3542  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Panahon Na Nga Ba Maging "Cashless Society" ang Pilipinas? on: June 30, 2020, 06:40:04 AM
Pababain ang rate ng mahhirap ng ma afford lahat or mostly ng smartphones to have their wallet inside their phones or any device na pwede magamit as  e-wallet.

3543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 30, 2020, 06:15:47 AM
On JR Smith signing with the Lakers, not sure if it's a good news, I'll leave that up to you guys to judge.

The Lakers has a big chance to reach in the WCF, then the Finals if they will be more successful, but they will not be facing the warriors anymore, lol.. so I think he will not messed up this time, and I also think he won't get the average minutes he is getting in Cleveland Cavaliers.

I think JR Smith will again play in the NBA with Lebron, they are friends in real life I guess so since Lebron can influence the management, he can get JR Smith. Let's give him a chance, what we see is just his mistake but he also has a lot of good contribution in the court, defensive and offensive requirement, this guy has.

So I would say in advance, welcome to LA JR Smith.

Another one out.
This time, from the Mavericks roster.

@Stadium
. Cauley-Stein and his partner are expecting a newborn child in July.

Big loss for the Mavericks, Cauley-Stein was one of my favorite players in Sacramento kings before, though he does not have a solid contribution on his current team but he will be very useful in the playoffs knowing they are an underdog team.

No negative news for good teams yet like the LA teams and the Bucks, I guess their chances in winning has increased more.
3545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Am I wrong or right share your opinion please on: June 26, 2020, 02:07:00 PM
I hope OP is serious.. I would like to know about the update of the situation, he was last active on June 22, 2020 so we are again left hanging here.
I don't want to call it as another newbie who complained then just left when the problem is solve.
3546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PAGCOR waiting for the approval to reopen land-based casinos. on: June 26, 2020, 01:45:42 PM
Talking about resuming of operation, I saw this article saying that PAGCOR already allowed POGOs to resume their operation.
Yes, they were already allowed to operate and the government are really making money from this operation, it's also a billion pesos revenue in terms of taxes.

However, those who haven't cleared their tax obligation was not granted approval to operate.  Only 11 POGOs secured their clearance to BIR and permitted of Authority to Resume Operation (ARO), while some were remain pending. It is also stated that there are 60 licensed POGO in the country yet the majority still have an issue with tax so they still can't resume their operation.

Code:
https://www.asgam.com/index.php/2020/06/22/pagcor-reveals-11-pogos-currently-cleared-to-operate-post-covid/

This is the time that the government has to be strict, we need funds for our economy and we need people who are honest with their job, they should collect what is due to them as they can use that money to fund the necessary expenses in the present time.

Another bad news for coach Tab Baldwin.

I thoughts this controversy is already over, but then.

Tab Baldwin taken out of roles at TnT KaTropa in wake of controversy

Quote
TAB Baldwin has been removed from his positions as assistant coach and consultant of TnT KaTropa in the PBA, sources told SPIN.ph on Thursday.

Baldwin's ouster came just weeks after he made controversial comments in a Coaches Unfiltered podcast wherein he lashed out at the PBA's single-import format, called its coaches 'tactically immature,' and alleged that imports are given 'rules latitude' by referees and league officials.

I feel sorry for him, it's bad for the TNT as I believe he could be a big help to the team.

I think this is too much, I haven't read the article yet but it seems like they are pushing him out in the PBA, does it mean that he might not be able to handle the Gilas Pilipinas also? if that happenned, whose lose is this?
3548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev on: June 26, 2020, 12:28:42 PM
Advantage? maybe there is but we never know, we were thinking that Manny would lose against Thurman because he is already 41 years old Thurman was 31, but at the end of the round, Manny was declared as the winner. So it could also happen in this fight, who knows.

Pulev is 39 years old and Joshua is 30 years old so age should play some part but either fighter is capable of ending the fight in the early rounds. The longer the fight goes on the more the odds probably favour Joshua.

Tyson Fury Won against Deontay Wilder and put a record of lost in his career, Anthony Joshua should have taken Tyson Fury as his next opponent but Kubrat Pulev is a mandatory opponent for him, but if this goes well for Joshua I think that will be the next fight for him to take,

Apparently even though Kubrat Pulev had a good record in his career with only one lost to Wladimir Klitschko I think his 28 wins is nothing to Joshua's 23 wins over his career at the age of only 30, he is pulling out something like this, So I think their Age, in my opinion, may have an impact to Kubrat Pulev.
3549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]Robeisy Ramirez vs Adan Gonzales on: June 26, 2020, 12:15:24 PM
If only one of them is Filipino, then I might watch and bet on this fight even if I'm not familiar with them.
Honestly, I don't know these boxers, so I guess I have to skip betting on this fight, I'm looking for a casimero fight and other Filipino boxers if there is.

One reason why i created a thread about this fight, it is because there is a Filipino boxer that will fight in this card. If you wanna bet on him like me, let's wait for the odds of the fight, i think Bernaldez will be the underdog in this fight. If the odds is good then we should go for it.

Wow, that would be nice, I will still bet on our kabayan though I don't like the the headline  which says he will shock his opponent, it doesn't look humble, I like a Manny's style as he is very humble.

I'll check on bernaldez and maybe I can see some of his highlights in youtube.

Thanks for sharing and please don't forget to share the odds if it's already available.
3550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "NEW NORMAL" Betting on: June 26, 2020, 11:57:01 AM
The certainty of the vaccine is still gray.. we can't wait until the vaccine is found in order to start a sports match.  I see some countries have relaxed "LOCKDOWN" because it is no longer effective and submitted "NEW NORMAL".  I read that the English league will start again, this is the best news;

Quote

billions of dollars have been lost (betting, broadcasting rights, tickets, and merchandises) because sporting events have been postponed waiting for vaccines to appear. sports matches without spectators must be done (to support "NEW NORMAL" & and slow the spread of COVID-19)..

I was very bored watching the old football match and then repeated so on and so on sports TV stations Cheesy.  so that the "stay at home" program is effective, entertainment (sports matches) must be continued..

At least Thailand announced that their Vaccine would be ready early next year according to this article

https://newsinfo.inquirer.net/1297441/thailands-covid-19-vaccine-could-be-ready-by-early-next-year

This means we are waiting for something real now and if this comes true then Gambling will completely
back to normal and people will be live like normal again.

I missed watching our local Basketball Live in which i love to Bet against my office mates and even
some real and crypto friends .

So Hopeful that this Thailand News will come sooner at least this end of the year.

That's good to hear as vaccine is the only solution to our problem.
Although it's a long wait but at least we have something to wait and although it's just announce in Thailand but for sure, other countries can benefit this.
3551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Orlando Gonzalez-Ruiz vs Luis Porozo on: June 25, 2020, 11:33:54 PM
He certainly knows what he is doing, he would not just throw that big money if he is not confident with that bet, but of course anything could go wrong as in boxing or even in other sports, upset happens. However, with that 6.4% return of bet, I think it's almost a win as Ruiz is the heavy favorites.

If we don't have enough bankroll, and we like to aim for a bigger return, then probably betting the opposite is what we will do.

It's just so fun to watch Romeo showing its best, hopefully more playing time for him and he can lead the team this conference.

Also, I'm expecting some consistency from Tautuaa  Grin

We can see how dominant still the SMB even without JMF as they beat the Magnolia which is one of the best teams in the current conference.
ROMEO and Tautuaa had a good game in this opening game.

Alaska success: More from Cone than anything, says Banal

Who agrees with him? personally I became a fan of the Alaska Aces it was already coach Tim Cone who coaches the team.

Tim cone for me a definition of a good team he can transform a team to become a good team, just like what he did with the Ginebra Kings.
3553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum's biggest contender? on: June 25, 2020, 10:38:44 PM
ethereum biggest contender is binance coin.. bnb has a big potential as well as those in the top 10 list.. but the thing about this ethereum even though there are a lot of coins out there it seems that eth is so popular..

How exactly you think they are in competition with each other? BNB was build to be a DEX while ETH is doing so much more then that.
Considering the growth of Binance in the past years, this can still be a potential contender on a top 2 position despite of their differences. ETH is still better than any smart contracts as of today and the hype to beat ETH was gone, this is why ETH is still on top. Well, no matter what kind of technology that you have in this market as long as there is growth and demand, you can be the contender and there’s a chance for that coin/token to be on top of altcoins, who knows!

If we will rate based on the ranking then BNB has a good chance because it also has a big community, trusted by people and they are using it on a daily basis, in fact a lot of good news about Binance this year already, so we can expect more in the future and their ranking will just rise.

ETH and BNB might have a different platform but we can't deny that as of the moment, these two are the hottest in the altcoins market, but in terms of performance in the past years particularly after the correction, BNB won the battle.
3554  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Earning From Digital Ads Will Be Taxed (e.g., Signature Campaign) on: June 25, 2020, 10:21:33 PM
Nice discussion we got here, di ko alam may accountants and lawyers pala dito, tama ba ako? hehe..

3555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possibleTrump Will Prohibit Bitcoin? on: June 25, 2020, 09:28:26 AM
There's a possibility as Trump is a person who is very unpredictable, but its nature is like the nature of bitcoin so I don't want to think that one day he will make a decision to ban bitcoin in his country. USA is the biggest country or one of the biggest and they have many allied countries, so USA banning bitcoin might lead to a domino effect that we don't want to witness.

In short, bad for cryptcurrency market.
3556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PAGCOR waiting for the approval to reopen land-based casinos. on: June 25, 2020, 09:13:01 AM
One of the main concerns is the jobs for the people who are working in the casinos do not lose it because of the lockdown or less people will visit casinos now if they are open.
If based on that statement, I think we also have to consider that if less people are going in a casino, the number workers has to also reduce, that's balancing the income and expense.

And hopefully they will get the salary for the time it was lockdown and casinos were shut . Considering the cases are just rising hope people even if go to casinos if they are open do follow the proper guidelines .

This one, it depends on the policy of the company, but since this is a government entity, I think they will be more transparent and law compliant.

3559  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Earning From Digital Ads Will Be Taxed (e.g., Signature Campaign) on: June 24, 2020, 11:31:53 PM
If there will be a survey conducted by our local governments regarding on what type of jobs we do to earn and request to give tax unto them then I will not evade it and comply with the law, our economy suffers to much and our government need help to function well or revive the economy. This is our simple help so that we will not suffer for economic loss of our country.

3560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 23, 2020, 11:44:29 PM
So, for Denver and Dallas to be at west finals you have to eliminate Lakers, eliminate clipplers, eliminate Utah and eliminate Rockets. You are expecting awfully a lot from one team that never been to playoffs together and another that is basically 2-3 years in playoff adventure versus teams with multiple championship fmvp players.

That's it, but no one sees the future, based on the betting odds we can clearly see how tiny the chance of these two teams to be an NBA champion or to be playing in the West Finals at least, it's always known to us as the odds are their, but it doesn't mean it's impossible and though you call this as a dream, still I'd like to see it happening.

WHO KNOWS MY FRIEND> Grin

Nothing is impossible in NBA. If we're talking about teams who has a very tiny chances to play in the NBA finals, remember that one major injury could change the outcome. Look at what happened to the GSW the last time they played the Raptors? They lost Durant and Klay due to a devastating and career threatening injury.
That guy above got some point, but the possibility for the young Mavs are always there.

God forbid that injury, it's not fun to watch games when some players are injured, as much as possible we would like to see teams that are intact so they can give their best to compete for the championship. Mavericks are a young team, but they always have a chance. I understand that we might be bias so let's just consider our opinion as bias opinion.

Way back in 2011, it happened that the number 1 seed was eliminated by the number 8 seed team, this would tell us that nothing is impossible.

Memphis Grizzlies eliminate No. 1-seeded San Antonio Spurs | NBA playoffs

Maybe that time people are thinking that Memphis has no chance since Spurs are a pretty good team that time, but it happened.
