Good post, thanks. The background infrastructure one of the best, but it still too volatile. (At this moment I keep my investments in BTB, NVC, and a little in BTG.)

It's easy. Just give up all your libertarian principles, be a part of the system and voila the govt will "help" you ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) .

Agree with jaywaka2713. The main issue with BTC is still the limited real word economical background. Hopefully this will change soon, but until then gambling sites, SR and Atlantis are the most handy places to spend BTC.

In short term I agree with ohiwastedmylif (except the downtrend to 0). It will be a roller-coaster for a while.

Agree. Offline wallets could be a great tool for promoting the usefulness of BTC and could help achieve a wider acceptance (as it looks similar to a well known bank note) so I think it's important to keep trolls away.

"Yes we can" ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) "-MMM MMMcoin - Dead coin by notorious scamer SPMavrodi, named "yes we can" "my mozem mnogoye"" Well this is a stylish motto, and a nice parallelism between Obama and Mavrodi... and... and the coin?!? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

NVC had a "interesting" start.
Firstly, let me state that I have good communication with the dev via the forums and have found him extremely helpful, my opinion is biased because of this but please consider the following:
* I do believe nvc started as a russian coin that simply lagged in the english announcement due to a poor launch (we have all seen them). There was not any hiding the launch, it simply was not mentioned outside of the russian forums for 1 week.
* Despite constant trolling the the dev hung around and answered questions tirelessly, no mean feat imho.
* The large amount of nvc handed over to btc-e was for (imho) creating early PoS to strengthen the network in hands other than that of the dev.
* The aforementioned coins were destroyed by sending them to a irredeemable address (coin eater/ no valid priv key) by btc-e after the forums kicked up a fuss.
* I think PoS is very cool, while it has its detractors I think it is an idea worth pursing until perfected hence our support of PPC and NVC.
This is why I voted for NVC as a reputable alt, so you don't need to persuade me ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) .

Anyone here from China? I'd be happy to hear their opinion.

Isn't Novacoin the one with that was a giant pump 'n dump?
Which one wasn't a big pump and dump ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ? NVC at least kept a relative good value and the dev didn't disappeared after the first month.

Maybe you can add Terracoin to the list. It's OK since the dev have fixed the difficulty adjustment issues. Novacoin also a decent one with a good value.

I'm trading everything if there is a nice big gap between buy and sell orders + the given coin is actively traded.

Open a sort of official pool for people to mine on and "rent" their hashrate, i.e. pay them in TDC. An advertising site, sell and buy ads for TDC. If no current exchange will accept the coin due to it's fully premined concept, open an official one like mcxnow.

Agree a TDC based PPC or PPV site would be a good idea.
