3561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GNT] Golem Project - The world’s most powerful supercomputer on: March 30, 2018, 11:14:10 PM
It's tough to see such a promising token keep decreasing in value as crypto market continues to slowly tank.
We've watched this coin lose almost 80% of it's value (when it was worth $1) so as much as I hate to say it, this might be another solid time for an entry point.
Very hesitant to spend my BTC or ETH but of all the projects, this is the one that I still remain a firm believer in.
3562  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: March 30, 2018, 11:11:07 PM
BTC has been a long-time conqueror of gold.   It has more uses, it's techy, and to be honest it's pretty cool to be able to say that you own some.
Especially, since many new people are entering the crypto space every day.
3563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale for win, my own experience on: March 30, 2018, 11:09:19 PM
Such a dangerous system to use, and honestly it's not as simple as you're making it out to be.
I would be very hesitant about using this system because I've personally failed at it many times in the past.
3564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: March 30, 2018, 11:08:24 PM
When you make it a big issue, it may be time to put an end to this hobby.
That's the thing, it should be treated more or less nothing more than a hobby.
If you plan on quiting your day job to take up professional gambling, you may be in for some bad news since the house wins almost every time Roll Eyes
3565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: March 30, 2018, 11:06:53 PM
There are many effects that gambling has on the human mind, mostly negative ones.
The first thing that comes to mind is STRESS that comes with the territory.
Although there is nothing better than watching your team and winning BTC, all the while sometimes it is not worth it.
3566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The way to win in gambling on: March 30, 2018, 11:05:14 PM
The way to win in gambling is to find the best value in certain markets.
Personally, I look for sportsbooks that offer multi-sport parlays, Sportsbet.io and Nitrogen come to mind.
This really lets the punter offset the juice that the house takes.
If you can find a good system and use a sportsbook that allows multi-sports parlays, you can turn -115 into +110 really easily.
3567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a beginner is it too late ? on: March 30, 2018, 11:01:29 PM
Hell NO it's not too late!  In fact, some may even say that you are in a good spot if you're just now looking to get into crypto.
While there is no real telling in how much longer the bears will run the market, the price will almost inevitably go up!
We just need these weak hands to exit and the US tax season to end already!
3568  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Could Hit $1 Trillion This Year on: March 27, 2018, 03:50:22 AM
I think the market will definitely hit that # this year.  Even since we're in a bear market and people are panic selling, that doesn't mean that crypto currencies are becoming less popular.
3569  Economy / Services / Re: 🚀⚽️🏀 World League 2018 Signature Campaign: Sr, Hero & Legendary Members 🏈⚾️🚀 on: March 25, 2018, 01:35:20 PM
Payment received exactly when promised.
Looking forward to the next round!
Thanks again  Cool
3570  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: March 24, 2018, 10:59:28 AM
Yes, I'm a firm believer in capital punishment.
3571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 26Million of American own a cryotocurrecy. on: March 24, 2018, 10:58:15 AM
And of that 26 million #, those are only the ones who disclosed their ownership.
I'm almost certain that there are people who own crypto but don't want to talk about it as they fear having the gov getting involved, so they keep it to themselves.
3572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STORM Token: Earn Free Cryptocurrency[ICO] on: March 24, 2018, 10:56:52 AM
Never heard of this project,  nor am I looking to invest in new projects, but it's always interesting to note which coins are mooning, as this one has been up almost 200% the past few days!
I'm not a fan of pump and dumps so I hope everyone does their research before investing in this project.
3573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: March 24, 2018, 10:51:47 AM
Social media is a very powerful tool for promoting anything these days, not just BTC necessarily.
Nut if we took away social media when promoting BTC, we would not be doing ourselves any favors.
Many people rely on social media on a daily basis for their crypto 411, so yes it's important that we keep social media.
3574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY PANIC? Regulation talks are positive on: March 24, 2018, 10:48:32 AM
100% agree and the worst thing possibly to do is sell off in a bear market.
Panic selling will leave you in the whole, if you feel the urge to panic sell at times like these, shut off your computer and find something else to occupy your time.
You will regret selling at times like now when we're preparing for the running of the bulls!
3575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum be a Better Investment than Bitcoin in 2018? on: March 24, 2018, 10:47:09 AM
I get asked this question all the time and to be quite frank, it wouldn't surprise me at all if this were the case.
More actual use cases w/ ETH and multiple applications being built on its blockchain.
3576  Economy / Goods / Re: Make Bitcoin Great Again (Pro-Bitcoin Merchandise) on: March 20, 2018, 07:17:22 PM
Some very nice work you got there.  I'm not a big fan of politics, but I may be purchasing a shirt soon.
3577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are the new ICO'S doing?? on: March 20, 2018, 07:16:05 PM
At this stage in the game, the whole ICO phase seems a little drained.
It almost seems more better to just buy and hold either BTC or ETH, and prat for the best case scenario.
It's a known fact that most, if not all, of the alt coins will fail.
So my best advice is to buy the 2 main ones.
3578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin loose its popularity? on: March 20, 2018, 07:11:07 PM
Good question and hopefully the answer is "no," but it's still hard to tell as we're still in its infancy stage.
Even if BTC loses it popularity, that's not to say it will lose its value.
More and more we are seeing BTC in the news, on tv and social media, so it's tough to justify its popularity.
3579  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2018 will be at $50,000 on: March 20, 2018, 07:09:11 PM
Can you post your source for this elaborate prediction  Grin
I mean, $50k sounds like a brilliant number, don't get me wrong.
But let's try to be more realistic when starting threads like this, if anything for the integrity of the project.
3580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: March 20, 2018, 07:07:50 PM
Bitcoin is only as strong as society will allow it to be.  The more of the demand, the higher the price and in return, the greater the reward.
While this can be said about stocks and other currencies, Bitcoin also has the technological aspect behind it, making it a force to be reckoned with!
