Buying 12,500 tokens will not need a lot of satoshis so you can expect to get a nice interest from staking the tokens. Before you decide to buy, you should know that even your chance to win can increase by having that tokens, you still need your luck to win some prizes, so do not expect much about that and only play and enjoy the games.

It is normal if the rewards are dropped a lot because it is affected by the bitcoin price. But the good news is we can still use it.
That is the thing about fun tokens. It gives you a "better chance" and it also allows you to earn more at the same time. So, you basically pay for itself while you try to win more with a higher chance at the same time. It has always been a utility token from the moment freebitco.in took over, if you have absolutely no reason to be on freebitco.in and not interested in anything related to here then you may not want to invest into it and it would be understandable.

However, if you have money and if you want to invest into something that is profitable when you are here? Then it always made sense, that is the thing about fun token. So anyone who has enough money and spends time here and ignores to buy any fun tokens are losing out on a better chance, their own choice of course and they could do that, nobody forces anyone to buy after all, but it would be smarter to enjoy the benefits of it.
3562  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Superbowl- Multi Master is back!! 🚀🚀 on: February 09, 2022, 09:55:46 AM
Superbowl is coming up, it is going to be super awesome. I know there is a multi master going on right now for that week and it is a fun thing and all. However, at the same time I am guessing that we are going to see something just focusing on Super Bowl at the same time. All other places have done it for years and so did sportsbet.io and they will probably do something this year as well. It is certainly a fun thing and the rewards are usually way too higher.

I am entirely sure that bookies either make INSANE returns on these games or they make absolutely no money and lose money on it, why? Because every place spends way more than they could on superbowl just to get people to gamble it on their place. I really like sportsbet.io and I will keep on gambling for Superbowl here, after I see what will be the rewards and what is the promotion.
3563  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: February 08, 2022, 04:44:07 PM
Rollbit has increased the requirements for the whitelist. For a basic whitelist to purchase only 1 Rollbots from the presale, you will need to be atleast level 5 in discord and 10 invites ( 5 more increments from the last requirements )
This is what im saying the raise of the requirements. I dont think I can make it since im lacking on invites and still not reached the required level but I will still give it a try. Is there a deadline for this or they have a certain limit for the v2 whitelist participants?
I would assume that the number increase didn't help the regular people and only helped the botters. Why? Because 10+ invites is easy, you just have to create new 10 new accounts and you would invite them all to the discord and you would fulfil the requirement.

All the people who know what they are doing and fair, would try to get honest 10 invites and they would have to accept the fact that it is very hard to do something like that. I am not saying that it is impossible but it is not as easy as someone who would end up doing 10+ fake accounts and invite them.

This is why I was against it, the difficulty doesn't matter if it was fair for everyone, do something that is equally fair for everyone and difficult, I would be glad to accept it. But, if people who follow the rules have a hard time yet people who break the rules do it easily then it is not fair.
3564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: School Students learning bitcoin basics in Slovakia.. on: February 08, 2022, 12:55:20 PM
Not bad, school is a place for people to learn, and things like Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies should be taught in school. Cryptocurrency and blockchain are the next big thing, and I think it would be a great idea if schools will try to focus on this area and help students to learn about blockchain and cryptocurrency so that in the future if this is something that they would be interested in, they can get into it and have a job as Blockchain and crypto engineers.

These days, I have noticed that there are lots of companies who are in need of blockchain engineers or developers, and in the past few years this has become one of the areas that there is the most jobs available in.
3565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Purpose on: February 08, 2022, 04:49:02 AM
You see companies that are accepting Bitcoin as a payment for goods and services, then what’s the difference between that and using as P2P?

I know that you fear that the government will come in to regulate Bitcoin, but what the companies are doing is no different from the purpose that Bitcoin was created, the only thing is that since they are big institutions and companies, they will tend to draw more attention from the government than when ordinary people are using Bitcoin for transactions.

Even these days most people are seeing Bitcoin as investment and not even a P2P method of transaction.
3566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New best altcoin on: February 07, 2022, 08:30:22 PM
There is not exactly any new "best" altcoin, only for one reason; because each sector has its own best. Like we have new regular coins, we have new tokens, we have new defi ones, we have new metaverse ones, we have NFT related stuff, we have play to earn stuff and plenty other stuff as well. All of which is a proof that we are talking about something that is rarely there, it is not really about what is best, it is about which one will go longest without interruption.

If a coin I buy makes 10x in 2 years and stays relevant then I am happy, I prefer that over one that makes 1000x in a week and then becomes nearly zero in a month or two. Not many people care about longevity anymore, no idea why but I find that a bit dangerous.
3567  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 07, 2022, 05:58:52 PM
I believe that NFTs is the correct step for Roobet to get more users and engage with it’s existing set of users, plus if those NFts will have utilities then there’ll be lots of demand for them. Lastly as and when Roobet decides to launch it, I believe that they’ll create a nice marketing buzz around it, and then one should buy it asap before they declare that it got sold out.
I still do not believe that NFT's are a good investment thing. People act as if it is a great thing and people are profiting from it but I have not met too many people who bought NFT from non-creator account and still profited. At the end of the day the only people who make profit from the NFT world is the creators who sell them for minting fee and the first buyers who may end up being first and sell it for a higher price. Aside from that, it is very rare that anyone makes a profit.

I am not saying it is impossible, obviously it is possible but it is very rare compared to all the other shady stuff going around in crypto. All the fake purchases, all the money laundering, all the other stuff combined comes out that maybe 1-2% of NFT world could buy from non-creator accounts and still make a profit. Roobet should make sure something like that doesn't happen if they want to succeed.
3568  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Renewable Energy sources the future? on: February 07, 2022, 10:33:12 AM
We don’t know that yet, but the world is taking every opportunity to switch to renewable energy sources. Nowadays you can see a lot of campaigns that are promoting the use of renewable energy sources, and condemning the use of fuel and the rest of other sources that are harmful to the environment. It is like a regular thing these days, and there are also companies now that are more focused on having energy sources that are renewable and not harmful to the environment.

This trend seems to be growing day by day, and as time goes on it’s quite possible that it would become a huge trend and most companies would be switching to it. I don’t think there would be any that would like to be left behind when most others have switched to a better source that doesn’t harm the Environment.
3569  Economy / Economics / Re: i was right people have no more money on: February 07, 2022, 09:42:19 AM
There is never a time that they will not say people don’t have money. This is something that is being said all the time, but at the end you will still discover that people have money to invest in so many things and also in their business. They keep saying that people do not have money, but you still see lots of people buying properties and lots of things that you would least expect them to buy at a time like this.

The truth is that there is money, and there are lots of people who have money, and there are also those who are living in poverty.

The world has been like that, there are those who are poor in the society and there are also those who are rich. So, saying that people do not have money is kind of like getting it wrong, because there has always been people who do not have money and there are those who have that money. So don’t generalize it.
3570  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Government Really Ban Crypto? on: February 07, 2022, 06:08:32 AM
The government can only ban Bitcoin in a way that people wouldn’t be able to transact to banks. But they won’t be able to stop p2p usage of Bitcoin. That is why in countries where Bitcoin has been banned, you will still see people who are making use of Bitcoin for transactions, and the government is unable to stop them.

So, in a situation whereby the government has banned cryptocurrency in a country, it is only the exchanges that are centralized who face the consequences, due to the fact that they are centralized and are being controlled by the government, the government can stop them from working at anytime. But the exchanges that are decentralized cannot be harmed by the government policies. So, whenever there is such a situation where the government bans Bitcoin, people moves over to making use of decentralized exchanges.
3571  Economy / Economics / Re: Dealing with tax and crypto ban on: February 07, 2022, 05:19:58 AM
I think it is usually best For a country to accept tax for Bitcoin, instead of banning it from their country. That way they are going to benefit from it instead of losing. Whenever the government bans Bitcoin, it’s just like they are losing, because they can’t actually stop people from making use of cryptocurrency. Some people in the country will still continue to make use of cryptocurrency because they know that they would be able to use decentralized platforms and go free with it.

The only platforms that are affected by the government ban of cryptocurrency is just CEX. So people still continue using it, and the government are the ones who are losing. But by embracing cryptocurrency and allowing people to make use of it, they can decide to be collecting a little tax from it, which stands to benefit the country in one way or the other.
3572  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: February 06, 2022, 09:10:25 PM
So expect that things would slowly or gradually go back to normal. What they have missed lately would really be patched up
and lets trust up those words and see this site would go back again into those normal days. Issues should be
resolved next.
Its a good news that he is getting better and also gave an update in this thread. Its an indication things will returned back to how it used to be. Though still uncertain when because there's no specific timeframe given.

Anyway, a little update from the owner do matter.
The biggest thing is that he has said he will be back with a big return. So, it is not really about just being "back", it is about him being back with some sort of big power so that he could cover the difference.

We all know that, the latest big break caused him to lose a lot of reputation, he is seen as someone who let people down and caused a lot of late payments and a lot of problems, even if he paid with bonus later on, that was 10+ weeks people didn't get paid for and that is not an acceptable thing. With the hot wallet being empty for time to time as well, it caused people to actually not even like him anymore.

This reputation decrease caused him to come back with hopes of getting it back, how will he get it back? If he does something "extra" and that is what he is after now. Anyone who is here, and anyone who participates in it, will be rewarded in an extra way I am sure.
3573  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed and other central banks rate and taking away repo markets volatility on: February 06, 2022, 08:47:40 PM
I think the word he is looking for is liquidity. The more liquidity we have the more easer it gets to sell and re-buy stuff around the crypto market. Volatility is entirely different thing. It is aspect ratio of how much volume is being injected and pulled out of the market at any given time. For crypto when we say it is highly volatile that means there is simply no limit on how much coins are being bought and sold! Due to this it creates huge marginal differences all the time.
This difference is created because there is "direct" control on money influx. Believe me the OP is all about liquidity rather than volatility.

Plus, central bank has nothing to do with this. Its sum of many things and not just one bank printing the money for nation.
That is right, liquidity is the reason how we could buy and sell without disturbing the market too much, volatility is when there is low level liquidity and even a single move could impact it. We all know there are tons of small cap coins out there where 10 million dollars could make it go up 2x or drop 50%, that is the baseline, there are thousands who would go 1000x higher with 10 million dollars as well. But the amount of coins that won't budge more than 0.1% with 10 million dollars worth of purchase is probably just 100, probably less.

This is why liquidity is important, it allows you to not really have a big change with that kind of low amount (low for the market, big for us).
3574  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | VIP | on: February 06, 2022, 06:44:18 PM
I wonder when he will stop accusing this site. Its been months but he's still exerting an effort to give false accusation without proof. Indeed it would be best to just ignore that guy.

Anyway last day of the pro bowl match promotion. Anyone here who tried? There are few promotions still on going with just a small bet so its not hard to join.
Every single time when there is a person who unsuccessfully complaints about a casino being a scam, it all ends up with the person stopping. I have seen everything from "it wasn't me, it was my cousin" type of excuses to "I shouldn't have, it was my last money" type of deals and these are like literally the people who accepts the fact that they are the ones who are responsible for something they have done and want it back for pity.

When you start to consider all those people who end up with complaints like "you are a scam, I should have won!" the size grows insanely high. ALL of them without exception stops after a while, never seen someone who kept doing it for years, they always stop after they realize that they can't get their money back. I know it is not really a great situation for the casino since there are few of them each month but not the same person for long a time ever goes the distance.
3575  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: February 06, 2022, 01:30:00 PM
Yeah and tbh, the requirement for Rollbot V2 sale is pretty simple compared to few others NFT project that I've got my eyes on
I know it's preety simple requirements compared to other projects that demand you must own an NFT or work in their promotional events to earn a whitelist spot as i have eyes on some Twitter and discord updates of these new NFT projects in the market.

But still we need some efforts on our part if we want to have them at cheap prices in minting and then gain more benefits out of this Rollbot 2.0 which can be out anytime next month or this only.So brace yourself.
There is a good reason why they are making the whitelist easier, mainly because it is a "niche" NFT situation.

As in, there are not many people who are aware that a casino is doing a collection, looking at the collection values and all and the people who tried to participate we could say that it is big enough that people really want to buy it as quickly as possible, hence why the first one was over very quickly, but also not big enough to be a world phenom type of deal like cryptopunks became, it is just simply a great way to get the name of the casino out as fast as possible by not paying too much and yet still getting people paid at the same time.

Instead of many issues , why not direct PM @lightlord or @Zodiac ? they are getting online mostly now so for sure they will manage to answer or address your issues directly .
i believe that recently the site is down and i think they are still working for some things and update , and also they may be working in the support issues as this has been the problem since last year.
because lightlord confirmed recently to be more active so yes try to PM them here in bitcointalk .
I would guess that they are getting tons of PM's everyday, from complaints to spam to beggers so it may not be really the ideal way to go if you want your problem to be solved. The best option for most people is contacting support line from the website and waiting for a response because I am sure that there will be a response from there either quickly or slowly but I doubt it would ever be ignored.

Second one would be writing here because it is an active place and even players may end up helping you if you have a question or something that you do not understand. This is why it is not really a terrible idea, if you are here to bash on bitvest then it may not be cool, but if you have a critical feedback where you know it would help this place or if you have something that is smart and understandable to ask then it would not really be a problem.
3577  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - We are putting 1 BITCOIN into Space!! 🚀🚀 on: February 05, 2022, 08:52:15 PM
I've been betting on Senegal a lot in past years, so their last final loss was tough, and it's something of a misled nostalgia that keeps me betting on them but yes, on basis of performance, Mane's men are a bit better I'd say than the guys behind Salah but you get the sense that Egypt have been playing a solid tune this whole tournament: attrition towards the final.

Last night's pitch was so poor though, heavy and turf flying all over the place, Salah spent half the time being fouled, kicked, and slipping all over -- his team were totally drained playing 120 minutes... while Senegal also have the extra day to rest so are more capable of turning on the afterburners. Pharaoh goalie is a cool cat, yeah, probably has a career in theatre too (that's a professional compliment from me haha).

And YES! A lot of people and my kid were saying wouldn't I prefer them to lose and go home early? But no, these guys operate on a different level. A win would pump them up and they'll take that confidence back to the Prem man.

And you know me... yes City won this but we can't just lie down and let them have it easy can we?
That mindset of getting even more tired and being in a fatigue mode but still operating better is something that only the best of the best would understand. There is a good chance that we could see the situation they are in some of the biggest stars in the world, not just in football but in all other sports as well. Famous story of Chris Bosh about Kobe who came out of the finals just a few days prior and already drenched in sweat from working out by the time Chris got up "early" according to him who has been out for over a month.

So, these type of players love being at the finals and love winning something and that fatigue doesn't matter when they are pumped that much. However, City probably got it anyways, I do not see that extra energy would bring anything extra to the team at all, sure they could be better for a while but that probably won't help too much other than finishing second.
3578  Economy / Economics / Re: Which business profit model do you prefer? on: February 05, 2022, 03:34:15 PM
If you are just starting then I think focusing on the rich, average and the poor people is the better business model than the other.

Lower capital but lower profit but I'd rather go on that route than investing a huge capital but there is no assurance that rich people will surely by with the products or services that you offer to them. Just see the huge companies right now. They focused on every people that want your product/services and that would be better than just picking a group of rich people to sell your products to them.

Well, if you will be successful with your business then you can think of another business that can focus more on the rich people but if you are just starting then focusing on all would be better even though the profit will be lower.
I would guess that something free but gathers users seems to be something that most people do. Facebook did not create that model but they became the kings of that. Plus, I like to see what people did to became rich, and I try to guess if I could have done something similar. Of course not become the richest person in the world, but just do what they do, just in much smaller scale.

Forbes shows Elon has the richest person in the world, could I build cars or rockets? I can't but considering his start came from paypal then maybe? Something like that, or just crypto payment processor like bitpay? Even that is a lot in tech related stuff but I could at least find someone to do it?

Second is Bernard Arnault, owner of Louis Vuitton, a luxury goods conglomerate, could I build luxury goods? I mean in a small scale? Sure. Jeff Bezos third? e-commerce website where people sell stuff, including amazon itself, so not really shockingly difficult.

Basically there are plenty of methods people get rich, even richest, and you just need to find a way to do it your way. It is NEVER about the idea or the method, it is about what you do and how you do it. A little bit cunning business, some luck, some parents with money and networks, and you are there.
3579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Viable Altcoin for the moment on: February 04, 2022, 09:30:30 PM
There are many good coins. First I think that you should look into buying Ethereum. Ethereum is a good coin and I would usually recommend it for anyone that is starting newly, it’s definitely a good choice to make. There is an upgrade that will soon be released on the network, and when this upgrade is finally released it is going to boost the Ether price for sure. Another thing is that Ether is deflationary, there were coins that were burnt and I believe that would even make the price to increase.

Other altcoins are good too, Solana, DOT, MATIC, and a lot of them are also good altcoins to buy. Try to avoid the bad ones, few good coins are alright for you. I try to keep it small when I’m investing, I’m not like those that buying so many coins and end up filling their portfolio with trash.

Funfury is definitely something people really wanted to see. The reality is that we do not always have money in our accounts and we do not want to reinvest right away, sometimes we just want to gamble but do not lose money at the same time. This is where these type of "fake" ones come in handy.

There are only a few places that have this kind of stuff like blackjack is doing and now betfury is participating in the same idea as well. I do not know how we could get this even better but I know that it is definitely something that we should be testing. I am going to keep playing it here until I win something serious, it is really looking too much fun to stop!
