3541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another miner with approximately 86TH solved a solo block on: January 25, 2022, 11:50:02 PM
How lucky they are but how many days or months do they mine that block with a reward?

I can't afford to solo mine due to the high Electricity rate compared to the other miners who mine solo with hydropower.

Maybe that users who mine solo with this hashrate have free electricity If I have the same thing I can stay solo mining.
3542  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Lost 16 psu's in one night Innosilicon T3+ on: January 25, 2022, 11:34:21 PM
It looks like a MOSFET, not a transistor check the name value and search for a datasheet or diagram to check if the gate has some resistance coming, make sure the blew MOSFET are removed, and check it directly on the board if it has shorted on the gate then the PSU is shorted.

If you are lucky and it doesn't have shorted on the gate then you can just replace them. If you can't find a datasheet for that parts you can use known working PSUs to compare them.
3543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying BTC in Canada on: January 25, 2022, 11:18:28 PM
Based on what I heard before from Canadian users like Darkstar_ you can try to check the NDAX exchange the only problem is they do not accept credit/debit cards but they have 3 other options.

Interac e-Transfer, Wire Transfer and, Bank Draft is currently what funding method do they have.
And take it seems they also required ID verification.

Here's the website https://ndax.io/
3544  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Lowest Priced Exchange For Buying and Transferring BTC on: January 25, 2022, 04:47:40 PM
This is a good strategy when you want to transfer your fund with a low-cost fee, choose another coin with a low fee into your wallet that supports multi coins, and then convert it to Bitcoin.  But this depends on the wallet that you have to use.
You don't need a wallet just directly send the coins to whatever exchange he wants. The important is the network must be the same. If you are going to use a wallet to receive them before you send them again to another exchange it would cost you more fee than directly sending it to the exchange he wants.
3545  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do Web Hosting Providers Accept BTC? on: January 25, 2022, 04:38:21 PM
I'm not sure if they've changed anything since you made this post, but I saw that "button" in the footer area [it's in a weird place (easy to miss)] and they're using two payment processors for BTCitcoin [BitPay and Blockonomics].

No there is no button on my side at the time that I made that post but right now it has a continue button and redirects to the billing page with 5 payment options including both blockonomics and bitpay.

I just don't agree about the rate it's expensive for starters they should have a promo just like on name cheap.

The privacy policy looks like it was generated from a privacy policy generator?
3546  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Lowest Priced Exchange For Buying and Transferring BTC on: January 24, 2022, 11:54:48 PM
So I'm wondering what the cheapest way would be for me to send money to each of these exchanges?

If your problem is to transfer funds to another exchange with the cheapest fee as possible you can buy other coins like XRP and send them to other exchanges.
Or you can use BTC they have other networks that ask for a very cheap fee Bep20(Binance chain) it's around 20 cents I think in USD.

But make sure before you are trying to send BTC with other networks make sure the exchange also supports Bep20(Binance Chain) this is risky if you don't know how to send with other networks always make sure they are in the same chain or network because if you sent it in a wrong network most exchanges won't able to give you a refund.
3547  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer T9+ Possible firmware issues. on: January 24, 2022, 10:56:55 PM
So your miner is hashing but you have low hashrate?

Would you mind trying to run the miner with only one hashboard I'd like to know if all hashboard is working so test the hashboard one by one, follow the guide from this link below

3548  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S9J Hashboard not showed up on: January 24, 2022, 10:40:40 PM
Without the kernel logs, we couldn't analyze what exactly your miner problem is.

Better copy the whole kernel logs and post it here and make sure to use the # button to make your thread clean or use pastebin.com and paste the URL here.
3549  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Sent BTC were not received by other party on: January 22, 2022, 11:54:49 PM
What exactly pair did you use to exchange BTC?

According to their Status page, there are some pairs that are currently disabled and maybe the pair you use is currently disabled.

Check this page https://changenow.io/status-page and look for pair status.

You should contact them if you sent it to the pair which is currently disabled and maybe you will get some refund and tell the other party if they can able to receive other crypto instead?
3550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first bitcoin purchase, how to find TXID on: January 22, 2022, 11:30:07 PM
Why are you looking for a transaction TXID?

I don't know how Coinbase works if someone buys Bitcoin with FIAT but usually to any exchange it doesn't have any TXID generated it is only credited to your account once and also if you KYC verified and the details of the bank or cards are matched with your account it will be credited.

You can only have TXID if you made a withdrawal transaction or received Bitcoin.
3551  Economy / Exchanges / Re: how to search currency exchange on: January 22, 2022, 11:16:47 PM
How did you find this website? Like the above said it's a 1-month-old site and the one thing that I notice is it only has 2 crawled backlinks. I can access the website but it seems images are a bit blurred it looks like a fake exchange.

So how did you find this website? It seems that you posted it here just to make sure to have backlinks here on the forum?
I see many new accounts here doing the same thing and few days or months they are going to edit the thread to make sure it won't look scam and don't easily notice by mods.

So can you tell us where did you find this website?

If you don't own this I suggest you edit the first post above and remove the www. because the website does not have www. under the URL when accessing the website so what you said from the first post is suspicious.
3552  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Withdrawal Confirmation and Speed on: January 21, 2022, 11:46:27 PM
All exchanges have different required deposit confirmations and the transaction speed depends on how much fee you pay and the network condition.

Like you said above FTX deposit required for BTC is 2 confirmations before it is credited to your account and I think you are confused about the transaction speed.

Withdrawal is different from the deposit if you are withdrawing from exchanges and sending them to another exchange it depends on that exchange how much confirmation they needed before it is credited to your account. Or if you are sending it to your wallet it still required confirmation before you can able to spend it.

Since you talk about the transaction speed you will need to check https://mempool.space/ for a recommended fee and it includes time estimation to be confirmed but usually, exchanges do not have options to change transaction fee they have their own default withdrawal fee so you won't be able to speed up the transaction. Like on Binance the withdrawal fee for BTC is 0.0005BTC which is pretty high and this transaction is most likely fast.

FTX has a free withdrawal fee but it's limited to 0.01BTC 1 time daily I don't know how much the transaction fee they pay.
Do you have stuck transaction from FTX withdrawal?
3553  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon 1166 interpret log to find power being used on: January 21, 2022, 11:22:02 PM
Thanks for the tip. Can you explain "aging" a bit, or point to a resource please?
Thanks -Stan

Check the manual of the FMS tool you can find it under the Canaan link above it should explain how aging works.

Based on the other users it could refresh the hashboard but I don't know exactly how it works it's like calibrating all ASIC chips of each hashboard.
3554  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon 1166 interpret log to find power being used on: January 20, 2022, 11:51:01 PM
Thanks. I tried replugging all cables = no help. Waiting on Warranty help.

Can you try to use the FMS tool and use aging to refresh the miner hashboard I heard someone here before that his issue was solved after the aging process?

Download FMS tool from https://canaan.io/service/447

Then go to diagnose and send this command

Code:
[{"command":"ascset","parameter":"0,aging-set,1"}]

Or if it doesn't work try to download this FMS tool and then instead of sending the command above use the aging button. Hope this will work.
3555  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do Web Hosting Providers Accept BTC? on: January 20, 2022, 11:19:59 PM
Web hosting provider?

Are you sure that you offering web hosting look at your whole page code it was made from WordPress with BuddyPress templates and lots of plugins?

And I tried to add a cart and continue to this page

But no other option or button to continue?

If you are the owner of this site I suggest you before you announce or share it here make sure your website is fully functional.
3556  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BHUNT Stealer Malware Targeting Crypto Wallets! on: January 20, 2022, 11:00:41 PM
Windows 10 is almost free you don't need to use KMSPico to use this OS.

I have a PC that cracked with KMSPico but it's only for my son use only to install Microsoft office for school. But tried to search that mscrlib.exet according to that link and can't able to find them even I uncheck hide system files and folder.

So maybe the infected one is if you downloaded a KMSpico from an untrusted source?
3557  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer T9+ Possible firmware issues. on: January 20, 2022, 10:45:08 PM
What exactly is the issue of your miner?
Would you mind to share the whole kernel logs here? So that we can analyze the real issue and maybe it's not related to firmware or anything.

I never heard that someone could able to dump the firmware from this miner only hex file that I heard you can able to dump from hashboard and flash it to another hashboard.

If you want other firmware not from Bitmain you can check this section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=42.40
or check these two threads that I found

- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5205533.0

Those have an advanced features that you can able to play to solve your case.
3558  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: My innosilicon T3 arrived today, the pool settings will not update, solutions? on: January 20, 2022, 01:05:10 AM
I  have the same problem with Innosilicon T2THF+ Sad , somebody can help me?

I send a email to Innosilicon but they canīt help me because i buy it on second hand

Do you mind checking the control board because there is only two control board supported to flash SD card g9 and g19 but it seems this unit is SOC version which means you won't be able to flash through SD card?

I search for almost 45 minutes just to find a solution to unlock the fixed pool settings and I think you can try this all firmware from this link below are unlocked firmware

I don't know how trust is this firmware but if Innosilicon won't able to help you it's worth trying.
3559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I keep getting calls telling me there are are few bitcoins blocked in my name. on: January 20, 2022, 12:15:17 AM
All you need to access your Bitcoins is the private key.
How do you get this key?

That's the problem you don't even know what is the private key and how do you get it.

How did you deposit on the fake company?

The first thing you will do is create a wallet am I right? And then buy Bitcoin to someone or from Exchange unless if you buy directly on exchange and transfer it to the fake company you won't get any private key or backup seed phrase if it was directly from Exchange.

Because if you are using a Bitcoin wallet like sample Electrum wallet it will generate a seed phrase that contains private keys.
That is why most of the people here talk about "Not your keys, Not your Bitcoin" it means you don't own Bitcoin without them.
3560  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon 1166 interpret log to find power being used on: January 19, 2022, 11:58:43 PM
I suggest you check the description logs from Canaan you can download them here https://canaan.io/service/447 then go to the manual tab and download the description log.

Then focus on PS logs it's related to your PSU power and it seems your logs are fine the other two hashboard is not communicating to the control board.
What I would like to suggest is to try to replug all cables between the control board and hashboard

If not, try to flash it with the latest firmware available from https://download.canaan-creative.com/
