3541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]BitcoinPlus (XBC) / MANDATORY WALLET UPDATE / BIT-ADOPTION! on: July 12, 2014, 01:03:23 PM
Marketcaps of some pure PoS coins based on Bitcoin (no NXT and it's clones):

CLAM = 14.3 million coins at 12k Satoshi = 17040 BTC
BC = 75 million coins at 1.8k Satoshi = 13500 BTC
MINT = 19.4 billion coins at 5 Satoshi = 970 BTC
SC = 43.2 million coins at 500 Satoshi = 216 BTC
XBC = 56k coins at 10k Satoshi = 56 BTC

So dump me more XBC below 10k Satoshi naaoooooo!  Grin

In addition i would like to make a new small contest. You can guess score of final match Germany - Argentina. You dont have to bet anything. Just post your address and score you guess. Lucky winner gets 15 XBC. If there are more right predictions, the price will be split between them. This way I want apologize again for the previous fail with betting system and make it up to you guys.

Argentina 1
Germany 2

Can anyone confirm staking works with the latest wallet (bitcoinplus-1.6.0-win32-setup.exe) on Win7 64-bit? I should be getting some blocks by now (3 days) but got none
so far, wallet is unlocked and it is supposedly staking.

Remember that that "estimated time" isn't really that accurate. More a relative measure of how close you're getting to finding a block, rather than a solid number.

What jiapetz said and also my first reward took about 5 days from when I started staking, but it was a big one. After that I've been receiving about 2-5 small rewards per day (almost every day).

Just to confirm it actualy works, I got my first ever XBC PoS block today! It is just "Expected time" too much off. Other PoS wallets I'm using are noticably more accurate.

Can someone explain what happened to all the XBC from the new blockchain?  From my understanding, a completely new blockchain was established and a 1:1 coin swap was initiated.  Therefore, you had to have access to all 56k XBC in order to do the coinswap.  What happened to the XBC that was not swapped over?  Is it in the current devs posession?

At http://explorer.mindfox.net/chain/BitcoinPlus column "Outstanding" you can see total number of coins is little over 56k right now, no other coins exist besides those. It is
hillarious that XBC marketcap is just around 56 BTC while exactly the same tech (pure PoS) implemented in let's say CLAM results in marketcap of over 18k BTC. I think XBC
is smart investor wet dream. Price can't be ruined much more (most if not all weak hands are already out) and there is shitload of room for growth.

Read my post again, I have added the important part everyone so far missed (damn lamers, it is no wonder so many of you end up scammed on every step).

I already addressed that in my original escrow posting, did you read that?

• After the pre-sale has ended, you will have to sign a message with the private key of the investment address you sent the Bitcoins from. This message will include your Crypti account number and allows the Crypti team to securely link your investment to your Crypti account number.

I will definitely make sure the Crypti team will implement it this way.

Correct, my mistake there.

1. I send you BTC using address for which I have a private key
2. I sign message by Crypti team using private key and reedem Crypti coins to address X
3. I complain to you that I have not received my Crypti coins to address Y

1. I send you BTC using address for which I have a private key
2. I sign message by Crypti team using private key and reedem Crypti coins to address X
3. Crypti team instead reedem coins to address Z

In above cases, you have no way to prove that either me or Crypti team cheated.

"The online issuance system will match your signature against your sending BTC address. Once matched successfully, the system will ask for your Crypti address, so it can
issue the Crypti coins.
"

https://github.com/crypti/crypti-docs/blob/master/presale.md

They would need to ask for my Crypti address before I sign a message so that message I'll sign contains address in question.

* PHASE 3: WAITING PERIOD

• After the initial coin distribution, there will be a 7 day waiting period. During this time the Crypti coin distribution can be checked and possible complaints can be filed.
I will NOT check each and every Crypti account to see whether this account received the correct amount of Crypti coins. Instead, I will use an automated tool provided by the Crypti team to get an overall look on the Crypti coin distribution. This tool is located here: http://crypti.me:11050/
• Should an investor feel that his account received the wrong amount of Crypti coins or no Crypti coins at all then he will need to contact the Crypti team as well as me.
• In case of disputes I will refer to the above distribution scheme.

Basically, you will trust a party that you were not supposed to trust? Unless you yourself look into each account how exactly will you be able to decide about anything? You are
not the one who is in control of Crypti coins so what happens if I received less or no coins but you afterwards "refer to the above distribution scheme", I'll end up without both
part of or all Crypti and all BTC?

Other than that, how will you know what is my Crypti account? As far as I can see, the only place where I'm supposed to reveal it is Crypti website and only when reedeming my
coins. So, I use one Crypti address to reedem coins and give you some other one (0 coins there) or Crypti team starts claiming I reedemed coins to address they actualy control,
how will you decide who is right? Since you don't control Crypti coins, if you trust Crypti team on the matter I might end up without both Crypti and BTC. If you trust me then it
is Crypti team that might end up without both Crypti and BTC.

The only way to do it properly is if you redeem Crypti coins or Crypti team send them to you and then you distribute them to us. In any other case either them or I can cheat
and you'd have no way to know who is cheating.

I suggest to others to make sure it is Bter who distributes Crypti coins after IPO is over, if instead you are supposed to do it over Crypti website then it is a major red flag!

I uploaded TEK v1.2 to Drive

Thanks, SHA256 hashes match, it is the same file as one I have.

The reason I asked about 43,200 confirms is because that is approximately the number of confirms in 30 days (60 * 24 * 30 = 43,200), it was not just a random number.

Exactly 43,200 confirms in 30 days is very unlikely, there will always be an offset introduced by both PoW and PoS miners.

"approximately"

True, I guess I had too much exchange Trollboxes for today.  Grin

Those places are about the best microscope available for observing abnormal psychology.

Nailed it, check one below!  Cheesy

Anyway, it would be cool if more people download and seed latest TEK wallet, I can't be online whole day and as far as I can see there are no other locations where one can
download such wallet. Wallet file is 100% legit, I have downloaded it from presstab's GitHub and been using it for few months. Just use one of magnet links below and thanks!

SC works like charm

HAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAhaha! Good one sub!

It is staking exactly as advertised (minimum coin age 12 hours) and tooltip informs (around 30 minutes on average between blocks, if stake weights change it will stay correct).

Can someone point me to where the actively maintained wallet can be downloaded?

Thanks, Jason

It was absolutely needed since most are losing a perspective here.

The perspective that an extra week's wait time may work to the coin's advantage?

Extra week in cryptoland equals an eon of time elsewhere  Cheesy  but point was what dump are you affraid of? Do some fundamentals and maybe technical analysis before posting.

As odd as it sounds, XBC probably would be better of losing this week. The reason being, there really is little infrastructure behind the coin. The way to avoid catastrophic MP dumps is give a reason for people to hold... just going from no dev team, to temp dev team, and plopping the coin onto MP will most likely lead to a massive dump. You don't even get the advantage of pre-listing hype/pump beforehand (or if you did, it already occurred) due to uncertainty of when the coin will be listed. So if you lose out this week, it's really no biggie -- might as well give the dev team time to do something.

I'll place buy order for 5.7 BTC at 0.0001 and you morons dump all XBC coins in existence, OK? You can't even fill that order in full since only 56159.137028 XBC are mined.  Cheesy
