Winter is coming.....
Either Russia will cut off gas or Ukraine will cut off gas and say it's Russia's fault.Europe is screwed this winter. Expect 3-4 times higher energy bill.

This is the entire plan of MERICA!!!  Shutdown gas to EU from Russia and MERICA can come save the day via LGN and 5x the price!!!!! AHH YA MERICA!

Gaslog stocks anyone?

3544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy = Fail. Cryptsy ran off with my bitcoins. on: August 29, 2014, 02:35:16 PM
Cryptsy now pay for holding deposits, vircurex did the same - I'm out of this exchange, don't make Gox's mistake!

3546  Economy / Speculation / Re: There's your wall staring you in the face... Still no one buys on: August 29, 2014, 01:47:17 PM
The wall is holding, its not getting pulled.

the wall is moving down every 6hours or so, and you will have an irresistible urge to sell when it does so again.

Wat... I have zero.. negative actually temptation to sell when BTC price tanks... I have a temptation to buy...
3547  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lets get one thing straight: there will NOT be a run-up anytime soon on: August 28, 2014, 08:08:46 PM

Then you are a fool and you deserve your loss.

If I am a fool or if I deserve it is irrelevant to the topic. The point of the subject is that we won't be seeing bullish rallies until at least 1 years ahead.
And the altcoins will probably die off while BTC keeps its stronghold at 500-700.

I wouldn't bet on that.

3549  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next boom within 3-4 months tops on: August 28, 2014, 06:18:37 PM
My prediction: you are wrong. Bear market will continue and we will be lower than 450 in 3-4 months. Aso your "pattern" is nonsense.

No.. his pattern is not..  This has happend 3 times already..

3551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: August 28, 2014, 02:41:49 PM
Hm, I am seriously thinking to move all my BTC to LTC these days. It just smells the bottom. We tested lows twice and bounced very aggressively.

OKCoin LTC weekly volume is highest ever on any exchange, it's bigger than on btc-e during launch of last huge bubble. Much bigger. And it's 5-8 times bigger than OKCoin LTC volume during that phase.

BTCe volume is not as big though but BTC-e had much bigger share of LTC market back then.

I'm tempted, very tempted.

Same..  I might drop some Fiat on LTC actually..  FTC also attracts me.
3552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Island Party on: August 28, 2014, 02:40:38 PM
You guys are very pesimistic.

of course we are.
think about it. there are only 170,000 tonnes of gold, and 13mill bitcoins. this equates to:
1btc=458 ounces (on a rarity scale)

so knowing how rare bitcoin is, how pessimistic would you be for people on the internet to ask for 46 ounces of gold(0.1btc) for some project.

doing due diligence and not automatically trusting things is what smart bitcoin holders SHOULD be doing. scammers only win if people hand over funds without trusting or checking first. so treat everyone as a scammer until proven innocent. especially if you have the funds, they dont and their the ones asking for free donations

Fair enought, I suppose the fact I cannot just buy a ticket to this party with BTC is pretty sketchy..  I figured they would just set it up if you wanted to go it would cost... I dunno 2-5 BTC with 10% of that going to this cause.
3553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did someone feed DOGE a cookie? on: August 28, 2014, 01:53:50 PM
No amount of memes is going to save a currency that has a growing coin cap.

Why?  When the inflation level hits .1%..... It allows for almost zero transaction costs.. a massive problem for bitcoin.  The smallest amount I can logically send is 5 cents as I am paying a 5 cent fee.  A doge transcation costs me.. what.. $.00001?

Bitcoin will not become a spending currency it just will not.  It will become gold, people will horde it and it will be used as a store of value.  Another crypto like doge will become the "spending" currency.  IMO countries will start issuing their own when we have leaders that know what 1001 means.  Currently most leaders cannot even create a text file.. pathetic.

3557  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a rally in September? on: August 27, 2014, 04:39:55 PM
BTC's market cap is only 7 bill....  one person could skyrocket it to 30 bill...   I don't think they will but saying an instant mega rise is not possible is wrong.
3558  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a rally in September? on: August 27, 2014, 02:53:24 PM
Fuck. No.

September 2015? maybe

This is what I was thinking... We are in for a LONG LONG period of $300-600.. a long period.
