During the period of their supposed suffering, their economy has grown to become one of the strongest in the world, second only to the U.S., and only recently third behind China. Deflation hurts the wealthiest people more than everybody else. My name is Fran, I am from Spain and I am just starting with BitCoin. I am currently reading the book "Mastering Bitcoin" by Andreas M. Antonopoulus and I found it fascisnating. I also watched the documentary "The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin", pretty interesting too.
I have been looking around for ASIC based hardware to mine at home, for about €500 or so, and so far the better option seems to be the Bitmain Antminer S5, that's sold for about €450 here. The Spondoolies SP20 looks like a great choice too, but the problem is that I couldn't find a retailer in Spain, and coming from US with shipping is yet closed to €600. I'd like to join a real P2Pool peer to peer pool (now, that's really redundant...) as soon as I've got it.
In any case, any idea how much time I could expect to recover the investment on one of those, having them working 24 hours a day with an average price of €0.085 kWh? let's say at current $240 or so per Bitcoin price.
No need to say that any other advice is welcome.

I'm bit lazy doing some research.Which cloud mining company offers the lowest price/Ghs.Currently genesis-mining offering $0.47/Ghs.Something lower compared to this?
if you want invest in bitcoin business, buy bitcoin directly... mining, especially in certain countries, it is a waste of money, time, electricity... now is not cheaper!!!! so buy bitcoin directly on downfall... and hold it... did you remember when he reached 170/190$?  ? then hope it will reach 1000$ again |

but what about blockchain size after this implementation/fork? It wouldn't be a fork as you can do this now (by creating nonsense address hashes). Of course I agree it is a bad idea to bloat the blockchain in general - but I'd rather offer that for free than to see someone making money out of it. ok.. i understand... i thank you to clarify. you are great for the community... i read you on burstcoin thread too... really good writer!! kind regards!!! |

just to understand. this happen every time you open wallet??? Yes everytime i start bitcoin core or Bitcoin armory it will crash my computer. Cheers, James did you try to download the blockchain torrent file from bitcoin.org? https://bitcoin.org/bin/blockchain/bootstrap.dat.torrentdownload it then copy on your bitcoin install dir and open the wallet... doing so, you can avoid to download all the blockchain from wallet... hope this fix your issue!!!! |

i think he forget his key for blockchain, he can't access his account, maybe he is paying to bruteforce it?
i think brute force here can do nothing... maybe, if block chain support it is skilled enough, it can ask help to him!!! |

The concept is nothing new ("black hole" addresses such as "1BitcoinEaterAddressDontSendf59kuE" are exactly the same thing).
If people really want to do this and do it for free then I'll build it into the CIYAM Wallet (so the OP gets nothing as trying make money from spamming the blockchain should not be supported IMO).
