people who will be able to get it in 27 seconds. Do we know if we had some sort of limit per account? If there was one then it would be basically the best case since it would allow a lot of people own it.
3560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Use Technical Analysis? on: October 21, 2021, 10:12:49 PM
I definitely do not use any TA right now because it is a bull run and in a bull run you do not even need a TA type of deal to make a profit because you are going to be making a profit anyway so why care something about what's going on in the crypto world and trading world when you could just hold and still make that type of profit anyway?

This is why I believe that there is a good case that you could be making a good profit anyway without caring about what type of situation you are in, just focus on doing something that would basically be holding and accumulating and you will be richer so there is no reason to do something like TA right now. I personally believe that TA is overcrowded and people are looking at it like it is a method that you could be making a guaranteed profit if you are great at TA but that doesn't mean that you would be making that profit at all.
