3541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you Considered a Career in Betting Consultancy? on: June 14, 2022, 02:36:52 PM
That will not be taken as career (despite money made from it by operators), although because of the development around the world many businesses are springing up and of course people are needed to take charge in them and take up responsibility and providing solution. If this is to be seen as career job , well it may but for what I know about gambling, it is with feeling of losses and profit non is guarantee while career is suppose to profer lasting and direct solution.
3542  Economy / Speculation / Re: $13,000 is quite possible this week on: June 14, 2022, 12:22:23 PM
But let's hope bitcoin doesn't drop below $20k and can stay at the current price and even bounce back up again so that it can be profitable for us.

When there is an ongoing trend it is difficult for a total change to happen but only a little can happen with time while trend is continuing. I think for the prediction of this year's price that we are still feeling the move, it may drop even more that we don't expect. The chart from CMC is showing a trend not going to change anytime in a rush.
3543  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid omicron version 2.0 monkeypox coming and markets on: June 14, 2022, 11:23:03 AM

So i welcome the moneypox im not scared becouse i know its good for the markets.

I wish that you will answer this question. I can't think of how diseases can be better for the market really. Except you thinking of bear being that it make shade off market volume and bring volatility because of panic but generally it is not one of the factors that should be good for the market. Bear market is not usually a better story for hodlers except for traders.
3544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High odds or low odds, which do you prefer? on: June 14, 2022, 09:41:11 AM
I go for high odds, but I was not that experienced and I lost a lot.

When I bet, I do that with soccer and I eye high odds.
Betting on high odds is profitable if you follow the rules of not being greedy. The simple rule is to bet fewer games or possibly just one game. This gives a higher chance of winning after all is just that one game you are looking out for. I shared an example of a single game someone bet with large amount on Real Madrid against Liverpool Here

I gained experience but I preferred to gamble on low odds. Only what this led me to is to play more and I noticed losses too. This is just a means someone can also become addicted because low odds will only want you to accumulate and bet more. If you bet more frequently than usual, regardless of the odd, be it high or low, loss is inevitable, it is guaranteed.

This is shows low odds are not guarantee, yes it is not. Like you said it will get you playing often times and replying same slip after you lost some games. This is worst when you are doing your booking on line from your phone  Grin The hopes will be high that you will get it right but no you won't because a lot of games in one slip limit the winning chances.

I play less often unlike before, I reduced the money I am using to bet, emotions gone and I win than before.

Playing lesser times can make you think better with good research. It puts the emotion in order

How about you people, are you high odd punter or low odd. Can you also tell us your experience?

Yes years back I have taken high odds and won. One time I remember I took off as high as 38 odds and amidst fear, I was lucky to win but I bet with small amount, about $.06 in naira (yes amidst fear   Angry)

At you losing or you make profit from the odds you are taking?

There is no guarantee whatever the odd. Gambling is luck base but high odds are preferable.
3545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: June 13, 2022, 06:42:14 PM
It affects gamblers alot because hodlings in cryptocurrency also gets short or reduced from the bear. It mostly will discourage those newbie gamblers that want to try gambling in crypto, they may stay with fiat. For the addicts it will reduce how many times they can gamble because when they have low refill, they have no option than to reduce or source for more coins. Bear market effect like we have it today do have effect on every aspect of crypto business. The casinos also will record low volume of gamble.

Their motive is to play gamble and they may not be a concerned if the price of bitcoin is declining sharply?

When they don't get winnings and the crypto bear is telling on the refill then the motive will definitely change to reconsideration and reduced outcome of gambling time.
3546  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed rate hike could be just temporary and shake off the weak hands on: June 13, 2022, 05:48:43 PM
Whichever way that we want to look at the fed rate hike to the banks this year is going to have harsh effect on the poor and rural people. The rate that was increased from somewhere around 0.75% - 1% to 3.25% and 3.5% will come down on small business people. Yes weak hands will likely sell off for other needs. It tells on the economy when businesses don't get required funds to grow.
3547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Depression Starts in Cryptocurrency Anytime on: June 13, 2022, 04:42:37 PM
Why Depression Starts in Cryptocurrency Anytime..

According to scientific research, about 4% of the population suffers from depression. But I am sure that this figure is much higher among traders, especially in a bear market. It is during a bear market that any desire to trade disappears if you have not sold your coins at a higher price in a timely manner.

The reason is that greed is very much why this happens. Some people believe profit is easy and they increase the risk that they take so they keep losing. Trading is not for everyone but everyone wants to do trading whether it is clear or not. It is not given to everyone to understand so you have traders that don't know nothing but they don't want to only hodl but they throw in money for trading and they lose. Learning is important for those who want to go into trading otherwise you hodl your coin in your wallet and expect a rise.
3548  Economy / Economics / Re: From Sideways to Downhill on: June 13, 2022, 11:46:17 AM
This day have really brought bitcoin price down with continuous fall in price from the today's opening at $27,342 and now down to $23,543. This has dropped almost $4,000 from yesterday close. It could be fulfilling the continuous downward prediction for the trend. This doesn't look good for the cryptocurrency because more altcoins are going down with this development as there will be panic sell soon after today.
3549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 13, 2022, 09:39:26 AM
Casino is out to make money and this is because it is a profit making outfit. It is therefore someone business. The odds is against the bettor and that makes the gambler to rely on luck this is so true about casino or game houses. Gambling has a winning spirit that doesn't allow you to go because you have won, you want to try again. Not just because human beings are greedy but because it is gamble. There are gambling that is not strictly based on luck that you can do analysis on example in soccer. Soccer is more realistic gambling to do. Like the final of champions league that was just concluded in favour of Real Madrid against Liverpool ending 1:0 , it was predicted in favour of Madrid and it happened. Someone that I know had $1,667 bet for Madrid to win and $5,834 was won. Soccer is more easier than many other games depending strictly on luck.
3550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a gem hunter? on: June 12, 2022, 11:04:53 PM
It is more like it is going to be pump coin and after awhile it gets abandoned to fall out of the market. It is not yet in the market and so it popularity is yet to be tasted. It looks like sometimes if I could remember a token called dogdata or something but I'm sure it has dog as the name, it had a bounty hunting two years back but I don't remember if they distributed tokens to hunters or not, or exited. I checked on CMC now, is not there. Such names associated with domestic animals have been heard and they are just memecoins.
3551  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: June 12, 2022, 10:21:14 PM

To be honest both Atiku and Tinubu are educated, sane, with wealth of experience. But de matta be say no be dem Nigerians want this time around.

My broda e be like say you never sabi these two men. Them no want go there to work but to embezzle. Like for Atiku now, you sabi how many years wey him don dey run for election wey him don fail? And you sabi say Nigerian election na money so him don waste money waste enough money and na to pack am back him dey come for. To God these two people na wrong thing for Nigeria if them ever become president. You sabi say Atiku dey part of the hallibuton scander for America wey make them be no want see him leg for there? Tinubu no well as we all know and him too corrupt and him pack Lagos money. Although Nigerian politicians na ole but Peter Obi dey a little different from their ways. And which experience wey dem get wey Peter Obi no get as formal governor that has led his personal business well.
3552  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: June 12, 2022, 08:14:53 PM
If you dey do anything, just espect the worst and always as you dey hope for the best. Frankly, Tinubu and Atiku no wan gree, but anything weh ornah dey do, make ornah no forget say, somebody hand dey responsible for the death and killings of lekki tole gate. Asides that one, if we no reset the nation, e go try before e go better, I hope the best to change the country gets into the position.
But I e no work wetin go be the plan B ? Make we dey set up plans ahead! I dey talk like say the full youth's for the 9ja dey see am.
Make we try vote ohh, so we no go be prey to these predators.

I don talk am be4 say imagine if all labour union vote, youths like that vote for peter obi, wetin remain wey no be sworing in . Peter Obi sense dey ground and the guy get better record regarding to finance wen him be Anambra chairmo. Make them no rig the election na that one be the major thing becos these two guys wey him dey contest with na killer riggers. Make we dey tell youths to go get PVC and vote for labour party. PDP and APC na same blood dey inside the two.
3553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Its One Too Many on: June 12, 2022, 04:39:51 PM

Yes, one legit accusation is too many to be ignored.

Yes it is enough to call a black sheep what it is. If a casino has scammed once with proof and they keep denying it, they are likely to scam more unsuspecting player.

The solution is that except that they repent with proof , when someone is not repenting of a bad behavior they are likely to continue doing that at a little opportunity. In regards to feedback, except the casino redeem the image through paying the winning sum to the complaint, with apology and the complaint either comes public to the thread to announce the resolution and gives a positive feedback, then all other positive feedback backs amounts to nothing because there is no justice. Injustice done to one is Injustice done to all.
3554  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you know how to trust online sportsbooks? on: June 12, 2022, 03:57:23 PM
The thing with paid reviews is that even if the site doesn't tell you to specifically write only nice things about them, the person getting paid feels a certain gratitude and obligation to do that anyway. That's why most reviews are positive and focus on the good things.
Your point is crystal clear and that is same thing I believe. Once a review is paid, there is every tendency that the result would be influenced. Even if the company asked you to be neutral, the reviewer would tend to take side with the company.
The money paid for review is indirectly point out the good and at worse scenario, ignore the bad.

While these can be said about the majority of the paid reviews, a few might be different. For instance,  _livecasino.io_ paid review for deposit and withdrawals. Though that review was paid, but there was absolutely nothing bad to say about the company's deposit and withdrawal system.

Base on this response is sure that reviews can be manipulated by the company in business throwing out money to writers. I therefore think that this aspect of verification is compromised.

A forum member has the opportunity to stay with the forum and do what members are doing by playing with many of the casinos around. Users here follow reputable companies and they don't hesitate to open up scam accusation on suspicion. So staying here and playing with known companies is a way to stay safe.
3555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to binance if found guilty on: June 11, 2022, 05:32:27 PM
This better don't go against binance because if it does, it will dump bnb like the luna case. This is a big challenge going on for the CEO. I'm sure with this heat, the twitter deal with Elon musk will take the backstage for now because an African and Nigerian proverb says you don't chase rat when your house is on fire.
3556  Other / Politics & Society / Politics and Investment on: June 11, 2022, 01:48:43 PM
For a long time, I understand and can explain politics by a simple definition as a means of sharing scarce resources and I think this explanation in humility and honesty is not far from what politics is. At every point, you need some constituent that either elect or receive something for a larger or smaller group, this is the light of means of sharing scarce resources amidst dialogue, compromise (including bribery), lobby and other terms to arrive at the point to share, represent or and receive. In other words, some people called politicians (That is the actors of politics) have not done any other tangible or known jobs that is not "politicking". To those actors politics is seen as investment that they do and they stake out money like gambling or trading with the hope to get more in return and they would do anything to ensure that money staked , "invested" does not go without a return. Typical idea of investment.

I don't know if in other countinent of the world whether the above view of politics is same there but this is typical of modern day African politics with Nigeria as an example. The Nigerian political system is saturated with deep pockets politics and money bags parading in corridor of power. This is the reason that a ruling political party president form for indication of interest to run as candidate of the party is sold for #100,000,000, equivalent of $167,000. The form was bought by 23 candidates. I guess you can do the mathematical calculation to know how much that accrues to. Further to it, out of the 23 that bought the form , 10 were screened out of the contest (of course the money is non refundable).

Consequently, 13 candidates were approved for the contest but at the eve of the primaries, the need to step down interest to run arose and there began the intrigues of politics, the bribes, the lobby and promises and cajoling to outsmart some with money in return for form bought and appointments in future. This is the situation of Nigerian politics and the just concluded party primaries heading for the election in 2023.

The question is with these kind of situation of deep pocket politics where people see it as investment to indicate interest in purchase of forms and later stepping down to get an additional benefit like an investment, what do you think ?

3558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet on: June 10, 2022, 03:17:03 PM
I'd like to place a big bet of 50-100k, else done something like this?

feel free to message me or comment below  Smiley

This is my message to you. This amount you want to borrow on loan is too much to throw into a betting game. Remember it is not a guarantee that the money used in gambling will come back in winning to you. You may see the game like a banker but it outcome is not sure. Take a deep breath even if you an addict, don't throw such huge amount into gamble whose chances of winning is not in your hands but just a lucky tried.

3560  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: June 10, 2022, 10:34:32 AM
See as them shame Rotimi Amaechi for the meeting. I think say Buhari for manipulate one or two make Amaechi fit acheive something even if na VP.

Amaechi still try get 316 votes as second runner up and osinbajo with 235 votes. Amaechi try, wetin we go talk about the formal governor of Imo State wey be Rochas okorocha, him no even get 1 vote and that na big shame for him. Buhari no support Tinubu, his support is either with the Senate president, lawal but consensus no work.
How Rochas Okorocha won take get vote when efcc don carry him matter for head. Amaechi and Wike na senior men for collecting second place. Them try Sha na their place of birth dey fight against them. No matter how Amaechi and Wike dress like hausa to please the North them no go still accept them as one of their own.

Them eyes never still clear say North no want make South East enter there because of deir fear say make them no go break out. The two big parties suppose zone their ticket to South East but nope Dem no do am. APC wey try zone am to South self leave am open to South East, south and west. Them sabi say Tinubu go pick the ticket because almost all the south west candidate na Tinubu boy, na im make buhari want carry him hand choose concensus candidate as lawal. Anyway, for wike and  Amaechi them still dey lobby for VP from both parties. These people dey show us say without politics Dem no fit do another business. In fact, politics na their investment.

It remains to be seen wetin go shele. But tinubu clout is a big huge one

My brother on a good day people no like Tinubu. Him fit be jagaban for west but Nigerians no like him. I believe say that toll get killings go come against him and people go begin do campaign against him

Na big wahala my brother, tinubu campaign slogan will be based on tribal and normal normal e get massive followership before.

The wahala don already deh burst self when time never reach. You see wetin happen yesterday for Alaba International market weh deh for Lagos as traders closed shops so that them go fit go do their PVC registration. But them reach the registration centre na so area boys begin drive them with dangerous weapons so that them no go register. Those weh send those agbero to destabilise them believe say those traders na Igbo people. Tinubu becoming president na to increase agbero for this country o. We deh wahala.

Na the thing be that na. People no want stay house na and not vote. Them don see say these two candidates from PDP and APC na to push Nigeria inside well the more.

Them want to try Peter Obi who is the best out of them. Make we get our PVC with the electoral law and if them allow vote to count, Peter Obi go surprise them. Just imagine all Unions under labour, students and youths vote for peter obi.

Lol

Make Obi sharp sharp begin use big artists campaign as soon as campaign begin, that will help.
