3541  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: March 19, 2014, 03:01:31 PM
Guys don't worry.
Bitmain is a very standup business.

PM them with your order ID and your TXid.
They will sort you out.

3542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple users can send payments to bitcoin addresses on: March 19, 2014, 02:59:40 PM
You're obviously unaware that this ripplescam site was set up by TradeFortress, who most likely feared competition for his own business, and who in the end left his own users with significant losses when the bitcoins on his service were "stolen"...
Most of the statements on that site are false or half-true to the point of misleading.

Onkel Paul

Can you please provide more details?

It would be nice if I know more info.
Then I can draw a more correct conclusion.

3543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: KNC ASIC SCRYPT MINER... WHAT??? on: March 19, 2014, 02:55:05 PM
Did they even deliver the sha-256 miners?

Yes. I have 6 module Juniper from October 2013, hashing at 938Gh/s stable. 930W power draw.

1w/GH at wall is quite impressive!

Were they delivered on time?
How much did they all cost?
ROI?

@Tradefast: Although I don't care about El Dude and his opinion, I'd rather like if you kept your postings out of the general bitcoin discussion - it's only provoking unneeded antagonistic reactions.
Since all 4 of your posts are thread-starters, and you don't seem to engage in any follow-up discussion, it looks very much like that is actually what you want to achieve (and on top, your statement looks like it was just copied verbally from some web page).
BTW, the bitcoin bridge does not work at the moment (unless Bitstamp has re-enabled it) so using it as a pro-Ripple argument is pretty lame.

Onkel Paul (who actually thinks Ripple is pretty nice if understood and used appropriately)

wat , anyways ripple is terrible I see your a bagholder of it.

and I'll just leave this here  ripplescam.org

Thanks for the link dude.
It is exactly what I thought it was.
Nothing but a scam.

My question now is: is Bitstamp in on this?

3546  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Beware!! Fishing site for blockchain wallet login details appears as google add on: March 19, 2014, 02:12:25 PM
Bitcurex also warned their customers to be aware of a site that is copying them in attempt to get users login details.
3547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: help my money is stuck on block chain on: March 19, 2014, 02:09:42 PM
It depends which sites you are using.

Some sites delay payments and deposits in the cases of new accounts.
Virwox for example will not send your BTC until 48hours has passed (if you have a new account).
Check the sites FAQ.

3548  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [ CLOSED ] VX-1 Miner Group Buy - Free 1 TH/s Miner Giveaway on: March 19, 2014, 02:01:54 PM
This thread is full of LOL, i highly recommend...Smiley

Yeah it is.

I am waiting for The Observer to get back to us about his miners Smiley
19th of March was due to be delivered right?

I will give it another 4-5 days in case they had delays  Tongue
3549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: KNC ASIC SCRYPT MINER... WHAT??? on: March 19, 2014, 01:59:47 PM
Sounds good but pre-order is not acceptable to be honest. If delivered in December then my 100 Gridseeds will have been mining for 10 months already and made more than $10k.......

I will take a look when they have a prototype......

J

Bro if you have 100 Gridseeds now you don't need this.
You are mining for LTC already at very good hashing rates Smiley

3550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: KNC ASIC SCRYPT MINER... WHAT??? on: March 19, 2014, 01:53:16 PM
Any Group Buys for this yet??

I'm poor so I can't afford to risk $10K but I wouldn't mind getting some GB shares.

It's pre-order for Q2/Q3 but I am sure someone will start a group buy. Definitely.
100MH/s is a lot of power to be ignored.

None the less this could be good news for their customers.

Did they even deliver the sha-256 miners?
Ummm what? They delivered their 575GH/s miners like months ago. They're the real deal.

OK, my bad.
I am not their customer as you can see coz I don't do pre-orders Wink

3553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple users can send payments to bitcoin addresses on: March 19, 2014, 01:46:28 PM

Hiya,

Got a question to UK miners... Anyone here with Virgin Media working with more then 5 antminers? Any problems with your internet connection?

When I was running 5 ants all was good. Got 2 extra and the internet problems started. Lost my connection 3 times in 6 days. Called Virgin and an engineer came over... Fixed the problem at the junction box....4 days I had my 7 ants up and running. Today I connected an extra ethernet cable this morning...and zapp
Loosing my connection every 2 or 3 minutes. Got fed up with it....switched all ants off...and suddenly internet connection is active again.

When I fire 5 ants up... all is good... when I add a 6th ant I start loosing the connection again  Huh

Cant imagine that 7 ants with a network load of about 15kb/s is too much for a 20Mbs fire optics connection.

The engineer is coming over again on thursday... Any ideas or suggestions?

Try connecting some of them wireless.

No bro unfortunately it didn't work (although I was sure it would work). They started hashing and within a minute or 2 I lost the connection again.

Could it be a limitation of devices from you service provider?
With the Ants, how many other devices connected?

Yes, they're rubbish.  Buy a better PSU.

I will have to agree.
If you have tried to use the old fashioned way to no avail then dump the PSU and get a better one.
