3561  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitRoul.com the only Roulette with no Zero and a solid Provably Fair feature on: July 22, 2021, 08:33:49 AM
When the money was credited to my account I was given a 779 balance. So I assume 1000 coin balance is .01btc.

It is an odd way of denominating balance. So these are neither millibitcoins (mBTC) nor microbitcoins (bits), but something in between?
I would say this is also a flaw.
3562  Economy / Speculation / Re: TESLA will re-accept bitcoin & SpaceX owns BTC, said Elon Musk. Ready for pump ? on: July 22, 2021, 08:20:28 AM
It's interesting that he admitted to holding Dogecoin. I wonder if he can be prosecuted for obvious manipulation of the DOGE market?
How are these things regulated in the U.S.?
3563  Other / Meta / Re: Why is the activity of my account still 14? on: July 22, 2021, 08:08:39 AM
<snip>

Since the day you registered, you have not posted anything until a few days ago. Why?

You can get a maximum of 14 activity over a two-week period. It has nothing to do with the date of your registration.
You will receive the next batch of activity points in approximately two weeks (if you are active on the forum during that period).

EDIT:
The explanation by DdmrDdmr was very good as well.

In other words, "welcome KYC to every fucking platform that uses crypto transactions."
As if that will stop criminals and terrorists... Just like that. Poof! And they are gone.
3565  Other / Off-topic / Re: A gift for a sportsman on: July 22, 2021, 07:47:09 AM
My friend is into sports. To be precise, he takes up cycling. His birthday is coming up and I want to give him a present. But I don't know what to give sportsmen. Clothes? Money?

The choice depends on the value of the gift. More expensive gifts are always more difficult to choose.
Giving money to teens is good, but I wouldn't recommend giving money to an adult with a steady income.
3566  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitRoul.com the only Roulette with no Zero and a solid Provably Fair feature on: July 22, 2021, 07:38:08 AM
About the "nonce" in provably fair process .

I read a lot about that , without finally understand the real efficiency of the nonce in provably fair , worse , sometimes the nonce could be conter productive .

Is there any risk for the roulette fairness to remove the nonce ? I do not think so and I consider a nonce free Provably fair very soon on BitRoul

I don't think that makes sense. How will you be able to distinguish individual bets in a provabliy fair manner if there is no nonce?
3567  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitRoul.com the only Roulette with no Zero and a solid Provably Fair feature on: July 21, 2021, 02:32:33 PM
Hauzenberg , it's true that if the house can cheat 1 second , it has two possibilities in its hand , maybe both losers , but anyway they have an edge .
So , whereas the nonce is decided by the client when he clicks on SPIN , the value in itself has less importance than the uncertainty on the correct value within one second .

Clearly, this in itself is a huge flaw in the system and means that it cannot be promoted as provably fair. The entire concept of "provably fair" is that there is no possibility for the house to cheat, nor is there an advantage over the player (beyond the defined parameters of the house edge).
3568  Other / Off-topic / Re: Shopping Online on: July 21, 2021, 10:57:02 AM
This probably how the future is going to look like, buying everything online and getting it shipped to your door.

I still like to visit a physical store to learn more about a product that interests me.
For instance, in order to buy electrical appliances, I typically go to a few of the largest shopping malls in my area, find a product I like, and then go home and order it online.
Shopping online usually leads to better deals, while visiting a physical store lets me see the product up close.
3569  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to edit pdf files? on: July 21, 2021, 10:34:40 AM
It used to be possible to use simple built-in tools. Now I have another problem. I want to draw pixels on PDF files randomly. I use PDFsharp to create a PDF file. But I didn't get the option to draw pixels in PDFsharp. Is there any way to draw a pixel on a PDF file using PDFsharp? I know there is a guide and programs, but maybe there is a simple easier way, I'm too lazy to read all the information. Just write me step by step what to do. My friend says to add a bitmap

I'm not familiar with PDFsharp. Google says it is "an Open Source library for creating PDF documents from any .NET language".
Is that what you're trying to do? Create PDF documents programmatically?

Anyhow, when I want to add anything to the PDF document, I usually open it in a graphics program like Adobe Illustrator.
3570  Other / Off-topic / Re: Higher education, is it so important? on: July 21, 2021, 10:26:31 AM
The word "SO" is over mentioned , Higher education is Important but we must remember that there is Life even you are not a title Holder.

and lets admit that most of the Popular person in the world are school drop out or did not finished their Higher education.

But they are persevered and dedicated so they achieved what they wanted to be,.

It is true that higher education does not guarantee us to be successful people. Even in my country, there are many people with higher education
who are still unemployed and have difficulty finding work. There are other factors that are very important in life so that we become successful people,
so higher education is not enough for us to become successful people. It takes big dreams and real action from ourselves to realize our dreams to
become successful people, higher education is only one of the supporting factors. So like you said, most of the popular people in the world do not
finish their higher education, but they can become rich and successful people. Because they are persistent to achieve their dreams.

What's important is the development of our talents and using that for the good of other people and our society/world.
You need to have the right education that teaches you the right things especially what are necessary to make you a better person for the good of others.
I hope we focus more on having school that develop diverse human talents. You can easily use the talented people to build a brand new society and anything good that can be built. They just need to be trained in the right way, by the right people and helped to become useful to their societies

It all depends upon what stage of life you are at. Higher education, like college, is so important at some times in our life. We want to be educated to have the best chances of climbing up the career ladder. But, at other times, it is a waste of time. There are career paths in life that do not require college.

We are also seeing a growing trend in online learning. In most cases, online courses are more convenient and they offer more options and there are some people who prefer the convenience of learning online.

I'm still looking for alternatives to SimilarWeb.com. I guess no one has encountered this problem before?

3574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes NFTs popular? on: July 18, 2021, 09:20:52 AM
Yes, NFT's started as a silly little online game that used blockchain technology to allow players to sell and trade the rarest and most valuable digital collectibles. However, it has now grown into something much more meaningful. Simply put, NFT's and blockchain technology are going to make digital collectibles a cornerstone of future e-commerce.
3575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 16, 2021, 01:14:22 PM
It's a quiet summer so far when it comes to big transfers but this does not surprise me at all after what season we had. I think the big ones so far are made by PSG with both Donaruma and Ramos, followed by United with Sancho. But Real Madrid did not made a single transfer so far, right ? Even more , Perez is mocking all the ex glories of Real Madrid ...from Raul , Casillas to Ronaldo and Cr7...what happened at Real Madrid ? 2 years with no big transfers.

However, there are some others who are expected to be announced in the coming weeks and months. Many transfers have been temporarily postponed due to the European Championship.
We will probably see some more transfers around the end of the transfer window.
3576  Other / Off-topic / Re: Shopping Online on: July 15, 2021, 08:23:23 PM
Today, we can conduct a large portion of the buying process from the comfort of our homes. This has led to a revolution in consumer behavior, and it is just getting started. Consumers don't need to make major trips to the store to make their purchases, as they can go to multiple stores or websites to find what they're looking for. Consumers can even buy groceries online and to have them delivered right to their homes. Amazon already sells grocery items in several states across the US via its Amazon Fresh grocery delivery service.

But, with new customer experiences beginning to take shape, retailers are catching on. Some stores are combining online and offline experiences to help shoppers get what they need, when they need it. We will probably see more traditional retailers using home delivery to get closer to their customers and compete with the expansion of online ordering. However, the home delivery services are not only for convenience. If the item is needed by an elderly customer or someone who is homebound, this may be a useful service.
3577  Other / Off-topic / Re: A silly question about blockchain on: July 15, 2021, 07:54:19 PM
I am very green in Cryptocurrency. I knew it is based on Blockchain and the data in the chain cannot be amended. However, I have one question, data eventually need hardware to store, right? Since the blockchain is decentralized, the chain data would be saved to where ? Which storing devices are saving those data ? thank you

As the Poker Player replied, each full node keeps a copy of the entire blockchain database. Thus, synchronization is required once the Bitcoin core client is started.

3579  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to find the top ranking websites in a specific niche on: July 15, 2021, 07:26:24 PM
When I try google search, I don't get results like SimilarWeb or Alexa.
For example, if you look at similar sites (competitors) for dell.com you will get these results:
Lenovo
Intel
Asus
Newegg
Bestbuy
Cdw
Delltechnologies
Microsoft
Ibm
Nvidia

https://www.similarweb.com/website/dell.com/#similarSites

But when I try google search for "related:dell.com" I get nothing. The same thing happens with many other domains, so I don't know how I could use google for that purpose.
3580  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: QoinPro.com - Free BTC, DOGE, LTC, FTC, VTA every 24 hours automatically on: July 15, 2021, 07:10:03 PM
Replied them with an address of my deposit address on a casino. Obviously, I do not expect the $10 to come but just trying to see whether they will send it or not.

You never know, they might surprise you. Even though it is not a large amount, I wish you the best.  Cheesy

The DOGE coins that have accumulated may be worth some money, but I will not even attempt to retrieve my account.
