3541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 03, 2020, 10:47:23 AM
NBA games are very unpredictable now, Rockets which are playing a pretty impressive games lose against the Knicks which is a bad team.

I can't believe it, they are beating good teams but they lose in a bad team, was it due to a fatigue or something? I notice Harden was too reliant in his 3 point shooting but he has a poor percentage made in this game.
This happens usually.

We tend to believe that a team is superior than the other one but at the end sometimes unexpected things happen. So whenever you're betting with games like this, always think about of all possibility and outside the box that situations like this might come.

Or in short, bet against the public, in gambling terms that is very effective and the game between the Rockets and Knicks, the money was on the Rockets since they have been winning with huge margin in weaker teams. This site - https://www.actionnetwork.com/nba/public-betting is useful to know which team is a public bet.

Is there any recent updates for the Humaniq project? hopefully, new people can join and spread Humaniq.

Tracking this project for new updates and see when it will be more active, rather here or at telegram?

The humaniq profile at Reddit is with only 2 posts and no followers.

Do not put your hope i  this long time dead project: the tweet something from time to time but you can see by yourself there is no community engagement even there. Seems like just a delaying tactic to keep things quiet.

Most of the old projects are now quite, we don't know what's happening behind the scene but if you have bought and still holding HMQ like me, you would not think negative, instead you just let it go and just wait until the altcoins season arrive and then make a decision.
3543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 02, 2020, 01:52:40 PM
Mostly I would bet for the Bucks, but this one will surely be a difficult game for them.

As what they are showing this season, there is no such game that is difficult for them to be honest.
Miami Hat has been so inconsistent lately, so it might be good to take a shot and trust the more consistent team even they are the road team.

There's no big difference per record actually, Heat have a good record at home, but Bucks also has an impressive road record.

Bucks - Road record -  (25-5 )

Heat -  Home record -  (25-4)

I only care about the quality of the project, and also I am quite interested in their budget. If their project is good, I will immediately participate and do not care about the time of the campaign. Today it is very difficult to find good campaigns, most campaigns are now shit and the campaign lasts about 3-6 months.
3-6 months? I think that is quite long to wait, but its depending on you if you are really interested, beside most bounty campaigns does not require a lot of effort, if you join a signature campaign and you have to constantly post in 6 months, I think you will be bored, that's why I only prefer joining btc campaign that pays in BTC, and I think some are doing the same.
3545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worthy Airdrops on: March 02, 2020, 01:06:32 PM
For those people who are earning big time in the last bull run, this kind of airdrop is small and they might not be interested, but for me, as long as it's free its always worthy. Honestly, I haven't been actively following some airdrop now but I'll check the airdrop you shared here.
3546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to survive if you lose more than 80% of your Capital? on: March 01, 2020, 11:17:55 PM
use the remaining 20% to turn things around. if yesterday had lost 80% of total capital, then we have gained experience or at least the current market trends. then what we have to do is create our own momentum by analyzing how the trend before that, then we determine whether all crypto in the market experience the same thing or not? if so, then the chances of us getting profit in the near future are slim. so, if it's not possible to re-enter the crypto market, then use the remaining 20% for others.
That's too complicated for non experience traders, it will take a lot of knowledge to grow the remaining amount to get back your initial capital.
Some of us would hold for long term here, so that means we should wait at the right timing to sell, those coins we hold even if they are down at 80% does not mean they don't have a future or they will not bounce back anymore, look at ETH, it's down big time but people are still betting on its future.
3547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: March 01, 2020, 11:04:14 PM
An easy example would be sportsbetting, if you even follow a free prediction, you are likely to get good profit on long run. But rather than doing that, we bet crazy on the team we like.
I would like to disagree with it because it's not true, free prediction are not carefully analyze and therefore a gambler might lose in the long run.
As a gambler, we need to trust ourselves only if we want to survive in the long run, there is no such thing as free tips or bets that would give success in the long run.
3548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Leave gambling, if it destroys you. on: March 01, 2020, 02:07:52 PM
I admit that leaving gambling is not as easy as imagined. Several times I tried to leave gambling but always wanted to come back again.
Indeed gambling makes us addicted, it's a fact that cannot be denied. We must have a strong desire in ourselves to be able leave gambling.
And also must be accompanied by increasing our activities in the real world, so our minds can be distracted from the world gambling.

I also decided or try to leave gambling but I can't do that and after several  months I started again gambling and on my first day I try to control my self and  until now I control my self and Im happy to came back again in gambling.

For sure many times of people who try to stop gambling but they come back if you are that person you can minimize and control and gambling will not destroy your life.

It's okay to come back as long as you are already in control, besides why would we stay away on something that could give us some enjoyment, for some gambling is bad because it could result to addiction but for us who had experience it would always say that it is not as long as we are a responsible gambler. It's not only you who experience addiction, there are many of us but what's important is we learn from our mistakes and start doing the right thing.
3549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: March 01, 2020, 01:46:57 PM
Anyone here have tried this? What can you recommend?

Never borrow money and use it for gambling no matter how you trust your gambling skill.  Gambling is treacherous, when you think that you are super lucky and unbeatable, it will crush you into pieces emptying your bankroll.

I have seen lots of friends become enemies because of unpaid debt.  I am not saying you cannot pay it but it is best not to exploit a friend's generosity and use it for gambling.
I do agree, it will only become a big problem if that money will be lost during gambling. Aside from that, it will be hard to pay a debt that was used to gamble,

That's right, there are so many histories of people losing their friend because of the same reason. It is better not to try this out to avoid unnecessary things to happen.

That would be very irresponsible if we will not pay our loan because we lose in gambling.
If the lender are well aware of the purpose and he still lend out money, that means he trust a person and he believes that person would be able to pay.

There was actually a saying that better not borrow to a friend or a family member to avoid relationship problem but this is only applicable to people who take advantage on the situation, and if we borrow, we don't have to pay right away, we can request to amortize it over a period of time so it will not be burdensome for us.
3550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Chain or Binance DEX hype is gone! on: February 29, 2020, 11:58:09 PM
Most decentralized exchanges are losing the battle to the centralized ones and Binance DEx cannot be exceptional. Until we have a project that has DEX as one of its product that offers the building of smart contracts on top of its blockchain, ETH might keep on dominating the space
We are talking of DEX here and as we can see, some ETH decentralized exchanges don't have enough volume anymore.
Etherdelta is dead I guess while IDEX has a small volume now, only $400K+ per https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/idex/, while Binance DEX now has $600K+.
3551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins listed on Binance through the community coin vote show 24% price decrease on: February 29, 2020, 11:42:30 PM
I am not aware of the clear picture of all the coins listed, but based on what I notice, when PundiX was listed in Binance through community voting, it dump really hard and it seems like it will die in Binance. IIRC, I read an article before that Binance is responsible for pumping the coin listed that pays them so the hype started and big traders followed the hype, for free, there is no money involved so Binance can't help that.
3552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: February 29, 2020, 02:02:36 PM
Welcome back @stadus... the match up that you pick seems both teams have 50/50 chance of winning, I am not sure there's a value on it, as a gambler it could be just choosing which team do you like to win, nothing else, and with that I am not tailing this one.

I get what how you see the match up but I will stick with what I think is right, and I saw some value on the Celtics also, at HOME.
They beat the Clippers, so I will not doubt about their capability on beating any good teams.

Well, if that is what you are seeing, I wish you good luck, thank you for taking time to share your picks but there are games that I am not attractive especially the spread is very small, like I said this is like a 50/50 game as although the Celtics are doing great at home, Rockets has also been so hot lately and they will miss Walker here which is a big contributor.
3553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: February 29, 2020, 01:19:25 PM
I'm back with my pick again.
I Like Rockets vs Boston, and I would pick Boston here to win @-1.5... I don't know but I think I have become a Rockets hater since they traded Capela. lol.

Welcome back!  Smiley

I have checked the games for today and I'm in for Cleveland Cavaliers vs Indiana Pacers, Cleveland cavaliers have indeed improved under Bickerstaff with 3 - 1, If I'm not mistaken and one of those win was against 76ers, However, I'm backing Pacers here on the road as they've also got a great streak going on.

My Pick:

Indiana Pacers -6

Two win streak both at home, I could back them at home but I have doubt when they are playing on the road as they are not really a good team on the road. However, playing against the Cavaliers, I think they'll have a solid chance of covering the spread if they beat the Cavaliers, yes the Cavaliers won against the Sixers, but Embiid was injured that time if I am not mistaken .
3554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🔥 LUNYR 🔥 Decentralized World Knowledge Base on Ethereum / OPEN BETA 🚀 on: February 29, 2020, 01:01:58 PM
If somebody can contact Arnold Pham, the CEO of Lunyr. He also stopped communicating online in 2018.  Binance daily trading volume is down to $68,000. I always wonder who is trading this. Other "abandoned" projects have almost zero trading volume. But this one still has some.
Its volume in Binance is pretty bad right now, as of this writing, its trading volume is only over $30K, while they have over $3 million trading volume in Bilaxy, that was a good volume actually in overall, but can we trust this exchange that they are not faking the volume?

So many games I would have love to pick from, but the lines are just too ridiculous in my opinion, It might be worth it to take some of the upsets available tonight.

After analyzing most of the games, I've decide to go with Miami Heat vs Dallas Mavericks
What could be worse than losing to Timberwolves while playing in your home court, It couldn't have been any worse for Heat, I'm convinced they'd bounce back against Mavs who are likely to be without Luka Doncic.

My Pick:

Miami Heat -2.5

I am riding on your pick, Heat is outstanding at home and I believe they can take care of the business here.

Just for people's information : Adebayo will not play. https://heatnation.com/team-news/miami-heat-bam-adebayo-listed-probable-mavericks/
while Doncic's is good to go,.. another good challenge by the heat here, just -2.5 at home, that's a great odds.
3557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ★ SUR ★ Token As A Pledge for Suretly on: February 28, 2020, 12:47:33 PM
No the price of SUR returned to original price. I think that it was just market manipulations.
Are you part of the team or an investor?

I like your spirit that you still believe it will return to its original price.
If I am not mistaken, even during the bull run, it has not return to its original price, how much more that we are not in a bull run now.
3558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to survive if you lose more than 80% of your Capital? on: February 28, 2020, 12:33:44 PM
There is other way but to just hold it, you are not alone with that problem, I also have a lot of coins which only holds 10% of its value and they have become a shitcoins in my wallet now. However, it's not wise to just dump it and access that I lose, I am still optimistic that it will rise in the long run so I'll hold it no matter what.

Also, you need to continue monitoring the project so you'll get an updated information, and as long as its not dead on development, you'll remain optimistic despite the struggle.
3559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: February 28, 2020, 12:14:34 PM
looking for some bet to tail here.

Tail my pick.  Grin

We have a lot of upcoming games, I'm thinking if I could find a good combination for parlay.

For non parlay bet, the game that I like to bet are the game between the Clippers and the Nuggets.
Nuggets are given +5.5 here by the fully healthy clippers (yes, no injured player listed).

my bet here would go for the Nuggets @+5.5 and ML.
3560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For those who wears a signature of gamble service campaigns on: February 25, 2020, 02:54:00 PM
I did it a few times but I don't think that it is worth it,
Just imagine you've work for a whole week for that money and you would just spend it for a short time in gambling.
You would risk your 1 week of work for what?
It would be different if you don't consider what you are doing as working, let's say you just enjoy to be in the forum and with your participation you receive a reward and I think you will not treat that as your hard earned money so it's not hard to spend it.

I understand your situation, everyone of us might have a different situation in life.
