While Croatia were obtaining an unexpected victory against Denmark, France also turned this day into a nightmare for bettors by getting a draw against Austria. Frankly, it wasn't a very big surprise for me to see that Denmark couldn't win. But France's not being able to win their match caused my betslip to lose.
I think the odds for France to win @ around 1.80 issh was probably and indication of what to expect, It's not as if I didn't have France included in one of my betslips, I felt there would be some improved performance given their recent poor performance but then, it is what it is. Chelsea have officially announced the departure of CB, Andreas Christensen who's contract has expired with the club, and report as per (goal.com) has it that he has already signed a deal with Barcelona and should be announced within the coming week.
Christensen is just 26 years old, and has vast experience in Europe already, I'd say that's a great addition to bolster the Barca's horrendous defensive line.

Took a bet on +3.5 Golden State Warriors. Game 4 may not be the most important game of this series but I think this is a do-or-die situation for GSW. A must win situation if they really want to win this year's championship finals. Losing game 4 means they will be in a mission impossible scenario.
Have not put any bet for tomorrow's game yet because of Steph Curry's injury or apparent injury hehe. Is there any news now that he will play? I'm not losing hope that the Warriors would emerge as the winner of this series but if Steph is not 100 percent healthy then I think Celtics could take this one. I don't think the injury was significant enough for him to miss the game, I would like to see the series tied at 2-2 today, at least for spectating reasons alone, Celtics going 3-1 up might take a bit a away from that. I expect that the Golden State will lose this round but I didn't expect that they would give such performance, there's a lot of lose ball and interceptions, bad passes. It looks like they didn't expect that the defense of the Boston will be really that close. Performance from Tatum is really great, execution of plays as well as the attacks from the Celtics are great.
Looking forward for GSW win in the next round.
There were just so many bad play and decisions from the Warriors, especially when they get close after trailing by as many as double digits, they throw very long passes and forcing plays which leads turnovers after turnovers, and that always gave the Celtics the chance to build up the lead again, the Celtics were really patient with almost every of their possession even after they lost the lead momentarily. Game 4 is must win for the Warriors, or they can as well forget about the chances of winning the championship this year. |

June 9 will be the game three between the Celtics and golden state warriors, for this game, it's a big home-court advantage by the Celtics but we can not say that they will be the winner of this game because like in game 1 golden state warriors lead from quarter to quarter 3 but in the last and final quarter, Celtics become a monster and win the match so in game 3 maybe warriors will win. Actually I am a warriors fan good luck for our bet.
Currently the Celtics are up 15 near halftime. They have came out strong but the warriors are a 2nd half team, I look for this game to get alot closer by the 4th quarter. If Boston loses this game it will be a huge blow to their confidence. Warriors were able to cut it to a single digit deficit with 8 points within just 30 seconds, but a couple of TOs and stops gave the Celtics the edge again and we go into halftime with Celtics up by a dozen, it's a far from over game and how the 3rd Quarter ends/the start of the 4th Quarter might be the deciding factor here again just like it happened in the first 2 games. |

Celtics have started the game pretty well, with Jaylen feeling it early and have got 17 1st quarter points, while the Warriors still tends to be struggling a lot with making the their shots, the major efforts have also come from the Celtics defensive decisions, they've blocked at least 3 good layups in the last 3 minutes of the first quarter, these are the kind of plays that helps you win games even when your opponent are turning the ball over, but a 11-points isn't something you can rely on against the Warriors, they'll be here all night long.

I'm quite sure that the Warriors would win either game 3 or 4, I don't see them going 3-1 down in the series, so even if they lose tonight, I might double down on game 4, except there are of course unforeseen circumstances or huge turn of event. Warriors might be a bit short-handed today with both GP II and Otto Porter Jr both listed as questionable, Porter and Payton provided some quality minutes off the bench.

I still can't really hit anything - everybody is playing with B or C lineups and in weird formations. Still, at least I'm tracking the results and watching an occasional game - otherwise I'd fully skip this.
It's probably safe to assume that the coaches are trying out other possible tweaks ahead of the World Cup. I know it's still way to too early for that, but it sure looks like a the best opportunity to make a few trial and errors without any consequences or backlash from the fans. I don't really know why Wales/Ukraine are playing today, they had a qualifier a few days ago. I think Wales might get hammered by Netherlands.
I don't think it's weird since it's still the same amount of games other countries have played within the same timeframe, just that the importance of the games are significantly different. I have the Netherlands to win but it wouldn't be surprising if that doesn't happen, as that as been the case with me so far in this competition. |

I like the value of the Warriors ML 2.36 and I feel the Warriors are undervalued at +3.5, It's going to be an even game I'd say and I don't want to believe that the Celtics have a better advantage for being the home team.
I'll put my props closer to the game tipoff, but I'll like to go with Tatum on assists and Steph on points total, and maybe Wiggins for rebounds.

Game 2 was a very decent one for Warriors undoubtedly. They just crushed Celtics by a big point difference and something went really wrong with Celtics defense in this game. It wasn't solid as it was in the first game. It looks like Warriors found a good solution for this and destroyed them literally. For Game 3, I'm not sure about the result. It is very hard to predict now as maybe Warriors would catch Celtics by surprise in away court like Celtics did to them in Game 1. Or maybe Celtics will have their revenge on them. In any case, I believe that it will end up by a little gap.
We can expect a very close game-scoring started the game 3. I was supposed to think about the homecourt advantage that put Celtics has a huge odds of winning. But yes, we can't really underestimate these small players (GSW) as they are good in 3 points shooting that could outplay Celtics as they did in Game 2. Poole, Cury, Thompson - these guys have scoring gameplay that gives surprise to the Celtic's big players. There really isn't anything as home court in this playoffs, If the Celtics can take game 1 away from Boston, so there is also every possibility of Warriors winning either game 3 or 4, perhaps both. I'd be leaning towards the Warriors for game 3, most especially because of their offense, they've really got so many special players and can take the game away from you, just in a split second. |

It's so funny how my morale for the tournament have dropped drastically over just few matches into the competition, it's almost as though the players aren't even interested in these games and would rather have their summer somewhat free and perhaps camping for club friendlies in some nice cities, because I don't want to imagine the results would have been the same if it were to be a world cup that's going on. Going for an upset in the pool is just harder when you can't decide if you should go for a draw or the favorite to lose, the draw would seem more probable, but you get to drop points against almost all other participant of the pool if the favorite should win.

3rd quarter Warriors.  Big win for them and the adjustment was perfect. They shut down Smart, White, and Horford. That's what they want to happen and they didn't mess up tonight. Steph Curry doing most of the damage and then Jordan Poole, while Klay Thompson is still missing in the picture. Now, how will the Celtics adjust? A big question for everyone. They haven't won a 3rd quarter which is one of the crucial parts of the game. They must find a way to put an end to that. Horford who scored 26 in Game 1 only scored 2. Tatum got his worst plus-minus in his career with -36. TBH, I thought that the Celtics might get this because they played well in the first half but when the second half came, it's a different story. They shot near 20% in the second half while the Warriors are near 40-50%. After that 35-14 3rd quarter, the Celtics threw the white towel already and I think it's a good decision for me. They are down 23 at that moment and they already won one on the road. What they need to do is to watch the whole game and adjust base on their mistakes. The Celtics I think will adjust more on their offense. Tatum in their last 2 games isn't shooting well with only 3/17 in Game 1 and 8/19 in Game 2. Brown needs to step up offensively and maybe focus more on threes because that is their bread and butter like in Game 1. Tatum actually started the game quite well, but the Warriors were able to make adjustments early to keep him at bay and those two early fouls played significant role on Horford performance, and the Warriors defense also didn't give him enough space to get those wide open 3s like he did in game 1, he didn't even get to make any 3 pt shot attempt. Now the Warriors need to get one on the road as well, and I'm very confident they'll do just that. |

2 minutes remaining for the 3rd quarter and GSW is leading at 79-62. The first two quarters were close to each other but this quarter, the GSW had gained momentum. I guess this is all done for game 2. Although still a lot of time remaining and there's still the 4th quarter.
But, we'll see.
Jordan Poole with a dagger 3 to end the 3rd Quarter and this pretty much looks like a wrap already, but I'm sure Steve Kerr would be very about resting his stars early given what happened in Game 1.. It's a 23-point lead for the Warriors but since the got out score by 24 points in 4th of Game 1, we can all say the game just isn't over yet. 4th Quarter is about to get underway. |

I’ll admit I was worried at first that the Celtics were going to continue where they left off in the fourth quarter last game. Steph gave them the lead at the end of the quarter with a slick move to the basket. That gives me a little confidence that this is going to be a good game. The Celtics are still looking better than I’d expect though. Tatum especially is hitting some nice shots.
It's a much better game from the Warriors, but Celtics are going nowhere and would be in this ball game until the final buzzer, so the Warriors have really got to stay locked in, but what's quite worrying for the Warriors is that they're missing some really good shot, layups after layups are being squandered and Klay Thompson still can't find his rhythm and they don't want to miss these kinds of opportunities against Celtics because it might come back to hunt them. |
