3561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to hold many cryptocurrencies on: April 21, 2017, 10:29:33 AM
I was wondering what your suggestion to holding multiple cryptos is?

Obviously I don't want to hold even medium amounts of the stuff on exchanges, but it's incredibly tedious to have to download seperate wallets for my computer, synchronize everything and.... well, yeah.

What's your strategy on this?

i hold my many currency in a secure vmware machine, dedicated to all the altcoin, in this way if there are virus it remain there, and the other mahcien are secure, you can also easily make a saved point with a virtual machien and restore form there if you lose your wallet because of a crash, and suspend option come in hand because it let you maintaining all the wallet openend at once even if you restart
3562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Opinion about my holdings. on: April 21, 2017, 10:26:13 AM
keep only bitcoin of course this is the king, ethereum and maybe stratis, the other are garbade, you are holding coins that have high instability and can make you lose money, now add ark, spreadcoin, and lbry and perhaps some zcash
3563  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Your advice needed - updated on: April 20, 2017, 04:57:57 PM
I have already asked, but nobody answered, so, I am repeating:

The Battle system will be automatic. Ships will have weapons. Weapons have damage, accuracy and shooting speed.
The basic weapon will be a laser gun.
It will have 8-14 points of damage, 60% accuracy and 0.6 sec for shoot.

Firstly there will be 2 types of ships. 20 and 85 points of health. 85% and 50% of dodging.

The sample of the battles mechanic:
Ship 1 make a shot with laser gun 1 and damaged ship 2 for 8 points.
Ship 2 make a shot with laser gun 1 and missed.
Ship 2 make a shot with laser gun 2 and missed.
Ship 1 make a shot with laser gun 1 and missed.
Ship 2 make a shot with laser gun 1 and damaged ship 1 for 10 points.
Ship 2 make a shot with laser gun 2 and damaged ship 1 for 13 points.
Ship 1 destroyed.

Well, if it will be simple to draw, then battles will be shown in images, if not, in text mode.

How do you think is this battle system rather good? Maybe you have some suggestions?

if this is a naval combat where you can bet or maybe i earn point to convert in bitcoin if i destroy the opponent ship? it sounds interesting indeed, but on what is based the fact that one ship miss the shot and the other not, is it all random, or require some skill? i prefer if it is not all about luck, i also like that you want to keep it simple at first, but you can add upgrade and more weapons later, would make things more interesting
3564  Economy / Gambling / Re: seasoned poker players on: April 20, 2017, 04:55:23 PM
This is for anyone that's been playing poker for 5+ years profitably

Where do you like to play and why
I'm looking for new venues to check out
That accept BTC deposits and withdrawals

Normally I play at NitrogenSport, as there is hourly freeroll, with no. of players there.
and also you can sport betting there too (if you want).

how many players are there playing poker? i always searched for a good poker room with bitcoin, that has a good freeroll to start without investing but i didn't found anything, all the poker room require investment and their freeroll players base is empty
3565  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Africa on: April 20, 2017, 04:53:23 PM
i think people in africa are way too behind in terms of technology there to fully embrance bitcoin, they will have an hard time keeping bitcoin alive, but some of the countries in africa are not so behind like tunisia and egypt, they can trade bitcoin and build some atm for them, but to be honest i can't see anything big happening there, like regulation or exchange
3566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 42 coin still good? on: April 20, 2017, 04:46:37 PM
Browsing my hdd, i found I have a 42 coin wallet.

I seen that 42coin thread is closed and see that price on 42coin is good.

Where can i find the client? Even worth keeping the wallet?

not good anymore, but you can still trade i think on cryptopia, it has still a decent value, 1 42 coin is worth 1 bitcoin, if you have many you can trade for good profit https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=42_BTC, here the wallet https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1502028

3568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New mining farm discussion on: April 20, 2017, 04:41:42 PM
i think if you are going to leave many miners in the basement you need to have a windows there or to redirect maybe the hot air outside with a tube? and for tax i just don't claim anything if i keepeverythign in bitcoin, if you are going to sell you need to claim your income or you would get in trouble, my suggestion is to keep everythign crypto and only sell what you need to cover the electricity
3569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any coin has Dpos like ark? on: April 20, 2017, 10:44:56 AM
yes lisk have a dpos and have a forging system to mine, not like standard pos but much different, i think wave also should have a dpos, system because it was based on lisk but i'm not sure
3570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zcoin forks without premine? on: April 20, 2017, 10:40:09 AM
yes look here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1671060.0, zoin is a fork of zerocoin, but has a different algorithm, slightly different, they chaged the parameters to make it harder to mine
3571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Most Undervalued Coin of 2017! on: April 20, 2017, 10:38:09 AM
i thinks  lbc is the most undervalued

lbry is undervalued for a reason, the amount of coins produced by miners is very high, they are producing 250k coins per day, and buyers can't keep with that, the price was initially high because the value was like 10 or very small, then they dumped when the value was 300 coins per block, i think they need to fix the decreasing per year, it's too slow at the moment
3572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitmain deliberately preventing the activation of SegWit on Litecoin? on: April 20, 2017, 10:35:58 AM
It's time for the user activated soft fork. Everyone go and signal SegWit by adding -uacomment=UASF-SegWit-BIP148 as a command line parameter to your litecoin core wallet.

does litecoin have UASF too? i don't remember this for litecoin but only bitcoin, and i don't think we can have a vote in consensus if we are just regular node, full node can't vote as far as i know
3573  Economy / Gambling / Re: Corruptible CS:GO Game on: April 19, 2017, 03:30:30 PM
Hello everyone, I have a friend who is playing CS:GO professionally. He is attempting to tournaments which you can bet on, and I was wondering if some of you is interested in this. Let me know guys Roll Eyes

yes, but first i need to know who is your friend, he is a famous player which also good enough at cs go? because if he is average i would not bet on him but against him sorry, also you need a platform to make a bet for cs go, i spotted some site here that do sportbetting, can you ask if your friend can be added there perhaps?
3574  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: How to use bitcoins to keep them safe? on: April 19, 2017, 03:28:58 PM
Hi,
I ve read that some e-wallets restrict your account and ask for ID docs to unblock access to your funds  (coinbase).

So, some people  say that they don't leave their btc in wallets for long time, as soon they get BTC funds they exchange for FIATS and this is more secure.
I do not know much about fiats and all.

Can you  point to a good tutorial or guide on how to do that? or share some lights to  use BTC to keep they safe or a good site to exchange them for USD , like using  Paypal as conversor?

Or any secure e-wallet  that dont's ask for ID proof?

Thank you

don't keep bitcoin on exchange, keep it locally, if you want to keep themon exchange keep them in a exchange that can cover your ass, like xapo or coinbase, if you exchange for fiat, you are still not secure, because they can do a withdrawal request to their bank account
3575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best altcoin to be kept on: April 19, 2017, 03:22:18 PM
Even though the number of altcoins is increasing, the number of good coins is a constant Cheesy

no it's actually decreasing lol, some good coin are dying because they were not that good, now i see for good coin only ETH, Zcash, lbry, monero, vertcoin maybe, those are the big one, other need to do something if they want to be called good, and the best to keep for me is spreadcoin now, after the swap, 0.01 is possible
3576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Digibyte DGB Segwit Activation on: April 19, 2017, 03:20:52 PM
What do you think guys?the price is pretty cheap right now

https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_dgb

https://segwit.digiexplorer.info/

what is the meaning behind having segwit for these coins? are they only trying to ride the hype lol? they don't get any benefit from segwit, their amount of transaction is very poor, they think if they add segwit the price will increase, just because you add it, no thanks i don't want to be those investors who falls for this shit
3577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex delisting 17 Altcoins on: April 19, 2017, 03:18:29 PM
Cryptocurrency exchange Poloniex has announced it is delisting a record of 17 altcoins by May 2nd. The decision came in the form of a tweet yesterday, in which the exchange listed assets including Boolberry and Voxels are among the losers together with CureCoin. The altcoins to be delisted are the following:

BBR, BITS, C2, CURE, HZ, IOC, MYR, NOBL, NSR, QBK, QORA, QTL, RBY, SDC, UNITY, VOX, XMG.

I own curecoins, so I could tell the price decreased by 50% in 1 day.

Do you own some of the delisted coins?

all shitcoin, but i'm a bit sad for noblecoin and myr, which were good coin at the beginning, but they were forgotten later, i'm also surprised about magi, i though it was a good coin, it's the only cpu coin remaining, no problem for me anyway i don't own any of those
3578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need some help, please on: April 19, 2017, 10:09:13 AM
litecoin is a pump and dump scheme, was pumped because of segwit but i don't believe in this pump, will crash sooner or later, and i suspect that bitmain is pushing the value higher to sell their new asic which are very profitable to mine with
3579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: which coin do you think will been listed on poloniex next on: April 19, 2017, 10:06:31 AM
i think nexus is going to poloniex, when they will release the new wallet, poloniex will add it i'm sure and the value will increase much more, nexus is a very promising coin, has a different pos system and different reward with anti pool hopping feature, they have a "prime reserve" number that will adjust based on this, and also anti quantum with 512 bit encryption
3580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the Bitcoin war is stupid and Bitsend isn't. on: April 19, 2017, 10:05:12 AM
Why the hell are we in this bind with Bitcoin when the solution already exists today as Bitsend which has a block size of 10mb....even DASH only has a block size of 1MB.

So why tinker with Bitcoin unlimited just so you can solve a a problem Bitsend already did?

Time for Bitcoin to be just digital Gold as Satoshi aka Szabo intended and let solutions come forward that solves scaling.

increasing the block size to 10 mb isn't a solution you know, or maybe not otherwise you won't ask about it, you have to find a better scaling solution like segwit, bitsend also is a coin that isn't used like bitcoin isn't it? what merchants adopt bitsend, how many transaction are there for it now? i bet very few transaction, instead bitcoin have 300k transaction per day!
