3541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Local sports book, arbs? on: December 23, 2020, 09:16:57 AM
What surprises me here a lot is how op made six bets and only won one which actually the winning covered up all the amount spent, is the arbs thing so hard to predict like that? So meaning, OP won by placing $10 x 11 odds =$110 with some bonus summing up $120 for choosing Jets to win, the odds are pretty too high, meaning someone can quickly become rich over night by betting in arbs?

I don't know much about arbs, but i can draw conclusion to this that;
  •  Arbs are difficult to predict meaning the bookmakers manipulate results.
  •  A winning in arbs is heavily profitable and one can recover all money spent on other failed bets.
  •  Bookmaker gives out results to gamblers, so bettors accepts any result given to them, meanwhile its the opposite of soccer betting.

Please, i need corrections if I'm wrong on those lists above.
3542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is my Bank on: December 22, 2020, 08:45:12 PM
I really appreciate your idea of using cryptocurrency as a means of saving than using your traditional bank method, but there is something you need to understand, funds in the exchange is different from funds in the wallet. What you are literally doing is more risky because all of your funds are in the exchange where you trade and store right? But this isn't appropriate as funds in exchange is vulnerable to hack or something similar, meanwhile of it happens mean your funds are gone.
It would be better if you had had a wallet (with private key) for storing the little funds you gained from trading as this is the surest way whereby your funds will be saved so you can easily feed your family and yourself, it this right at some point?
3543  Other / Meta / Re: 🏆 Bitcointalk Community Awards [Results of the Year + Quiz] on: December 22, 2020, 04:55:43 PM
Congratulations to all the winners in the bitcointalk community awards, its just shows to us how well you have helped the forum to this extent and I'm proud to see you all with the designed awards, sorry for those that couldn't get the award like that of "the most discovery of the year" where filippone was overtaken by ratimov,  Grin

For the quiz, the questions were complicated and somehow hard to get it correctly, I I got 4/20, failed wholeheartedly.
3544  Other / Meta / Re: Newbies account upgrade on: December 22, 2020, 04:12:51 PM
Please I have a question
 Which one is copper membership?
I don't seem to understand at all.
Copper membership are usually bought by newbie account to be eligible to upload images on the forum, normally, it enables them having the same features member rank account has.
By popular demand, newbies can now pay to have some of their restrictions lifted. If you pay the fee, you become a Copper Member, and you can post images. That's the main point of this: allowing newbies to post images.
So newbies buy copper membership?.
I don't understand.
Someone should put me through.
Not all the newbies buys copper member account, mostly companies that need to upload images finds their way to upgrade to copper member with a total sum of 0.00119981 BTC, click here for more information
3545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: binance withdrawl fees ERC2.0 on: December 22, 2020, 08:08:00 AM
I tried to move my CHZ token just the other day and it costs me $5 seems that's constant even the value of the them becomes lesser or higher.
I thought the high withdrawal fee is mostly applied to ETH and BTC only, i just made some withdrawal on Binance this morning via XRP with a quite low fee of about $0.21 which actually was fast too as well.
3546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the founder of Bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto show up and give bitcoin? on: December 22, 2020, 07:32:47 AM
Satoshi planned to develop Bitcoin in an anonymous way. He wanted it to be successful and at the same time he wanted it to use it around the world without the problems that may arise when there is always a known owner. There will be no partnership that will happen that may cause additional fees, there will be no political issues that may arise, there will be no capitalism that some business owners would grasp because Bitcoin is such a powerful asset. I think Satoshi, hid himself from popularity and publicity because of these.
Me especially having a second thought that the name Satoshi Nakamoto is a fake name, is that really the real name of that dude? Someone going anonymous would not expose his name to be satoshi, instead Craig Wright impersonating on the internet to be fake satoshi, its really awful and weird all around.
Beside, fake satoshi (CW) and anonymous satoshi will never perform giveaway in any form while remaining in a hiding place, can a hiding dude come out to give the public a gift? Impossible.

3548  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a few people. You have nothing to lose. on: December 21, 2020, 09:24:22 AM
op you refused to respond while? Because it's obvious that time is precious.
but then you did not replied me. does that mean I've been failed at your test and will not go to the next step?
I have already think of hitting on the telegram link but these two comments made me retrieved back, why isn't op not responding, isn't it scam suspicious? But I can't conclude on that, let me give a try.
3549  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PornHub on: December 20, 2020, 04:01:19 PM
Hehe I can see another issue that will be thrown at bitcoin by critics. There's the undying bitcoin use to buy drugs and other illegal stuffs in the dark web then there's use in illegal online gambling. Next will be bitcoin use to support exploitation of women and child abuse.
This especially surprises me as users now buying illegal tools using bitcoin as high price, I could remember the seasonal movie "Money heists" actors used 60 btc in buying guns and firearms. This indirectly shows me a promotional value in the usage of cryptocurrency making the unknown be aware of his bitcoin transaction works in the industry.
3550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: December 20, 2020, 03:47:06 PM
I'm worried about the Barcelona's match. PSG is a very strong opponent for them. Barcelona's performance in the Champions League is great. But I was disappointed to see them play yesterday in La Liga. They cannot win against small teams. Will they be able to win against a big team like PSG? I am not satisfied with the defense of Barcelona. On the other hand, PSG6 have some great striker and midfieldes like Mbappe, Neymar and Di Maria.
Barcelona has not performed perfectly during their last previous meetings in their league and international level, they were lucky enough to qualify to round 16 because of the underdog club in their group Ferenvarosi Fc, on the other hand, PSG forward will be smart enough to score at least 2+ goals which eventually will give them additional opportunity to qualify with goal aggregate. I see barca out from round 16 this season.
3551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: prediction betting platform pros and cons? on: December 20, 2020, 03:30:10 PM
It's like the bitcoin options that you mostly see popping ads on Google and YouTube videos. My take on it is that it's just like the casual guessing of the price for which it enhances your predicting skills because if you're serious with it, you'll use analysis and study on the market that you're about to predict.
That's is your own aspects of predictions that's more preferable to you, there are numerous number of people that are really good into politics and science predictions like that of the presidential assembly and cabinets analysis which sometime they gets it correct, to me this kind of predictions has to do with study of human behavioural patterns and approach to something in other to win, but the disadvantage as others had pointed out is the longevity of the final results taking months, that's why there are sports betting has many gamblers than politics, entertainments, science and others.
3552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔻 List of Casinos and Sportbooks to Avoid on: December 18, 2020, 11:02:23 PM
That’s what OP means.
If we read the thread to the end.
This is the best reference, as I also don’t do this much analysis for any gambling site. But this will help if when we want to play gambling
in a lot of gambling. And we better not use the services of gambling sites listed in this thread.
Yes, but what amazed me most is that some of the gambling platforms/websites had conducted signature campaign here on the forum paying at average amount to users, Nitrogen sport, Betking, 1xbit, and Acedbets had all done signature campaign. This had started teaching me some lessons as to be careful to what we promote here on the forum, some might spend some huge about of money thinking they really care about your winning but the opposite happens.
The must is awesome
3553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you see as the major flaws of the Bitcoin ecosystem right now? on: December 18, 2020, 09:37:03 AM
From what others had said above, I think there's isn't any actual renovations and implementations on the bitcoin network as it had already shown a great methods to securing funds. Its up to the people in the blockchain industry to avoid been vulnerable by constantly reading the safety procedures in keeping seed phrases and keys at safe place.
On the other hand, in some months ago, there was an introduction of the Lightening Network (LN) which was built as the Layer 2 protocol on top of Bitcoin network which actually will reduce the transaction fee and some other new features too, isn't it part of the new development in the industry?
3554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 18, 2020, 09:06:09 AM
it's obvious that we have different gambling which a country likely to play with seriousness and assurance hoping that they will win, like in my country many people adventure into soccer gambling from eighteen years upwards, which both father and mother go into soccer gambling center to play bet, that does not mean that they have higher rate in gambling, the statistics should have been specified the particular gambling, normally every country are into gambling now so no one can tell the highest gambling country because you have not move around the countries to know the rate other adventure into gambling.
Yeah, in other to put this in different category, there are some country that's basically in the soccer/football prediction as a major gambling priority, while some countries spent much on dice, casino, and slot gambling. In this case, it solely depends on the knowledge one is taught about the genesis of gambling in that country. For instance, in African countries, the only gambling prediction they take part is football which basically its easy and prediction because everyone has a specific club of fan
We don't know if that list is a valid source that gives us the valid list of the 10 countries that gamble the most.
I expected to see Macau or the USA like @TimeTeller says to be the first place on that list.
The list might not be the latest one as I that also matter to categorising most gambling countries in the world. I know clearly of USA as they one of the casino played country in history if I'm not mistaken.
3555  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitamp Bitcoin Web Wallet - Send & Receive Bitcoin Instantly! on: December 16, 2020, 10:01:37 PM
You can only get your private key for each of your receiving address.
I don't get your point here mate, are you trying to say that each time you regenerate new address on bitamp, immediately you are given out new pk?, or you mean, each type of address like legacy-address (starting with 1), P2SH-address (starting with 3), Segwit address(starting with bc1), all have their respective private key? Let me be clarified mate.
3556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc and alts on: December 16, 2020, 09:42:57 PM
All the scenario happens in the crypto market irrespective of the high demand in the specific coin, btc or alts, there are times btc price spikes up leaving alts behind as that sometimes signify incoming bull markets while some decent traders rush to get into some promising alts expecting the alts to follow after. In this case, it works and at times, may not work depending on the stability of the market. So actually, all these scenario happened unexpectedly and impossible for traders to decipher exactly what would happen next, whether alts before btc and vice versa.
3557  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin on high demand Africa nigeria and Malaysia on: December 15, 2020, 01:43:00 PM
According to your topic, yes, the demand for bitcoin is increasing rapidly and are mainly used by those countries in term of holding and making profit or some other stuff. Recently, on Binance highest trading volume for Fiat currencies , USDT/NGN, BTC/NGN has the higher trading volume at the moment showing how the citizen have interest in the usage of bitcoin and her advantage, the demand is pretty high enough.

3558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 15, 2020, 01:18:13 PM
I pick over 2.5 goals tonight for Werder Bremen - Borussia Dortmund match because Dortmund get unexpected results lately. Conceding 5 goals from Stuttgart at home was a big surprise. They need to recover from this loss but Bremen away games are always hard.
Both teams to score is another option but I'll stick to 3 goals, no matter which side scores. Smiley
Dortmund had been a not consistent winning club, their winning potentially is not as strong as Bayern Munich as there is a sensitive of stagnant play in their players which made them loss unexpectedly. Werder Bremen sure will score a goal in the match.
3559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Yield Bank is going to be the next 100x crypto on: December 12, 2020, 10:52:33 PM
Yield coin has become a dead coin since last month and the majority of these coins have been going down almost 100% value or some of the yield coins have been worth almost zero value. You said that it will be going 100x just to promoting your coin without giving a sense reason why it must happen for sure. It has no product but generates passive income through distribute the pre-mined coin.
That also means if yield bank has no product dude.
I wonder what will make a project grow or even go 100x when they don't have use case in the real life, these coins are just created for the gain of the owners that's all, immediately these defi coins starting listing, then the business between investors and the teams is gone, so there is no need explaining to us a unique feature your project may exhibit.
3560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Upcoming Projects Doing Scam on: December 12, 2020, 10:46:20 PM
I don't think all new coming projects are doing scam but those you mentioned. So many good project like dia data, dego finance, hex are got successful recently ever more that maybe i don't know about. So it isn't fair to blame all new coming project as scam those project that you mentioned, listed on low quality exchanges, continue trading with low volume even with fake bot. Most of investor avoided those project. So it was your mistake, selecting those for promote
Yes, there are wide number of new projects that are scamming vigorously, all they do is doing presale, if at all, they list on low volume exchange, like exmarket, catex, and all of those scam exchange, I experience this when u was participating in bounties last year until I stopped.
You just have to select one out of 100 bounties to have a successful campaign promoting experience, the funny thing about this is that, those scam project keeps repeating this thing, don't know if the owners keeps creating another while the older fails away.
