3564  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blockchain DB: Store any data on the blockchain, 100% uncensorable. on: February 03, 2015, 02:17:07 PM
Blockchain DB allows you to leverage the blockchain as a redundant message / data archival system. Just enter your text (or raw bytes, if you preer to store data), pay the fee, and it will be embedded into the blockchain.

It uses OP_HASH160 so the data cannot be pruned or ultrapruned - guaranteeing that your data will forever remain on the blockchain. It's also completely uncensorable.

http://blockchain-db.com/

ok..
but with this solution,
what size would reach the blockchain ??
i think no GB... but PetaByte...
and how you will be able to download an sync with him?

3566  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to hedge with Bitcoin on: February 03, 2015, 02:12:10 PM
I don't think you can actually hedge with Bitcoin. At least not how you can with currency pairs.

sure you can..
and if you use exchange with Zero fee..
it is better...
you can do a lot of trades without fee...

check okCoin and Huobi

when you want to start with mining:

-dont make pre-orders

-only invest a little bit and see how it works

-learn how to secure your coins

-learn more about BTC

(the book is a good start  Smiley )

you forgot to say

no subscriptions of cloud mining services!!!

3568  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Best online wallet without fee? on: February 03, 2015, 02:03:10 PM
What is the best online wallet without any tax / fees.

Except for blockchain

BitGo.com is keep charging me to pay the miners

if you want, you can do it with wallet-QT too..

but if you set 0 transaction fee,
you have an high risk to get unconfirmet transaction!!!
and until the transactio remain unconfirmed, your btc are unavailable!!!
in addition to, you cannot delete the transaction.. so you can just to wait until the transaction become abandoned.
The transaction then disappears from blockchain.info/wallet as if it had never been made.
Now you can use your btc again.
3569  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Core Shutting Computer Down on: February 03, 2015, 01:58:47 PM
Bitcoin armory is pretty much the same as Bitcoin core. Any SPV wallet would be nearly as safe if installed on a online computer while taking less time to sync, if you are in a hurry, you can just import it on blockchain.info or any other SPV client.

Its not im in a hurry it just keeps crashing my computer, driving me mad!

import it?

Cheers, James

just to understand.

this happen every time you open wallet???

3572  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Become Forbes listed solving captchas on: February 03, 2015, 01:39:49 PM
have you ever heard of something "decaptcher"?

all you need to code a decent program and find most profitable faucets Grin

Let's say you've bought 1000 captcha credits for 1$ it cost you around 0,004 btc.
what did you pay for 1 captcha? 0,00000400 btc. (So 1 captcha is solved by computer program for 400 satoshi).
You need to find faucets that pay over 400 satoshis.

i have searched for captcha solver for a long time...
but never found one!!!
then captcha, every time you fail to resolve one, it reload with one more with highest difficulty...
and you can forget to resolve it!!!

so, faucet, are really waste of time for me!
3573  Other / Meta / Re: Unusually large amount of new users in the past week (bots) on: February 03, 2015, 01:31:17 PM
I've reported god knows how many of these over the past week or so. They are posting the same stuff so pretty easy to identify. They also post in the same sections, but it seems to be random as I haven't noticed any posting patterns. Just look at the modlog, the majority of those accounts getting nuked are these bots.

if they post the same text/msg...
they really have a bot who post automatically...
i check all users post above..
but no threads fond..
all are 0/0 post/activity...
maybe you ahve deleted all they posts...

but i'm curious..
wich kind of msg they post?

thanks!

3575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.1 Automated Transactions on: February 03, 2015, 01:19:26 PM
Lets say I have 3x2 TB drives and leave my computer on most of the time; would BURST be at all profitable?

I have only 6 TB mining in this pool http://pool.burstcoining.com:8124/ and now is very profitable,  because low energy usage (max 2-3W per disk!) Think that Burst price will jump at long term! Smiley

Can u get into ur burst wallet anywhere in world as long as u have passphrase??

sure!!!

this is a standard for all NXT based altCoin.
you have just blockchain data locally on your computer.
"wallet.dat" is on cloud!....

and is not sotred locally!
