How do I get rid of orphans on the new slk wallet? With the previous Silkcoin wallet there was a simple repairwallet command but here there's a whole section called repair wallet. Any help?

This is a very nice strategy: a diverse portfolio of investments in several casinos. Very helpful and by the way you internet site is very informative. I'll gather some BTC from my cold storage and I may invest some.

"Some critics say the public interest in the blockchain has been all talk and no substance — an easy way for stuffy central bankers to appear hip and relevant."

Blockchain without Bitcoin is nothing but a lot of talk and badge

3564  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-10-11] Bitcoin Exhibit Hosted at the Smithsonian Museum on: October 12, 2016, 06:30:20 AM
Bitcoin has been included in its own section within the Value of Money exhibit showcase by the Numismatic Association at the Smithsonian Museum, for the National Numismatic Collection.

There’s a general description of cryptocurrencies, along with a picture of the exchange rate of bitcoin to/from USD for the year 2014, considered by mainstream media to be one of Bitcoin’s worst years.

Sorry for the noob question, but what's the difference between SLK and DSLK?  Also, if you have SLK now, how much will they be worth in DSLK?

As far as I know this is the only crypto project which managed to recover from one of the many P&D attempts of the crypto history.
SLK is an update of the former Silkcoin which was a buggy but very resistant coin which managed to live until today thanks to its community.
Dark Silk is a completely new coin, with a new algo and a new whole idea behind.

Dark Silk is undergoing an ICO right now, read for yourself and invest if you think that's right for you.

Hi Sean,
what type of blockchain do you use if I may ask. Permissionless like bitcoin or closed/permissioned like Ripple?
How do you deal with security?
You mentioned smart contracts so it seems you are drawn to use a private ethereum like platform.

If that's not a secret it would be good to know.

Don't you know that in China they are starting to eat Bitcoin for Lunch?

3569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Silk Network: DarkSilk(DSLK) ICO on: October 11, 2016, 06:05:19 AM
1800000 SLK cap for another 27 BTC so it would 69 plus 27: so current funding is more or less equal to 100 BTC which is not bad at all.
Hungry camels wait for stingy scorpions  Cool

Agreed and we are only halfway into the ICO  Cool

Can you please add the SLK funding alongside the BTC one in the DARK SILK ICO page? I'm asking because if it was not for you pointing that out we would have had no clue of how much SLK you are getting.
Please update the ICO page  Wink

Who win Champions League (updated)

Barcelona @4
Bayern M.@4.5
Real Madrid @6.5
Manchester City @11
Juventus @12
Atl Madrid @13
Borussia Dortmund @13
PSG @25
Arsenal @25
Napoli @40
Leicester @40
Tottenham @40
Seville @50

My favorite this year is Bayern but the quote of Manchester city at @11 is very tempting.
i think spanish teams will no longer dominate champion league this season and i do have felt that champion league trophy will belong for Germany team but maybe for Bayern Munich not Dortmund however champion league is very different than local league because too many unpredictable match results

Juventus @12 is a very good bet! Barcelona is overrated @4 I don't think they will win Champions League this year. To me Bayern Munich is the best candidate even if Juventus is really tempting me.

That's really hard to say until you see the draw in the knock out stages.  What if Bayern Munich drew Barca or Real in the KO stages or the quarter finals?  Luck plays a very big factor in the CL because it's a tournament format.  And the draw at every stage makes it feel kinda like a lottery.

Yes all true but if we wait more odds will lower. This is the time to put a risky bet on which team is going to win the Champions League. I pick Juventus, my choice, all in!

3573  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-10-10] How India May Cause a Massive Rise in the Bitcoin Price on: October 10, 2016, 05:44:34 PM
“Remittance industry is another sector where Bitcoin is soon going to play a huge role in the country. India is known to have the largest remittance market, receiving about $70 billion each year. The Indian diaspora spread across the world is known to send money to their immediate families and relatives back home. The remittance volumes also show a significant increase during festivals. While some people already use Bitcoin for cross-border transactions, the Indian Bitcoin companies are gradually moving to capture their share of the market as well.”

If only a 10% of that would shift on bitcoin we're going to the moon for real. I personally helped an indian friend to save quite a few bucks telling him to send his funds as bitcoin instead of being robbed at moneygram

"we must launch ecoin (DTS) because Bitcoin is already at his full potential and full block usage ... it's a big trap for the FIAT system, we can loose the complet control builded since 1973 !"

Mr. Robot - Saison 2.

Not even close to its full potential! But hey, what a free advertising from one of the major cable companies. Bitcoin is here to stay, they know it. No e-coin will ever be as good as bitcoin.

Talking price I see the price is paving its way up.

It seems to me that some bots war is starting: some forces are keeping the price at this level. Expect major changes soon and by soon I mean end of October beginning of November. To quote Mr. Robot "exiting times kiddo, exciting times"

Bots are starting their war so definitely there's fuel coming to the game. Trading will heat during winter times. With some friends we expect another 2013. Be prepared, this time is gonna be big again. Miners are hungry too

Hi all. I did not know this thread existed since the other was locked, I thought it was all over. I only found this by looking on coinmarketcap and saw silk. Then I found out that you all have been busy. I have my weaver account, (looks great by the way) really good work guys. I looked through the thread but cannot seem to see it.
I just opened my silkcoin wallet and I only can find 1 connection and its got lots to download and its stuck. My question is how do we send our old silkcoin to the weaver to change to silk?
Any help would be very much appreciated.

You mean the old silkcoin wallet? I can't help with that. Wait for the developers. But the more time passes the less chances you have to recover those old coins. The weaver could still help you.

The difficulty of the following parlay is quite high (many real good odds) but I wanted to try my luck even more this time.

Poland - Denmark Poland
Scotland - Lithuania Scotland
Slovenia - Slovakia both teams to score
Armenia - Romania Romania
England - Malta over 2,5 goals
i don't think slovenia vs slovakia will finished both teams scored , it may goaless 0-0.
i prefer to bet for slovakia money line +0.5 or both teams to scor NO.
obvious result of england vs malta i even bet for over 4.5 goals Cheesy
I will keep Slovenia versus Slovakia like that and I will change England versus Malta to Over 3,5 goals. I hope they will score more than four goals. As for the rest stays the same
